Lovely staff, very attentive and caring as to how you enjoy/dislike the food. Food good quality and presented in nice way. Not overpriced for Algarve!

Gutes Essen, das im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Restaurants heiß serviert wurde. Man kann drinnen und draußen schön sitzen. Wir haben uns bei der netten Gastgeberfamilie sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Wir kamen um 22:30 an und trotz die Uhrzeit hat die Familie (Besitzer) um uns sehr bemüht, dass ich als Veganerin auch etwas zum Essen bekomme. Das Essen war super lecker und wir wurden mit voller. Aufmerksamkeit bedint.

Great staff, great food, great prices. The portions are very big and the prices are very decent. The food tastes very good, we ate mainly beef dishes, they all come with different side dishes. We also had a great almond sirup alcoholic drink from the house, sweet and tasty.

Best meal I've had in Albufeira and the best meal I've had in months. A little off the main strip too which is always a plus. Complimentary breads and nibbles from attentive waiters. Food was outstanding and probably one of the best prawn cocktails I've ever had. Jug of sangria and a little glass of port to finish too. Would definitely recommend

Had new year's eve meal here and although it was very busy staff were attentive.warm friendly atmosphere lovely food and the staff were great gave us glass of champagne at midnight and didn't mind us playing wee Scottish song to bring in the bells

Visited this restaurant last week and had the sea bass with sangria and dessert. The feeling of the place was awesome and it being a family run restaurant meant a lot to me. Food wise, Fish and potatoes perfectly cooked and seasoned, everything delicious and super fresh. The house-made dessert completely blew me away, and the sangria was very good. The owner and his daughter were extremely attentive and friendly, answering questions and guiding us through the menu. They were checking up on us and giving us a little background into the food we’re having. Please, please be aware that at the time of the visit the restaurant was quiet (being end of season) so they actually had the time to provide the extra customer service (which was obvious to me it’s something they LOVE doing and wish they can do it all the time). I am not saying that if you go in full-season it will be less of an amazing place to wine and dine, all i’m saying is please be considerate because these people are really trying their hardest to serve everyone and to be as attentive as possible to their guests, but also need to put the food on everyone’s table. Hats off to this amazing place as I think it’s the best place to eat in Albufeira. You really should eat here if in the area, especially if you’re looking after a proper local cuisine, delivered by locals. Fantastic!

Fabulous family run restaurant. The staff are so friendly and you can get a real taste of Portugal from their menu. If you are anywhere close I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

This was the first restaurant we ate at during our stay in Albufeira and it was not a good experience at all. There was no atmosphere and the staff were not friendly or welcoming. We were given bowls of bread and other bits which we did not ask for. We were charged 20 euro for this food that we barely ate and hadn't ordered and was made seem complimentary. We waited almost 45 minutes for our meal and when it came it was not nearly what we expected for the price. It was only fine and although we were told each meal came with chips we were only given one portion between two. When the bill came and we asked about the extra 20 euro charge the waiter was very rude and said if we did not want the food we should have sent it back. Don't go here when 'Stews and More' next door has incredible food for a much better price with excellent service.

The boiled king crab was amazing! The house white wine was perfect with it. The seevice was also top notch!

A little Portuguese gem. Great food, (the chateaubriand was to die for), very friendly and considerate staff. We had to visit it twice.

Beautiful Portuguese restaurant, specializing in fish cuisine!!! We arrived at 930pm after a late flight in.we were met with great service and value for money!!I have a picky 10 year old eater,who was accomadated very much so!!!we even got a slice of the owners birthday cake from his beautiful friendly daughter!!!worth a visit for sure!!!xx

Leckeres Essen, sehr freundlicher Service, nicht aufdringlich. Preis-Leistung auch sehr gut. Beef steak und Schweinefilet in Knoblauch waren sehr gut. Es gab gute Pommes und Salat dazu.

Endlich habe ich in Portugal ein Restaurant gefunden bei dem die Qualität zum Preis stimmt. Die Preise sind absolut fair. Ich hatte den Seebarsch fur 12,90€. Meine Begleitung die Carbonara für 8,90€. Der Hauswein mit 10€ ist fair. Könnte jedoch ein tikken günstiger ausfallen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Beide Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Espresso-einfach liegt bei 0,90€ - Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen hier zu essen, anstatt in das Altdorf oder nach "Neu-Albufeira" zu gehen. Lieber hier dessen und danach dort hin

Service was extremely slow.Prices would have been OK if the food had been something special. Cod with batter in the shape of a right angled triangle tells me it's not fresh from the sea unless it's a Lidl sea. Why spoil monkfish by hiding it in sauce. Reminds me of the old peppered or braised steak dishes.

Really slow service (I asked for the bill three times, got it after half an hour, even if it wasn't busy at all), average food (dressed crab full of bread and ketchup, making it taste disgusting) , waitress must have had a bad day as seemed to be annoyed by almost everything. There are too many places around to waste time and money for this place.

My mother, sisters and I went to Portugal for a week. We found Palacete on our first night and we're so impressed by the menu, quality of food, the wonderful staff and ambience that we ate there all but one night of our holiday. Excellent all round (especially the prawn Al alijo - which I might have mispelled!)
