Just had sunday roast - delicious. All veg cooked to perfection & beef & chicken scrummy. We were made very welcome by Charlie & lovely waiting staff - thank you all.

Good old boozer as it should be! Cheap beer excellent food and Sky TV for the footie. Charlie is a lovely chap who can’t do enough for you.
Ate most nights and the food and service is top dollar.
Give it a go!

What a great, friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Charlie is a proper landlord. Just what's required. And there's a mixture of locals and tourist which we found excellent. Nothing like mingling with the locals. Proper job Charlie. Keep the Thatchers flowing boyo. Proper job. See you in September hopefully. Obligado

There are not a lot of Brits in Armacao as it's mainly a Portuguese holiday town, but this is a very friendly pub with plenty of football. Sunday lunch is excellent and very good value

Good beer, and more importantly excellent Guinness, sport on tvs, friendly service and good food too - was unfortunately too late for the great looking roast but they know what a sausage is so I was happy. Cheers!

Estilo ingles con buena cerveza, el camarero muy atento , pedimos pastel de carne con salsa a la cerveza para compartir y nos lo divido en dos platos, muy atento. Lo recomiendo para una cerveza y comer algo.

Nice place with terrace. I like the fish and chips here and the chips are the best one van find. With a good glas of wind (or beer). Friendly service.

We went for fish & chips, not realizing they only do them on Friday. So we had goujons, a kind of fish strips and chips, and white wine. Great choice. The chips were the best ever we had in Portugal! Very friendly service. Dogs allowed on the terrace. We had our own and one foster with us.

Fabby bar great staff great sunspot sorry the chef never turned up the day we wanted food sure it would be fab too. Music was brill too..Prices good returned to Edinburgh got a glass of wine id been drinking all week at 2€ cost £7.45 in Beehive Grassmarket. Id move to Portugal just to drink wine at that price.

Hadn't been there for 12yrs and it was as great as it was when we first went there. We missed Charlie the owner, but his English bar maid Charlotte was just an amazing lady!

Small bar/cafe. Very English - both staff and customers. Drinks at fair prices and home cooked pub grub. Not an e tensive menu. The usual burgers, salads, sandwiches but they do cook one special main and a desert every day. Today was Fish and chips with mushy peas, bread and butter, followed by fruit crumble and custard or ice cream. Drinks, mains and deserts for 4 people worked out to only £10 per person including the tip! And the grub was great. Not a swish place at all, but right across the road from the beach, very clean, very friendly.

Sehr zu empfehlen, Junges Team das sehr freundlich ist. Hier würde ich immer wieder hingehen da das Essen sehr gut und günstig ist, über die Straße und man ist am Strand.

L'endroit idéal pour regarder le Grand Prix de Formule 1 en sirotant une bonne bière bien fraîche ! Le serveur est très sympa et la cuisine est tenue par 2 anglaises.
The place to be to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix ! Beers are fresh, the barman is friendly and the Sunday roast (not only that :-) ) is cooked and served by 2 nice English ladies.

This is the best pub in Armacao de Pera where you are always made welcome and appreciated serves great food and drink at reasonable prices and great for the sports on telly.
