Melissa M: If you are wishing to teach English abroad, I would not recommend using this agency. I was teaching in Spain from October 2019 to May 2020 and was contracted through the ErasmusInSchool platform. At the beginning of the year I had to give a €400 deposit that I would get back when I completed the school year. As you all know, the coronavirus struck in March and schools were closed and have still not been re-opened. I wanted to go home but naturally I was worried about the deposit so I awaited instructions from either ErasmusInSchool (who never contacted me at all during the pandemic! My housemates who were contracted by the British council were contacted immediately and told to go home) or my school. My school started advising me to go home so I asked about the deposit and was told that they would speak to ErasmusInSchool about it. Then we found out that I would not be able to get the deposit back unless I stayed contracted until the end of May as originally planned. Personally, I found this absolutely disgusting and shameful. We were in a PANDEMIC, my school were giving me their blessing to go, they no longer were able to pay me my full wages, yet ErasmusInSchool didn’t want to give me MY deposit? I fulfilled all of my duties with the school, I didn’t do anything wrong. The school no longer had the money to pay me my full wages anymore so they were halved. I was living on €250 a month. My rent was €135 a month (not including bills). ErasmusInSchool put me in a horrible position financially and mentally. They should have had the decency to just give me MY money back in considering the extraordinary circumstances. So through this review I would simply like to warn potential language assistants about the establishment. In my opinion, ErasmusInSchool looks out for the interest of the schools, not the language assistants. The fact that I had to give a “deposit” at the beginning should have been a warning sign. In what other job is that normal? With that being said, I would like to mention that my school is not to blame here at all. They were very helpful and supportive. I feel so let down by this agency. Being stuck in a foreign country with such little money, unable to get back to my home country was the worst and most difficult time of my life. I view the fact that they couldn’t give me my money back before the end of May (and didn’t contact me at all during the whole pandemic) utterly shambolic. I am writing this because I really don’t want this to happen anyone else. Be very wary of looking for work abroad through this agency. I wouldn’t not recommend them at all. 0/5.

Tinha uma luz de controlo do motor acesa e preciso dela para passar a inspecção, por isso decidi levá-la à Acura, porque tenho um Acura MDX. O nome do conselheiro de serviço era Jeff S Nael. Que então nos deu uma lista de coisas que precisávamos fazer para passar na inspecção. O que acabou por ser falso. Eu só preciso que me substituam um fio. Então se alguma vez for à Acura em Auburn para uma reparação. Por favor, arranje uma segunda opinião. Especialmente se o seu conselheiro de serviço for Jeff S Nael. Saco de soma real! Triste aproveitado da família numa pandemia...

Tive um problema com o portátil, liguei e arranjei um aplicativo nerd para o dia seguinte. Foi um pouco depois que eles abriram, mas não lotaram e se aproximaram rapidamente do meu aplicativo, tiveram que deixá-lo, mas explicaram o meu problema e a pessoa entendeu e repetiu o que eu queria fazer. Às vezes compensa obter garantias e contratos de serviço. Bons preços quando há uma venda mas, eu queria uma impressora HP à venda descobriu que eles não estão vendendo, mas mantê-la na prateleira para fazer as pessoas pensarem que têm boas seleções. Estava à venda por $169 e o vendedor só vem uma vez por mês. Eu queria as informações dele para que eu pudesse ligar diretamente, mas vou tentar a HP diretamente dizendo que a Best Buy não pode comprá-los e eles estão anunciando, mas não podem mais fazer pedidos...desculpa ridícula!! Estar no Best Buy Club e me mandar para um concorrente para comprá-lo.
