Der wachsende Tourismus scheint diesem Weingut wohl etwas zu Kopf gestiegen zu sein. Hier wird man sehr abfällig behandelt. Nicht empfehlenswert. Ich werde die Ports von Fonseca aus meinem Sortiment nehmen.

Took a cab from Pinhao because I didn't want to drink and drive. 11 EUR per direction. Make sure you take the number of the taxi driver as they dont seem to have numbers of taxi station to call for you on your way back. Arrived at 12:45, right when the employees were breaking for lunch. Doesnt appear on the website, but then again, this is Portugal. For 20 EUR got a self guided audio tour and a walk in the vineyards, plus 3 drinks of port wine tastings for two. The tour lasted 30 minutes with the very bored voice of some British actor telling you everything you never wanted to know about producing port. And I do mean everything. For wine enthusiasts only. Also bring your own headphones as the single use ones they provide you have a comically short cord. The walk in the vineyard was a romantic experience though, and a good photo op. Wine tasting was good, Fonesca has some top quality port inside its barrels. Couldnt resist and bought two bottles. All in all a recommened experience.

Très touristique et dispendieux. Vous pouvez trouver d’autre endroit pas très loin meilleur marché et très bon aussi. Par contre, ça reste une bonne place pour déguster. Très bon choix de porto

Visited as part of an organised tour. Some really great ports. Was super hot on the day so we were all sweltering. The chilled port was refreshing!

Audioguide disponible à l’entrée ce qui permet de visiter sans réserver. Après forcément ça manque de « petites explications » d’un vrai producteur. La balade dans les vignes est sympathique et avec des points de vues sympa. La dégustation se concentre sur 3 portos différents et avec mes explications pour chacun. Top

Infelizmente a visita não foi possível. Ao chegarmos à Quinta estava acontecendo uma visita privada, sem opção de visita ou degustação para quem chegasse. Fica a sugestão de um aviso de fechado para evitar o trajeto até a Quinta quando não haverá atendimento.

The Quinta is beautiful and in a stunning location. The audio tour of the estate is so interesting ... certainly the best we have done! The tasting was informative and relaxed and, yes, we bought their lovely products and the teeshirts! Recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely lovely place. Spectacular view, welcoming staff and fabulous port. €10 for wine tasting (3 ports) and a self guided 30 minute tour. Highly recommend!!

To be honest I just saw the place and didn't really get to experience it. It's located beautifully though when we reached at 12 40 pm it said it was closed and reopen only at 2pm! ( we had checked Google / website) before leaving and it said was open from 10 am - 6 30 pm). We didn't wanna wait hence we continued ahead. Hence, please call and check if you are planning to visit

Outdoors audioguided tour for 10€, which you can do on your own pace and without reservation, included a tasting of white, ruby and 10yo tawny. Other glasses available for extra, for example 2013 Guimaraes Vintage for 8€. Very quiet place compared to central Pinhão. The vineyard overlooks a smaller tributary to the Douro river, making the area feel very peaceful.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Pour 10 euros : audioguide un peu vieillot disponible à l’entrée ce qui permet de visiter à notre rythme et sans avoir besoin de réserver. Le coût inclus la dégustation de 3 portos différents avec une brève explication de chacun.

We went on a beautiful cold rainy day in March, it added to the ambiance and all the stone terraced hills. An amazing area that I was told I need to visit in the Fall sometime. I'll be back for sure!

I like Terra Prima for the nose and tast from the bottle. Getting up to the parking lot might be a charllenge for some. So, becarefull when you have a glass or two. Be safe outhere people.

Dejlige portvine og en fantastisk udsigt. Søde ansatte og de har mulighed for at sende til Danmark, godt for vores kuffert.

Goedkope audio Tour door de wijnvelden voor €10,- ook in het Nederlands beschikbaar, maar vraag voor de Engelse versie deze is duidelijker. Na de tour kan je 3 verschillende portwijnen proeven.

Très bel endroit mais le reste est une horreur: personnel qui vous siffle en passant, la personne des dégustations qui nous indique qu'elle part en pause déjeuner sans nous dire s'il faut patienter. Après 20' d'attente nous sommes partis sans avoir rien pu visiter. Allez dans une autre quinta l'expérience n'en sera que meilleure.

Die Weine sind gut... Das Personal in der Quinta ist leider hochnäsig, unprofessionell, unfreundlich und weiß über die eigenen Produkte nicht Bescheid. Der Eigentümer wird sicher nicht optimal repräsentiert...

Visita con audioguida e assaggio. Molto gradevole la passeggiata tra le vigne con audio guida in italiano molto istruttiva e completa.

Fiz uma reserva antecipada por telefone para o almoço. Quando cheguei na quinta fui informado que o número de telefone é do restaurante no Porto e não em Pinhão. Surpresa desagradável. Precisa atualizar o número de telefone informado aqui no Google ou perguntar ao fazer a reserva se é para o Porto ou Pinhão.

Enjoyable visit comprising of an instructive 30-minute walk around the vinyard (with an audio commentary) and a tasting of 3 ports at the end surrounded by a beautiful and serene landscape.

The place is quite beautiful.... yet I am sorry to say that, it is hard to understand how and why open a tasting area so deprived of passion and expensive compared to the other Quintas.

For just a few Euros, we got the chance to discover not only the destillery and the restaurant but also the wineyards itself. Walking alongside all those grapes with the burning sun in the sky was an overall nice experience. After the tour, we were invited by the barwoman to taste three portwines, which was included in the entrance fee. If you ever want see how a real wineyard works and if you're interested in the history portwine, you should consider to stop here. We enjoyed our visit a lot!

Awesome views, great wine. Surprisingly barely any visitors. The walk along the vineyard is short and on level, but in 39C is difficult - plan to do it early in the morning. The audio guide speaks in perfect, but completely humorless English. Together with heat it is an interesting experience.

Prachtige omgeving en rustige, niet zo toeristische quinta. Ook leuke proeverij. Je kan er mooi door de wijngaarden lopen...
