Penso que até seja um bom hotel....achei exagerado uma sopa custar 4€... ainda que o Hotel seja de 4 estrelas..ou 5... está próximo da estação de metro Jardim do Morro ou General Torres (Linha D) no entanto fica numa rua que é, em parte, perigosa à noite. Quem está a descer a rua, depois do Hotel tem uns terrenos que poderia perfeitamente serem parte integrante do Hotel e assim era uma maneira de o próprio hotel enquanto empresa ter mais espaço,porque nas fotografias até é bonito mas chega-se ao local e parece que está tudo muito junto e parece que foi um projecto feito de repente,s se pensar muito bem na área geográfica, afinal os únicos monumentos mais próximos são a Real Companhia Velha e a Serra do Pilar, visto que este Hotel encontra-se numa zona neutra.

Located across the bridge, a short (but hilly) walk from the Metro. Located in a very quiet neighborhood. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean but had sound transmission issues - we could hear other guests and also staff when they walked down the hallway. Decor was over the top. Wifi was soooo slow. There is a free shuttle service but we never used it. Breakfast spread was great! Lots of options, including hot foods (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon) and fresh fruit.

Les + : petit-déjeuner, literie, personnel sympathique, hôtel bien situé.Les - : organisation peu professionnelle ( chambre pas prête à 17h00 ! Bon, ils nous ont offert un Porto pour nous faire patienter...40 minutes, Appel téléphonique à 23h pour nous demander de payer une consommation alors que nous ne sommes pas allés au bar ! Au moment de quitter lhôtel, le réceptionniste nous réclame de nouveau le paiement de cette bière....Enfin, la décoration est très fleurie et dorée...

Close to metro and private and quiet. Walking distance to everything. Very warm and friendly service. Best breakfast! Enjoyed my stay.Traveled alone so no problem for a single woman.

Had a lovely 4-nights stay at the Rubens Hotel in Gaia. Very delightful place, clean & with nice complimentary toiletries ;). The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet has a good variety & speed of refills ensures all items are available for grab. The hotel is also a very short walk from a view point & the Luis I bridge, and also from Porto city centre. Will definitely choose to stay in Rubens Gaia again when returning to the area.

Bequemes Bett, sehr gute Matratze. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Ein wirklich tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Leider ließ das Badezimmer zu wünschen übrig. So eng, dass man/frau sich nicht darin aufhalten konnte, ohne vorher die Tür zu schliesen. Die Haken für die Handtücher fielen von der Wand bei Benutzung und die Ablage für Handtücher kam uns entgegen.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel . The Staff all very attentive and polite and room was small but new with good quality feeling . The breakfast was excellent with great choices .

Um buffet de almoço muito variado. Muitas entradas mas infelizmente tudo servido frio e há coisas como pataniscas, salgadinhos e etc que beneficiariam se estivessem quentinhas. Os pratos principais estavam bons. O buffet das sobremesas era normal, não houve nada que deslumbrasse. Atendimento muito simpático e atencioso. A decoração do espaço é avassaladora, muitos estilos misturados que rotundam numa miscelânea duvidosa. Restaurante decididamente para turista.

Adorei a experiência neste estabelecimento , atendimento muito prestável , e o restaurante muito bela .

Es un lugar para recendar hermoso!!!

A recuperação do antigo Palacete aqui existente, foi brilhantemente conseguido. A “Torre do Relógio “ está lindíssima. A decoração dos espaços comuns está muito agradável. O quarto embora pequeno, tinha tudo o que é preciso para a passagem de uma noite. Sugiro ao hotel que disponibilizem também almofadas baixas, já que nem toda a gente gosta de almofadas altas e no meu quarto estavam 4 almofadas mas todas elas muito altas. A localização é excelente, com proximidade ao metro e só poderá ser problema para quem chega de carro, porque o parque de estacionamento é muito pequeno e a rua muito estreita para poder estacionar.

Muy mala ubicación, sin transporte al centro a pesar q lo anuncian y la habitacion muy pequeña y el baño no cabe ni una persona , la bolsa de aseo en el suelo !! Con eso esta todo dicho en recepcion no saben ni siquiera si se ve la tve española nos gastamos un dinero en taxis y uber

The staff were courteous and friendly, The room was spacious and very clean. The bed comfortable with quality linen and ample pillows. Bathroom had modern fixtures and, like the room, very clean. The breakfast was the best weve had in 4 weeks travelling throughout Portugal. The location was not bad; quiet and seemingly safe with a 10 minute walk to Ponte Luiz bridge. The property decor reminded me of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. We would stay here again.

Nous avons aimé la situation , la propreté , le calme , l’état général de l’hôtel ainsi que l’amabilité du personnel. Nous avons moins aimé la décoration dans l’hotel (heureusement plus sobre dans la chambre) , le bar qui n’est pas du tout accueillant ni cosy et qui ne possède pas de réfrigérateur , donc pas de boissons fraîches !

Chambres un peu sombres mais ambiance globale agreable et un restaurant très très bon bien que peu rapide en service

Die Unterkunft war gut erreichbar, so dass man aus der Stadt bequem zum Hotel laufen konnte. Frühstück war top, Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Nach der Reise haben wir festgestellt, dass das Hotel uns doppelt abgebucht hat. Wir haben noch am Tag der Rückreise angerufen um das Problem zu beheben. Das Hotel hat den Fehler eingesehen. Jedoch mussten wir noch fünf mal anrufen wobei uns jedes Mal versprochen wurde, dass wir eine Rückerstattung erhalten. Bis heute haben sie es nicht auf die Reihe bekommen das Geld zu überweisen. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht von dem mangelndem Service, da wir den Service vor Ort eigentlich sehr gut fanden. Das legt leider einen Schatten über unsere gute Erfahrung in dem Hotel selbst.. Schade.

Das Hotel ist noch sehr neu, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Neben dem netten Personal ist vor allem die tolle Lage hervorzuheben, die es ermöglicht, in wenigen Minuten die Innenstadt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch Straßenbahn und Bus sind ganz in der Nähe.

New & clean accommodations.Friendly staff.New facility- still working out some bugs in room and service. Room not made up upon arrival and after 4 PM after first night. Leaking shower connections/towel hook fell of wall.Breakfast was ok. Also seemed early on learning curve. Location required a decent walk to other activities- shuttle only runs until 5 PM. Parking at 7.5 euro per day... eh,

Excellent hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they do whatever is necessary to be sure you are comfortable. Outstanding rooms and very quiet at night. Loved that I was able to control the AC. Excellent breakfast, fresh and with a good variety. The hotel is located in the Gais side so is quite and more relaxed but just a short walk to the Luis bridge. The hotel also has a shuttle service that will take you into Porto. Definitely would recommend this hotel and stay there if I’m in the area again.

Everything was perfect! The customer service to the cleanliness to the breakfast ad dinner buffet. They really care about the customer and do whatever it is to satisfy their needs. Would recommend this facility.

Unexpected delight - we booked at last minute but Rubens turned out to be a perfect location for Porto. It’s on the Gaia side of the river so it’s quieter but very close to all the port companies, and Rubens has a Magic Train shuttle that takes you to downtown. Would definitely stay again.

I like the set up with the decoration in the lobby.I like the convenient parking Our room was very clean and dark about the size of a cruise ship cabin.Breakfast was very good: fresh berries and all.

Ótimo, jantei sexta feira um excelente arroz de marisco, hoje voltei para provar o buffet, uma variedade incrível, os pratos principais divinos, super recomendo, uma massa de bacalhau que nunca tinha comido, adorei, parabéns a todos, simpatia ao atendimento e preços excelentes!!

Isto é o típico "para inglês ver" quem tem standards altos isto fica muito aquém. 4 estrelas na zona onde se encontra? Isto é a brincar amigos, instalações pequenas, parece que foi projectado pra ser feito num rápido, o restaurante fica muito aquém do esperado até comida fria se serve neste espaço, o restaurante típico português(tasco) na rua logo acima do hotel tem mais qualidade e pelo menos a comida é servida na temperatura que é suposto. A não repetir.

Lugar aconchegante e excelente gastronomia. Vale passar por lá.

I was in via gaia to go port tasting, this place is slightly off the path but they have a shuttle that will get you into Porto. Great service , nice bar and restaurant.. and one of the best tasting tours is just a few feet away Real Companhia Velha!! This is a new place with few reviews.. highly recommended !

Comimos en el restaurante, bufett. Buena calidad. Variedad. Algunos producros y postres, no los reponen cuándo se acaban. Buena atencion. Precio 12.50 bufett, Bebida aparte 3€ una cerveza.

Muito muito bom, agora ainda melhor porque tem frigobar e cofre, tudo espetacular e piscina que anteriormente ainda não estava concluída. Estadia maravilhosa

Hotel Novo, luxuoso, quarto muito confortável, restaurante maravilhoso com as casinhas típicas do Porto o que o torna único em toda a Europa. Recomendo. Nunca comi um bacalhau com broa tão bom como aqui. Adorei, quando voltar a minha cidade é aqui o meu lugar

Immaculate hotel. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast; lots of naughty pastries. Is a bit of a walk from the historic centre and there is a complimentary shuttle running between approx 10am - 4pm. I’d have preferred to have not had the steep walk back but with the closer hotel options, Rubens won. I’d stay here again.

Lovely friendly hotel convenient to metro and walking. Very good service and cleanliness. Breakfast was fresh and well maintained buffet. Quiet room with amenities. Although the bed and pillows were too hard for me. Modern and fresh.

Apparently this hotel had only been open a few weeks, check in took over an hour as the room wasnt ready (this was at 4pm) when eventually they did tell us the room was ready, the key card wouldnt work, we alerted a member of staff who used their key card to let us in only to find that there was already another couple in the room - we were then given a free glass of port while we waited for another room to be cleaned from scratch - as if a glass of port was going to make up for us losing an afternoon of our holiday. The position of the room they eventually gave us was awaful, the door was about 2ft away from the car park and opened out onto the exhaust of a parked car. The location was also awful, far away from anything, decoration was extremely tacky, staff although very friendly didnt seem to have a clue what they were doing. Breakfast was ridiculous, tables were so tightly packed that you had to move every time someone wanted to get up from their table and also you had members of the waiting and kitchen staff running backwards and forwards constantly replenishing the food - I am not exaggerating that it was constant and they were virtually jogging past your table which was extremely annoying. All in all an extremely disappointing stay and I will certainly never be staying here again.

Sehr elegantes Hotel mit hervorragendem Frühstückbuffet und sehr freundlichem Personal. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Eine richtige Bettdecke anstelle eines kleinen dünnen Bettlakens wäre schön gewesen.
