What true gentlemen/lady, called in to ask if they knew of somewhere to buy English books. Only to find they offer a ENGLISH BOOK EXCHANGE Amazing wee bar full of nostalgia of Beatles but also offer first class service, Good beer, good craic, football ( on their many screens) a carryout what more could you ask for. HUGE thumbs up for the Cavern

British run bar popular with resident ex-pats and visitors. Small bar good range of local and imported beers and ciders. No food, no outside seating. Several TV screens for UK football, rugby union and league, cricket and more. Opens 12 noon weekends and UK holidays World Cups etc otherwise 6pm

Great bar, tucked away, shows most live sports, great selection of reasonably priced drinks and the walls are covered with memorabilia. Friendly owner/staff for the time we were there and we were well looked after as a large group.

Recently frequented the cavern bar and found it to be a great little British boozer with a cracking pint making our visit there every night of our holiday.....keep up the good work and see you again.

Une ambiance très sympathique

I can only say I have as an Irish person never felt so unwelcome in a pub we were not greeted on approach to the bar there were two children asleep in the bar at midnight, I felt for the first time in my life that I was where I didn't belong we left our drinks behind as we felt so unwelcome in my opinion if was because we were Irish.

My colleague and I reviewed this pub and found the place quite boring, uninspiring and unfriendly with no atmosphere. It needs a major shakeup with a female touch and not be so male shovenistic.

Me & my partner went and enjoyed a great night at the cavern bar the owner is a very nice man and has good staff. Real Liverpool bar great music and you can watch the sports men after a long day in the sun.. I can't wait to go back again...

Small sports bar, comfortable,welcoming,good range of drinks at very reasonable prices. A home from home for UK customers - an English bar owned and staffed by the English.
