Lionel runs a cracking bar. Great snacks and a really laid back atmosphere too. Been here over four or five holidays now. Top drawer.

Great little bar in the apartment complex. They sell draft superbock for 1 euro fir half litre. Also cider on tap and bottled along with bottled beer. If you're stopping at the apartments good start to the night. Could be out the way if not stopping nearby.

Very well run food & drink establishment where English is spoken. You'll leave with the realisiation that we're really not competitively priced in Ireland. Chill Out Bar has free wifi and 3 people will leave full for under 20euros.

Cheap but really cheerful.This bar cannot be beaten for value and excellent service.If you are on a budget this is a must visit.

We return every year - there's a great atmosphere (down to host, his wife & staff) & as for the cost of drinks - don't think you can find a G & T anywhere else in the Algarve for €2 & a Beer for €1. Food is home cooked quality - nothing fancy here.

Beer is a good price at €1 per glass. Avoid the cheap spirits though as you will suffer a terrible hangover. Don't know anything about the food but was told the toasties are good.

A real wee gem in Alvor where food (albeit basic) and drink is very reasonable and the atmosphere is just what the name says. Don't pass it by.

The big Toasties are amazing and €1 pints to wash them down, great spot to chill during the day and Lionel the owner is a legend with a great sense of humour

Very friendly family owned bar. The owner Lionel treats everyone as a friend. We have been coming to Alvor and chill out bar every year for the past 12 years and the cost of a large beer has never changed one Euro. What has changed is the selection of food available. Again prices very reasonable. Try it for a snack, lunch or informal dinner.

Great place. The Portugese owner Lionel is a great guy with an awesome sense of humour. Here u get a large beer for 1 euro, any spirit and mixer for 2 euro as well as sncks like large toasties from 3 euro. If your ever in Alvor u MUST visit the Chill out bar.

In the center of Alvor Portugal this bar lives up to its name and with San Miguel at 1 Euro a pint you can't go wrong ! Lionel always there to look after you . Mabes and David from York .

This is the best bar in alvor 1 euro for a large beer excellent food at very competitive prices Lionel the owner is a real character and makes everyone feel welcome along with his wife they make a great team.

Chill out bar is a relaxed and friendly bar with great prices for quality drinks. San Miguel for 1 Euro a pint. What more do you want. Maybe the poor reviewers didn't get Lionels sense of humor.

Very poor service. Waited 20 minutes to be served despite there only being 3 tables occupied. Found the staff drinking and talking at the bar. They didn't appear even slightly bothered when we said we were leaving. (Still not having been served).

Great value drinks, especially beer and cocktails. Food options limited to English type foods, so loses 5th star from me, but we go there for drinks. Friendly owners.

We've been coming to Alvor for the last 3 years now. We always go to the Chill out bar in Alvor, Lionel always make us feel welcome with his friendly banter, good food and cheap beer. I would recommend stopping by if your in Alvor.
