Ambiente muito bom, musica muito bem selecionada, carta de vinhos muito boa ( surpresa pois não tem muitos rótulos d ed Portugual), carne espetacular!

Simply amazing, must visit. I had a Fillet Mick had Serlion both cooked exactly as requested, Well Done and Medium Rare. The best tasting Steak we have ever tasted.

We went to the wolf for a valentines dinner and as usual the staff were very attentive and efficient, also as usual the food was cooked to perfection and served quickly. We have never had a bad meal there. Their steaks are delicious and I would love the recipe for their steak onion sauce. I would recommend that you try it for yourselves. Enjoy

Prijs kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Diepvries groenten. Niet alles leverbaar. Worteltjes waren op. Onvolledig bestek. Arrogant personeel. Wel aandacht voor vaste klanten doch niet voor nieuwe. Kwaliteit vlees uitstekend. Crème brulee prima. We gaan niet meer terug en vinden dit geen aanrader.

Waarschijnlijk het beste restaurantje van Feragudo. Altijd reserveren vooraf en bereid je voor op een berg lekker gebakken vlees. Beslist een aanrader.

Excelente restaurante si eres amante de la buena carne, ya sea Argentina o local.
Buena selección de cortes para todos los gustos.
Magnífica elaboración del punto de la carne.
Extensa variedad de vinos locales e internacionales.
Se recomienda reservar con antelación, ya que se suele abarrotar, sobre todo a la hora de la cena.
Buen servicio y atención por parte de todo el personal.

An okay themed offering on the outskirts of town. The quality of the food makes up for the location to a degree, and a premium steak and burger restaurant is an interesting addition to the town. The desserts were excellent.

Vlees lekker maar niet naar de normen van een op en top grill restaurant. Prijzig voor datgene wat je op je bord krijgt. 1/4e tomaat en 1 blaadje rucola sla verlebt als garnituur. Alles moet er snel vooruit gaan. Je wordt er nagenoeg buitengekeken.

Après une très bonne expérience il y a trois ans, j'avais hâte de revenir y dîner mais j'ai été déçu... Le monsieur au téléphone n'était pas particulièrement aimable (pour info, réservation quasi obligatoire en août) et, en arrivant à 22h comme conseillé, le serveur nous dit pas de table et nous pousse au bar pour boire un verre mais j'en vois et lui dit et, magie, il veut bien nous la préparer... Une fois assis ça a été un festival : plus de grandes bouteilles d'eau disponibles (en plein août et canicule le stock est pas prévu ?! Surtout que c'est ouvert jusque 1h du matin !) on écope d'un format 25cl facturé comme une grande sur la note (j'ai été obligé de leur dire et, au passage le serveur pouvait faire un geste commercial et en ramener deux petites, il faisait 35 degrés tout de même), le seul vin au verre dispo est celui de la maison (pourquoi pas à la rigueur) mais il était carrément chaud... Pour les viandes (bonnes, il faut le dire) tout est en supplément l'accompagnement et les sauces mais pour les sauces le serveur ne demande pas si on en veut et j'ai passé 10mns à lui faire signe. Les desserts aussi étaient bons. Expérience très mitigée...

Overall the food was good but OVERPRICED. Not good value for money. The steak was perfect, but the sides are charged separately and very small portions. We spent 60 euros for 2 filet steaks, 2 small sides and 1 beer. We left hungry...feeling a bit cheated.

Hier draait alles om rundvlees, te kiezen in verschillende kwaliteiten, van Argentijns tot USDA prime beef. Prima gegrilled op de josper grill en erbij simpele groene salade en gegrilde zoete aardappel.

I love the wolf bar and grill. Everytime we visit we are greeted with friendly happy staff. Great food, yes a little bit pricey but it's one of the best. Great wines and spirits. Great atmosphere and we will keep going back as long as the Irish owners own it xx

El sitio chulo decorado, carta muy muy justo y muy cara. “Me tome” una carne que estaba mala, lo dije y me la retiraron, pero después venia en la cuenta. Poco profesionales y el servicio poco atento. No lo recomiendo.

Lovely food, got the fillet steak with spinach and mashed potatoes, very tasty.
Pricey though so I expected the food to be good, would recommend the restaurant just be prepared for a more expensive meal than the rest of the restaurants in town.

Can't think of words to describe this place, only one serving staff had to find our own table, sat waiting for 20 minutes no one came to get a drinks order or food order, got up and left. Will not be going back

What a disappointment, shown to a table and left there, sat waiting for 20 minutes and not offered a drink, one waiting staff on, I shall not return and would highly recommend that people find somewhere else to eat so as not to be left hungry like myself

Good atmosphere, professional staff, good food. Originally wanted to eat at the burger restaurant and did not realize, that burgers are served on the second floor and steaks on the ground floor.
Steaks were good. Will visit the burger part of the restaurant next time

At the first glance, looks like the kind of restaurant where they invested more in decoration than in the rest. Quite the opposite.... food is AMAZING, staff is AMAZING, speed is AMAZING. That's it, totally worth it

After being accommodated with a lovely table outside despite not having a reservation and the place being practically booked out, we were introduced to our waiter, Pedro. He was the best we had during our entire Portugal holiday (even sprinting up the street after us when I forgot my credit card). He also organised a couple of complimentary glasses of Medronho for us after our meal, purely out of national pride. Our chateaubriand was slightly overcooked and a bit tough, so I can't give the full 5 stars, but really everything else, from the sides, the amazingly good value Lua Cheia house red , the scrumptious desserts, right down to the special Algarve coffee, was top notch. If it wasn't our list night in Portugal, we'd head back in a heartbeat.

La atención a la entrada fue tan horrorosa que nos fuimos directamente. El camarero que nos atendió nos preguntó que queríamos comer antes de sentarnos. Al decirnos que hamburguesa nos envío por la puerta trasera sin ofrecernos la carta. Muy poca profesionalidad y un cliente perdido.

Excellent food. Quality meat, even on the kids menu. The desserts were incredible- Wolf lime pie is delicious. Make a reservation early because it gets booked up quickly. Reasonable prices. A three course meal for two adults and one child with a bottle of wine will cost you in the region of 120 Euros

We just rocked up to this place as the reviews were good,and we had been sitting across the road having a drink. When we arrived we were asked did we have a reservation which we didn't. The guy proceeded to shake his head for the next few mins and then said we could eat there but it would b a short stay, we were given 1hr and 15mins which was fine. Our seats were very comfy and we got seated at the window. We both got steaks which wer cooked as requested our sides were nice also but nothing fantastic. However I would recommend going here and make of it as you wish as every pallet is different.

Während unseres Urlaubs sind wir hier eingekehrt. Wir hatten nicht vorbestellt, aber trotzdem einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war zwar freundlich, aber machte einen gehetzten Eindruck. Alles musste schnell gehen, die Bestellung der Getränke, des Essens usw. Man hatte keine Zeit in Ruhe die Karte zu lesen. Wir bestellten Chateaubriand für 2 Personen mit der Frage wieviel Gramm das Fleisch hat. Darauf wurde ausweichend geantwortet, dass es halt für 2 Personen entsprechend ist. Es kam leider wie es kommen musste....das Fleisch hatte vielleicht 300 Gramm für 2 Personen! Wenigstens war der Wein ok. Unser Fazit: da man nicht von einem gemütlichem Abendessen sprechen kann weil wir so schnell drin wie wieder draußen waren und das Gericht in keiner Weise dem gehobenen Preis entsprach, waren wir einmal und nie wieder hier essen.

Wir waren hier sehr enttäuscht.
Ziel war es, Burger zu essen.
Als wir ankamen haben wie auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen.
Am Tisch wurden die Karten verteilt und sofort der Getränkewunsch aufgenommen.
Danach haben wie die Karte gelesen, es gab nur Steaks.
Als dann die Getränke gebracht wurden, haben wir nach den Burgern gefragt.
Die gibt es nur oben und das sei ein vollkommen unabhängiges Restaurant.
Okay, enttäuschend aber akzeptiert.
Dann haben wir bestellt und mein Frau wurde zu ihrem Steak auf ein "Upgrade" hingewiesen (intensiverer Geschmack und Pommes und Salat). Intensiver war der Geschmack - stumpf verbrannter, sehr überschaubare Menge an Pommes und Salat.
Ich hatte dann nur ein Steak "medium" - an zwei Stellen passte das auch.
Fazit: Ziel waren die Burger, kein Hinweis beim Restaurant, dass das ein anderer Betrieb ist. Auf den Punkt gebracht ist das ein echter Nepp.
Das war unser teuerstes und unzufrieden stellendes Essen in diesem Urlaub.

Desta vez, após reservar para as 21:30 a gerência tomou a decisão de nos contactar (as 19:45) a indicar que a nossa reserva seria cancelada porque a reserva anterior se iria atrasar e não poderia chegar na hora da reserva. Nao foi tentada nenhuma solucao. Não foi pedido para trocar a reserva. Nada. Mas acima de tudo foi só triste ver um restaurante tão bom tornar-se tão mau.

Um bife divinal, volto sempre que vou ao Algarve. Infelizmente tive de alterar a pontuação por uma situação muito desagradável em julho 2019. Fiz uma marcação para as 09h30 e em cima da hora avisaram-me que não era possível nos atenderem porque a marcação anterior iria atrasar-se uma hora!!! Não teria sido mais fácil dizer ás pessoas que iam falhar a marcação que não seria possível serem atendidos, e não prejudicar os cumpridores ???

Wolf offers something a little bit different from the rest of what's on offer in Carvoeiro, great service as always, nice interior (roller chairs are a unique feature!) The food is very good with a few unique creations on the menu. One of the go to options in Carvoeiro.

We walked past this place the first couple of nights as it resembles a few ‘chain’ restaurants we have back home that are a bit rubbish. Second last night I had a craving for steak so convinced the better half to give it a try and man were we happy we did! Delicious steaks and sides, great wine selection and the service was even better. (Although would of been nice to see a few female staff). The waiter was even kind enough to show me the kitchen where all the magic happens and explain the cooking process. Prices are good value for what you get.

The food is quite good, great quality meat and food is well cooked, just missing a welcoming and attentive service , waiters work well but the overall atmosphere and welcomess isn't the best, it's a shame since this place has the potential to be the best place in Carvoeiro. The food will make me come back not the service.

Had an amazing meal here on Tuesday that we are going back for our last night. Booking is a must if you want to get in as they are extremely busy. The waiter we had was fantastic, recommended wine that was not on the list and helped with the choice of steak. Can't wait for my steak tonight.

Me and my boyfriend have been to Carvoeiro a handful of times and each time we save this restaurant for our last night.
We have never been disappointed truly lovely staff who are helpful and the food is perfect.

Best place for Steaks in town! The staff is so nice and courteous. We‘ve been here twice and the food was both times absolutely fantastic. Not cheap compared to other restautants in town but absolutely worth the money. For the best atmosphere sit outside beside the pond. Full recommendation!

We dinned here 3 times, over all very good apart from they forgot the sauces for the steaks. By the time they arrived the steaks were cold. They manager was called and looked disinterested until I told him I wouldn't be paying for the starters and wine if the steaks were not replaced. He reluctantly agreed and when the meals were replaced we were happy. When your paying 30 euro for steak and chips it's got to be right.

Best place to eat. The food and drinks were amazing you really do pay for the quality! Best steak me and my girlfriend have ever had true was amazing. Would recommend the expresso martini. Plus the house wine was superb. Just go and eat and enjoy!

Fairly expensive compared to other restaurants. Sides must be ordered separately.
Burger lounge and grill restaurant are separate. So you can't order a burger if your eating in the restaurant downstairs.

Kwaliteit van het eten prima, echter prijs kwaliteit verhouding ver te zoeken. Frietjes, salade, aardappel gratin moet je apart bestellen, dit wordt extra berekend op een gemiddelde hoofdgerecht prijs van ongeveer € 23,-
Dit maakt de prijs voor deze regio aan de hoge kant, zeker als je een grote eter bent. Lokatie en inrichting top.

This resturant is a must when visiting the algarve for anyone who enjoys fillet steak. it is as good as you will get anywhere. When the waiter told me it was irish fillet I could see why. Service excellent and friendly.

Steak was tasty, cooked to the proper temp but the meat is not aged. The rack of lamb portion was generous but the sides were small. Two of the six rosés were not available.

Mala experiencia con este restaurante. Entramos y al no saber si teníamos que esperar a ser atendidos, ninguno de los camareros (al menos había 4 o 5) se dignaron a acercarse para preguntar.
Una vez nos sentamos, más o menos nos atendieron bien, pero ya al pedir solo dos entrantes nos miraron raro, cómo que esperaban que pudiésemos más. La comida estaba buena, pero el pedir la cuenta fue un suplicio. No nos atendían y cuando conseguimos llamar la atención de uno de los camareros, le pedimos la cuenta y como que paso de nosotros, ya que después de 15 minutos le tuvimos que pedir la cuenta de nuevo a una de las camareras.

BEST PLACE IN CARVOEIRO. We stayed 5 nights in Carvoeiro and we eat at the Wolf in 3 of them. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was always helpful, friendly and smiling which counts as much as the food quality. Live music can be heard is some nights. The Angus rib eye is one of the best I eat, but also are the prawns or the lamb. Beware that in full season can be crowded so reservation may be helpful.
