No desconfinamento, na abertura dos espaços hoteleiros, eu e a minha mulher resolvemos ir passar um fds a este mágico hotel, sempre com um pé atrás em relação à higiene e desinfecção do espaço directo e envolvente, mas toda a limpeza surpreendente, desde os quartos até ao serviço prestado, incluindo o restaurante. Alcool-gel por toda a parte. Os colaboradores muito atenciosos, sempre de máscara e prontos para que nos sentissemos em casa. Tivemos o prazer de conhecer o Senhor Director que nos abraçou de uma forma muito simpatica e interessante. Fico contente que estes locais, façam tudo para receber os seus e os que de certa forma tentam ajudar este meio tao afectado. Com certeza voltaremos em breve e recomendo vivamente, para quem não conhece e para quem quer fugir e relaxar, uma estadia de 2 noites, num paraiso no coração do Douro onde, acima de tudo, preza pelo bem estar e segurança de quem os visita. Muito obrigado.

The great thing is the location, directly at the river with great views, and the pool is amazing with great facilities, the rooms are okay, clean and great views but a bit outdated. The staff although is very strange and the service is just not on the level of a 4 star hotel. The restaurant also has great views and the food is good - not the best but good - but again the staff is very strange.

After eating the chicken pasta at the hotel restaurant I had horrible food poisoning for days. The chicken tasted as though it had been reheated from days prior. We were forced to book our room for an extra night because I literally could not move from the bed without becoming violently sick. We notified the manager who said he would inspect the food, but we did not hear anything back. The hotel only offered us a cup of tea as compensation for the terrible experience. Pinhao is a beautiful town, but I would recommend staying at the LBV House Hotel over this place. Definitely do not eat at the restaurant.

Stayed here in early Nov 2017 in the beginning of the off season. This place is absolutely beautiful, with rooms overlooking the river and surround valley and quiet, beautiful grounds. I proposed here by the pool and we celebrated with a fantastic meal at their Rabelo restaurant. The rooms were very clean if slightly dated, but full of proper amenities and with a gorgeous bathroom, balcony, and space. Our next time around we'll be sure to book more than 2 nights.

Hotel espetacular, café da manhã fantástico e a beira do rio. Os quartos são espaçosos, com banheira e varanda. O serviço é atencioso e o acesso é fácil. Não recomendo para jovens viajando sozinhos. O hotel é perfeito para famílias e casais!

É um hotel que cumpre exemplarmente com a sua classificação de cinco estrelas, tem poucos quartos para o espaço que ocupa (para mim é uma grande virtude) a localização é única: está na margem do rio Douro em frente ao ancoradouro dos barcos de cruzeiro e ao lado das quintas mais emblemáticas. Alguns pormenores merecem uma renovação (o ar condicionado ou a casa de banho), o atendimento foi muito competente e atencioso. Notou-se a vontade de personalizar o tratamento dado a cada hóspede. Voltarei sempre que puder e a carteira me permitir :)

조식타임때 서빙했던 직원 felipe가 너무 친절해서 더더욱 좋았습니다.
Porto에 있는 yeatman 호텔과 비교될 정도로 최고의 호텔이라고 생각하고 있었는데, 알고보니 yeatsman 호텔하고 같은 체인입니다.
Fladgate 그룹은 taylor를 비롯한 4개의 포트와인 브랜드와 3개의 5성급 호텔을 보유하고 있는데 모두 각자의 특별함과 이야기가 있습니다.
300년전에 이 곳은 포트와인을 보관하던 곳이었고 20년 전에 호텔로 개조를 했죠.
레스토랑은 미리 리셉션에서 예약을 해야하구요, 저는 라자냐와 파스타 그리고 "2015 vertente" 와인을 시켰는데요, 1인 식사 가격이 60유로 나왔습니다.
간단한 에피타이저에 메인메뉴 한가지만 시킨다면 1인당 30유로 정도면 먹을 수 있습니다.

Hotel muito bom com ambiente calmo mesmo junto ao rio Douro com boa paisagem. A piscina fica um afastada dos quartos que ê um pouco desagradável. O staff é muito profissional e atencioso. O pequeno almoço é muito bom e também tem esplanada com vista para o rio.

Expectativas elevadas para um local que se esperava elegante, clássico e com serviço de excelência.
Contudo as expectativas estavam demasiado elevadas e no geral não recomendamos esta estadia nem regressaremos.
A limpeza do quarto necessita de um grande cuidado.
A cama é muito pouco confortável e obriga o casal a dormir separado.
Na varanda só existe uma cadeira para apreciar a vista e está muito suja.
O portão de acesso ao exterior está avariado obrigando o hóspede a percorrer o percurso debaixo da ponte e entrar pelo parque de viaturas para regressar ao hotel, o que se torna desagradável à noite.
O serviço de pequeno-almoço é simples, com pouco cuidado, fruta cortada grosseiramente, flores velhas e sem cuidado nas mesas, pétalas de rosa artificiais de outros eventos nas paredes e tectos e nota muito negativa para o sumo natural que não é feito no momento nem no próprio dia, sendo conservado vários dias - conforme indicou o staff quando questionado.
No global tem falhas graves ao nível da limpeza e serviço de pequeno-almoço que não me permitem considerar um hotel 5 estrelas.
Nota muito positiva para o atendimento da recepção à chegada, em particular o senhor Sérgio que foi muito prestável e cuidadoso, e que representou o serviço que conhecemos do The Yeatman.

What a good idea this hotel was. A beautiful hotel.The choice got us out into the vineyards and onto the river with everything so easy to organize. The hotel itself is cosy, relaxing and soothing.The surroundings magnificent. We visited just before Xmas and experienced fantastic value for money.

Fabulous resort.We had a balcony suite overlooking the river & Vieyards.Conveniantly located & you can walk to the resort from the train station.Food was awesome.Also you can walk to one of the best winery.Recommend very highly.Will certainly come back.

Hotel de requinte com umas vistas lindissimas sobre as encostas do Douro Vinhateiro, todo o Staff q trabalha no Hotel com uma simpatia tremenda e sempre disponiveis para qualquer tipo de ajuda.
Recomendo para quem queira relaxar e passear por toda aquela Zona do País.

- Hormis une demoiselle le reste du personnel semblait très amateur à la réception...
-- Des commandes oubliées à la piscine...
--- Etre refusé au restaurant alors que nous séjournions a l'hôtel un dimanche soir !! (et autant vous dire qu'il n'y rien d'autre d'ouvert a Pinhão après 20h30 les dimanches...)
Ce même soir après quelques tapas au bar, nous avons discuté avec le responsable du restaurant qui a magnifiquement rattrapé ce couac le lendemain pour notre dernier dîner.
Un grand merci à lui sans quoi nous n'aurions pu recommander cet établissement.

Our stay here was really quite nice. Only was here for a single night but enjoyed it. The room was spacious and the bathroom very clean. Bed was comfortable. The pool was perfect with a nice garden to the side, lined with hammocks. The bar and sitting area inside was decorated beautifully and the bartender made an excellent pair of port tonics.
The restaurant was fantastic, but was trying to be a bit much in our opinion. Some of the dishes were ingredient-heavy. Everything was really tasty though and the service excellent - I'm really being nitpicky here.
If they fine-tuned this restaurant, this could almost be a gastronomic destination. The location is just amazing.

One of the most beautiful hotels I ever visited. Everything (breakfast, rooms, pool, service, ...) is very good, but the location and the view are what really make this hotel stand out. It is based in an old Port house and has a magnificent view on the valley. Book early and enjoy a great experience for a very nice price.

First, I must say that this review is tempered by the fact that it rained the entire time we were in Portugal and the Douro River was not only flooding, but flooding into the Hotel.The Vintage House is well located in the heart of the Douro Valley surrounded by Quintas making both Port and dry wines. While the town of Pinhao is nothing to write home about, the hotel itself is lovely with beautiful gardens a lovely pool and huge balconies overlooking the river. Unfortunately due to the monsoon we could not use any of them.The rooms are well appointed and designed, and while the hotel is a bit awkward in that it stretches across multiple buildings, it is easy to navigate once you get used to it. Housekeeping was efficient and the rooms were immaculate.Where the Vintage House fell was in terms of service. There were some really annoying things that did not have to happen. First, the hotel is right next to the train station, but it is difficult to find the entrance that is actually right on the platform. Thus a 5 euro cab ride to go three blocks. Simply providing directions upon booking could fix this. Also, the hotel makes one sign out umbrellas with the threat of a 50 euro charge if they are not returned. What 5 star hotel does not provide umbrellas? At breakfast, there is a buffet, but for some reason (and they make this very clear) you have to pay additional for eggs. Finally there were just 3 rooms booked when we were there. How about an upgrade?

Tivemos uma má experiência em Abril de 2016.Fomos roubados no hotel enquanto jantavamos. Quando chegámos ao quarto depois do jantar, vimos que nos tinham roubado a máquina de filmar. Fomos à recepção que estava fechada a cadeado. O telefone do quarto não funcionava. Corri com o meu marido todos os corredores do hotel. Não se via ninguém. Empregados nem vê -los. No dia seguinte falamos com um encarregado, que estava no hotel há 1 mês, e que se prontificou a dar uma máquina de filmar e iria investigar o roubo com o pessoal. Depois deste facto a estadia já estava estragada.
Foi pena a situação do roubo.
O HOTEL merece boas críticas. Bem situado, tudo fabuloso.

Great place to stay if you are visiting the Duoro valley. Friendly staff and good overall service.
Shower are a bit small and the shower head is also way to small for the high water pressure.
They have to many carpets that's not in good condition anymore.

Wenn Douro-Tal ein der schönsten Gegenden in Europa ist, ist Pinhão das Juwel der Krone. Der Sicht des Hotels zum Douro ist atemberaubend! Das Zimmer ist sehr bequem und die Erfahrung insgesamt war sehr gut. Der Service war OK, könnte aber besser sein.

This is a gorgeous hotel in tiny Pinhão. The rooms are nice & decent sized. The pool area is clean & inviting. The view over the river is spectacular! This was a nice, relaxing 2 days in the middle of our Portugal trip. Would recommend to anybody.

Lovely hotel perfectly located in Pinhao near the train station and within walking distance of a number of excellent wine houses. Staff are also incredibly helpful. The one slight negative is the dinner did not quite live up to the rest of the hotels excellence (would have been 5 star otherwise)

Viemos com a intenção de conhecer o hotel e por isso aproveitamos para tomar um café e aproveitar a paisagem mas foi uma desgraça. Fiquei desiludido com o café e o serviço que me foi apresentado o staff não foi o mais simpático e para o preço, tanto o sabor do café como a apresentação eram desperzaveis.
Não voltarei devido a forma como me trataram e aconselho os outros a seguir o meu exemplo por que apesar da beleza do local o tratamento que recebemos foi vergonhoso

Your paying for the location - the hotel is lovely from the outside and a very historical building - the common areas are nice in keeping with the tradition however the rooms are very tired looking and need a little bit of a facelift - I would go again but for the location only and have my expectations set accordingly

Mais quel superbe endroit à découvrir. Cet hotel est un havre de paix, tout est à la hauteur. La piscine est splendide au calme, la vie de la chambre est tout simplement sensationnelle sur le Douro. C'est un plaisir de se lever tous les matins dans cet endroit. Et que dire du petit dejeuner je n'ai jamais goute un aussi bol petit dejeuner, raffiné avec des ingrédients de qualité: Les fruits étaient fous!!! J'y retournerai avec plaisir !!!

Went there for lunch as it seemed the best choice for Pinhão. Food was ok but a bit over pretentious and outdated; very 90-s with foam on every other dish etc. If just for the food it would’ve been a 3 star rating.
Service during lunch was poor but that’s ok if they try, which they did. Young and inexperienced staff is ok as long as they try.
However, after lunch we took a walk in the hotel garden and was approached by a member of staff who addressed us in a very rude manner not once but repeatedly. Completely unacceptable. Even our kids picked up the rude, aggressive manner. Also, he didn’t seem to understand English too well at all which should certainly be a requirement in a 5-star international hotel. Stay away from this hotel.

Mención aparte merece el cualificado personal, son de 10. Encantador y amable el camarero del Pequeno almoco, el Sr. Filipe. Y la comida y vinos, muy bien. Recomendable a todos los efectos.

The Vintage House Douro is lovely. It is the former villa of the Taylor port wine family. The views are very nice.
The restaurant is terrible! Terrible! My wife got food poisoning from her pasta. She was violently ill overnight. She was unable to eat for two days. Her food poisoning ruined the end of our vacation to Portugal.

Les balcons donnent sur une vue du Douro qui est extraordinaire. Le personnel est toujours prêt à aider. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux : jus d’orange frais, saumon fumé, bacon, confitures de qualité, etc. Le seul défaut est le Wi-fi qui débarque constamment, ce qui oblige à s’inscrire de nouveau à toutes les 15 minutes. Well located in Douro valley with beautifully lobby. Room has great view of Douro river and valley, nice to sit out under the sun. Classic charming interior with comfortable furnitures. Staffs are very professional and friendly....Staffs were attentive with willingness to solve the problem...every efforts were made to solve the problems..giving extra star for staffs services. Simple breakfast was simple and convenient.

I dont see how anyone could give this hotel less than a perfect score. It is pricey but worth the expense. I see that most bad reviews criticize the restaurant. We did not plan to eat there since we were spending so much on the room (and renting an apartment in Porto at the same time), and the reviews we read were bad. I was a bit surprised that one reviewer actually did not like the river-front room she was assigned. I loved our river-front room and regretted not having any time to spend enjoying our terrace. The staff we encountered were most welcoming, and the included breakfast was amazing. Our room was pretty spacious, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The decor was beautiful and old-fashioned, and the bathroom was spectacular (though I never did figure out how to get water to come out of the shower heads). The towels were very plush, and one gets a face cloth, which is unusual in a European hotel. Upon arrival, I realized that I had left my umbrella at the restaurant where we had lunch, and when I returned, my husband was enjoying a complimentary glass of port in the comfortable lobby. I was searching for a budget hotel for our one night in Pinhao, and there are some, but getting to them involves a walk or drive uphill. The Vintage Hotel is right next to the train station, so it makes perfect sense for those arriving by train. I would really hope to stay at the Vintage Hotel again someday -- perhaps 2 nights to enjoy more Douro scenery and hotel luxury.

We had a delightful stay at the Vintage House. Idyllic location, beautiful hotel, wonderful service and staff. Marta and Raul at the front desk went out of their way to answer questions, give recommendations, and help us in every way. Wonderful to wake up with view of river. Will certainly stay here again.

This old world charm hotel is lovely. Was sorry I couldnt stay longer and use their lovely swimming pool! Wonderful setting on the Douro. Convenient Port tasting next door at Bom Fim. This place is very upscale, could be a bit stuffy were it not for the fact that the staff was so charming. Also pricey, but really a brilliant setting in Pinhão!

This place is amazing. Spectacular view of the river valley. (The hotel is perched two thirds of the way up the side of the valley.) Great place for hiking (though need to be in good health -- the "ups" are really up). The owner is very friendly and helpful. The drive up to the hotel is a bit hair raising, but safe and well worth the climb.

I wanted to give this hotel three stars, because the decor is perfect for a senior citizens home and the staff all seem to still be in training to learn how to properly welcome guests and prepare a guest room. But the setting and the grounds are so beautiful, that I think four stars is almost reasonable. And the comfort of the bed and bed linens is excellent.

O Vintage House é Hotel absolutamente fantástico com uma política de acolhimento muito acima da média, num encanto de espaço e área envolvente. Ainda e para quem aprecia, está decorado com um gosto irrepreensível.
Recomendo, sobretudo o restaurante com um excelente serviço, para não falar dos doces deliciosos.
Sem duvida a repetir pela altura da primavera pois as cores do outono não permitem desfrutar do enquadramento absolutamente espectacular do Douro Vinhateiro.
A quem visitar o Douro, não deixe de conhecer o Hotel!

Der Aufenthalt im CS Vintage House Hotel empfanden wir als sehr angenehem. Das Essen war lecker, das Personal freundlich und die Hotelanlage sehr grosszügig und schön. Das Zimmer, welches zur Flussseite hin einen kleinen Balkon hatte, war sehr geräumig inkl. TV, Minibar etc. Einzig der defekte Wasserhan inkl. der gebrochenen Fliese beim Lavabo war ein wenig störend. Die Anlage und das Zimmer waren sauber und der Pool und die Liegen sehr schön.

Great Views, Wonderful Service, Relaxing Stay
After a long journey from Lisbon we were warmly welcomed by the staff and offered a delicious glass of port (inexpensive and can be bought in the Wine Shop).
Upon arriving to our rooms we noticed the considerable size of the bed, great for the two of us and our 2 year-old, and the spectacular views over the Douro river and surrounding vineyards from our balcony.
A great size bath tub which was fantastic for our little one who loved splashing about in it a lot!
The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of goodies and fresh fruit juice. We did not try the Hotel restaurant due to the prices being too much for us.
The service during our stay was of an excellent standard and we always found all hotel staff to be positive, polite and helpful.
Just a suggestion - bring your own corkscrew! and try to get either on the 1st or 2nd level so that you have a view from your balcony.

Magique! Nous sommes arrivés par bateau croisiere dune journée sur le Douro, lhôtel est à 2 pas de lembarcadère. Un jardin agréable, une chambre spacieuse avec terrasse et vue sur le fleuve Douro et les coteaux de vignes.Laccueil, le service, la gentillesse, le sourire du personnel permet de passer un séjour des plus agréables. Un grand petit déjeuner en terrasse, copieux et varié, appelle à passer une journée à lhôtel au bord de la piscine et profiter de lhôtel, ou de prendre le train (accès direct à la petite gare de Pinaho pour rejoindre Pocinho le long du Douro.Le bémol est le restaurant, si le cadre extérieur est superbe, les repas ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce que nous pouvons attendre de la cuisine portugaise, la sophistication fait perdre lauthenticité.. Quel dommage!!! Mais le verre de porto améliore cette déception.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super schön, direkt am Fluss Douro gelegen und inmitten der Weinberge. Das Hotel hat sehr viel Charme. Die Frühstücksterrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss und die Berge ist ein Traum. Das Frühstück selber ist ebenfalls sehr gut (Filterkaffee, frisches Obst, Käse, Wurst, Schinken, frisch gepressten O-Saft, Rührei und sogar Sekt), in Portugal sonst ja eher untypisch. Es stimmt, dass die Zimmer inkl. Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind und hier Teppich etc. mal renoviert werden könnten. Entspricht nicht einem 5-Sterne-Standard, dafür entschädigt aber der Blick vom Balkon der Zimmer, die alle zum Fluss hin ausgerichtet sind. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht genutzt, da wir die Speisen und Getränke im Verhältnis zu den anderen Restaurants vor Ort sehr teuer fanden. Der Pool hätte auch sauberer sein können, ansonsten ist er sehr schön gelegen und man kann dort herrlich entspannen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Service sehr gut. Wir bekamen sogar noch eine Flasche Sekt extra aufs Zimmer, da mein Freund während unseres Aufenhalts Geburtstag hatte. Sehr nette Geeste und heutzutage leider auch nicht mehr selbstverständlich in den Hotels. Da wir schönes Wetter hatten, haben wir die Aufenthaltsräume des Hotels nicht weiter genutzt. Diese fanden wir allerdings auch etwas sehr plüschig eingerichtet und ziemlich düster; auch wenn die Antiquitäten und Bilder ansonsten sehr schön sind, aber ein Update wie z.B. im Stil des Frühstückraumes wäre schon mal nötig
