Staff are friendly and very outgoing which is a massive plus when staying in these type of hotels, rooms are well layed out and comfortable. The bar area is very quiet in the evening time's and cud do with a more entrainment . Breakfast has a great choice on offer ,tip order your latte or capicino as you are seated. Bus runs to beach from hotel with free beds on falisea beach + towels big plus. Pool area nice but very busy and towels left on beds that's a minus,all in all good location excellent staff .

Good hotel. Big room with balcony that you can smoke on. Good breakfast but evening buffeet so so. Big area with pools, bar and relaxation. Price very decent for a 5* hotel. Room service menu in general good and priced nicely. I am no golfer so did not try the golf course. Overall I recommend this place if for both families and couples.

A hotel with high standard and a relaxing environment. The hotel has tastefully designed garden and invites its visitors to slow down and look closely around for more details. I enjoyed the green blossoms, the flowers and the wonderful set of colors created by all the flowers and leaves and trees.
There is a wonderful pool in the garden. It is partly enclosed by walls in clay with large viewing windows. One of the windows was covered by running water, which in combination with the terracotta color of the wall created a comfortable and relaxing view.
The restaurant has a very good selection of food and local cuisines. There was also buffet for children. The breakfast was one of the most exciting moments. I enjoyed every one of them during my stay.
The hotel is a bit far from the city life and you get a feeling of being at a resort. In short, a great place to have sunbathe and relax.

A very nice place in a very nice location. Comfortable rooms, spacious balconies, excellent staff, nice breakfast, numerous amenities, all in a great location.
Would have enjoyed staying here another month....
Only reason for not giving it five stars is it lacked the very subjective and personal view that I expect of five stars in hotels.
I recommend staying here if available

Our first time in Portugal and we chose the Vilamora Hilton. A very relaxing yet efficient hotel. The staff are just great and work none stop. We look forward to the breakfast each morning ..i think i have tried and enjoyed most of it. Pools to suit families. Couples and groups of friends. We were welcomed on arrival by Raquel. So efficient and so friendly. Dina thank you for your invaluable information.. We shall be returning to this Hotel. So welcoming and relaxing

Very quiet due to the time of year (November) but very comfortable. Make sure if you are a light sleeper you are no way near the ice machines though

Zimmer sind gut. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Aber, Frühstück Buffet für meinen Geschmack eher klein und nichts bessonderes. Zum Teil nicht frische Früchte, Obst und Gemüse. Kein Personal das aufräumt, wenn einer wüst schöpft.
Dresscode ist legere.
Anantara ist da Excellent. Sorry.

Es un hotel espectacular! Si bien fuimos al Conrad de la misma cadena a una cena y nos sorprendió que éste fuera aún mejor.
De no haber estado en el Conrad Algarve le daría las 5 estrellas, pero tras visitar éste último creo que debería mejor.
Quizás el Vilamoura está más enfocado a familias y el Conrad a parejas o ejecutivos.
En cualquier caso es un resort digno de visitar. Particularmente no me gusta el turismo en hoteles y sin embargo en éste repetiría sin duda.
Altamente recomendable!

Awesome, it really has the Vilamoura atmosphere. Nice decorations everywhere, got upgraded to a huge apartment and everything was excellent. The spa is also well done and a good spot to relax after a whole day driving through Algarve.

Kein Hilton Standart. Miserables Buffetessen, einfach, Convinenzprodukte,unschön hergerichtet. Keine Bargetränke zB. Gin Tonic wird einzeln serviert!!!! 8 Tage ein unverändertes Standartbuffet beim Frühstück!!!!wieder großteils Fertigprodukte der mindersten Güteklasse. Frühstückskaffe geizig in Aluthermoskannen - billiger dünner Filterkaffee. 7er Gruppe ~ kein einziges Mal ware.n Tische gerichtet. 7.00h Abreise- es war nicht möglich, dass ein Frühstück geschweige ein Kaffee serviert wurde. Chattledienste funktionierten nicht. Golfplatz-Hotel. Leider

Cost factor is enormous. 1 & 1/2 Ltr of water - 4.50 euro (plastic bottle). Irish coffee 10.00 euro. Toasted sandwich and a hand full if chips 17.00 euro. Choice of food , not great and is usually COLD by the time you get it on the table to eat!
I honestly don't know how this is a 5 star hotel !! Won't be coming back here for sure!!!

Very nice resort, good location, friendly and professional staff. Great and well maintained facilities. SPA is extra if you are not above gold membership. Small indoor pool, outdoor pool, very good kids club!

Sauberkeit im Aussenbereich ist kritikwürdig. Türen nach draußen waren defekt. Vorallem die nicht vorhandene oder nicht funktionierende Bremse die das zuschlagen dämpft. Essen war ok, aber nicht super.

Dececionante. O quarto é agradável mas tudo o resto falha.
De salientar a má preparação dos funcionários do pequeno almoço, não sabem dirigir-se aos clientes, sendo mesmo em alguns casos rudes.
Pouca qualidade e variedade ao p.almoco.
Fomos acordados pelas funcionárias da limpeza a falarem alto umas com as outras.
Só ficamos uma noite e optamos pelo lake resort para passar os restantes dias das nossas férias. Esse sim é um hotel 5 estrelas, tudo é perfeito!
No Hilton não voltaremos e não recomendamos.

Experiência decepcionante! Mau atendimento, no restaurante, recepção, pequeno almoço. Tivemos que esperar 10 minutos para entrar no pequeno almoço, inadmissível no hotel de 5 estrelas. No quarto, o escoamento de água no polibam não funcionava, não tinha secador de cabelo. Ficou mesmo muito a desejar. Não voltarei a repetir nem recomendo.

Gosto do hotel em si mas aquilo que gosto mesmo é do Spa. Viajo muito e faço sempre questão de utilizar os spas dos hotéis onde fico e de facto o spa desta unidade hoteleira é dos melhores que já estive. Ir a este hotel e não utilizar o spa é simplesmente um crime

Dear sir/madam,
It was a great place to stay, but I don't know what happened to the A/C in the room ,today my third day I reported to the reception but still I slept yesterday with the windows open ,imagine 5 star ?.This is purely the staff communication and the supervisor problem. We booked from 19th till 25th January 2019.yesterday woke up 2.35 and again reported to reception, nothing happening so far ,my son was sick given Calpol at night time, definitely the hotel need to compensate and correct the incident, if any senior manager reading this message please take immediate action.

Un hotel espectacular, precioso y acogedor. Tiene unas zonas comunes muy agradables para estar tomando algo y si es temporada de primavera-verano tienen unas piscinas espectaculares, con zonas de bar y terrazas . Los Buffet-desayuno son variados, estan muy bien y los camarer@s estan muy pendientes de que no falte nada. Muy bien cuidado, el servicio es muy atento. Las habitaciones estan muy bien y la cama es grande, muy cómoda y algo que me ha gustado bastante es que la bañera esta separada de la habitacion por una cristalera y una cortina que se puede quitar y mientras te das un baño relajante puedes ver la televisión.

Das war das aller schönste Hotel in dem ich jemals war. Ich kann es immer noch nicht fassen wie toll es war. Das Zimmer war der absolute Hammer (T1), mit wunderschöner Terasse, das Bad (Glaswand) war ein Traum. Das Bett war meeega gemütlich... ich wollte gar nicht mehr weg von dort. Ich habe Portugal kennen und lieben gelernt. ❤️

It was the second time we stayed in this hotel , it is a good hotel , good for children , however the coffee they bring to the table at the breakfast lookalike a brown water ! If you want a proper one have to keep asking the staff , our room wasn’t cleaned properly .

O hotel é globalmente bom. Staff muito simpático. A piscina aquecida é semi exterior facto que condiciona os dias mais frios ou com mais vento. Estivemos hospedados no fim de ano e as cascatas estiveram praticamente todas desligadas!

Came here when it is quiet as November. Everything very professional. Staff are great. The main restaurant is closed which is unfortunate. Bar is expensive as others have said but similar to Irish prices back home. Food very good. Room is an upgrade and is good with a comfortable bed. Pool area is attractive but I suspect too small for their busy days. A good 20 minutes walk from the marina and beach. Bicycle hire is good value for money at the hotel at €10 per day. There is a hotel shuttle bus for a few hours in the morning and again in the afternoon and evening but we didnt use it.

From the first impression to the last, everything was exceptional.
Staff, facilities, location, food.
We had a lovely, large room with pool view,
and were welcomed with sparkling wine and
" home made" chocolate covered strawberries. A very nice touch.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
If you are a golfer, you are literally surrounded by top class courses.
And if it's tennis, there is a super academy,
10 minutes walk away. Time permitting,
we will return.

It’s was a beautiful stay at a beautiful Hotel. I had a fantastic time with my gf. One of the receptionist wasn’t as helpful as I would’ve liked. I ordered a pizza from an outside business and requested her to let us know as soon it arrived. She didn’t call us... other than that great gym facility. Do not waste your money. This is not a 5 star hotel in the slightest. Although the rooms are nice, it is a boring area with very little to do. Even if you just want to sunbathe, they only allow one towel per guest and people reserve sun beds all day with their towels despite not using them. At 8am every morning people are already reserving their sun beds leading to a shortage of sun beds. As another review mentioned, the sun beds are packed together like sardines. Not what I would describe as relaxing. The only food to eat is in the hotel and the harbour, the food is very average especially if you are stuck there for a while. Many of the restaurants advertised in the hotel are closed. The bar is tacky so there is not even anywhere nice to drink. Also, I would only go to this place if you have small children - it is very kid friendly. It’s like a giant playground full of screaming kids in the pool area. I will not ever be returning so no need to respond to my review.

Gorgeous room with all the facillities, a little way out from Marina, but offers a regular courtesy shuttle bus there and back !
Prices in the hotel bar for drinks very expensive, as in 2 G&T's and a Guiness over €30 . . .
Swimming pools are fabulous, with free sunbeds a bonus, but a few to many children around main pools, but saying that, there is an adults only pool if you want total peace !
Still good value, based on what's on offer . . .

A good place to relax for a couple of days. Excellent customer service in the hotel and the spa. The complimentary bus service was a huge benefit. Food wasn't too bad but much preferred heading down to the Marina to eat. Can be expensive for drinks but it is a five star spa and resort

Disappointed. This is a 4 star plus at best and I’m struggling to see why it’s rated as 5 star luxury. It’s a lovely hotel, clean and plenty to do but it’s not 5 star! The pool side beds are all ridiculously close so you are squeezed in like sardines and the rush to save beds is crazy and stressful. The staff are friendly however we had a huge mix up with our bill and it took 3 days and many staff to resolve due to incompetence which was very frustrating.
The rooms are decent and the bathroom is very good but they are not cleaned properly! Our shower never got cleaned and we had to ask for it to be done properly. They also did not clean the cups and spoons used with the in room tea and coffee facilities and I came back to the room early
Only to catch the cleaners running a used cup under hot water in the bathroom sink which by my standard does not make it clean!! Disgusting for a 5 star hotel!
The highlight is the on site restaurant which serves fabulous food at night . The bar Rubi is also very good so it does have some good points.
There is a stunning spa on site but you are charged €35 just to get in and use the jacuzzi and hydro pool. I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels and never been charged to use the facilities, only treatments.
Overall it’s a nice hotel and the shuttle bus to the marina and beach is good but this is a very good 4 star not 5.

Amazing hotel! Fantastic service by the staff. The rooms are lovely I especially like the glass walled bathroom. The beds are also very comfortable. I really like the restaurants that are by the pool they served brilliant food. My only complaints are that the pool is very shallow and that it closes at 7:30pm. Also in the games room the snooker table didn’t have any equipment to play with and the games room was very mediocre and everything not working properly. But apart from that fantastic stay and I will definitely be coming back again.

A dreamy, beautiful, secluded resort which is just wonderful if you have children (more the merrier!) This place caters wonderfully for families of any size. There are about 5 or 6 pools on site. Very family oriented.

This is now the seventh time visiting this place as I stay along from it.....and will never be back.
Completely ignored in the bar for the sixth time (waiting 15 minutes to order a drink is unacceptable)
This is meant to be a 5 star hotel... the bar staff need retraining as customer service skills are zero.
I don’t mind paying higher prices for excellent service but this is not going to happen if you visit this bar ...compared to other establishments even the Michelin star restaurant at the back of your hotel where we ended up is cheaper than the Hilton Bar.
So if you do read this review order a taxi to the marina as you’ll have much more fun and will be cheaper than drinking in the Hilton bar.
You should be ashamed at getting this bad review especially from a Hilton honours customer
Having read more negative reviews about this Hotel it amazes me that it is still a 5 star hotel .... obviously the social media team is kept in a full time job deflecting negative comments

The hotel and the facilities are ok but the service is disastrous. Staff in general are not trained at all. The manager does not monitor anything. Besides he is never present except perhaps in his office ... The general management of Hilton hotels should do an inspection because it is very important to maintain the reputation of the hotel.The Spa facilities are good but the staff is not at all present. If you want to come and relax with your 10 year old child it's almost impossible because they make you out at 11:00 am . It's a real shame.

Great hotel, excellent customer service and facilities contributed to a very enjoyable holiday. The regular shuttle service enabled visits to the bustling Vilamoura marina and to the beach where Hilton customers were well catered for. The staff were always on hand to help with any issues or ideas on places to visit. We look forward to visiting again.

Отдельный респект - детский парк. Или городок (язык не поворачивается назвать это чудо - площадкой)). И ребята, которые в нём помогают - просто молодцы! Очень грамотная, доброжелательная и тактичная организация. Вытащить оттуда детей - каждый раз проблема... Если бы не Океан))).

Nice location and easy walking distance to super market for snacks. has several nice resturants which were in the hotel itself. pool was nice in size and temperature but the bottom of the pool was very rough on the feet and needing repair. the bar service was awesome, thanks Arther for your great drinks. they have a shuttle to the marina and beach which is free and runs on the hour. we also found Restaurante Rio which we loved just a short walk away from the hotel. their service was excellant as well as their Steak on a Stone meal.

Very noisy resort full of families with screaming kids from 7am to 9pm. Soundproofing non existing you can hear absolutely everything from the surrounding rooms. Pool area very run down and outdated reminded me of a Disney hotel. Breakfast is chaos and that's probably an understatement food was good but it's so busy and chaotic with screaming kids it's an eat and run affair . Staff were all nice and did change our room. Both our rooms had major drainage issues with showers and sinks filling up almost immediately and taking 5-10 minutes to drain. Overall there are better hotels for the price so I would not recommend

My sister had to wait an hour and a half to check into her honeymoon Suite after booking it 7 months before hand and ringing up the day before to confirm time she would be there, and she even came two hours later then she said. Was not impressed with customer service st all.

Really nice apartments, pool clean, plenty of sun beds, however drinks a super expensive. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the main harbour, but there is a free shuttle bus which runs regularly.

The hotel was ok. I reviewed it on Trip Advisor and said that the drinks are expensive and got a rude reply from the manager saying that he was sorry that the hotel was not in my budget. How does he know. Their idea of a mojito was, sprig of mint at bottom of glass, not crushed to release the oils, no lime, ice was correct, shot of rum, correct and lemonade a a sprig of mint. This is not a mojito, is the lemonade with mint and the cost €11. I've stayed at one of the best hotels in Barcelona, Hotel 1898, their mojito was fantastic. The other draw back of this hotel is the distance from beach, I'm a keen walker so no problem, but if you're not you have to queue for the bus. Most staff didn't smile, except for Bruno at breakfast and Nicole downstairs, they where lovely. I don't mind paying for great service and great drinks. I guess I'm a bit of a cocktail and Gin specialist so I like things correct. The hotel owners will be contacted about the manager.

Gostei muito do hotel só não concordo de a reserva do hotel não ter incluído o pequeno almoço. Mas fora isso o hotel tem ótimos quartos, boas piscinas e espaços de lazer. E um spa . Aconselho que quem tem a reserva no hotel pague os 15 euros para usufruir do spa

Lovely stay. Breakfast was great. Rooms were big and comfy and I had a great view. Outdoors pool was cold but there was a heated indoors one that was lovely. Affordable prices for drinks. Also had a wonderful time down at the spa. A lovely massage and facial by Andrea. Overall loved my stay would definitely recommend

La atencion del personal, tanto en recepcion, como en el bar Rubi, como las camareras de pisos es de 10. La comida del bar Rubi excelente, aunque la carta no era muy extensa, asi que nos a dado tiempo a probarlo todo jejeje. Y por la noche los coktail riquisimos, con musica en vivo y camareros super amables, atentos y divertidos. Volveremos sin dudarlo

The most stunning hotel in the quoet yet popular area of Vilamoura. You have everything you need on site including a shuttle bus free to guests to the local marina area. Staff are first class and a huge shout out to the bar man who was working end Jan (forgot his name) he was the best customer service guy I've met for a long time

I stayed at this amazing hotel, and me and my wife were very happy with the service. breakfast was amazing, everything you can wish to have for breakfast. highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Algarve. Rooms were spacious and clean. bedding changed everyday. TV had a lot of British channels. All in all, great experience.

Chambres avzc du carrelage froid et hyper bruyant on entend les personnes arriver avec les valises et le matin les femmes de ménages très bruyantes.
Le club de sport aurait pu être un plus mais il pulvérise un aérosol hyper chimique dans l’air impossible de s’entraîner tellement on se croyait dans une parfumerie !
Dommage avec quelques changements l’hôtel pourrait être sympa.

J’ai choisi cet hôtel à cause du club de sport et du spa. Très mauvaise idée le club de sport est assez complet mais impossible de s’entraîner à cause d’un diffuseur super chimique au mur qui propulse une odeur de déodorant sans arrête qui vous donnent des migraines affreuses ! C’est abusé de nous bombarder de déodorant quand on s’entraîne c’est vraiment très limite. Le spa quand à lui est très beau mais il abusent du chlore cela a eu pour effet de décolorer le maillot de bain de ma femme.

Fine hotel. The highlight was their spa, which we got in for free for being a diamond member. The pool is also nice, but they close too early. The room was nothing special. We were "upgraded" to a suite, which was basically two adjoining rooms (one irregularly shaped). We only used one room. Breakfast was good. Location is ok, but not that close to the sea. Next time we will probably get a place next to the sea.

Very disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Vilamoura.
The hotel itself is tired, the service average and the food is poor. The breakfast included with the room is so poor we ended up having toast after the second day. We had lunch by the pool, the piri piri chicken tasted boiled, the meat was soft and goowy. Ceaser salad was ok but not for €15.50.
All of the prices for food and drink are net of tax, I understand the hotel may have a tax obligation but why not quote the gross of tax prices, it’s not as if the majority of your guest will be able to claim these taxes back? I imagine this is because it would make their high prices seem even higher. In conclusion, I’m afraid to say the whole set up feels like a tourist trap.
Some of the staff are friendly but in general we were made to feel like a hindrance to them. The service lacks what one would expect from a 5 star hotel.
We will avoid Hilton Hotels in the future.

This is the third time we have stayed here and we have enjoyed it each time however this time we had a burst pipe in our room but the staff have been very good it was a but if an upheaval we were.moved to a temporary room for two days and now we have been placed in a pool view room. They kindly gave us lunch and dinner with compliments. Breakfasts are amazing but we were disappointed that the buffet dinner is not available. However we have regularly used the bus to the marina and the beach this is an excellent service. We hope to return again next year.

This once lovely hotel is in need of extensive renovations. The fake rocks around the main pool area are an eyesore. Sunbed cushions are disgusting. The romantic pool has a brown mark around the tile area which would not encourage me to go in. Previously lovely gardens are full of weeds. The grouting in our shower definitely needed attention. The positive side to this hotel are the wonderful staff, from reception to housekeeping, courtesy drivers and beach bar they are all professional and friendly. Please pay attention to the detail.

This is not the Hilton experience I was expecting. Our apartment was nice but tiles are coming off the walls in the bathroom and there are stains on the sofa. If you want to swim in the larger pools then you have to put up with loud music all afternoon. The tackily named romantic pool is a quiet place but the pool is only really a plunge pool. Why not have one pool with music leaving a decent sized pool available for people who would like peace and quiet. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you want a peaceful holiday.

First stayed here when hotel opened and it was brilliant, decided to return last week and one week in I am really disappointed, noisey, corporate events taking over restaurants and pool, far from relaxing. Staff very friendly and helpful, but wouldn’t come back, which is a shame as potentially great hotel. Let’s hope this week is better.

Absolutely superb hotel in the perfect location for a quiet family get away with everything you could ever need to keep everyone entertained. The staff are super friendly and English speaking, accommodation is child/infant friendly and the addition of a free shuttle bus every 30mins to the Marina/Beach is excellent.
If you are reading this review and considering booking, I would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

- Hourly shuttle to beach/marina could be every thirty minutes. There's occasions where people couldn't all fit on and were stuck having to walk/taxi/Uber
- Expensive drinks; when you're paying £500 a night for a room, a £4 can of coke stings a bit!

. Perfecto para descansar , pero un poco alejado. Tiene un bus que te acerca a la playa y al puerto cada 60 minutos, pero tarda 5 o 10 minutos en llegar. Buenas habitaciones con terraza. Parking subterráneo enorme y gratuito. Como contra, la limpieza de la habitación, nos quejamos de unas manchas en unos azulejos en el cabecero de la cama que resultaban desagradables y no las limpiaron...las máquinas de hielo de 6, 5 no funcionaban. Y para coger sitio en la piscina hay que madrugar, la gente baja muy temprano y pone la toalla....y claro desaparecen...cosa que no está permitida.

Lovely hotel, great for families, comfortable beds with lovely rooms. Very large ground. First time in a 5 star Hilton, was slightly disappointed at the standard. Expected better, no welcome notes, or toiletry sample packs,no information about discount available at the spa opposite linked to Hilton. We just happened to go in and ask and found out it was reduced rate. Luckily we had one day left. Overall was OK. Probably wouldn't come back as nothing in surrounding area. They did have a shuttle bus every hour to and from Marina and Falesia beach which was handy.

Spent a week here whilst visiting Vilamoura, this hotel is what you’d expect of an up market Hilton Golf resort. The rooms were lovely and clean and stocked up daily by the staff. We had a small fridge to put our beverages in. The pool area is lovely and the adults only pool is relaxing and quiet. There is a free bus that takes you to the marina or the beach, it ran on time and we had no issues getting on it. Down by the beach there is a private area for the patrons of the hotel so no need to pay for a sunbed. There is even a small restaurant owned by the hotel where you can grab a beer and eat. We ate at the pool side restaurant one night the food was lovely, just abit on the pricey side but nothing to moan about. All in all this is a lovely hotel, you get what you pay for and it didn’t disappoint.

Just returned home from an enjoyable week in vilamoura . This year we chose the Hilton and we were not let down by the hotel itself , it was clean, friendly and had different pools to choose from . Also the use of their own towels . A shuttle bus to and from the arena was helpful as it is a 30 minute walk in sweltering heat . My negative view on the hotel is that their prices are through the roof . It is expensive to stay but for the luxury its not so bad but when your charged 4 euro for a can of coke , 4.50 for a small coffee , 4.50 for a bottle of water . My advice would be to use the spar down the road for drinks and use the marina for eating out .. some beautiful restraunts with better value for money .. the most we paid for 2 for a 3 course meal with drinks was no more than 70 euro and that was with a generous tip .. overall i would not go back to the hilton with prices like that .. will be back to vilamora next year but will stay elsewhere ... Nice hotel with great service. The room was clean and very spacious. The shuttle was great to get down to the beach and the marina. A huge plus was the private section on the beach. It did feel like something was missing for a 5 star hotel but maybe I'm being slightly harsh and I can't complain for the price we got for a weeks stay.

Just visited the hotel again for another week. This visit was just ok. Too many small niggles that left me feeling I could do better. One or two I could cope with, but there were many.
1. The Cilantro restaurant closed again. I say again because it was closed last year. Please don't tell me the other restaurant serves meals. That's where I get breakfast and it feels like breakfast when I eat an evening meal. This is the Hilton not another hotel.
2. Rubi bar closed at certain times. Again nothing to bad just not what I expect from a Hilton. The menus in the Rubi bar are falling apart. The look like they have come from a cheap carry out and haven't been replaced for years. Really Hilton?
3. Pool bar closed. The upper pool bar that is. This is just unacceptable. For any hotel. The hotel Missed out on several opportunities to sell lunch and cocktails because of this alone.
4. The main pool area bar open with one staff member. I didn't even bother trying to buy anything.
5. Fewer staff by the pool generally.
6. The sun umbrellas have change. They are now cheap plastic affairs that have a cheap look. Last year's wooden, tired as they were, looked so much better
7. Ice machine's in the corridors have been removed and not replaced.
8. The moving water feature was operating on one day only.
9. Bird mess on the loungers every morning.
10. The romantic pool looked a little green around the edges.
Over all one or two of these would be ok. Not all off them..

Birthday party for my son. Fantastic space for kids. The staff are great and cant do enough to help. So relaxing as its totally enclosed but with so much for the kids to do. It really is an exeptional place to have a party for kids. Will be back next year. Well reccommended.

Grundsätzlich ist Portugal ein wunderbares Land. Das Hotel ist etwas veraltet und eher für Grossfamilien mit vielen kleinen Kindern gedacht. Entsprechend war es auch sehr laut und eher ungemütlich. Personal wie immer in Portugal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very nice and friendly and the breakfast was superb except for Celine Dion music which is not necessary, the location is good and if you play golf you will love it the course looks great, the spa was also a very nice atmosphere, we had a room on the top floor with a great view.

Bislang sind wir selten von der Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals so positiv überrascht gewesen, wie in diesem exzellenten Hotel. Speziell Frau Dina Delgado übernahm das CheckIn Prozedere auf eine so überraschend persönliche wie kompetente Art und Weise, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an sehr willkommen fühlen konnten.
Mit unserem Zimmer waren wir mehr als zufrieden. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Rezensenten empfanden wir alle Einrichtungen im Zimmer als perfekt gepflegt.
Auch das Abendessen stellte uns sehr zufrieden, sowohl was die Qualität und die Zubereitung der Speisen, als auch was den Service angeht. Gleiches gilt für das reichhaltige und sehr ansprechend präsentierte Frühstück.
Das Spa zu besuchen hatten wir leider keine Zeit, daher können wir diese Einrichtung nicht beurteilen, erfuhren jedoch, dass es nach der Übernahme vom bislang externen Betreiber durch das Hotel Zug um Zug renoviert und auf das Niveau des Hauses gebracht werden wird.
Für uns jedenfalls ist das Hilton Vilamoura ein klare Empfehlung - mit herzlichem Dank an Dina Delgado!

Das Hotel ist günstig gelegen und bietet mit Golf, Fitness und Spa alles für aktive Gäste. Schade, dass es keine Restaurants draussen an der Sonne, sondern nur im Schatten gibt. Service ist gut, aber im Restaurant ist die Bedienung steif, formell und unfreundlich.

Um hotel lindo com ótima infraestrutura em uma das regiões mais belas de Portugal, os quartos são amplos e o 7 SEVEN SPA é fantástico!
Minha experiência no HILTON VILAMOURA como cliente Honors Diamond foi excelente, recebemos um upgrade (mediante a disponibilidade, conforma regra do programa) para uma linda suíte KING FAMILY SUITE WITH POOL VIEW, as acomodações eram amplas com dois banheiros completos, a decoração com um toque português através de murais de azulejos conferiu ao quarto uma identidade própria, fingindo no bom sentido do padrão Hilton.
Há noite, foi oferecido a um grupo de clientes leais Honors, uma degustação de vinhos portugueses, foi um evento agradável e intimista onde conhecemos diversos gerentes da unidade VILAMOURA, apreciando os bons vinhos portugueses, um dos gerente com quem conversávamos ainda contou acerca do produto no qual Portugal é o líder mundial; a Cortiça!

Schitterend hotel, vriendelijk en deskundig personeel.
Prachtige binnentuin met mooie zwembaden.
Een fijne spa, gratis shuttle naar de haven/kust van Villamoura.
Tevens een shuttle service naar de verschillende golfbanen in de buurt.
Kortom: we werden geweldig in de watten gelegd en hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!

Rien à redire. La chambre est conforme à mon attente. Pour moi, dont le déplacement sur l'Algarve était destiné à découvrir des golfs, l'emplacement est le point fort.Les petits déjeuners sont tout à fait corrects, le service est irréprochable.

Der Ort ist ist gepflegt mit viel Grün. Das Hilton Hotel Vilamoura hat mich teilweise sehr enttäuscht. Die Hotel Anlage ist großzügig und parkähnlich aufgebaut. Jedoch Service, Sauberkeit und die Qualität des Essen lassen erheblich zu wünschen übrig. Auch der umfangreiche Spa - Bereich ist nicht ausreichend gepflegt, viele Funktionen sind defekt und damit nicht nutzbar. Die Qualität der Zimmerreinigung ist unterdurchschnittlich und beim Frühstück muss man bis zu einer Stunde anstehen um einen Tisch zugewiesen zu bekommen obwohl Tische frei verfügbar sind. Während des Silvester Dinner musste ich die Getränke selbst nachgießen da das Service-Personal dazu nicht in der Lage war.

Zona privilegiada de Vilamoura com piscinas maravilhosas para adultos e crianças. Dispõem de apartamentos familiares muito bem decorados e equipados. Fantástico para famílias com crianças, fornece todas as condições para se preparar um bom pequeno almoço para adultos e bebes. Tem banheira de hidromassagem e duche. A vista para a zona das piscinas é maravilhosa. O staff é fantástico e super atencioso. As senhoras que fazem a limpeza do apartamentos foram sempre muito cuidadosas em alturas que tive de ir colocar a minha filha para dormir. Sítio a repetir sem dúvida.

This is possibly the worst 5 star hotel I have stayed at, and if this typical of Hilton hotels it will be the last time I ever stay at one of their group. The check in and room upgrade were great and that is where it stopped being great. We booked this hotel for it facilities but as it turns out this is false advertising. The simplest way to do this review is to list the problems.
I expect that this will also get a generic response as with trip advisor review.
1. Breakfast, no sparkling wine no mushrooms no grapefruit.
2. Most staff pleasant but some lacking any welcome at all.
3.6 pools advertised, 2 open
4. 5 restaurants/bars advertised, 2 open.
5. No pool bar, no pool service, pool locked until 9.00am
6. Large business conference on, so only restaurant open to us now closed for their use, we were advised graciously that we could have the a la carte in the bar or walk to the sister hotel over the road and use that.
7. Wine tasting arranged, in the sister hotel, due to business conference.
8. Indoor pool missing many tiles on bottom of pool.
So to conclude beautiful hotel and grounds just don't bother going after October as you will receive no service and be treated as second class to any business conference. Facilities are not available and frankly i think that a refund should be given for false advertising.
The only thing 5star about this hotel is the rating. We moved from Porto Bay Falesia, a 4 star hotel to try the Hilton, how we wished we had not, at least their facilities were all open.
As a general point, the climate is changing, we have had cloudless blue skies and mid 20s temperatures all week, how can you class this as closed season, time for a rethink for all hotels.

A fuir ! sauf si aimé le bruit. Les chambres sont froides avec du carrelage et vous êtes réveillée dès 7 par les femmes de ménages qui font passer l'aspi sur le carrelage très bruyant, aucune isolation ni intimité. Le SPA est top mais on peu y aller sans séjourné à l'hôtel. Le petit dej bidon et le personnel est sympa mais bon.

My partner and I spent 5 nights in the Hilton and had a brilliant stay. The room's are beautiful. The Spa 7 is absolutely amazing! Nothing was a problem for the staff. Always pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Estive neste hotel uma noite. Tenho tier de diamante e achei que não me foi dada a atenção devida mas as instalações são ok . Piscina muito mal organizada , de manhã as pessoas vão marcar as cadeiras e vao se embora , as pessoas na piscina em vez de meterem ordem renhem uma atitude como não querem saber ... não tem lounge . Pequeno almoço ok típico da cadeia. Jantei no buffet que achei ok também .

We have found the hotel to be excellent. We are here for a week and our room is lovely. We are looking out towards the golf driving range. No views of the sea as we are just over a mile inland. It is a pleasant walk down to the marina, but the hotel puts on shuttle buses to the marina and beach during the day, and to the marina at night until 10pm. Beware though as some times are very popular and you aren't guaranteed a seat so you might end up waiting for the next one or walking or getting a taxi.
The breakfast is buffet style, with a chef cooking you an omlette or making paoched eggs if you wish. Food is great and my wife who is vegetarian has no problems.
Staff are friendly and helpful and the room is cleaned every day. The fridge in the room is rather small and you automatically get charged for things that are removed, so difficlut to manage if you want to put your own things in.
The drinks and food are expensive but what can you expect from a five star Hilton hotel?
The prices at the beach club are a little better, and the beach area is great, with towels, sunbeds and parasols provided. The beach is superb, with lovely sand and miles long!
The sea (The atlantic) is a bit rougher than we have experienced on the med, with quite big waves even on fairly calm days, but it is great for surfers and body boarders. Vilamoura is a lovely place with lots of restaurants and bars, and a nice marina with the usual beautiful boats. Many worth millions of pounds. Nice to look and dream...

Most of the hotel staff were quite friendly ... but not all ! The housekeeping had to be called on several days to remind them to clean the room. Provided food was expensive and not inline with the price (get less for what you pay).

We have just returned from a very enjoyable trip staying at this hotel. The hotel is well laid out, offers good facilities with a high standard. The accommodation is very good, clean rooms with all you need to make your stay a comfortable one. Staff are friendly and efficient, the only exception to this was at breakfast where during the peak season there is a queue (sometimes quite long) every morning to get a table. The pools are excellent with an 'option for everyone'. We traveled as couple but it was obvious to see that this hotel would suit families very well indeed.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our short but lovely stay at Hilton Vilamoura. The staff is really nice and do absolutely everything in order to make you happy and give the best service possible. Our room was really spacious, we had bathroom and shower and really enjoyed the music we were able to put on in the bathroom :) The Hotel is not by the beach but offers shuttle which was great !

Beim Check-in erwähnte ich das wir einen leichten Schlaf haben und somit ein ruhiges Zimmer gerne hätten, dennoch bekamen wir ein Zimmer direkt an der Strasse sodass ich über 100 Autos pro Nacht zählen konnte aber kein ausreichender Schlaf bekam. Nach der ersten Nacht beschwerte ich mich leider ohne Erfolg , erst nach der dritten Nacht reichte es mir und ich drohte mit Check- out. Nun bekamen wir ein Angenehm ruhiges Zimmer leider mit einigen mängeln. So wie losen Toilettensitz, schlechter Klimaanlage , nicht verschliessbarer Balkontür und einiges mehr. *Zudem gibt es viele Familien mit Kleinkinder . Desweiteren befindet sich das Hotel weit ausserhalb . Empfehlung wenn überhaubt dann nur mit Mietwagen.Ich war schon in vielen 5 * Hotels Weltweit aber dieses würde ich max. mit 4* bewerten. In Dubai gibt 3* Hotels in gleicher Ausstattung. So nur zum vergleich. An der Algarve gibt es bessere 5* Hotels z.b. Salgados Duna, od. Vidamar in Albufeira .

Quite nice but I would definitely not say that it's 5 star. Also very far away from the marina and beach. You have to get a coach or taxi to get there. Food us also very expensive which we wouldn't mind if the quality was there also - it isn't!

I had a pleasure to photograph wedding at Hilton Vilamoura in January and I love it! The weather was amazing and the couple had an outdoor ceremony in garden.The event team at the hotel is very professional and friendly, which made the wedding even more special. I heard really great feedback from the guests and the couple itself. I look forward to my next wedding at Hilton Vilamoura in June 2018.

Pour un séjour court, repos assuré, calme pour le mois de fevrier, literie très confortable. Bémol pour la piscine extérieure à demi fermée : leau y est froide, donc pas daccès aux points deau existants hormis au spa ou il faut payer et ou les enfants ne peuvent y accéder que le matin.

Great hotel. Recently had a wedding on the beautiful gardens. Everything went very well. The staff very friendly and helpful. And the food was simply amazing, probably the best steak I've ever eaten! (and I've eaten a few...) The experience was great overall, you can tell you're in Portugal.
