Our tour of Cliff Richard's vineyard/ winery/shop started at 2:30. The tour guide gave a very interesting and detailed explanation how grapes are grown, incl. wine processing techniques. We were led around the vineyard and shown the vines. They use a special technic of growing the grapes 1m above the ground. This exposes them better to the sun. (and is more back friendly during the harvest-season). After passing the processing machinery, the tour continues into the wine cellars, where at 3:10 the wine tasting took place (2 white, 1 rosé, 1 red "Vida Nova= New Life" wine), and finished at 4:00. Afterwards, you exit into the shop where you can purchase the wines (with excellent discounts), T-Shirts, fridge magnets, bottle openers, key chains, etc. So the tour lasts 1:30 hours, incl. the shop visit almost 2 hours.

So disappointed, my daughter booked this trip for a late Mothers Day present, whilst visiting Alubfera. Transfer did not turn up as planned. We emailed asking where the transport was to be told that the trip had been canceled!!! Shocked and very disapointed in you Cliff as no one from your end had bothered to let us know, which has totally spoilt our day; we were really looking forward to the tour.. I most certainly would not recommend this trip due to the extremely poor customer service and to be fare one star is far too much. one v we y unhappy customer.....

Its a lovely picturesque place relaxing love it best when Sir Cliff is in residence and doing a signing but sadly this year he isnt but im still visiting from Spain between 10 May and 14 so hoping i will meet him when i visit winery and buy some wine . IF THIS CAN BE ARRANGED ID LOVE IT see you all then Hope to hear back x

Please be aware that you have to make an appointment upfront! We didn't know, walked all the way and lucky for us there was another couple with the same 'issue', so as a small group we could enter without any arrangement. Lovely wines, friendly lady telling a lot about SirCliff and his friends and of course about the wines. Unfortunately as we were accompanied by our little one (6y) we were not allowed the visit/see the factory part, but the tasting was already a nice time consuming activity

When Sir Cliff is there its the place to be very special to see him there he's the loveliest man and most talented Hope he's there next year xxx

We were unlucky with the weather on the day we visited, so couldn't get to see some of the property and facilities which were outside, but the tour was very informative.

Visited this morning, was very disappointed, having lived in France for 20 years & visited some of the most famous vineyards in the world including chateauneuf du papes and never have we paid to sample the wines. Was really shocked that you were expected to pa y €7.50 to taste 4 different wines which was only going to be a very small taster of each then buy a bottle which was €8. The whole point of visiting a vineyard is for them to promote their wine giving free tasting which you then would buy.

I was expecting much more emotions sold to me with a glass of wine and story told. Nice place, 4 wines to taste, cold rooms allowing have a rest during hot day but I did expected more. Prices of wine quite high.

What an amazing place to visit. If you are a wine lover you must see this place. I Got lucky as I got to meet one of the owners of the land, not knowing who he is. He was so kind giving me some interesting information.

My wife and I visited Adega do Cantor and were very impressed with the tour which was given by Jenny. We learned a great deal about the processing of wine making and wine tasting. The cost of the tour was €10 and well worth it. I would recommend this tour to anyone who’s visiting the area.

Beautiful place. Staff excellent. We were made to feel really welcome. The tour was really interesting and the wines good. Thank you. Revisit this year - bought as a present including a transfer. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it felt very personal. The tour is informative and the location lovely. Last year my wife did the tour and thoroughly enjoyed it - this time, although still good there were a couple of negatives. The transfer was by car and not the best - also very expensive. The tasting was also disappointing as it was very rushed.

Wir waren spontan zu diesem Weingut gefahren und wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Ohne Termin haben wir an einer Verkostung teilgenommen und bekamen eine gute Erklärung zu jedem Wein. Insgesamt haben wir 4 Weißweine und 4 Rotweine probiert. Danach haben wir natürlich ein paar Flaschen für zu Hause gekauft, die uns geliefert werden, so haben wir keine Gepäckprobleme für den Rückflug. Dieses Weingut ist im Besitz von Sir Cliff Richard, einem englischen Popsänger.
