Un panorama mozzafiato d'estate cenando all'aperto nel grande e ben rifinito terrazzamento sul porto. Lo staff molto preparato nonostante alcune dimenticanze. Ambiente interno un po' troppo affollato e chiassoso (gli fa perdere decisamente la 5*), buona scelta di vini. Sul cibo la cataplana davvero eccellente in accompagnamento al vino Grainha mentre sui dolci buonissimo la torta di mela al coccio con pallina di gelato alla vaniglia mentre da rivedere la cheesecake che assomigliava più a una panna cotta col biscotto.

Second time here this week and I was very impressed when here the on the first visit but and its a big but on our return I was very disappointed and could not believe it was the same place I actually went out side to check to make sure
But 25mins to get drinks, people in after us and had theirs before us, not had vodka and coke and a beer, while others getting waited on hand and foot and the quality and portion size was way down as well.

Overcharged €95 and Little in the way of an apology once amended. Also suspect that the separate bar account was also added to final (amended) food bill. Made as little fuss as possible as it may have spoiled my wife's 60th Birthday celebrations. The food was not that great. The staff friendly, and the restaurant nicely furnished and comfortable. Would not go back as I do not want to spend an evening counting the cost of everything.

Waited exactly 50minutes from placing order to recieving food, without any explanation i believe the owner of the establishment was sitting at a table opposite And didn't seem to either care or be aware of the poor level of service.......

This is a busy restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent front of house. The food was good but not amazing - steak wasn't the most tender or hot enough and warm chocolate cake wasn't warm enough. I would definitely go back though as definitely worth a second chance.

Great service, good seafood. The steak was sumptious, although we found the pasta/pesto a little dry.
The crab pate on bread starter was the best part of our meal.
In short, stick to meat/fish and possibly avoid the pasta, and anything with garlic ( it was over-welming).

Mixed experience last night. We were at the Marina side which was very crowded. Service was very slow though they were very nice when they came. One of us had a burger, which was not at all nice - tough and tasteless. Two pizzas were fine as was the leg of pork.

Good food though no better than other places we ate at and the place is just frantic. Staff rush around in a frenzy and they just seem in a hurry to get you out and can be a bit abrupt as a result. Never felt relaxed during our meal even though food took quite a while to arrive. Great setting but definitely wouldn't rush back.

Good food but relatively poor service. It's just a busy place so things don't happen so fast. Staff don't seem to talk to each other so you'll get the same questions multiple time. However the food is nice so I can't complain too much!

The happiest people we met. We thought that most Portuguese were unhappy, very few happy people around. Thank god we went here. Happy people, lovely service and food. I had the steak which was so tender and flavoursome and my wife and friends had fish.

Cadre vraiment sympa. Endroit joli. Serveur agréable. J'ai commandé le saumon. Il eyziy très bon .Par contre l'accompagnement était sans goût, sans sauce .Juste cuite à la vapeur! Vraiment à revoir ....
Le vin était bon. Les prix sont entre 15/20€ le plat. Cher pour le Portugal.

Nice terrace overlooking the Marina
Friendly staff
I had the lunch menue of the day, which was a delicious lamb stew.
For an excellent value for money ratio.
Chairs very comfortable (seen no better chairs in the other restaurants around the marina)
Next time in Vilamoura I will definitely return

Just returned from my visit in Quarteira and the 2nd lunch was as good as the 1st one
This time it was an excellent Chicken Stroganoff and this year it was warm enough to take the lunch on the terrace overlooking the marina

Ein Stern für die Aussicht auf den Yachthafen. Leider ist das Essen nur durchschnittlich und dafür überteuert. Auf der Rechnung findet man dann auch noch Posten, welche man nicht geordert hat. Man hat uns 2 Aufbackbrötchen, in Plastik abgepackte Butter und einen Aufstrich hingestellt, noch bevor wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Hierfür wurden uns am Ende je 2,40€ pro Person berechnet. Abzocke!

Tendo em conta local onde se encontra já se espera um preço mais elevado, porém compensa pela qualidade pelo menos da carne que é muito boa. Algumas bebidas exóticas também para se beberem a ouvir uma música de fundo num bom local para se estar e ter uma boa conversa. Agradecimento especial ao empregado Guilherme pelo atendimento 5 estrelas.

Bon mais cher. Pas de tomates dans la salade alors qu'il était censé y en avoir, 4 "couverts" comptabilisés alors que seulement 2 ont été consommés, attention à la facture. Les housses des chaises sont très sales, les parasols pas mieux. Qualité de service hétérogène, une serveuse très serviable, les autres pas du tout.

Der Salat mit Lachs hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portion war für den Preis definitiv angemessen.
Die Aussicht auf dem Deck ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
Auch das Personal war total nett und alle haben uns freundlich empfangen. Definitiv eine Empfehlung für alle, die auf der Suche nach einer guten Mahlzeit sind.

Poor quality, below average, hugely overpriced meal. Had Salmon which was bland to say the least. Wife had the cod - she thought it was very bland too. Service was ok, but overall worst meal of our holidays, by far.

Live locally and went there for breakfast.. Breakfast was good. Had eggs bennedict which were up to standard.... Staff were friendly....was completely shocked when I went through the bill and was charged 4.50 for a white coffee and 2.50 for an expresso.. This is beyond redicilous... I understand its on the marina and overheads or high but this is beyond normal... You pay 2.50 for coffee in the Praça in vale de lobo... And you wouldn't pay this in Quinta do Lago... This is why tourists feel ripped off and then start going to other places..

Mais manger dans un restaurent comme celui la !! a coter de 3 gars bourrer dont 1 qui comat sur la table sans aucune réaction de serveurs vraiment inadmissibles..... ils leurs ont meme servit de l'alcool.... une chance que j'étaie en vacance car le moment ou il s'adresse a moi ou a ma cojointe en mode gros lourd il fallait pas mal de contrôle !!

Cadre sympa. Le prix un tout peu chère pour du Bar grillé et 3 petite pomme de terre (18€) mais ce qui nous a le plus choqué c'est que sur l'addition, nous avons remarqué que pour 2 personne , 4,8€ les couvert. C'est la 1ere fois dans un restaurant ou les couvert font partie de l'addition

Don't know if you like your fish and chips with a thick layer of uncooked batter: we didn't. The chips were very finely cut and so fatty and not very good. The waiter was amused by our criticism...My salad was only okay. Not good, not bad. No dressing. Just raw veggies with a lump of grilled goat's cheese. Definitely not a good place or experience

Most staff very friendly but the waitress who was waiting at the door was incredibly rude to other staff members and kept giving out to them, she was literally running around the restaurant and made us feel quite uncomfortable. Food was nice but luke warm.

Beautiful location, expensive dining
It's in a beautiful location on the Marina which is convenient if you are waiting for a boat to depart (our boat wouldn't start was delayed for an hour!). One, no! The ONLY café/restaurant that was open at 10:30 am on a January morning (including the "Open 24 hours" restaurant that was closed until midday).
We got 2 (small) coffees with 4 slices of buttered toast, an OJ, a bottle of water and 2 croissants for over €20.

Good location on the Marina. Food is average and is certainly not worth the high prices but location trumps quality so be prepared to pay above average prices.
On the Marina side, there is the option for drinks only. They provide soft blankets for the cooler evenings which is a nice touch.

Serviço lento, comida saborosa mas servida em pouca quantidade. Óptima sangria. O espaço é bastante acolhedor. Convém fazer reserva com pelo menos um dia de antecedência. Tem uma agradável esplanada, ficar no interior em noites quentes é desaconselhável. Empregados muito simpáticos e atenciosos.

The News Cafe on the Vilamoura Marina is a great place. We have been going there for around 10 years now and we always get the same great welcome from the staff who are all lovely people. The News Cafe has the best value English breakfast on the Vilamoura Marina, in the winter its around 4 euros, in summer around 5-6 euros but including a coffee or tea (the other café´s close by charge 3 euros just for a coffee or tea) Also the dish of the day at around 10 euros is great value, they do a great tuna pate to start, then the main dish then a small sweet, I think you get a drink thrown in as well ! At night time it changes into a more upmarket restaurant, with prices similar to the other restaurants on the Vilamoura Marina but all very nice. The view over the Marina from the outside terrace is fantastic and a great place to sit and while the hours away whilst sipping an ice cool beer, actually I think I may pop down there this afternoon !! Dont miss it

Top class restaurant. Have visited the News Restaurant on many occasions and never been disappointed. Try the Chateaubriand. Best steak I have had in a long time.

Only stopped off here for a drink and milkshake during the day so I can't comment much on the food, other that the menu selection looked good and the prices fairly reasonable. One minor annoyance was the waitress(possibly the owner) was quiet obviously annoyed when we didn't order food (this was between meals at 4pm, place was 3/4 empty), and we were basically ignored after our drinks were brought down.
