I must have really hit the jackpot on both my early December visits to the Praia da Rocha post office. Having read some of the reviews for this place and based on my own experience at the post office in neighbouring Lagos, I was really fearing the worst. However, I was very pleasantly surprised! First visit: a few customers in front of me; a few customers behind me. One young woman - straight, light brown hair and wearing glasses - on duty; friendly, courteous and efficient! Second visit: same customer setup as before. Two ‘older women’ on duty and both very efficient at their jobs. For me, it worked out extremely well. I had visions of having to do what I ended up doing last year: saving everything I wanted to mail until I got back to civilised postal clerks in Lisbon.

Absolutely awful! Incredibly rude woman. Tried on multiple locations to post pay a toll but she kept saying the system was down. A guy in the queue told me on the way out that she tells everyone that as she can't use the system properly. He agreed she was very rude but locals had nowhere else to use CTT services. Totally useless!

Cela va faire 10 jours que nous avons payé des timbres pour la France. On n a pas vu nos cartes affranchies et elles ne sont toujours pas arrivées en France ...

Além de vender tabaco, têm uma razoável garrafeira "de emergência" para os esquecidos, revistas e jornais nacionais e estrangeiros, e funcionam como loja dos CTT - embora, como tal, não estejam identificados ou sinalizados no exterior, já que só à saída reparei numa pequena placa junto da caixa. São simpáticas, e o atendimento é descontraído. Também atuam como agentes dos Jogos Santa Casa.

I had a hard time finding this post office and I had to ask 2 different people where it was. That's because it has no sign or anything about being a post office. The main sign says "Boutique do Tabaco". The sign also says it is a "Tabacaria" & "Garrafeira". But yes, this is a post office, which is also a convenience store and sells the other things it mentions on the sign :) Hopefully this review helps someone else find this post office more easily!

O mau atendimento,a arrogancia e a falta de educaçao no seu esplendor...Mudem de atividade...

A pessoa que está a atender não deve apressar o atendimento, nem deve começar a atender outras pessoas, quando o cliente ainda se encontra ao balcão.
