Sieht ein wenig nach Kantine aus, aber der erste Eindruck täuscht. Netter, schneller Service und original portugiesische Küche mit vielen Fleisch- und Fischspezialitäten zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Geheimtipp der Einheimischen: Unbedingt Sonntags kommen und die Spezialität des Hauses probieren: Reis und Meeresfrüchte (gibt's nur Sonntags}

Viele Jahre haben wir in unseren 8 Tagen wo wir in Lagos waren mindestens 5 mal hier gegessen, immer lulas greladas, dieses Jahr waren wir 3 mal lulas greladas essen, jedes Mal sehr schlecht, erstens sehr wenig, zweitens entweder hart gegrillt oder sehr zäh, das llies uns ein anderes Lokal suchen.

Welcoming and nice staff, delicious food. Seafood Rice (served only on Sundays) was great. Portion for 2 is enough for 3-4 people. Located a little outside the old town, so you can avoid the touristy vibe by coming here.

Excelente restaurante em Lagos. Tive sorte de arrumar uma mesa sem ter reservado. Chegue 15 min antes de abrir. Os atendentes são simpáticos e atenciosos. O arroz de marisco é IMPERDÍVEL, muito mais frutos do mar que arroz. Das melhores descobertas do Algarve.

Geheimtipp, in Lagos.
Besser kann man nicht für wenig Geld Essen gehen. Einfache typische Spezialitäten aus Portugal. Cataplana Riesenportion mit viel Fisch, aber auch die Fleischgerichte wie z.b. Lamm sehr zu empfehlen.

На мой взгляд, ужастно. Эдакая совковая столовка. Салаты ни о чем, просто поструганные овощи. Я заказал телячью печень, это был кошмар, подошва на кроссовках нежней и мягче чем то, что мне приготовили. Но справедливости ради мой жене рыба понравилась. Только по этому 2 звездочки.
Вернусь ли я сюда, ни за что и ни когда.

O restaurante costuma estar cheio durante a época alta, portanto vale a pena marcar com alguns dias de antecedência. Recentemente com a afluência de mais turistas o serviço tem ficado mais lento, uma nota para os proprietários.

This was one of the best restaurant we were in Lagos and the surroundings. If you want to eat some traditional food, from a local restaurant then this is the place.
Huge portions for a normal price. The service is good, even though they are having a lot of tables to serve :) People are waiting outside, for a free table. We did that... so make sure you call for a reservation.
I had Picanha, which contains some grilled veal with rice and chips. My friends had Sea food with rice, which is available only on Sundays. One portion is enough for two people.

Buena comida a buen precio. Restaurante a tope, hay que reservar. Thiago, un chico encantador,muy eficiente en su trabajo y atento. Volvemos a repetir el sábado, ya hemos reservado y sin duda lo recomiendo.
Comida típica portuguesa, lugar acogedor, aunque tendrían que ampliarlo porque la gente sin reserva tiene que irse, es un sin parar de gente. Local fuera de la zona turística.

Had 2 hours to get lunch before meeting back at Praca Gil Eanes. Quick walk to the restaurant and all locals and no tourists. Owner was nice and assisted us in ordering. We had sardine, clams, grilled squid and salad. Definitely come here instead of eating at the tourist area.

We arrived around 7pm and some guests were sitting outside, so we figured we would want to sit outside to enjoy the evening sun while dining, but the staff yelled at us. The place was not full and I didn't understood why he acted so rude and other guests were treated with the same attitude, yet they stayed. We left without ordering.

Fantastic food but poor service
A traditional Portuguese restaurant tucked away in the ‘Locals’ part of town outside the walls. A must to book on Sunday for the specialty ‘Seafood Rice’
Our reserved table was already laid with a small dish of Cod Roe, olives, small pots of cheese and sardine patê (chargeable €3).
Our server produced the menu (in English) but no wine list, he explained the special on Sunday is the seafood rice.
Having been warned the main courses are huge we forgo a starter and went straight to the main event. Ordering water, a bottle of house white wine, the pork served with chips, scallops, rice and a pot of beans and ham in a stock. I ordered the special.
My better half’s Pork arrived. The meat was delicious and very thick requiring a steak knife, chips and scallops were ok but the bean, ham and stock was delicious. The server said my seafood rice was on its way.
After 20 minutes, three reminders of the missing food and a message the ‘Kitchen made a mistake’, no real apology, my dish arrived.
The kitchen may have took pity on the long wait and gave me extra rations as the pot was huge and brimming full of Prawns, clams, mussels, pieces of crab legs, rice in a delicious stock.
It was apparent the staff where overwhelmed by the number of people seated and equally waiting at the door, rushing around not really having time to provide the level of service to meet a good dining experience. You cannot just blame the Kitchen, the waiting staff have to take responsibility for missing plates. This maybe just a Sunday special thing, I hope so as we will return at sometime in the future.

Netter und schneller Service. Waren zweimal dort und begeistert. Leckerer Fisch zu fairen Preisen. Es gibt hier noch Tische ohne Reservierung. Können es absolut empfehlen. Leckerer Hauswein und das sehr günstig!! Karte und frischen Tagesfisch.

O restaurante "Os Lambertos" fica muito bem situado, com bons acessos e onde é fácil estacionar, no verão é outra conversa.
Tem pratos grelhados típicos onde o peixe é rei, embora também tenha carne grelhada, complementado o menu.
A carta de vinhos é variada embora twnha um vinho frisante que acompanha muito bem o peixe grelhado.
A equipa é simpática e atenciosa.
O preço do peixe de mar é um pouco exagerado para o normalmente praticado na área, 39,50$/kilo.

This place serves amazing seafood rice (only on Sunday's) but the waiters can be hit and miss. Have been twice once they were friendly and the other time the rudest I have ever seen, not only to me but to everyone. The son who inherited this from his late father needs to get a handle on them before they ruin a business that has a long standing reputation. Good food with appalling service is not a winning combination!!!

Если бы я знала, как поставить минус 1000, я бы поставила. Хотите почувствовать себя человеком второго сотрта : велкам! Еда в общем, как везде. Но более хамского отношения я не встречала нигде. В первый раз обслуживание было так себе, списали на разницу в языке, мало ли, не поняли. Забронировали столик. Пришли точно ко времени, официант сказал: да, я помню вы бронировали, но видите, все занято.

Fuimos a cenar mi pareja y yo y nos encantó.
No cogen reservas a partir de las 8 de la tarde con lo cual tuvimos que esperar una media hora hasta que nos sentaron.
Pedimos Salmón, estaba buenísimo, sin duda lo mejor. Además pedimos calamar, fue lo menos destacado y gambas al ajillo que también recomiendo, nos gustaron mucho.
La atención fue quizás un poco lenta, pero diría que como en toda la zona del Algarve.

After being recommended here we were disappointed to be fair. I don’t normally review but I think it should be said. You need to treat all paying customers with respect. The waiter was rude and we clearly weren’t wanted there from the get go. We would love to rate the food but left before receiving it. From the reviews I would say it is yummy! Please just be kinder, we were to you.

A very local experience plus one of the best meals I've had in Portugal! I came here at 6pm to reserve a table for later the same evening and apparently the restaurant was fully booked until 9pm! It didn't look much but it was a sign of good food. Me and my boyfriend ordered grilled squid and a swordfish. Both were delicious! My boyfriend is not a seafood lover but he said that the grilled swordfish was the tastiest fish he's ever had! The food is served with potatoes and vegetables. We also ordered a jar of green wine which resembled cava and prosecco but better! The prices of the main dishes were very affordable (10-13€ per portion), however, we were charged 4.20€ for the bread, olives butter, and cheese, while we only ate the olives and bread. The menu specified the prices of these sides separately and we thought we'd be charged for only those that we'd eat. Unfortunately we were charged for all of them and that's why this review is getting 4 instead of 5 stars. I'd recommend asking in advance about the couverts or just skip the olives&bread and order an actual side that you would enjoy much more.

Restaurant plus traditionnel avec une équipe super. Tiago est très sympathique et nous a servi comme des rois. Les plats sont super bons surtout les scampis grillés et le bife à la portugaise. Un vrai régal, nous y sommes retournés exprès une deuxième fois.

No se come mal , pero recomiendo solo pedir pescado. El salmón espectacular. Pedí pata de cordero.. y me trajeron chuletas, no proteste por qué se eternizaria la cena, hay que decir que estaban buenas. Por lo demás , un ambiente típico portugués pero me dio la sensación que los españoles no caemos muy bien. Nada más entrar el dueño hizo ver que éramos españoles y medio bar mirándonos y hablando.. fue un poco incómodo.

Buono, ma dò 2stelle in meno perché un ristorante non può non accettare le carte di credito soprattutto se é molto frequentato da turisti!!! A noi è stato detto solo contanti... La cucina invece è strepitosa : le grigliate di mare proposta dal menu e il pesce fresco del giorno esposto all'entrata, in vetrina, vanno assolutamente assaggiate . il prezzo è ottimo . Non vuoi prenotare?, allora presentati intorno alle 19:30 è facile che trovi posto oppure attenderai pochi minuti.

Superbe expérience, très bonne nourriture portugaise et de très bonnes saveurs.
Le serveur était au petit soin pour nous, tout était parfait.
Seul petit bémol, qu'on ne puisse pas payer par carte bancaire, mais banque à proximité donc aucun problème.
Je conseille vivement ce restaurant.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Very friendly staff (to us two tourists speaking English). Amazing fish- honestly maybe the best sea bass I've had. Bottle of wine, one whole fish, vegetables and potatoes, olive, patte and bread for 50 euros which is very reasonable. This place is clearly popular with the locals, and we can see why.

Frischer Fisch, vor allem die Goldbrasse und den Thunfisch kann ich empfehlen. Hauswein super lecker. Wir waren während unseres Urlaubes gleich zwei mal dort. Preis auch super. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Lagos. Nicht leicht zu finden. Angenehme und freundliche Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal. Essen a la cart möglich, es werden aber auch wie anders üblich Prato do Dia (Tagesgerichte) angeboten. Die Preise sind erschwinglich, tendieren aber je nach Urlaubszeit. Ist aber auch zu verstehen, da diese sich auf ca. 6 Monate beschränkt.

Been coming here for years, so have my parents and friends. Best to go earlier in the day and book a table or be prepared for a wait for dinner. The fresh fish is great, with the portions being enough you have to roll the family back out the door after. My usual is the pork which is good enough to make it a stop i make every visit. I hope you have as great a meal as i always do, you should certainly try :)

The Portuguese eat more seafood than any other European nation. Os Lambertos is one of the finest examples of Portuguese dining. Be sure to book a reservation for Sunday night. As soon as the doors open at 7:00 pm it quickly fills and the place is buzzing. The seafood rice pot is one of their specialities. Take a 4 litre pot and stuff it full of prawns, shellfish and crab, with a layer of rice plus the chef's own secret sauce and the result is seafood heaven. This was a serving for one person!

Comimos probablemente el mejor arroz caldoso con marisco que hayamos probado. La ración, en la olla que nos dejaron en la mesa debía ser para 4 por lo menos y eramos 2. Luego te preparan un envase con lo que sobra si quieres. Tenía mucho marisco, de ahí el sabor. Repetiremos en un par de días porque lo merece.

Go there on a Sunday night and have the Arroz do Marisco. Rice and Seafood in a sort of stew. Stacks of big prawns clams mussels crab. Wonderful. Their normal menu is excelent also

Very nice Portuguese restaurant. There is a menu in English and staff speaks English. Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. We went on Friday about 1pm and it was getting busy but you could easy get a table. Definitely recommended.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, Fleisch und Fisch waren hervorragend zubereitet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
Auf den Tischen stehen frische, leckere, sehr appetitliche Tapas. Die kann man essen, muss es aber nicht. Ich finde sie sind auf jeden Fall ihren kleinen Preis, 5€ für 2 Personen wert. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und wir wurden sehr persönlich bedient. Den einen Punkt Abzug habe ich nur für das Ambiente gegeben. Das entspricht nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen von einem gemütlichem Lokal. Das Essen und der Service gleicht das eigentlich auch wieder aus. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder einen Tisch reservieren.

We came around lunch and had no wait to get a table. The portions were much larger than expected. We got the chicken kebab, tuna, biscuit cake, and orange roll. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent as well.

O tempo de espera efetivamente é algum, mas compensa. A comida é ótima e os preços nada exagerados. Uma dose dá perfeitamente para duas pessoas. Eu pedi salmão, vinham 3 postas e custou 11€,o meu marido pediu espetada de frango acompanha com batata arroz e feijão. De salientar que o feijão era divinal, parecia o feijão que as nossas avós faziam nas aldeias! A espetada são 10€. Tudo ótimo!

Will definitely come back here if we're back to Lagos. AMAZING food, VERY fresh seafood, affordable prices, very prompt service and friendly staff. Boss has a dry sense of humour. Been to a few restaurants in Lagos during our week's stay, this is the best one we've tried. Must try!

Camareros muy amables y bromistas pese a que llegamos a las 22.30 y aquí no están acostumbrados a eso.
Pedimos un arroz caldoso de marisco para 1 persona, aunque comen dos y casi tres personas. Aparte una brocheta de pollo, casi del tamaño de un brazo, y con dos bebidas, por tan solo 32€.

Be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation. Be prepared to wait if you do have a reservation. The place is packed and understaffed. We ordered lamb and clams. Had I only eaten the lamb I would rate this 5 stars. It was cooked and seasoned well and came with a side of rice, soup and french fries. It was enough to serve two people. However the clams were a huge upset. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly but more than 1/3 of the clams had enough sand in them to make the experience horrible. Maybe they were going through too many clams to have enough time to prep them properly for all the orders but that is no excuse to serve gritty clams. Had it not been for this one plate, the serving size, price, and quality were well worth 5 stars.

My husband and I tried to have dinner here twice and only managed to get a table once -- that is how popular Os Lambertos is among the locals. Naturally we had high expectations, which were unfortunately not met. The serving sizes are generous, which is probably why people dine here in big groups, however the food is not special. We were particularly disappointed with the grilled sardines as it lacked salt and could have been grilled a bit more. We tried the same dish at other local restaurants in the area and found those to be better. Tip: Should you decide to try this resto, book in advance or come right before they open. Service is slow and gets frantic since they're always packed.

Excellente cuisine portugaise traditionnelle connue des habitués et de touristes comme nous bien informés par des amis locaux. Pas de vue, intérieur simple mais la cuisine est goûteuse et l'atmosphère chaleureuse et conviviale.
