En general, tout était bien. nous aurions apprécié que lair climatisé fonctionne. Tres chaud dans la chambre, on a dû ouvrir et plein de moustiques qui piquent.

Vue magnifique, établissement très propre, personnel aux petits soins avec un effort pour parler français, nous avions une fuite dans le lavabo de la salle de bain mais on s’en fichait tant l’hôtel était parfait.

Situation exceptionnelle avec vues splendides sur locéan. Hotel propre est facile daccès. Le personnel est compétent et sympathique. Pour beaucoup dentre eux ils parlent le français. Je recommande vivement.

Hotel ideal para un viaje en coche, si quieres pasar unos días tranquilos y relajado apartado del centro. Está situado en lo alto del monte de Sao Felix. Tiene muy buenas vistas. Cuenta con un desayuno buffet decente aunque bastante básico.

I am from Canada but my husband is Portugese - just from a local town. He has never stayed here but heard lots of good things. I decided to book a room for the experience because ...we were on holiday and life is about experiences.
We had a room on the 5th floor and it was wonderful. Excellent view. The room had a double bed, mini bar, and shower incased by a glass wall. The water pressure was excllent after a long day of shopping and spending time near the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a variety of shows, even in english.
The hotel offers an outdoor pool, however, we came during the winter months wheb it is closed. There are other areas to relax...like the living room type of common room that also has a fire place abd opposite to thay is a living room with TV and board games. Each area had a great view of the neighbouring towns and ocean in the distance. Its a quite place to gather your thoughts and breathe. My piece of advice is to have a car during your stay in Portugal. Public transit is not the greatest and with a car you can go as you please.
We had dinner at the hotel that night. The menu is extensive; really something for everyone - even the picky eater. Also for $25 euros you can select from a prefixed menu that includes app, entree, and dessert. I have to commend our server whos names now escapes me. He was so kind and attentive. He would even pour water in my glass when it was near to empty. He was truly professional. I had the veg soup which was excellent, the veal cutlets, and crepe for desert. The food here is good. I always feel kinda bad when we dine in Portugal becuase I can never finish my food. Not because its not good but portion sizes are large.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will highly recommend.

Travelled to this hotel June 2018
We arrived by taxi from the the coastal resort / Metro station (last stop from Porto). The location is amazing...the views are outstanding! The hotel was very quiet at the time we where there, which suited us. For what we paided, it was good value B and B.
One last thing...if we stopped at this hotel again! We would hire a car.

I visited off-season, but plenty of staffs and full facilities are available, and helpful. With a car, its the best location between Oporto and northern parts. Supermarkets and restaurents, even Casino are nearby. Enjoy quiet and beautiful sceanery!

Ein ruhiges Hotel auf einem Berg mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Hotelpersonal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zudem war das Essen im Hotelrestaurant ein Erlebnis. Das Essen an sich war sehr lecker und auch der Service war ausgezeichnet.

This is the best hotel I've ever been. The hotel helps you with any problem and the rooms are very clean and pretty. The swimming pool is beautiful and clean and everything is just perfect. Love to all of the workers who helped us and took care of us. You definitely should stay here!

Gesamt bewertung: 3.5 Sterne
Hotel liegt abseits vom Touristen Trouble. Dies bedeutet aber auch eine 8 min Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt mit Strand. Ein Shuttle Bus wird nur begrenzt angeboten und ist mit 4 Euro pro Person schon ab zwei Personen teurer als ein Taxi.
Taxi dienste in die nächste Stadt kosten 8-12 € pro Weg. Ab dort können Fahrten nach Porto und zum Flughafen mit der Metro Bahn ab 7€ hin und zurück gemacht werden.
Getränke Preise an der Hotel Bar sind weit über den ortsansässigen normalen Preisen. WiFi ist nur begrenzt einsetzbar. In der Lobby ist der Empfang akzeptabel. Für den Hotel Safe im Zimmer ist eine Gebühr von 2,50 € pro Tag zu bezahlen.
Die Beschreibung bei Holiday Check sollte dringend überarbeitet und aktualisiert werden. Die Angaben entsprechen nicht immer der Realität. Frühstück ist inklusive und entspricht den Erwartungen. Es sollte aber dringend auf mehr Abwechslung geachtet werden. Es fällt fällt auf daß gewisse Dienstleistungen nur aufrecht erhalten werden um die vier hotel Sterne zu halten.
Pro:
+ Sehr schöne ruhige Lage
+ Sehr saubere moderne WC Anlage in der Lobby
+ Überwiegend nettes und hilfsbereites Service Personal
+ Super Aussicht auf Panorama.
+ Saubere und schöne Zimmer mit regelmäßigen reinigung
+ Gute Dusch Einrichtung
+ Gute aber etwas zu harte Betten.
+ kostenlose Parkplätze (wurde aber nicht getestet oder gebraucht)
Kontra:
- Kein guter günstiger Shuttle Service.
- Wenig Abwechslung und Auswahl am Frühstück Buffet
- Hotel Beschreibung muss überarbeitet werden.
- Teure Getränke an der Bar
- Für heutige Zeit schwacher WiFi Dienst.
- Das bezahlen an der Bar mit Zimmer Nr. ist unübersichtlich und unkorrdiniert.
- unnötiger Kampf um vier Hotelsterne
Fazit:
Grundsätzlich ein gutes Hotel mit gutem Service. Doppelzimmer gibt es ab 80€ pro Nacht. Der Preis bewegt sich für die Region im oberen Durchschnitt.

Hotel fabuloso, el personal muy agradable y profesional, las habitaciones (3 amigos) li pias, confortables y con unas vistas al valle y a la piscina increibles. El desayuno muy rico, y la piscina espectacular. Muy bien ubicado en un entorno natural precioso y cerquita de povoa de varzim, pueblo costero turistico donde tienes de todo y muchos locales para comer y tomar algo. Nos planteamos repetir para la proxima escapada.

We had an excellent 4 night stay, would recommend a car for getting around although not essential as they offer shuttles. Fantastic views from the rooms, restaurant and pool area. Staff really friendly and we enjoyed good days out in Porto and the local areas, in short a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Hotel was well situated at the top of a hill with great views. The rooms were well appointed with balcony and a fridge, and were cleaned every day. The breakfast buffet was extensive and even had champagne. The restaurant was very good, we just felt it lacked variety and could have done more Portuguese cuisine. The pools were good, plenty of sunbeds, just got very warm as heated by solar panels and we had a heatwave!Big plus for us, we saw night jars flying over the pool!

Me confundí de día en la reserva y cuando llegamos al hotel no les constaba nuestra llegada. Nos dieron habitación inmediatamente y nos dijeron que no nos preocupásemos. Al hacer el check out nos compensaron con la habitación reservada y pagada en mal fecha. Todo con un trato exquisito. Gracias al personal.

When I arrived my room was ready and it was clean and smells good. The view of my room was amazing. Staffs was very welcoming and they spoke English enough so we can have a conversation of understanding with each other. There are free parking all around the hotel property. Please get a car if you drive..( manual/ stick shift is the most popular cars in Europe) so please choose according to your driving licence allowance. I drove to Spain for the day which is less than 2 hrs from the hotel. Nothing is close enough for a walking distance thats the main disadvantage. It was my birthday and the staff surprised me with champagne and biscuit decorated on the side which I loved. They give robes and change towels every single day when your room is clean.I brought my laptop and HDMI connector so I can watch anything I wanted to I.E Netflix/ YouTube. As majority of their channels are in Portuguese which I expected. Side note to hotel please build an indoor pool so customer that visit in the winter can have a bit a relaxation. The hotel is definitely a 4*.

Very fine hotel which is reasonably priced. It is situated on a top of a hill. In the rooms you have a panoramic vieuw this makes it lovely. On the flatscreen in your room you have more than 100 channels. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Very clean. Free parking.

Die Architektur des Sao Felix Hotel fand ich überaus ansprechend. Das Hotel fügt sich wunderbar in die Landschaft und bietet eine grandiose Aussicht. Der Frühstücksraum hat ein angenehmes Ambiente, vorallem durch die unermüdlich fleißigen Damen, die Teller abräumen und das Buffet mit den leckeren portugisischen Köstlichkeiten auffüllen.Die Zimmer sind geräumig und erfrischend nützlich designed, das Bad war groß und sehr sauber. Das Abendessen übertraf unsere Erwartungen, auch hier war der Service herausragend.

Das Hotel befindet sich auf einem Berg. Dadurch hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf Pova de Vazim (gute Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten), wenn man ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen hat. Um Ausflüge zu tätigen (Meer, Städte etc.) ist allerdings ein Mietauto notwendig, da das Hotel sich in einem kleinen Dorf ohne Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bus und Bahn befindet. Empfehlenswert ist es, mit dem Mietauto eine nahegelegene Metro Station mit kostenlosem Park & Ride anzufahren, um Porto zu erkunden.Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat einen kleinen Pool sowie eine Tischtennisplatte (die wir gerne benutzt haben). Sonstige Freizeitaktivitäten müssen außerhalb besucht werden.Wir hatten das Hotel mit Frühstück gebucht und das hatte alles was das Herz begehrt. Abends konnte man auch im Hotel gut a la Carte essen.Abschließend können wir sagen, dass dieses Hotel sehr gut dafür geeignet ist, um sich den Norden von Portugal anzuschauen (Mietauto).

Pase unos días en este hotel, me gusto mucho, los empleados muy atentos,el hotel muy limpio, el único problema, pocas cadenas españolas para ver la tele .Gracias a un comentario que una persona en esta pagina, decidí hacer una visita a (casa paulino) para comer, esta en el pueblo antes de llegar al hotel, me sorprendí gratamente, la comida casera y la personas que lo atienden muy súper atentos, la comida muy buena, y económico, yo, lo recomiendo..

Je recommande à 100% cet hôtel avec un personnel accueillant et toujours disponible. la chambre était très confortable et une belle salle de bain. La propreté rien à redire. Une piscine est à notre disposition sur une vue imprenable, ainsi qu'un lieu de détente et une salle de ping-pong. Seul bémol, le diner sur place est trop onéreux, beaucoup plus cher qu'à l'extérieur, mais un petit déjeuner copieux et très varié !! sinon je compte bien y retourner avec mon mari dès que possible !! notre dernière visite date de juillet 2017. Pas de soucis pour garer notre véhicule, un parking est à notre disposition, n'hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçus.

Hotel mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Toller Sonnenuntergang und nachts tolles Lichtermeer. Modern und freundlich. Anfahrt etwas anstrengend. Nicht gut ausgeschildert. Aber da das Hotel auf dem Berg schon von weitem zu sehen ist, machbar. Zimmer mit Balkon und weiter Sicht. Pool. Frühstück mittelmäßig, aber mit Sekt.

We had a pleasant 4 night stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful although not many speak English, our fault for not speaking Portuguese! We didnt eat in the restaurant in the evening as we like going out and about but the breakfasts were of a good standard with cereals, breads, fruit and eggs, sausages, bacon and beans but the same everyday. It is far from any shops, restaurants etc so you do really need a car.

It's quirky and in a great situation. Pool is a sun trap with great views towards the coast. Staff are friendly and it is a quiet hotel, no noisy children running around. Lots of fIles with teens and couples.

Stayed with my wife for seven nights at the end of July and beginning of August and found the hotel to be excellent. The hotel is situated in the hills outside of Povoa de Varzim. Most guests seem to have cars however we did not but used the hotel's shuttle service to get to town, the metro station and the airport. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff very, very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was first rate served by friendly knowledgeable staff and reasonably priced. The wine and other drinks were also not over expensive. At breakfast there was a good selection of fruit, meat, cheese, bread, cereals and more. The pool area was kept extremely clean and tidy and they were plenty of loungers and umbrellas.The use of hotel towels for around the pool was a positive addition and not expected. The views around from our room was lovely and the early sun rises are something to really enjoy. We really could not find any faults during our stay and would just like to say a big thank you to the staff for making us so welcome.

Séjour en famille avec trois enfants du 17/07 au 26/07, tout le monde à beaucoup apprécié le séjour. Chambres vastes et confortables, personnel agréable et disponible, installations correctes et bien dimensionnées.
Excellent séjour, dans un cadre magnifique. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié servi dans une salle ou sur une terrasse avec vue panoramique sur la vallée et la mer. Prix corrects au regard des prestations.

Nice and quiet hotel, definitely worth its money. The only thing I am a bit disappointed about, is the Wi-Fi. As a person who uses the internet a lot, this is definitely not the place to go. The Wi-Fi is just bad. Most of the time, you cannot even connect and when you are connected, it will take 30 minutes to get the message: internet is not reachable or something. But besides the Wi-Fi problems this hotel is amazing. The pool is nice and warm, breakfast is okay and service is good. And the walk-in shower is amazing!

A beautiful modern hotel with fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Rooms are immaculate and modern. Staff are all very friendly, attentive and polite. The food is of a high standard also. And complimentary Prosseco for breakfast - don't mind if i do! We are loving our stay here!

A sala de restaurante estava fria, sendo necessário pedir para aumentarem o ar condicionado; os quartos são pequenos, com camas estreitas e um maple desconfortável, sem candeeiro de pé; não existe banheira; disponibilizam apenas 2 mini frasquinhos de gel de banho/shampoo, suficientes para um único duche cada um; a oferta de pequeno almoço é pouco variada, quase sem fruta e sem opções para pessoas com intolerâncias alimentares, com os funcionários pouco atentos à necessidade de repor bebidas/comidas; a sala de jogos não é mais do que uma mesa de snooker... Ganha pelo asseio, localização e vistas!

Das Hotel ist schon ein paar Jahrzehnte alt, wurde aber offensichtlich laufend modernisiert. So wirkt es zeitgemäß und das Zimmer war optisch und technisch auf neuestem Stand, sauber sowieso. Das Zimmer war allerdings nicht sehr groß, doch ausreichend. Das Personal war einfach nur super, freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut, das Frühstücksbuffet völlig in Ordnung. Der Pool ist groß, mit schönem Blick aufs Meer. Mit dem Auto braucht man 15 min. bis zu den (sehr schönen) Stränden, bis ins Zentrum von Porto sind's 45 min., bis zum Flughafen 20 min.Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel das seine 4 Sterne mehr als verdient!

Das Hotel hat vier Sterne und verdient die auch. Man sagt ja immer dass man "in südlichen Ländern" gedanklich einen Stern abziehen muss - hier nicht. Der Service ist top, alle sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, wenn auch nicht allzu groß. Der Pool ist okay, auch wenn er schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat. Zum Strand sind's mit dem Auto 15 Min., bis Porto 45. Uns hat's gefallen!

Nice rooms and swimming pool just in front of the balcony. Not big variety for breakfast. Only one blanket for 2 beds. Heater didn't work in our room but yes in another. Very small TV set.

El hotel esta muy bien, con habitaciones grandes, buena calidad de alimentos en wl buffet y personal muy amable y atento. Está en un sitio súper tranquilo, no se oye nada, sólo los pájaros en los árboles ya que está situado en las afueras de la ciudad, enel monte de sao felix, con lo que necesitas el coche para bajar a la playa o al pueblo. Las vistas son muy buenas.

Achtung, Standardzimmer bedeutet Zimmer mit Poolblick, ohne Balkon = dunkles Zimmer mit sehr kleinen Fenstern zum Pool. Haben nach Reklamation Zimmer -offensichtlich ungern- getauscht bekommen, dann mit Balkon. Alles sehr altmodisch, Balkon-Schiebe/Schrank-Schiebe-Türen klemmen, sehr laut beim bewegen, besonders morgens laut/störend. Überall alte Teppiche. Kleiner Fernseher, 2 verschneite deutsche Programme, Sat.1 und NiKi. Zahnputzbecher aus Plastik. Im Restaurant beim Frühstück durften die Fensterplätze nur von 4-er-Gruppe besetzt werden, Paare durften nicht ans Fenster, auch wenn Tische frei waren...
