Es wäre schön gwesen, in der Küche der Unterkunft wenigstens einen Lappen zu haben. Restauration hatte leider schlechtes Preis -Leistungsverhältnis. Viele recht hohe Extragebühren bspw für Minigolf oder das Fussball für Kinder.

On April 4th, 2019 my friend and I attended a dinner tasting with your Chef Rodrigo at Mimo. The food was great but what stemmed from it after has been an unsettling sequence of events including your chef Rodrigo flirting with me all night in front of all of the other guests, he then unsolicited/consented obtained my contact information from Mimo's directory and reaching out to try to start a relationship, I was then contacted by his wife to stop flirting with him. This is completing unacceptable behavior from their employees. I am a successful US citizen who did not sign up for anything other a dinner tasting at this establishment. Rodgrio Tiago's behavior is unprofessional and discouraging for me as well as my extensive network of people from having any future services with Mimo or their affiliates. Rodgrio's behavior is predatory like and I am certain this has not nor will be the first incident. Steer clear of this establishment if you do not want solicited stress and your contact information being misused.

Отличный отель с отличным сервисом. Светлые большие номера, чистые, хорошая шумоизоляция. Есть апартаменты с кухней. Рестораны, бассейны, гольфполе. Большая зеленая территория, на пляж спуск вниз на лифте и ступеньки. Отличный вариант для романтического отдыха и отдыха семьёй.

Very nice facilities and access to the beach. We greatly appreciated the playground area for our daughter, and used the gym extensively. The resort is rather large and it can initially be difficult to find the way around. We did not know to go to the hotel to check in during the winter season, so got lost for a while...

The resort is gorgeous but the area is nothing special. Albufeira is pretty run down full of the classic low quality English pub and sports bar type of entertainment, cheap and dingy. The only bad part of this resort is the food, ridiculously expensive for average quality food. Would go back but with a little better research of the area

Tenho vídeos que comprovam a bicharada dentro dos quartos até á falta de formação das pessoas que aqui trabalham até á desgraça do pequeno almoço !!! Não recomendo de forma absolutamente nenhuma !!!!!!!!........Além dos 500 euros por dia .............

A fantastic five-star resort, set in grounds that really are quite beautiful. The staff are brilliant and can genuinely not do enough for you.
Pine Cliffs offer a range of activities such as Golf, Tennis and Spa and beauty treatments, there are also several pools and a private beach with amazing views of the Algarve.
However is it quite pricey for things like food and drinks.

Stayed at this hotel in early October and found that what we were placed on a room facing the parking lot above the service entrance. Every night at 12:25 A. M. there were trucks emptying bottles or other noise materials and a lot of loud arguing by employees. Asked to be moved ..no other rooms available. How is that for a lifetime platinum member! very poor reception.

Great place. The apartment I stayed in was well equipped with kitchen utensils, modern and stylish. The beds were large (even the single beds) and comfortable. The food was great, with a large selection of Mediterranean and Western food. The gym is great (10/10), clean, modern and well kept. Overall a great place.

Had room S611, looking towards the Residence Reception.Staff excellent throughout.Had complimentary 2 bottles of water every day plus chocolates at night, also the cleaner put the dishwasher on for us.Resort was very clean.Limited upmarket restaurants outside of the hotel.

Perfect resort for the perfect holiday. With so many options inside the resort there is almost no need to leave it. There are a lot of facilities inside the resort: indoor&outdoor pool, spa, restaurants, gym, bar, private beach and more. We stayed at the new rooms that were just perfect with all new and luxury design. The service from all the resort employees is the best. Highly reccomended!!!

this is not a 5 star hotel! we reserved a table in a restaurant which got cancelled. they said they have a big group coming. today, mc donalds employees are all over the place. we cannot sleep due to the loud music outside. breakfast buffet is good for a three star hotel. the location is great though, as well as the attention of the employees.

Every evening started at the Hotel’s Champagne Bar overlooking the beach followed by dinner and cocktails at the beachfront restaurant while watching our kids playing on the beach. The days were spent in the pool, playing tennis and watching the kids take part in all the daily activities. They loved the pirate ship, self drive buggy cars and visit to the nearby water park...all in all we had a fantastic family holiday.

We had a fabulous time at Pine Cliffs Residence. The resort is expansive and has all the amenities one would desire for a family. The only one thing we felt was lacking was the quality and cost of food and beverages at the resort. For the extremely high prices you were paying the food was mediocre. Much better quality food and at a fraction of the cost could be found easily in any of the towns and villages nearby.

quite a few reviews mentioning poor service - the hotel usually posts back saying comments are taken seriously and changes will be made, but i cant see anything changing. really a shame as the staff service lets down what is a really great place.

Ein traumhaftes Resort mit tollem Service, freundlichem Personal, super Strand und wunderschöner Aussicht. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Ocean view. Sehr geräumig und mit großer Terrasse. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt. Nicht ganz günstig, aber es lohnt sich jeder Cent. Wir kommen wieder!

A fantastic family resort, the grounds were spectacular probably the best we have seen. Handy access to the ocean, magnificent sunsets. Quiet resort, very relaxing. Hotel Service excellent. We had a wonderful stay. Also great amenities if you play golf, tennis or cycle. Hotel restaurants a little pricier but they are handy. There are other restaurants outside the resort that are close by if you are looking for more price competitive meals. Would definitely come back.

Amazing resort. Grown up visiting this resort and honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Have such incredible memories here, the whole resort is breathtaking. Stayed in the Ocean Suites in recent years which is lovely, lovely staff and great rooms.

Just come back from a cheeky little 4 days in Portugal and my wife booked this bplace as our base to have a look around the Algarve. Great little all encompassing resort, you wouldn't have to leave the place if you like swimming, eating, golf, tennis... but it's a 20 minute walk along the beautiful beach to Olha Do Aguas, or a 4 mile walk to Vilamoura if you fancy a trek. Service was awesome. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but thats what you get in place this gorgeous.

Schönes Hotel, etwas Abseits gelegen. Deshalb ist aus unserer Sicht ein Mietwagen notwendig. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Leider herrscht beim Frühstück regelmäßig Chaos, vor allem, wenn man wie wir spät frühstückt. Das ist kein 5 Sterne Niveau.
Strand und Strandbar sind top. Ebenso erstklassig ist die Bar an der Klippe. Leider werden Stammgäste nicht erkannt. Wir waren schon oft in diesem Hotel, immer mit Mietwagen und nicht in der Hauptsaison.

Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff but the noisiest 5star hotel we have ever been and it was not even half booked. Kids are allowed everywhere, except the fitness and indoor pool but well, these are no place I like to stay the whole day. In all restaurants there was running and screaming and food on the floor. There was not one corner where we could sit and enjoy a nice meal as a couple. Additionally we booked in the same time a wedding was taking place. Gardening maintanance with heavy machines in front of the main building started at 7am and the party went on until long after midnight. There was no sorry for the inconvenience or pre-information about that topic by the management and even though we complained about the gardening incident, none of the managers felt that he or she should call us back or do something else to make us feel like appreciated guests. Well. Bottom line: there is a clear line between beeing good and beeing perfect. A 5star hotel should be perfect. Especially if it charges prices for rooms, food and treatments like the pinecliffs does.

Management (we asked 3 times to have our bathroom sink unclogged)
Overall, for how much the resort cost to stay, the quality was not there. I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone else interested in staying in the Algarve.

Ein tolles Hotel. Keine Frage. Tolles Essen freundliches Personal an der Rezeption.. schöne Zimmer... 5 Stern Qualität. Nur wer hier auf einen ruhigen Urlaub hofft ist fehl am Platz. Überall Lärm... die Zimmerreinigungen dauern oft bis in den späten Nachmittag. Leider nicht erholsam.Wir wollten Urlaub machen. Jedoch es ist überall Lärm.. Golfmobile. Maintainancemobile. Kinder. Cafehaus. Wir dachten ein Golfhotel wäre für Menschen die Ruhe im Urlaub wollen. Doch ihr habt ein Kinder- und Eventhotel daraus gemacht. 2 Events in einer Woche..mit Lärm bis in die Nacht... sonst schreiende Kinder bis spät in die Nacht.
Weiters ist die Organisation im Frühstücksraum eine Katastrophe. Das Personal ist unmotiviert zu arbeiten sehr langsam... reagieren nicht wenn man sie ruft. Qualität der Durchführung und das Management des Frühstücks ist ganz schlecht und eines Fünf-Sterne-Hotels nicht würdig. Der Zimmerservice funktioniert auch nicht wir mussten mehrmals nach Wasser fragen. Meines Erachtens ist irgend etwas falsch mit dem Management des gesamten Hotels. Ihr wollt nur Gäste herholen aber ihr könnt der Qualität die man bezahlt und die man sich auch erhofft, nicht standhalten.
Bei der Rezeption und Concierge sind die Menschen sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend und auch die Torbuben, die das Gebäck verwahren, sind sehr freundlich.
Die Zimmermädchen brauchen sehr lange und wir mussten extra fragen dass unser Zimmer schon gegen Mittag fertig ist.
Alles in allem... eine mächtige Enttäuschung... das Hotel hält nicht was es vorgibt zu sein.

Nous avions réservé 3 nuits dans la suite de l'hôtel (environ 400€/nuit ! ) et avons le sentiment clair d'avoir été trompé. Nous nous attendions à un 5 étoiles mais les services quand ils ne sont pas facturés sont de niveaux 2 étoiles. L'espace Petit Déjeuner (il y en a plusieurs mais aucun ne nous a été particulièrement conseillé et certains sont payants en plus) est un self service (avec des produits entrée de gamme, sans surprise) en sous sol, la terrasse est un couloir qui donne accès à la terrasse sur Jardin mais qui elle est ouverte au restaurant payant. Les piscines ne sont pas chauffées, il n'y a pas de services autour de la piscine ou à la plage. Le bar avec la plus belle vue ferme à 20:00. Le restaurant bar de plage n'est ouvert que le midi et c'est un supplément, encore. C'est une offre type "club de vacances" dans un cadre certes magnifique mais sans attention particulière. Pour en profiter il faut payer encore, malgré le prix des chambres. Je ne recommande pas du tout pour un couple sans enfant qui cherche simplement un moment de confort digne d'un véritable hôtel. NB : je passe les serviettes avec quelquechose (???) écrasée dedans. Nous avions averti le concierge mais aucun retour, aucun mot.... par contre le couteau livré en chambre est bien facturé 5 euros. Cela résumé a peu près ces 3 jours perdus dans ce resort.

The 1 star is only for the fantastic work from the restaurant staff.
But unfortunately front desk and concierge are very unhelpful and rude!
Broke my foot on site and after arriving from hospital we tried to call front desk for about 2 hrs to try to see if they had a wheelchair available and simply they were transferring our call to several different people ( that we had to explain thousand of times over and over again why we were looking for a wheelchair) and they couldn’t not answer our question! And also several times the call got “disconnected “.
This was so far the worst travel experience we had regarding customer service!

Beautiful resort, well maintained and amazing pools and grounds. Rooms are well equipped and a good size and very clean. Downside was the food quality should have been a lot better for a 5 star resort. Some waiters weren't overly helpful and friendly. Playground for children a little sparse more equipment could have been on offer. Had to pay for extra activities crazy golf etc. Wonderful weather.

Este hotel es de lo mejor que hay en el Algarve. Es un recinto cerrado, con seguridad, así que toda la familia puede estar tranquila. Se pueden realizar innumerables actividades como clases de cocina, gimnasio, SPA (muy recomendable), etc. Tiene unos restaurantes muy buenos, piscinas y acceso directo a la playa (Praia da Falésia), con restaurante también en la playa. Muy recomendable.

Great place, beautiful grounds, numerous restaurants, excellent service from staff.....generally highly recommended but there are some negatives.
In other high end resorts like this little ancillary services are thrown in for free, but not here. Kids club has to be booked days in advance as numbers are limited (why can't the resort have a kids club big enough to cope with number of guests?) and cost €25 per half day, face painting costs €7...there are lots of little examples of the resort trying winkle out money from guests for things that are complimentary elsewhere. Another minor gripe but something other guests commented on (and my out groups shivering children confirmed) was that the swimming pool water is strangely very cold...even in peak August season. Seems odd, and perhaps it should be heated just a couple of degrees.
The above gripes should not detract from what is a superb resort but for a slightly smaller and more intimate resort guests could consider Vilalara Thalassa resort 20mins up the road.

Disappointing resort. Not 5 star as advertised. Service is poor and impersonal. Everything costs exorbitant amounts eg cup of nespresso 3.50€, chocolate milkshake 8€, hire of tennis/Padel court for 1hr 45€. Buffet food is terrible and costs 120+€ for 2 adults and 2 kids. The management needs to up their game significantly. At present the run a 3 star resort at best.

Un encadrement de porte en marbre est tombé sur la tête de mon fils qui a souffert pendant 3 jours ! Cet accident est très grave Deux personnes sont venus pour constater et faire réparer les dégâts matériels mais ne nous on fait aucun retour concernant l’etat De santé de notre fils. Nous sommes très déçus d’avoir eu aucune considération pour notre enfant et ne comprenons absolument pourquoi nous n’avons pas eu de geste commercial (a part, et c’est honteux ! De nous offrir un apéritif .....).

Fabulous hotel, lovely well kept grounds.
Rooms are nice, the hotel were able to accommodate our request to put 2 rooms together.
Location is good and there are plenty of options for bars / restaurants. The staff are mostly friendly although a few exceptions! Nuno on reception was very helpful - thanks.
Would wholeheartedly recommend a visit. I hope you like my aerial pictures.

This hotel looks like a 5 star and charges like a 5 star but I am being generous when i say every experience you have is 2 star. There are so many ridiculous things that go on that I cannot count them all. I would advise anyone thing of staying here to find another hotel.

Fantastic luxury resort fit for the family with something for everyone. Lots of pools to choose from and of course the breath taking beach with views in all angles. The buffet style meals were great for the kids and they could pick exactly what they wanted. We didn’t stay in main hotel but we stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas with full kitchen and family room and the shuttle service was great. We will definitely go back and stay even longer. Overall impeccable grounds and beautifully maintained.

Its not a 5 star hotel. Beautiful location. Terrible management. There is no even bottles of water in the rooms. Waiting lines everywhere- to get a table, to get an omelette. Waiter refuse to bring me breakfast(I have a broken arm)- said only self-service. Ive ordered shuttle-bus and waited 30 min on the road! Called to reception 5 times.. Stupid system with card for towels! Refused to get a towel on the beach for a wet kid because I didn’t have a card! Food is ok, service is bad(except one water from seafood restaurant). One day we were given used bread basket and even haven’t received any apologies and!! It was added to our bill! So overall i didn’t feel relaxed and didn’t enjoy my time here.

The check in was really long, and my girlfriend have to wait 4 hours in the lobby, arrived at 3PM check in at 7PM, they said the room was not ready, more disappointed was at 11h30PM was a man inside our bathroom inside the room, we said was a mistake... was very uncomfortable and feel unsecured

Excellent hotel & facilities, great for families. Stayed in the Residense Apartments which are beautifully appointed, Service at hotel is excellent along with great restaurants, sports and swimming. Highly recommended.

Overall the style and quality of the accommodation was great, but t was let down badly by the service at the restaurants and the availability of staff at key times.We stayed for the 7 days before half term and the first 3 days of half term. For a luxury resort you expect the service to be on point, unfortunately it was poor - hour waits for food, no shuttle availability due to lack of drivers, incorrect bills, orders taken incorrectly, 45 min waits when told 5 mins for luggage to be picked up, having to ask several times for food orders and menus... etc.! Although all small things, they are all unnecessary and avoidable, with two small children in tow in takes the edge of a good holiday, especially considering the price. We were not the only ones who noticed as we spoke to several others who were unimpressed. When reported at reception, little notice was taken and we were given the managers email to complain! All a bit lack lustre!We have previously stayed - and returned - to several child orientated luxury resorts in the Algarve and in Greece and thought we would try Pine Cliffs given the reviews, however I will not be returning.

A gorgeous property with loads of potential, but some unacceptable shortfalls for a five-star property. We found that the staff didn't know where things were located or what times restaurants/activities opened. The indoor pool requires a swim cap which is listed on the property's website but we didn't catch this prior to arrival. The kids club looked lovely but the hosted activities are infrequent and expensive (Example: 8 EUR for a movie night per child). During our visit in May, only 3 of the hotel's dozen restaurants were open. The buffet cost was 46 EUR per person but had slim offerings - and an up-charge of 4 EUR for ice cream. During the evening bird show, the presenters tried to sell us photos. No joke, this was done during the show. The grounds are impeccable and the setting is lovely, but this is a four-star property.

We loved this resort. Very relaxing, lovely modern hotel with light spacious, well appointed rooms. There a nice selection of clean and well kept pool areas on the cliff top, lovely places to shelter from sun on the grass, under the trees - but an even more impressive beach below, with a wonderful beach bar too.
There are quite a few restaurants dotted around the resort and it's worth venturing out to visit them rather than sticking with the main hotel eateries.

Die Anlage ist sehr zu empfehlen.Wir hatten eine voll ausgestattete Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. Tollem Wohnzimmer Drei kleine Balkone. Es gab eine Waschmaschine, Trockner und Geschirrspülmaschine.Man braucht die Anlage für den Urlaub eigentlich nicht verlassen. Es gibt einen Zugang zum Strand, wo von März ab ein Restaurant von mehreren gibt. Es sind mehrere Außenpools vorhanden. Es gibt einen tollen Innenpool mit Gym und 2 kleinen Saunen.Das Frühstück war super.Tennisplätze sind ebenso vorhanden. Es war ein Vergnügen hier urlauben zu dürfen.

Absolutely amazing place with stunning ocean views. My wife and I along with our 18 month old son had great experience. They have lots of restaurants and places to visit within their own estate. We even found a restaurant to cater for my Vegan diet (Zest). Highly recommended and for golfers you won't be disappointed with the breathtaking views both on and off the course. Only downside is the food at the restaurants can be expensive (£45 per head for a carvery dinner at Jardim Cordinal), which for what we ate was not exactly worth it. However other restaurants make up for this such as Zest and others.

For a 5 star resort your paying through the nose for you'd definitely expect 5 star service. This is something we definitely did NOT get. Firstly I'll start with the positives for balance. It's a beautiful setting with lovely rooms and once you've shelled our 25 euros each which is extortionate for a breakfast, that part was quite nice with a lovely spread. Is that worth 25 euros? No, unless your planning on having bubbly. We stayed in the deluxe 2 bed room flat which was lovely. However they supply no water, no washing up liquid for the sink and not even tea and coffee. Our friends staying in the hotel had all of this! Annoying but we got over it as there's a supermarket outside the hotel we could stock up at. The worst bit which ruined our stay however was how the staff constantly let us down. First disappointment - when we asked for a taxi for 7 people to take us into town they said it was a 15 min wait. 45 mins later and 3 follow ups with staff, they said the taxi company was at fault and let us down, and they could only get us one 4 seat. The fact they took no responsibility and we had to continue to check back was so shoddy. Not to mention that we had more people than the one car they 'managed' to get. That ruined our dinner plans and we had to go somewhere locally which wasn't nice and we were delayed by nearly an hour before we found a place with seats that could take us. Second disappointment - the next morning it took us an hour being passed between different members of staff and offices to ascertain if we could book a tennis court. No one took responsibility to try and help us and we were left very frustrated. Finally we spoke to someone who said the courts were booked all morning but they could give us noon. Not ideal but ok we'll take it. So we went on a walk, which took us past the empty tennis courts to only find out after we questioned staff that they were free. Plans ruined. The last straw (and disappointment number 3) was trying to get someone to help with our bags. Mind you we are a 15 min walk from reception and had a 25kg golf bag alongside our other luggage. They said they couldn't accommodate us as the car was busy and we had to walk. After my friend stated we had a large golf bag then they miraculously had a transfer that could grab us. The fact that we are paying for a 5 star resort and not getting 5 star service made me really disappointed. It pretty much ruined my holiday. Invest in customer service training and personal responsibility. Nobody showed this!!

Overall a fantastic resort of hotel and self-catering apartments. Great facilities in a lovely environment, with first-class customer service. Golf course good for beginners and the golf packages offered are good value.
The main negative point was the value for money at the on-site restaurants. To eat a simple buffet meal in the grill restaurant for two adults and a 12 and 13 year-old was £200+ per night with a bottle of wine; other restaurants were more expensive. It wasn't so much the price but the feeling of value for money - we ate more cheaply in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Lisbon the same week! We therefore self-catered most nights - and paradoxically would have spent a lot more money in the resort restaurants if they had been better value.

Très grand et beau site. Les maisons (mitoyennes) sont grandes et très confortables. La plage en bas de la falaise est magnifique. L'offre en restaurant est assez pauvre dans son rapport qualité/prix.

Appartement spacieux et très bien agencé. Terrasse sur toutes les pièces et 2 salles de bails.Le resort est très grand mais on shabitue très vite aux 7 piscines. Seul bémol, aucune indication des cartes et prix des restaurants qui se sont avérés très chers. Supérette juste à côté permet de profiter de la terrasse pour le petit déjeuner et lapéro !En bref une semaine de rêve.

Séjour très agréable et reposant au pied du golf dans un écrin de verdure. Accès plage de toute beauté, au pied des falaises dune couleur extraordinaire! Appartement de 4 personnes très joli : cuisine très bien équipée (lave vaisselle, mixeur, presse agrumes...), machine à laver et sèche linge et équipement bébé inclus à la demande (chaise haute, baignoire, barriere de protection, lit bébé...). On sy sent comme chez soi!

Erholsame Woche, sehr gepflegte Anlage, grosszügige Ausstattung der Suiten, sehr gute Betten mit Top Matratzen, Daunenbetten, hochwertigen Badetücher, viele Kleiderschränke mit Innenbeleuchtung, genügend Kleiderbügel, Schubladen etc. I infach alles da, was man braucht, ebenso die Küchenausstattung spitze, täglich Maidservice, wie im Hotel, alles sehr sauber,4 Pools, sehr gut, Strand sehr schön, Golfplatz, Tennis, Squash, Minigolf etc...

Wir waren in den Osterferien mit unserer 6jährigen Tochter und den Zwillingen im Alter von 10 Monaten im 2-Bedroom-Apartment. Der Standard der Zimmer ist toll, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit allem was man für die Verpflegung zwischendurch oder auch zum gelegentlichen Kochen abends braucht und das Vorhandensein von Waschmaschine und Trockner ist ein nicht zu unterschätzendes Plus mit Kindern. Auch die Kinderbetreuung im Porto Pirata, selbst für die ganz Kleinen, hat super funktioniert. Sie haben sehr qualifizierte und liebevolle Erzieherinnen und sind gut organisiert. Wir haben uns dadurch toll erholen können, obwohl das Wetter leider nicht gut war. Einziger Wehmutstropfen sind die Restaurants, die ok sind, aber deren Standard eines 5 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig sind. Aber dafür kann man notfalls auf die eigene Küche zurück greifen. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Einfahrt zum HOtel oder auch im Casa Pinecliffs - der ist allerdings teuer. Der gesamte Hotel- und Apartmentkomplex ist sehr weitläufig und durch den innenliegenden Golfplatz schön grün. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist phantastisch und der Strand sehr weitläufig und toll gepflegt. Wir fahren sicherlich noch häufiger dort hin.

We vacationed with our 2 kids and stayed in one of the apartments. It was perfect! The apartment was on the ground floor and each room had sliding glass doors onto a patio that overlooked the gardens and golf course. The kids played out on the grass while we lounged on the patio with a glass of wine after a full day at the beach. To get to the beach from our apartment was a 10 min walk but worth it; the grounds of this establishment are very well taken care of and the flowers amazing. There is also a shuttle you can take to the hotel and then walk down to the beach, but the shuttles only run about twice an hour. It may be more often in peak months. The breakfast buffet each morning was so over the tops; something for everyone. We ate a few times in the restaurants, but like others have said, it can get expensive. The staff was courteous and accommodating, but very business like. English was gladly spoken every where. The lunch buffet down at the beach restaurant for 15 euros was a great deal each day-lots of fresh fish and salads. Between that and the breakfast, alls youd need for dinner was a small salad and a glass of wine! This stay was worth every euro-wed definitely go back!
