I would recommand to go there on the early morning so you will be alone (I went there at 9h30 in June) perfect just to lay on a rock on the edge of a turquoise water.
Take care, there are stairs to go down and therefore it's not adapted to reduced mobility persons.
Afterward, walk on the west side, you'll find great point of view with a lot of flours.

Simplesmente fantástico. Vista top, água muita boa, não tem muitas pessoas, o que ajuda muito, pois não há muito espaço para colocar as coisas.
Lagos é um lugar a repetir sem sombra de dúvida, visto que nunca tinha visitado. Mas depois da estadia aqui, sem qualquer dúvida que irei voltar aqui.
Da próxima vez terá de ser mais tempo, porque um fim de semana, fica muito curto para quem faz todos os percursos a pé.

Fui na ponta da piedade no final de inverno, um período onde não há tanto movimento e não é possível nadar em razão do frio, contudo, mesmo não sendo as condições ideias de visitar o Algarve, vale muito a pena conhecer a ponta da piedade, que possui uma paisagem indescritível de uma beleza impressionante. Para acessar você deverá descer pelas escadas e aí chegar bem próximo ao mar e as rochas. É lindo!

Amazing day with spectacular scenery. Very easy boardwalk almost to Porto dos Mos. The 194 steps down to the grottoes well worth it. The restaurant Nascente Sol is a great watering hole with very friendly staff. Just get out there and do it!

Visita obligatoria si visitas Lagos, recomiendo ir caminando primero y luego en una excursión en embarcación pequeña (las grandes no pueden entrar) ya que son dos perspectivas muy diferentes.

Bei Sonnenschein ein Spaziergang Wert ! Die Aussicht ist phänomenal!!! An der Küste könnte es etwas frisch sein. Ein Jäckchen wäre angebracht :)

A beautiful place to go out for a walk from Lagos on a nice day. Plenty of sun, some grottoes, and a nice sea breeze. I would say, watch your kids though because they could disappear over the edge with one misstep. You could spend a whole day here exploring, but most will only need a half a day.

Superbe décor creusé par l'océan dans les falaises calcaires.
Depuis le haut de la falaise, vous avez une vue très agréable, et au fur et à mesure de la descente des escaliers en direction de la petite plage, la perspective change vraiment et vous avez une tout autre vue. Je vous conseille le parcours (même si il y a beaucoup marches).

Landschaftlich sehr schön, die Felsformationen sind ähnlich wie in Vietnam die Ha Long Bucht, nur die Treppen zum Strand sind etwas mühsam. Aber was macht man nicht alles für ein paar schöne Bilder.

Perfektné miesto na úžasne s´výhľady a scenérie. Kúsok odtiaľ pláže a veľa možností na prechádzky po útesoch. V blízkosti parkovisko a občerstvenie, ktoré funguje aj v Januári. Pokiaľ máte malé auto, dá sa úžasne pobehať celé okolie a typické prímorské dedinky. Celé okolie je pastvou pre oči :)

If you are not afraid of heights and are a little cautious you can walk along the edge of the cliff and discover the stunning holes, natural bridges and drop-offs in the rock.

Sicher einer der attraktivsten Plätze/ Stellen der gesamten Felsenküste der Algarve. Wunderschöne Felsformationen im Meer, gespickt mit kleinen Höhlen, Grotten und herrlichen Stränden. Von oben kann man diesen Küstenteil wunderbar überblicken. Den Nachteil erlebt man leider, wenn man hier ist; Touristenmassen, selbst in der Nebensaison! Beschweren werden wir uns aber trotzdem nicht, da wir ja zu dieser Art Tourismus beitragen. Wie auch immer; absolut besuchenswert!

Really beautiful place, walking distance from Lagos city center. I’ve been there during summer and winter, and it is just worth it no matter the weather. During summer is super crowded so avoid this location if you don’t like to constantly take pictures of other weird tourists around. Winter is much nicer but the wind is really cold so take a windbreak jacket with you.

Lo primero, aconsejo ir con un calzado adecuado, ya que seguramente quieras salirte del caminito de madera marcado para sacar una mejor foto o ver mas de cerca las formaciones rocosas. Por calzado adecuado me refiero a zapatos de deporte, de trekking, o similar.
Hay un aparcamiento justo al lado y si ahí no hay sitio no hay problema en aparcar a los lados de la carretera.
Las vistas son preciosas y a pesar de que suele haber mucha gente, vayas a la hora que vayas, la gente hace la foto y sigue su camino, por lo que puedes detenerte fácilmente a disfrutar con las vistas.

O Farol da Ponta da Piedade é um Farol Português que se localiza na Ponta da Piedade, freguesia de Santa Maria, Lagos. Trata-se de uma torre quadrangular amarela de alvernaria com edifício anexo, possui lanterna vermelha. Foi erigido entre 1912 a 1913 no local das ruínas da Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Piedade, entrando ao serviço neste último ano, com um aparelho óptico de quarta ordem que emitia cinco relâmpagos agrupados a cada 10 segundos do alto de uma torre de 5 metros, a 51 metros de altitude. A fonte luminosa era um candeeiro a petróleo. Em Dezembro de 1923 a luz passa a ser de ocultações, com uma ocultação de 2,5 segundos a cada 69,5 segundos. Em 1952 o farol é electrificado com energia da rede pública, sendo substituído o candeeiro a petróleo por uma lâmpada eléctrica, com um alcance original de 15 milhas náuticas, posteriormente aumentado para 18 milhas náuticas. Quatro anos mais tarde é montado um novo aparelho de incandescência eléctrica. Foi automatizado em 1983.

As paisagens na Ponta da Piedade são de tirar o fôlego! Do alto, vemos o incrível azul contrastando com o tom amarelo dos algares e rochas que despontam do mar, sempre próximo da costa.
Há quem venha de barco, em passeio contratado na marina de Lagos. Há também quem alugue um caiaque ou SUP. Eu fui por terra mesmo, considerando a escolha do grupo.
Dá pra descer até o mar por uma trilha que corre entre o curioso relevo local.

Landschaftlich sehr reizvoll und beeinduckend. Insbesondere die Bootfahrt der Küste entlang und bei entsprechendem Wetter auch in die Bays und Grotten sind ein tolles Erlebnis. Wenn dann auch noch die nicht immer ganz ernst zu nehemenden aber unterhaltsamen Rätzelspiele ( was erkennt Ihr) und Storys für angenehme und belustigende Unterhaltung sorgen, ist es wirklich ein Erlebnis und für manchen ein kleines Abendteuer, auch wenn die Sicherheit oberste Priorität hat.

Eins ist klar, das hier gibt’s nicht exklusiv. Wer kann, sollte sich einer Paddelgruppe anschließen. Angebote gibt’s zu Hauf am Hafen oder im Internet. Näher kommt man sonst nicht ran. Im Übrigen je nach Wellengang auch nicht zu unterschätzen. Besser vormittags so lange die letzten noch im Bett liegen. Je nach Anbieter ist dann auch noch ein Bad in malerischer Umgebung möglich. So oder so wird man nass. Nehmt Euch ein Tag Zeit und trockene Sachen mit. Es lohnt sich.

Es ist ein wahrer Traum, diese Ponta da Piedade. Und weil es so fantasisch ist, wird jeder Besucher der Algarve, diese Strand/Felsen/Grotten Region besuchen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wenn man dann -an der Stelle wo die Boote anlegen- auch noch die Treppe (300 Stufen oder mehr?) bis zum Meer hinuntergeht, gibt es das zusätzliches Momentum zu bestaunen, dass man teilweise in die Grotten hineinschauen, und natürliche Brücken in den Felsen sehen kann. Aber Achtung; hier ist praktisch ALLES ungesichert! Trotzdem; man kann es nicht anders sagen: Immer wieder grandios; auch wenn man wie wir, schon 7 x hier war!

Kein direkter Strand aber es werden kleine Bootsfahrten Angebot. Jetzt im November kostet es 20€ die sich wirklich lohnen. Eine wundervolle Landschaft gibt es in einer halben Stunden zu bestaunen. Oberhalb gibt es viele Wege wo man jedes Mal einen anderen schönen Ausblick hat. Man kann dort den ganzen Tag verbringen und sich den Wind um die Nase blasen lassen.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wunderschönes Stücken Erde. Am kostenfreien Parkplatz das Auto abstellen und anfangen zu staunen. Es gibt viele Trampelpfade auf der Ostseite und einen schönen Holzweg auf der Westseite. Beides sollte man tun. Im November sind wir Vormittags angekommen und es war angenehm besucht. Zum Nachmittag hin nahm die Fülle an Menschen zu aber immer noch angenehm.

Uno de los lugares más bonitos que he visitado en el Algarve. Es una maravilla caminar por las escaleras que te llevan abajo y mucho mas si lo haces al atardecer cuando las excursiones casi han acabado y podemos disfrutar de esta formación rocosa sin la gran cantidad de barcos turistas que por aquí pasan una y otra vez.

Cuenta con estacionamiento gratuito , tienda de souvenir y un pequeño restaurante. A los costados tiene un camino acondicionado para trekking. Para hacer el descenso y contemplar la vista es bastante seguro. Hay escaleras para los riscos donde pasan por ti para hacer el recorrido en lancha o cayak y otras escaleras que te pueden conducir a la playa . Espectacular lugar en Lagos!!

Nice long beach. Beautiful cliffs. Golden sand. Plus 2km to lagos makes it a great location overall compared to more commercial options in the area. Quieter than Albufeira. Couple of nice places to eat by the beach. Make a reservation if you want to have dinner. I gathered they are both owned by the same people.

- Superschön! Tolle, schroffe Felsen, blauer Atlantik
- Für Vorsichtige gibt es einen an der Küste entlang gebauten Holzwanderweg mit Geländern, aber man kann auch auf eigene Faust näher an die Felskanten über Trampelpfade
- Wir haben es von oben gesehen, von unten per Boot oder Kajak lohnt mit Sicherheit auch
- Es ist kein Badestrand, sondern ein an Klippen gelegener Wanderweg mit tollem Panorama
- Baden kann man weiter vorne an den Stränden Richtung Lagos (Fußmarsch oder wenige Minuten mit dem Auto)
- Es gibt am Augangspunkt viele kostenfreie Parkplätze

Einzigartige Ausblicke. Was uns besonders gefallen hat war ein langer Steg aus Holz entlang der Klippen, der problemlos mit Kinderwagen, Rollatoren und auch mit Rollstuhl befahren werden kann. Auch geeignet natürlich für Mrnschrn mit allgemeiner Gehbehinderung.

Fantastisch! Fantastisch! Wat een prachtig uitzicht! Zie de kracht van de natuur die de aardlijnen prachtig bloot heeft gelegd. Ga vooral ook met een bootje de zee op hier. De kapitein laat je de mooiste plekjes zien en vanaf zee ziet het er nog indrukwekkender uit dan vanaf het land. Het is een klimmetje, maar dat is het meer dan waard! Met een beetje geluk wordt je begroet door de dolfijnen.

Prachtige, door golfslag geërodeerde, stijle en grillige rotsen met doorkijkjes. Druk bezocht. Goed begaanbaar gemaakt middels aanlegde stenen trap. Mooist in zachte namiddaglicht.

Место невероятное! Единственное место скажем так в Лагосе, где самый красивый и единственный закат в море!) Приезжайте за часа 4 до заката, поверьте! там есть где походить!))) Обязательно проведите закат тут, укромных мест на скале хватает с головой!)) Тут есть и маяк и кафе, но лучше берите все с собой) Бесплатный туалет тоже есть) До центра Лагоса - 25 минут умеренным шагом) Тут можно днями ходить и открывать для себя что-то новое)

wunderschöner Ausflugs-und Wanderort. Tolle Ausblicke in alle Richtungen,besonders zum Meer hinunter. Dort kann man in den Felsen Öffnungen und Höhlen entdecken,Treppen führen abwärts. Von Lagos aus mit Schiffchen in die Durchgänge und Höhlen fahren. Leider immer sehr überlaufen. Es gibt dort Restaurants und Souvenirshops.

Tikrai verta apsilankyti. Gražus vaizdai. Galima grožėtis tiek iš viršaus, tiek laiptais nusileidus iki vandenyno ir už atlygį tave paplugdys apie uolas, pro arkas uolose. Šalimais yra nemokama automobilių stovėjimo aikštelė. Daug kas važiuoja palydeti saulę i vandenyną. Tada ir uolos atrodys kitaip apšviestos saulės spinduliu.

Very wonderful place with a dramatic views. In summer very crowded, so it's better to go early in the morning. The best way to admire this place is from the water, so to rent a kayak is a gold idea

You will just be awed by the wonder of nature. Those grottos are so astonishing and they make this place so wonderful. This is a dreamy place with fresh air,the sound of the ocean and the breeze of the wind. You can go down and take a boat trip it costs 20 € per person bit expensive but it's a must see at least once

Nicht zum baden geeignet, aber tolle Felsformationen. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze (kostenfrei) und dann kann man ein kleines Stück laufen und den Weg hinab zur Küste gehen. Es ist ziemlich gut besucht.
Alternativ werden Bootsfahrten dorthin angeboten

Brilliant cliff top boardwalk from the car park at Ponta da Piedade that is just short of 1mile in length and comes out at the road that leads down to Porta mos. There are lots of easy wheel chair friendly viewing points along the walk .
The views are stunning.
There is a cafe at the start and also toilets.

Eine wunderschöne Übersicht über die Küste und den Atlantik. Ein Besuch ist absolut zu empfehlen. Kostet auch nichts . Morgens war noch recht viel Nebel der lichtete sich dann gegen Mittag Nachmittag hin. Unglaublich tolle Aussicht von dort.

Przylądek Miłosierdzia należy do czołówki najpiękniejszych miejsc jakie oferuje Algarve. Bardzo często pojawia się na kartkach pocztowych. Warto jednak zobaczyć piękno formacji skalnych fantazyjnie rozsianych po wodach Atlantyku na własne oczy. Na zachód od latarni morskiej rozciąga się doskonale przygotowana ścieżka widokowa oferująca szereg punktów obserwacyjnych, przystosowana również do poruszania się wózkami.

Absolutely stunning views and place to walk round, definitely recommend. I wore sandals, but if you wanted to climb the rocks in some areas sturdier footwear would probably be better! No barriers around the edge of some very steep drops so care needed.

Awesome scenery.
The rock formations are incredible and a must see from above and by boat.
Please try the boat option if possible, I highly recommend finding one of the small boat operators (mostly ex fishermen) rather than the main operators (the main operators are in the huts, the fishermen are along the Quay)
We had an amazing experience on the smaller boat, with our 'pilot' getting us into the caves themselves.
The restaurant near the lighthouse isn't the best, the food is good, but the staff are a little surly.
