Really surprising discovery of such a small restaurant. Superb food and small but very good selection of wines. Very affordable prices for food and drinks, including wine.
Restaurant is relatively small and with old design but really worthy to visit. Friendly and supportive staff helps as well. Plenty of parking spaces available.
Highly recommended to stop by.

Here the portions are huge - easily shared between two or three people.
Their potato chips seems homemade and are very crisp. What you lack in salad and vegetable you get in meat, rice and chips.
The bread we were served at the beginning was dry and hard.
If you share and order extra salad the price is reasonable.

Um almoço de Domingo muito reconfortante! Em trânsito de Bragança para o Porto decidimos almoçar em Sabrosa. Descobrimos este restaurante por um feliz acaso...A sopa e os pastéis de bacalhau de entrada auguravam um almoço delicioso..e assim foi! A posta em dose generosa era suculenta e apetitosa, acompanhada de saborosas batatas a murro bem regadas por um Douro tinto que abria os sabores. Finalizamos com uma mousse de limão e café. Vamos para casa a pensar na próxima visita... porque devemos sempre voltar aos sítios onde somos bem recebidos ( foi o caso, a simpatia e simplicidade conquistaram- nos!)...

Serviço de extrema simpatia. Comida saborosa. Sou vegetariana e embora não houvesse um prato vegetariano, houve um esforço para que eu comesse algo de bom. Pratos generosos.

Great recommendations and typical portuguese food. Especially the alheira and the doce da casa were very good, the meat well to the point and the people so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here!

2 omelettes frites/1 salade mixte/1 bière/1 verre de vin rouge/1 excellente mousse au chocolat pour 2 : Total 23€ !..
Tout juste ce que nous cherchions pour terminer notre journée en toute simplicité .
☝ Et un serveur très sympathique .

Pas évident de déjeuner à 14h30 un dimanche dans cette région, mais le restaurant nous a accueilli, et bien que la cuisine était fermée, nous avons pu manger le même déjeuner servi pour une fête de famille. Excellente cuisine traditionnelle, très copieux. Merci encore au restaurateur de nous avoir servi

Demasiado tempo para servirem refeição pré-programada. Colocarem um grupo de pessoas, com refeição agendada no dia 22, com a temperatura exterior a rondar os 36ºC que estava numa sala sem refrigeração, que estava a 32ºC é no mínimo constrangedor!

Lovely local, well-priced restaurant with Portuguese menu. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a cheaper, easy dinner if you’re wanting a break from the fancier vineyard restaurants.

Great meal, with best meat preparation we had in Portugal, accompanied by Chef's Sergio Lapa's secret sauce! Great service from Ruben Taveira, very friendly, patiently translated the menu and made excellent recommendations. Definitely worth coming back--again and again!

Fantastic food and incredibly friendly staff. Very little English spoken so prep your Portuguese beforehand or have Google Translate handy. Highly recommended.
