Very good located and everything in walking distance. Restaurant is top as well. Just make sure you do not take the room nr. 403 since its next to the breakfast-room and where everyone will walk through to go to the garden. In the morning you would hear everyone walking by, esp. the staff early morning preparing the breakfast. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel highly.

Un très bel hôtel en plein coeur de Porto historique. Belle chambre, la notre est spacieuse au 5eme étage. Personnel de l'acceuil très sympathique, bilingue anglais et très bon accueil. Bon à savoir : on règle son séjour à l'enregistrement (à l'arrivée). Pas de parking dans l'hôtel, mais à proximité (150 mètres) et payant - 26 euros les 24 heures. Le 5eme n'est pas accessible par l'ascenseur, il faut monter le dernier étage à pieds, pas de service bagage. L'insonorisation n'est pas une réussite, on entend TOUS les bruits de la rue, en l'occurrence (et nous concernant) un p***** de chanteur qui tourne en boucle - et ce depuis le début de l'après midi - les 3 seules chansons qu'il a à son répertoire... Il est 22h et il a commencé à 16h... Prodigieusement agaçant. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas franchement à la hauteur des lieux.

Etablissement avec beaucoup de charme et idéalement situé dans la ville.Le personnel est aux petits soins pour les clients.

Location: 5 stars. The location was perfect for our 2 days in Porto. We could easily walk down to the water and across the river as well as walking distance to the sights further up the town that we wanted to see. Service: 5 stars. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The concierge gave us great recommendations for meals and took the time to outline a full 2 day itinerary on the map, highlighting everything she suggested we do and see. Room: 4 stars. The room itself was quite nice. We had a great view of the street below. The bathroom was a bit small and the products weren't 5 star. Overall would recommend to anyone visiting Porto.

Ubicación, trato, confort excelentes. Sin duda el personal del hotel ha sido lo mejor. Frente un error nuestro, el hotel dio las máximas facilidades para que no salieramos perdiendo. No todo el mundo está dispuesto a ello. La ubicación, en el centro de los lugares a visitar, es ideal. Desayuno y habitaciones excelentes. Ofrecen servicios gratuitos poco comunes, que hacen la estancia más confortable.

Hotel muy original en el centro de Oporto, todas las habitaciones son Suites y tienen cocina y sofás camas. Ideal para familias con niños. Tiene un jardín interior con hamacas, mesitas y unas vistas estupendas a la catedral. El servicio de todo el personal es excelente. El hotel muy bonito y con muy buen desayuno en un salón precioso con vistas a los jardines. El restaurante del hotel, Pateo das flores tiene una calidad excelente, buena presentación de los platos, buenos vinos y excelente servicio!!! Muy recomendable, a un paso de la Torre dos clérigos, la Sé, puente Louis I, Sáo Bento y livrería Lello.

Absolutely enjoyed this hotel. It's like a home away from home. Excellent service is second to none. The spa is a little small, but the massage and facial treatments were delightful and the Roman bath was relaxing. I would recommend this hotel any given day.

Magnifique hôtel réparti sur plusieurs bâtiments avec en son centre une belle terrasse avec vue dégagée sur les toits de la vieille ville. La chambre en duplex est top. Le petit déjeuné est complet et excellent. La salle est belle. Le petit salon avec les pommes, les cacahuètes thé et café à discrètion et à toute heure, c est parfait. Le spa est original dans les caves. Le personnel est sympathique et acceuillant. BRAVO. je reviendrai!

My daughters and I checked in for my oldest’s 12th bday, November 10, 2018. Staff was lovely, room (at the very back of the multi building hotel) was also lovely, at first glance. We went down to the baths (a little chilly but fun) and upon our return 30 mins later found ants all over a chocolate bar I’d left on the night table. I told the front desk and threw our the candy, quickly wiping the table and floor, but in the night my youngest and myself (we were sharing the bed) woke a number of times bc ants were in the sheets, on our faces etc. In the morning, we saw that they were marching all over the room,. I have photos and video. The front desk told me I could speak with the manager at 10 am, and we stayed in our room to await our breakfast, ordered via the door hanger menu. It never came- they’d lost the request. We hurriedly dressed to go down for breakfast and literally found ants everywhere from our clothing to our bag. Later, manager didn’t show, so I emailed the issue and was asked what I thought would be sair compensAtion for ants and the resulting itch (allergy?). I asked for a 50% refund, but days later was told this was too much; that ants are a hazard of any garden hotel. Um, sorry, no they are nor. We travel the world and this is the first time I’ve had to share my bed with insects!! Very unfortunate that they lost a customer and are now open to my honest, though unfavourable review, bc they value money over customer satisfaction.

I expected more of this hotel , room was ok and specious but breakfast was below average, not very well presented and the kitchen staff didn’t have a uniform and they were in their casual outfits ?!!! Reception staff were helpful but generally I wouldn’t go back to this hotel ...

Nun ja,die Bewertungen und Werbebilder sahen toll aus...dazu noch mitten in der Stadt mit 5 Sternen...da grift nan zu.Leider ist die Realität dann doch anders...unser Raum liegt am Ende der 3teiligen Gebäudeanlage.Der weg durch den idyllischen innenhof zeigt schon,dass die Fotos aus besseren Tagen stammen ...alles sehr abgewohnt.Unser Raum hat den Charme einer Behelfsbehausung für Wanderarbeiter...dies ligt vor allen an der riesigen Küche...die fast den halben Raum einnimmt.Die Einrichtung ist Gelsenkirchen er Barock und zudem ebenfalls sehr abgewohntkeine Lichtdurchflutete Räune...und das Zimmer war schon vor der Check in Zeit verfügbar. Da wir hier nur eine Nacht bleiben. ...und hier auch nie wieder übernachten werden verzichte ich auf eine Beschwerde.Dafür das wir aber bei Direktbuchubg für 216 Euro so ein Zimmer bekommen.....schon ein Anlass zum Nachdenken.Also mein Tipp ....zimmer vorher kennen..oder anderes Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the stuff were great , and the facilities were very good, just not having elevator to the upper part of the hotel will make it hard to older people and not having parking, these issues with out knowing this up in front reduces our satisfaction

Hôtel idéalement situé au cœur du centre de Porto cela permet de se déplacer à pied partout et facilement. De plus le métro est à 5 min de marche. Hotel digne d'un 4 étoile avec tous les équipements dans la chambre. Piscine sauna et jardin très agréable avec une très belle vue sur porto et sa cathédrale. Stayed here for one night in the studio apartment in building 3. Overall this is a beautiful set of buildings with original features alongside modern styles. The staff are polite and the room was clean and chic. Glass of Port wine given during check9was a nice touch. Studio: The studio has a Queen size bed, sofa and TV with bath, shower, toilet and bidet. There is a separate kitchen with a door, inside is all cooking essentials and a small table a chairs. Spa: the spa is included with the room stay. basic compared to other spas I have been too. The roman baths were cold, sauna was good. Steam room had no steam and was cold. Towels were provided. Massage are offered at a price, I peeped 80€ for one but they did offer 30% off for hotel guests. Breakfast: good selection of hot food, pastries, cold cuts, cheese and fruit. Hot and cold drinks also available. Pros: inside the room towels, robes, slippers, face towels and hand towels were all provided with the VF logo, they also provide bath essentials. Beautiful view from the patio. Cons: the TV inside the room could not connect to my Google chrome cast and therefore I was unable to watch Netflix via my phone. I figured out this was because they have blocked the WiFi for such devices. The radiators were a bit temperamental, but heated up the room after a while. There was no iron in the room and there was a very basic hair dryer. Building 3 was right at the back and we had to walk outside to get to breakfast and the spa, which was annoying as it was cold outside.

No funciona la piscina del spa, estuvimos preguntando en recepción horario y demás, y no nos lo indicaron. En la habitación hace frío. En el baño aún más, no hay calefacción, y tampoco tiene ningún enchufe en el baño. Hay muchos enchufes que no funcionan. La iluminación de todo el apartamento es muy mala. Considero que no es para un hotel de 4 estrellas ni se corresponde con el precio que tiene. El personal es muy atento y agradable, lo mejor del hotel. La ubicación es muy buena.

I just visited for massage only. If you need a proper massage then you should not go there. Price is 90 euro and it does.not include spa. Only massage. Room.was very small and bed and room itself was not warm. Massage was not good enough to relax as well.

Hotel magnífico quem ver nao acredita no tamanho do local. O quarto muito amplo foi perfeito para 4 pessoas e acredito que dava 6 pessoas ou mais . Os recepcionistas muito atenciosos e agradáveis. O café da manhã é um buffet so tem o que tem lá. (Seria bom ter opções de pratos mais elaborados ) O terraço é lindo que da saída para rua de trás. Concerteza voltando a cidade me hospedarei novamente.

All the staff was wonderful. Our flight was constantly delayed and Patricia at the reception continuously communicated with us and arranged our pick up from the airport. Mario also did his best to accommodate us when arrived. The hotel is very well situated. The downside is the lack of storage space for clothes in the room. There was one small cupboard with a tiny hanging space and no drawers.

Lovely lounge with free coffee/juice etc. Great patio with amazing view, nice garden area with loungers. Helpful polite staff. Excellent reception with free welcome drink.

Very nice location right in downtown but beware of ants. We woke up one morning and a wall in the bedroom was covered in ants and they had gotten into our suitcases ruining all specialty food we had purchased. Hotel promptly cleaned up everything but definitely an indication that additional cleaning is needed as the ants came from inside the wall through a socket.

Got a huge room in a central location in Porto with a great breakfast. Staff was extemely helpful in helping us book tickets to local attactions and restaurants. There's also a Roman bath and sauna included in the price of the room which was very nice. We enjoyed our stay there.

Pros: Flores Village & Spa is in the heart of historic Porto. It's a very walkable city and the staff even set out a route for us to see all the major sites. They have a lovely lounge and great breakfast. Make sure to go up on the terrace to catch a view of the city. Con: three different buildings in the hotel, which have a few steps that could be harder on older visitors. But the staff was so helpful and guided us throughout. I would wholeheartedly recommend Flores to visitors and would stay here again.

The hotel was excellent the only comment I have is I like a double bed to my self even in a twin room. Whilst common in the USA not so much in Europe. The only thing stopping me using this hotel again would be finding a twin bedded room with doubles not singles. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, especially the gardens and the breakfast room. The spa is wonderful. The staff is the most welcoming staff Ive ever encountered. I dont give full support because the newer rooms (which are fairly less expensive) just arent as nice as the main building rooms. We had a little issue with some A/C and instantly got a new room and a roll away. But after seeing into some of the other rooms, we wished we paid a bit more and were in the main building - those rooms were MUCH nicer. BUT, if youve got kids with you or have dietary concerns, the back rooms are a good choice since they have kitchens (we think it was a building of studio apartments that they bought and are still integrating into the larger village).We got massages and both agreed that the therapist was great.They provide discounts for the spa and the tapas restaurant on site, and theres breakfast included. Id stay here agian - but in the main building.

Great hotel in great location- right in the centre of everything with reduced walking up hills!View of hotel is probably different though depending on what room you are in - suites better in main part of hotel. Also if you want an outside pool this is not the hotel for you.

Loved the garden, the roman baths and the delicious breakfast in the ballroom. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful and their recommendations were spot on.

Great place to stay in Porto. On the main pedestrian street. Near all the attractions and walking distance to the river promenade and to the shopping area. Very attentive service at the reception and in the restaurant. Exquisite restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable waiters. Surprising garden with loungers and very romantic view over the city center from the rooftop terrace. Oh, yeah, and also complimentary Port (drink as much as you want). Overall 5 starts for the location, service, the food, and the design. The only area which needs improvement is the gym - there are no dumbbells or barbells there, only couple of treadmills - not for weightlifting.

Stayed for 5 nights and our family (including two toddlers) enjoyed it so much. Amazing staffs and great location. Room is a bit old, but there are just too many good things about this hotel that you will not even care about that!

Very nice « little » hotel. The garden is a plus to enjoy some sun in a quiet place though being in the middle of the town.

We had a living room plus bedroom and kitchenette for our 5 person family and it was spacious. The old window gave great view to the cathedral and in front of the Hotel was lively pedestrian street. The spa had pool with whirlpools and strange blue lighting. And a sauna that fulfilled my Finnish requirements although it was only 60°C warm. A nice service was complimentary water, orange juice and coffee in coffee room right next to courtyard terracce.

Estuvimos en febrero, un fin de semana, la verdad q está muy bien ubicado, queda cerca d casi todo. Tienes albornoz y zapatillas en la habitación para acceder al spa y creo q es el único hotel en el q por la mañana no sé escucha ruido, al menos en la habitación q nos tocó. La pega, es q el spa es muy pequeño.

Great rooms and the hotel staff are great. Resturant and bar are mediocre. Breakfast is good. Spa treatments are perfect. Pool is tiny. Location is perfect. The street outside can be noisy or atmospheric depending on you point of view on buskers. The whole area is expensive.

Estancia muy acogedora en este hotel.Servicio por parte del personal exquisto.La ubicación inmejirable en una calle semipeatonal en pleno centro que te permite ir a pie a la Ribera, a la Torre de los Clérigos, a la Catedral.....El spa está muy bien para relajarse los días de lluvia y el desayuno muy correcto.Para repetir sin dudarlo.

I had an amazing experience at Flores Village Hotel & Spa. The staff in lovely, the reception team really welcoming and helpful. The garden is amazing with an incredible view on Porto. The hotel is really clean. The roman therm and the Spa are great. I recommend 100%!

Merveilleux hôtel avec un niveau de service dont on a pas l'habitude en France. Un accueil super agreable avec un verre de porto, toujours pret a vous indiquer les sites touristiques ou le restaurant ou dîner. Le spa et le jaccuzi sont tops. La localisation est parfaite, en plein centre ville. Bon petit dejeuner, joli jardin, literie confortable. Top.

Os funcionários são super simpáticos, e sempre prestáveis. A fachada é fenomenal. A decoração do quarto é muito bonita e super confortável. O pequeno almoço é bom, não tem muita variedade mas é bastante fresco. As crianças têm acesso ao Spa e aos banhos romanos que são uma delícia. O localização do Hotel é excelente.

Leider fehlen für die Wintermonate entsprechende Heizmöglichkeiten in den Zimmern. Gerade da es stark geregnet hat und wir daher im Apartment geblieben sind war es störend, dass man dann noch mit einer Decke (immerhin im Zimmer vorhanden) rumlaufen musste. Das Personal am Empfang hatte eine Heizung .....

Wonderful villa, a truly perfect small duplex apartment. Nice minibar, very well located, the nicest staff, almost perfect. Unfortunately, Internet was almost nonexistent in my room. If it weren't for that, it would have been Heaven on Earth.

The room was filthy to put it bluntly. We had disgusting brown stains and HUGE holes in the towels they provided. I wouldn't even use towels in this condition as rags. The bed was full of hair so we had to sleep in the living room on the pull out sofa. At 6 am the people in the room above us started stomping like elephants and the rooms are not sound proofed for the acoustics of the wood floors. After calling the front desk so they could ask the above room to quite down there was no improvement. I called again and the staff said they could not reach the room and they would not do anything further. The breakfast buffet was also unhygenic, minimal and not worth the fee paid. After speaking with the manager, Bernardo about this nightmare he was very unprofessional and agreed that the conditions were disgusting and he suggested that the reason for the filth was the high occupancy of the hotel. This is no excuse for the disgusting conditions we were exposed to and the manager did not seem very surprised so this probably happens often. I say if you cannot manage your hotel maybe you are in the wrong business. After no sleep and a terrible experience the only thing we were offered was help finding another hotel. Thanks but, no thanks. Never again. If you like spending your money and getting nothing for it but filth and a bad experience stay here.

The staff at the reception is very kind and friendly. They gave us excelent advice on what to do in Porto. Patricia welcomed us, she's lovely and you can see she loves to do her job. The hotel is beautiful, I loved every single corner of it. It offers a delicious and varied breakfast. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Porto!

Das Hotel ist direkt an einer sehr lauten Fußgängerzone. Leider ist der Spa-Bereich bei weitem nicht so groß und schön wie hier dargestellt. Es wirkt alles eher renovierungsbedürftig.Die angepriesene Küchenzeile in manchen Zimmer ist ein einfacher Küchenblock, welcher stumpf in das Zimmer reingestellt ist und nicht passend ist. Das Personal ist leider unfreundlich und unpünktlich. Es waren schwierige 3 Tage dort und ich würde es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Top 2 hotels I have ever stayed at in terms of noise (you do not hear any outside noise from your room). Fantastic breakfast. Great location. Try the massage and the whirlpoo/sauna if you can, they come in handy after a long day of walking!

NOTE 1/31/2016: There is major construction happening across a narrow street from the hotel with work starting at 7am. If you are given a room on Flores Street, please be advised that construction sounds will be an issue on weekdays. It is a huge project so I expect this to be going on for at least a year or two. I found this hotel thanks to the recent New York Times article on Porto which always helps to heighten expectations. Unfortunately, after a three day stay, Flores Village didn't rise to the occasion. To start with the good, the location was central and the check-in process was friendly and informative with the added bonus of a glass of Porto to sip while you learn about the city. The building itself is amazing and speaks to Porto's wealthy history plus the grounds of the hotel are etched into the hillside making for great views from the breakfast room and terrace. The worst part of this experience was the noise in our room. We were on the first floor right on Flores Street. On the weekends, the yelling, screaming, singing, fighting, and relentless kicking of metal objects lasts until about 6am. The windows and shutters in the room do not help much with blocking the sound. On weekday mornings, the construction site starts up at 7am with saws, hammering, and chatter. We were also treated to a 1am alarm from the building across the street. All in all, we were shattered by the time we checked out. (FYI: I did mention this to reception after the first night but they said they were unable to accommodate a room change that evening. They did not follow-up with me the next day and with only one night to go, I dropped it.) As for the quality of the rooms, we booked one of the largest three-room suites. The living space was very spacious and nicely furnished in a modern-vintage look but the room was dark, even with the windows open, again a function on being on Flores Street. The master bedroom was small, dark, and awkwardly laid out with the queen bed at a strange angle. (The other was bigger but still dark.) Neither bathroom had a bathtub but one had a bidet. All in all, a fine room but lacking brightness and functionality. Now on to the hotel amenities. The breakfast room is gorgeous! The breakfast itself is not so great with less-than-fresh offerings and surly staff. The gym is small though there's just enough to get a workout in. The spa attendant is super friendly but the spa itself is small, awkwardly laid out, and poorly managed. Despite opening at 3pm, the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were all still ice cold so therefore, not useable, and there's no tea/water, shower to rinse off, place to hang your robes, or lounge to relax in. All in all, a spa and gym for the website pictures, not really to use. The terrace was pretty but almost all the white furniture sported a thick coating of green mold. Finally, hotel services are pretty hit or miss. When I asked if Uber would pick us up at the door (it was pouring!) they said they had no idea nor did they help us figure it out. I let them know I was celebrating a big birthday in the booking as well as discussed this with them on the phone. There was not so much of a mention of this when I checked-in or throughout the stay. These aren't big issues but rather examples of their lack of true customer service. I'd say look elsewhere if you are after a luxury experience. While Flores Village does seem to offer this on their website, they fall short in execution.

Que du positif...magnifique hôtel,immense chambre,personnel très accueillant qui donne de bon conseil de visite et restaurant,bien centré,super spa gratuit,petites déjeuner top. Je me réjouis d'y retourner.

Schönes Hotel das zentral gelegen ist. Nettes Personal, kostenloser Parkplatz im Innenhof (Auto sollte nich größer als ein Audi Q3 sein, weil man mit einen Aufzug nach unten fahren muss). Einen Stern Abzug gibts von mir wegen den zwar schönen aber viel zu kleinen Frühstücksraum, den kleinen Frühstücksangebot, den verkalkten Duschkopf, den defekten Toilettensitz und den Stein harten Bett.

Stayed for 4 nights and it was a wonderful place to stay central to everything great in Porto. The staff were fantastic and the facilities including a steam room, sauna and spa are an additional bonus.

Estamos muy contentos de pasar unos días en este hotel. Todo muy bien el hotel es una maravilla y nos toco una habitación de ensueño.El desayuno muy bien y los chicos de recepción muy amables y atentos a nosotros nos atendió Marco y es maravilloso.

Wij zijn geneigd om een 10 te geven maar we houden het op 9,9. Geweldig hotel met een vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel wat wij hoogst zelden aantreffen. Even wat verbaasd dat de tuin op de 4e verdieping is te vinden maar het hotel ligt tegen een heuvel aan gebouwd waardoor, de werkelijk prachtige tuin, een uitzicht geeft over een deel van de stad. De perfecte locatie in het oude deel van Porto geeft de gelegenheid om binnen 5 à 10 min. aan de oever van de Douro het station of de metro te komen. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Nice stay in a beautiful room, everything was clean, a full equiped kitchen which we didn't use because there are so many nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. Friendly and helpfull staff. At the checkin we recieved a glass of good porto wine. I would recommend this place to everyone. For myself I certainly will return there

This hotel made our trip to Porto even more perfect. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most friendliest and helpful Frontdesk staff! She took her time explaining all details about the stay in the hotel and made us feel like we were the only guests. She further assisted us with our sightseeing for the 2 days we were staying and recommended very good restaurants to go to in the area which met our taste completely I would not even think about choosing a different hotel when coming to Porto next time and would not hesitate to send family and friends here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Vitoria Village. Our rooms were double story with living and kitchen on the bottom and bedroom on top. The hotel was within walking distance to all major tourist attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Free wifi access available
