We have two bed room with breakfast. Only problem was bathroom with toilet, which was shared for the whole floor, somewone was not to be able to use toilet brush.

Gostei muito do Hostel, ótima localização. Só tive dúvidas no dia do check-in, não havia recepção, apenas um bilhete com a chave, no idioma Inglês no qual me confundiu. No dia seguinte tivemos café da manhã que estava muito bom. Tive que pagar uma taxa extra na saída.

Cascais ist eine Reise wert und im Ljmonade Hostel ist man gut aufgehoben!Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und offen empfangen von einer Mitarbeiterin des Hostels am 27. Oktober.

Nettes Hostel mit ordentlichen Und sauberen Zimmern. Hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Das Gemeinschaftsbad (1 WC, 1 Waschbecken und eine Dusche) ist ein bisschen zu wenig für die vielen Gäste. Zu den Stoßzeiten muss man den Moment in dem das Bad leer ist gut anpassen. Für eine Nacht war es ideal.

Hostel não tão próximo do centro, porém não tão distante. Ao se acostumar com o caminho, o acesso a parte turística de cascais fica bem tranquilo. PORÉM a porta do banheiro feminino faz MUITO barulho a noite. As luzes do quarto compartilhado são completamente apagadas a noite, deixando os hóspedes vulneráveis nas escadas que levam ao banheiro. Comparando os preços, existem locais mais baratos com maiores facilidades. Não recomendo para turistas de primeira viagem. Só vale a pena em caso de lotação. Salvo o café da manhã, do qual ouvi elogios, as acomodações não são confortáveis.

Apto para dormir, barata, cerca del centro de Cascais. Estilo Juvenil bastante ruido en las tardes y noche pero nada grave. El personal no habla portugues sólo inglés.

Absolutely gorgeous place, the decoration, walls the location is perfect, walked 3 minutes to museum, 5 to park. Breakfast is enough, good food, with fruits sometimes. Such a nice spot nearby the turistic atractions, but its just a place to stay for a few ours, the atmosphere is not good. The girl at the reception was really nice, but there´s no interaction with the guests. All the time I looked at her, she was working. Cleaning the kitchen, sweeping the garden, in the computer. Something we really didn´t enjoy, the lack of soul. Just a house with rooms, not a warming and welcoming hostel. I would recommend, anyway. For the price we paid, is a good place to have breakfast and come back to sleep.

The receptionist was friendly and showed me the important spots to visit in Cascais. In the low season there are not many visitors compared to other hostels. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and the six-bed room under the roof had only one very small window so was pretty dark without the light even at daytime. I could still sleep fairly well and had tasty pancakes for breakfast. There is room for improvement but by far not the worst you can get.

Tive uma hospedagem agradável com dores de cabeça. Problemas que não me fariam voltar! Quando cheguei não havia ninguém na recepção, tinha um recado na porta com o meu nome e pedindo para eu ligar, mas estava com problema no meu chip local e ele não estava funcionando. Uma audácia né? Qual a probabilidade de um brasileiro chegar na Europa ás 22hs com um chip local? Após bater na porta e gritar um pouco na rua, um hóspede abriu a porta para mim. Minha prima que já estava hospedada lá, disse que sabia qual era a minha cama pois haviam colocado um papel com o meu nome na mesma. Acordei no dia seguinte com uma mensagem do booking falando que o hostel havia cancelado minha reserva por não comparecimento. Enfim, quando fui embora mandei e-mails falando de algumas coisas que provavelmente eu havia esquecido lá... responderam que apenas o casaco tinha ficado lá. Após isso mandei diversos e-mails sem nenhum retorno, me responderam falando que meu casaco havia mofado no achados e perdidos e eles jogaram fora... um mês depois! Fiquei hospedada uma semana e duas vezes que eu estava presente, ocorreram problemas durante a noite e não havia ninguém do hostel para resolver, muito menos um telefone para contato em caso de emergência. Um hóspede esqueceu o cartão do quarto no lado de dentro e ele só conseguiu entrar depois que fucei as gavetas e encontrei um telefone, mas apenas uma pessoa do hostel fala português, o moço não sabia falar inglês então eu tive que falar para alguém ir lá liberar o cartão dele. Eu poderia ter relevado muita coisa, mas jogar meu casaco fora foi um desrespeito que nem sei dizer. Não voltaria e não re comendo. Principalmente se você só fala português.

Fräscha och välstädade faciliteter. Rymligt rum med dubbelsäng, garderob och litet bord. Inkluderar sängkläder och handduk. Bland de bättre toalett/duschutrymmen jag sett i hostel-mått mätt. Fräscht och välutrustat kök. Fantastisk frukost: pannkakor med sylt eller jordnötssmör, bröd med pålägg, te, kaffe juice, ägg, flingor, färska apelsiner. Trevlig uteplats på bakgården där man kan spisa mat. Bra läge, ca 2,5km till centralstation (25-30min promenad). I övrigt nära till sevärdigheter längs med kusten. Mycket trevlig och prisvärd restaurang i närheten som serverar jättegod kyckling; Somos un regalo. Definitivt prisvärt.

Super sympathisches Team, tolles Zimmer, gute Lage (<15 Gehminuten bis ans Meer), sauberes und modernes Bad. Und das Frühstück war auch super!

Really nice property within walking distance to the train station, mall, downtown area, and other sites like boca do inferno. It was nice and quiet, and the wifi was fast. The laundry service was also convenient. Only complaint is that the stairs in the building are set up a bit weird and so stepping out of the bathroom sometimes was a struggle, but i would for sure stay here again!

Increible atención y muy limpio

Really cool place with cosy, feel-like-home atmosphere, young, friendly and multilanguage stuff always willing to help you and many nice guests who treats you like a part of an international family that everyone here creates. They are open for new events and programmes, like work&travel backpackers or surf and yoga lessons. Polecam wszystkim!

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only issue ws there was an awful smell in the bathroom.

Absolutely gorgeous little hostel /bnb, with a really clean, fresh and happy vibe. Lovely spacious dorm where you each have your own set of drawers and locker in a very stylish room. Immaculate bathrooms and kitchen area. Lovely little terrace. 2 min walk from beaches.

Hostel agradable y bien ambientado y decorado con mucho espacio para hacer vida en común con los demás viajeros. Cama bien, baño privado de la habitación mejorable. Limpieza bien. Desayuno bueno! Un poco rollo tener que salir de una de las casas (son tres chalets adosados) a la calle para llegar a la cocina y comedor donde daban el desayuno. Igual para hacer el check-in y check-out. Sobre todo en días de lluvia como nos tocó a nosotros. Pero bueno, salvable. Aparcamiento complicado para zona gratis. Personal agradable!

A place where you truly feel like home! The atmosphere is amazing and every member of the staff genuinely care about you. The house and the rooms are very cozy, bright and clean, the design is lovely and colorful and you can even enjoy a sunny terrace. The hostel is really close to the center and the marina, so near all the main bars and restaurants. You'll be offered many activities such as surf and paddle sessions, dinners in the hostel... In short, a perfect place to discover Cascais and the surroundings: you will have the feeling to stay with friends!

Ljmonade Hostel is a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay when you are exploring the Cascais area. The houses and rooms are clean and comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood just above the little cobblestone streets and shops of Cascais. The staff is very professional and welcoming and I made great friends while I stayed here. I especially liked the breakfast and free glass of wines served in the evenings! Also, there are many hiking, cycling, yoga and other recreational activities easily in reach so you will never be bored. Thanks Ljmonade for making my visit to Cascais a memorable one! I hope to return again soon!

The staff and the owner at Ljmonade are like family. I was taken care of in the best possible way. I felt at home. Valentina, treated me like a guest in her home. Loved the warmth and genuineness of the staff at Ljmonade. The breakfast was lovely. Loved the pancakes. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was cleaned everyday. This hostel felt more like a home than a hostel. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer. The shared areas were nice and homey - with books to read and games to play. There is also an outdoor area with seating. Breakfast was also included in the price, along with tea and coffee. So good value all-round.

Nice friendly place, upstairs rooms could be better with doors to keep down some of the noise from downstairs and a couple more fans as well. nice kitchen and a good breakfast. close to beach and not to far to train station.

Would be a good hostel but for the locals / regulars pretty much living there who can make it very uncomfortable especially for single young women. Staff were great.

The place was in a great location. Easy walk from the train station. We had a room with private bathroom and a balcony. The breakfast in the morning was serve yourself but with more than enough to fill you up. Great place to stay for a great price. Beautiful courtyard in the back.

Nice stay at Ljemonade hostel. Can be a bit noisy as the rooms are not that well sound proof. But very nice staff that make you feel at home quickly. I guess it can get a bit problematic during summer when its hot and you need the windows open. Good value.

I visited Ljmonade with my partner in October 2015, for a long weekend break. We stayed in the en-suite room with a double bed, and it had all the facilities and appearance of a three-star hotel, but much better. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and Natalia on reception was very helpful, assisting us with planning our day trips, giving us the bus schedules and helping us with recommendations and dinner reservations. Out of all the activities they offer, we chose to hike with a guide (there were several options to chose from, including even night hiking) and very much enjoyed our time out with the friendly, positive-attitude of our guide. My partner is quite arty and she took some really great pictures. We enjoyed a day in Lisbon, had a long day in Sintra at Pena Castle (really worth it!); had pleasant evenings eating in local fish restaurants; and often just chatted on our balcony whilst sharing a bottle of wine (jackpot - the room also has a balcony with comfy chairs and a table). I would certainly recommend a stay at Ljmonade to any couple who insists on comfort, but still wants a friendly and cost-effective stay somewhere. You can do anything from just having a relaxing chill around the fishing town to surfing or hiking. It’s a great place to explore and has tons to see and do.

I came to Ljmonade as a birthday girl organising a big celebration trip for me and my friends (it was 9 of us). I couldn’t be happier that I chose Ljmonade!! I always dreamt of celebrating my birthday abroad, but with all of my close friends and I don’t think its possible to find a place that would be so affordable, yet comfortable for different people. It was basically like inviting people for a sleepover to a friendly house where everybody has their own bedroom. All the guests from my group felt at home at once – three kitchens and living rooms to hang in, beautiful little patio area with tables, where you can have breakfast outside. Breakfast is basic, but free and unlimited, and the waffles from the waffle machine with jam are a hit! I started planning the trip three months ahead and Julia (Ljmonade manager) was always available to discuss my plans and offer interesting things to do for the group. So it was all planned in great detail! One of the things we did was an amazing birthday yacht trip, organised by Julia! Absolutely fabulous and who would think, so affordable! The weather and scenery was lovely, we were served some snacks, and just danced and enjoyed ourselves. Our little yacht was exactly for a group of 10, and it was very comfortable plus there were even sunbeds. The birthday dinner was a Portuguese traditional dinner served for us outside, in Ljmonade terrace, with a bbq. The atmosphere was so so so much better than we would get in a restaurant. It felt like at home, but in the warm weather in October. Surreal! One of my friends wanted to do horse riding (she is experienced), and the horse riding club was just 5 minutes away. She said, it was fantastically organised for her and very friendly. We were also helped to organise our trip to Sintra and Cabo da Roca - bus schedules, what to see and do. We were also recommended to spend an afternoon enjoying sunset in Guincho beach, and the taxi was organised for us (taxi charges 7 Euro from Ljmonade all the way to Guincho).This afternoon at Guincho beach will always be very special for me – dunes, hills, beautiful weather, ocean... We loved this recommendation, this beach was remote and very beautiful with an interesting old restaurant, Muchacho with big windows and shocking views! Other things that are worth mentioning – the location is quite good. Short walk to the beach taking picturesque little streets, short walk to the train station, trains cost cheap and take something like 40 minutes to Lisbon centre and run till 1am, so we also discovered Lisbon, going there twice. (By the way, the best place to eat is gourment Time Out food court located in the old food market – Mercado da Ribeira, right outside the station where train comes from Cascais to Lisbon). It will be now very difficult to organise a better birthday than I had this year. It will stay in my heart forever, and hopefully it was memorable for all my guests. Our evening talks in the living room, our breakfasts on the sunny terrace, ocean, beach, castles, views – Ljmonade was the best place for us all. Really recommend for affordable group trips, you will get a lot of help and offers of what to do, plus the most picky guests can stay with their own toilet and bathroom.

Very friendly staff and avaiable with suggestions of every genre from the places to visit and how to get to those same places and also daily activities. Besides the living room teh have a very nice outdoot far away by walking there is museum, casino, the amazing beach and a lot of things to do.

Great hostel!!!!original decoration, nice people, clean and located in the center of Cascais. The terrace is very good to chill out, have breakfast... and meet people!Also, a huge range of outdoor sports and activities are on offer. Just 10 min walking from beaches... the perfect base to explore the area (Lisbon is just 40 min by train, Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Estoril...). Will recommend to my friends!
