Managed to get a table on an extremely busy night. Although service was slow to start off with, it soon picked up and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Great choice of food which was well cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. Helders was recommended by a fellow tourist and I'm glad we took up the recommendation.

Atendimento simpático. Comida bem confeccionada e saborosa. Com preços acima dos 10 euros por prato o que é justificado pela qualidade, quantidade e o sabor.

Café não e nada de especial assim como o atendimento.
NÃO RECOMENDO este local.
O pedido foi galão frio como tinha pedido.
Mas 1,60€ por um Galão e muito caro o normal é de 1€ a 1,10€ não 1,60€.
A pala de arrogância denunciei local a Google assim como o comentário do dono deste estabelecimento.

Muy buen trato. Vinimos con un niño de 3 años y estuvimos muy a gusto. La comida de calidad y a buen precio. Los aseos limpios.

This is a very friendly place with an owner who speaks various languages. He makes all guests welcome. His staff are helpful and proactive. He accomodates all sports fans with his sports channels. The food is very good value for money. Well worth a visit.

Nothing special... Spare ribs is actually 2 grilled ribs, not American style bbq ribs as some might expect. Fish and chips - simpky fried fish with very little bater, not exactly an english fish and chips.

Personnel très sympathique, le patron a fait l´effort de parler en français et nous a enseigné les bases en portugais. Les plats étaient très bons et les desserts typiques vraiment délicieux!

great restaurants, especially for tourists. the waiter was a great guy, chatted a bit with us about the food and the region. the dishes were good in taste and quality. only the swordfish tasted quite dull. all the others are good to go, without hesidation. for the british tourists: they even have fish and chips ;) desserts are great!

Lovely fresh food, beautifully cooked and presented, combined with excellent service. Very friendly staff, excellent English spoken and nothing is too much trouble for them. We keep going back, again and again!

Sehr nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen. Habe mal statt Fisch in der Fleischregion rumprobiert und wurde nicht enttäuscht, „Schweine Medaillons mit Feigensauce“ war eine echt leckere Kombi. Die Bedienung war auch sehr nett und sehr zuvorkommend, auch wenn sie bei der Bedienung nicht die Schallmauer durchbrochen haben, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Very kind and helpful wait staff who are great interacting with children. Nice selection of wine and some pretty good food, too. Reasonable prices, but you won't come back for the scenery.

Was recommended by 2 neighbouring tourist. Was 2 mins walk from our apartment. Friendliest greeting we've had since our arrival. Food was hot and speedy and tasty. The Portuguese potatoes delicious!!!

Stimmiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit sehr persönlichem Service. Wir waren mehrmals dort. Fleisch, Fisch, Bratkartoffeln sehr apetitlich. Vorwiegend englisches Gäste.

Great food, great staff. Loved our night. Spent time with myself to recommend red Portuguese wine to show to my friends at home. The place is nothing special but definitely a place to go! Yes I would go again.

I've been visiting Helders for more years than I can remember and always get a great welcome when I arrive. The bar has always been good for light meals, snacks and drinks. The wide screen televisions show all major sporting events.
Over the last couple of years Helder has added a restaurant adjacent to the bar which serves excellent food. Looking forward to my next visit!

Franchement pour le midi les prix sont trop élevés pour la qualité du produit. Un burger à 5 euros bacon et fromage : le pain n'est pas grillé, donc le fromage n'est pas fondant, pas de sauces dedans, pas de salade et pas du tout de frites... La viande n'était pas ouf... Peut être que la carte est mieux pour le soir mais passez votre chemin le midi c'est sur. Le reste de la carte est basique et pas du tout typique portugaise (même si certains avis le disent)

La partie snack le midi est franchement pas terrible, burger avec le pain pas grillé, le fromage pas fondu.
5 nuggets pour 9€ ... Même Mac do est meilleur au niveau quantite-prix pour une qualité égale
Pas d'accompagnement avec le hamburger
Salade ok mais sans plus
Ne peut pas dire pour la partie bar ou pour la partie restaurant .. On ne nous a même pas donné la carte du restaurant, on pensait que ce n'etait que un snack

Nice place, good food and friendly staff! You can also watch games on all the TVs available in the restaurant. Prices are decent, not too high you can taste the Piri Piri chicken for less than 10euros and it's delicious!

Sitio perfecto para parar a comer. El arroz caldoso estaba muy rico, y no es caro. Tienen bar y restaurant. Puedes comer desde hamburguesas y sandwiches hasta cataplanas o pescados. El camarero muy amable nos aconsejó muy bien.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen waren wir hier essen und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch , es war alles sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier.

Najo sam se kao pas, srećom je plaža blizu da odem spavati u more. Prvi val me izbacio na obalu izgledao sam kao leš. Srećom me nisu bacili natrag u more pa sam malo odspavao. Portugalci su vrlo dragi ljudi. Netko me pokrio ručnikom da ne ozebem.

Peut être un peu trop cher pour la qualité du burger et des frites. À la vue des précédents commentaires on s'attendait à quelque chose de meilleur et plus local... Le service du soir est probablement de meilleur qualité que celui du midi.

Je vous conseille la cataplana de peixe pour les amateurs de poissons. Fabuleux. Personnel agréable. Enfin un restaurant ou on retrouve les spécialités portugaises.
Apparemment riz aux crustacés à recommander également.

Wir kamen aufgrund der guten Reviews, wurden aber leider enttäuscht.
Kleiner Mikrowellen-Burger ohne Sauce (Ketchup wurde nachgereicht...) für 5.80€. Pommes kosten extra. Bei McDonalds besser!
5 Miesmuscheln, welche zwar gross waren und gut schmeckten (darum 2 Sterne), jedoch ohne richtige Sauce und ohne Beilagen (nur Orangenstücken und Brot). Und das für beinahe 10€.
Eines der schlechtesten Restaurants unseres Algarve-Besuchs.

The food was below average even for tourist standards. Hamburger was microwaved and stuck to the paper under it. Sausages were uneatable. Salads had a soapy taste. Service was really good and friendly.

Freundliches Personal, schöne Atmosphäre, gut zum Draussensitzen. Eignet sich auch zum Frühstücken und ganztags gibt es Snacks. Wer möchte kann auch zwischen einigen vollwertigen Gerichten wählen. Gemeinsames Fussball Gucken bei einem Bier gibt es hier ebenfalls häufiger.
Wer aus dem Gebiet Rocha Brava / Vale Centeanes nicht extra in den Ort laufen möchte findet hier alles was er braucht, dh daneben auch eine gute Pizzeria, einen Spar-Markt und einen Geldautomat.

Top service and you can't beat the friendliness of the boss. Francisco is a lovely man and all of the staff will do there best to make your holiday a happy one. The food is of a very good standard and very tasty. Thanks to all the staff for helping make our stay a very pleasant one.

Comida boa, mas uma ma gestão de uma situação mais desagradável que aconteceu, que veio um cabelo comprido no meio do almoço e o homem que trabalha lá ainda disse que eu ja tinha comido bem, quando ainda faltava comer metade do que tinha vindo. Nao se mostrou preocupado com a situação...
