Have been going here for years. Staff always very friendly. A good choice on the menu and food always good.

Food and staff were allways good, one thing, it got busy when football was on the tv's, sometimes the sound was loud, but overall it was a very good night out

Pretty poor food went yesterday had a mix grill wasn't great staek was soft but bland the pork sausage was cheep and the pork chop was hard and horrible. The dressing on the salad was horrible didn't get asked if we wanted it and the salad was bland. Probably wouldn't go again.

Great value delicious British grub. Lots of family friendly activities during the day like parrot and reptile shows! Just what you need to keep the kids happy while Dad watches the football...

I was a bit sceptical from the outside. It was recommended to us. Have to say the food was lovely, and good value for money. It's a very clean place.

Loved it here. Came xmas eve and took part in the quiz with my family. Had a giggle. Won a bottle of Bacardi!! Nice staff. I will be back in the future...

This was the number one place I wanted to visit and hyped it up so much, saved directions and all but only to arrive under the lashing rain CLOSED. I even checked before leaving the hotel and it says open, so would be nice to have proper times especially when you're a pregnant woman with a toddler trying to get something to eat. We ended up on the Strip which had more selections of restaurants with quality breakfasts and very cheap for €5-6.

Had food in this place and found a live larvae wriggling on my salad, hence I ate no more when I found it. Staff asked if my food was okay and when I showed them the live larvae she said at least it was fresh and she would tell the chef. No apology and no offer of a discount. Made me feel sick!

Reasonable prices for everything, they have a balcony and a pool. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you want to watch a game.

Fat Cats is a nice place for food, drinks and entertainment. Staff are friendly too!!! They also offer an airport transfer/taxi service which is very reasonable and reliable

A Hidden Gem
The sign says Family Fun Pub, but it is so much more!
We sampled their delicious breakfasts, light snacks and tasty meals, which were always well presented and served up with a smile by the helpfull, friendly staff.
Something for everyone here, from live sports, Karaoke and quizzes not forgetting the parrot and reptile shows for the kids.
There is also a fantastic terrace at the rear, where you can enjoy the sunshine,with an ice cold beer and maybe have a dip in the pool.
Search out this hidden gem of a bar and enjoy the friendly atmosphere!

Was by far the best bar we found during our stay , had a lovely meal and a fun night taking part in the Quiz (the Quizmaster needs to double check his answers though ...3 lions was released in 1996 NOT 1998)

Watched England v Belgium 2018 World Cup had a homemade curry and some beers with the lads. If you go on holiday to Portugal this bar/restaurant is a must.

The first time i went to fat cats was not long after it opened, i had the best time and the staff were amazing. 11 years on and i still visit everytime im in portugal. Great place, friendly reception everytime and a brilliant atmosphere. Food is always spot on too.

Nice well kept bar in good surroundings, and well laid out menu and organized events information. Unfortunately didn't enjoy the Sunday lunch as the beef was very chewy and fatty . Will give it another try out with something else off the menu .

1st visit I had a big English breakfast, fantastic value and was delicious
2nd time we had Dinner, 3x 300gm Steaks, pepper sauce and fries, all 3 of us were stuffed, all n all great food, a very fresh and clean establishment and I would highly recommended

Used to love this family bar, drinks have got pricey now and place needs a spruce up! Seems a bit neglected now. Staff always pleasant and hard working tho. X

Nous sommes arrivés, un groupe de 10, sans réservation vers 21h. Il y avait déjà beaucoup de monde et les employés nous ont fait une table pour nous accomoder. Les service est excellent ainsi que le nourriture. J'ai adoré mes fish ans chips, les frites était très bonnes. Les prix sont plus que correct. J'ai aimé l'ambiance générale du resto.

Thank you for great service open for breakfast till late , we went for tea a mixed grill & fish n chips went out of there way excellent customer service , quizzes live sports pool table karaoke happy hour large beer €1:90 till 7pm modern refurbished with a outside are that is open sides & roof in day & late all closes up fantastic well worth a visit massive thank you

The best bar we've been to in Albufeira. 14 of us. They accommodated all of us for breakfast and an early Rugby match on TV. Food is top notch. Nothing too much trouble. They don't do fast food. They do good food as fast as they can.

Substandard, cold food and served beef chilli up as vegetarian. 3 prawns in prawn curry. Rude, unproffessional staff. Poor customer service. Would not recommend.

We spent quite a few days of our recent holiday to Albuferia here, the staff where brilliant & very helpful. Their pool is great for kids, they also have a wii with plenty of games for older kids to play & a few boxes of toys for smaller kids which is a great idea!! Plenty of large Tv's with sport on and the food in the place is great, the fish & chips with mushy peas is a must try by everyone!! We will definitely be back someday..

Very friendly staff at Fat Cats Bar. Everyone made to feel welcome. Staff can not do enough for you. Ben is always at your beckon call to make sure you enjoy your stay. Absolutely fantastic experience ,the food was excellent staff very informative about what they serve, the price was reasonable the entertainment was first class but the only fault is the state of the toilet sorry but it's a mess does not take much to send someone in every now and again to give it a quick clean

We have been coming to fat cats for 6 years, soon to be 7 in March 2018. It's like coming home to us. Garry, Michelle, joe, Paul, Ben, and all the people we have met over the years that come back every March. Guinness, Colin, to name a few. We just can't wait to be back on the 28 Th.. Of February.

Great bar that offers fantastic Sunday roasts. Specials throughout the week as well as evening entertainment too. Doesn't try to be anything more than a friendly family orientated bar.

I.have been in Albuferia for over 17 years and have used Fatcats.since they opened 9 years ago.staff and owners Gary and Michelle.make everyone feel welcome.I was there with friends Thursday.and the brunch we had was excellent.service friendly and quick.each year I.have noticed ambience improved.w ould highly reccomend to residence and visitors alike.

Great place and good food. Went a few times and the service behind the bar was always great. The bloke that does the quick night was annoying and dragged things out. A Quiz night went on well after 12am after strarting at 10pm. The host didn't seem to have a clue and didn't tell people when buying raffle tickets that they would be there until after midnight. I had two young children at the time and obviously was late for them.

Only reason to visit is to watch live uk sport. Otherwise think Benidorm and the worst of every brits abroad programme you've ever seen.

Very bad service. Because of using my computer, I was asked to leave five minutes after finishing my lunch if I don't order more. And there were a lot of free tables. I spent about 30 minutes at Fat Cat's and I definitely did not feel welcome.

Comida deliciosa y con platos con abundante comida. Tratan genial al cliente y además, cuenta con mesa de billar y distintos juegos con los que poder entretenerte una vez hayas comido. Los cócteles también están geniales y el precio es muy bueno.

Great little British pub in Albufeira. The fish and chips are really good served with a real white fish fillet and a salad in addition to the customary chips (french fries). We tried the beef roast on their Sunday menu. Simply excellent. It was served with Yorkshire pudding and lots of vegetables including creamed leaks which were delightful.
Their Wednesday afternoon games event is fun. This Friday evening we am going to check out their karaoke.
Service is prompt and their prices are reasonable.

Really good home made food. The Sunday roast are amazing. Make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment as they do get busy.
