Super authentisches Restaurant abseits der Touristenrestaurants mit bebildeter Speisekarte. Die Preise sind mit 8-10 € pro Gericht mehr als günstig, wobei die Qualität der eingesetzten Waren sehr hochwertig ist. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht dem Gast jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir waren am nächsten Abend direkt nochmal dort essen.

Cocina portuguesa deliciosa a muy buen precio, vino de la casa de buen sabor y precio inmejorable, es un lugar para recomendar, cuando lo ves no parece lo que realmente es, pero te quedas un buen tiempo y no el establecimiento no para de estar lleno, ha sido un acierto ya que ibamos a uno recomendando en Tripadvisor pero sin entrar ya hubo mal rollo, así que callejeando habiamos visto este y sin dudarlo regresamos ...

Wir sind wegen einer Empfehlung unseres Hostels hierher gekommen. Es kommen viele Einheimische zum Essen und nur wenige Touristen!!! Das Essen ist super lecker und günstig!

Ristorantino eccellente, servizio familiare e cordiale, ottima cucina per un prezzo che ci ha stupito: abbiamo speso davvero poco pur mangiando pesce. È poco segnalato, ma speriamo che lo incontriate lungo il cammino per la città di Faro. Cercatelo!

Overrated. I waited 45 minutes for my order, Frango com Amêijoas. The chicken was super dry and overcooked and the fries was almost burnt. It was a huge disappointment.

Cod was vary tasty and fresh!! I expected little more vegetables in salad (some tomatoes or sth.) Sangria was just perfect, full of different fruits and cinamon. Definitely worth going!

We waited for food over 40 mins although we came FIRST. Even for a drink we had to wait about 25 mins... as the waiters recommended, we ordered baby octopus, but after 10 mins she came back and told us they don't have it unfortunately. Then we ordered mussels in white wine sauce and clams. Had to wait soo long it got dark. Waitress kept on bringing food to everybody who ordered food after us . Chicken in a sauce as a main dish came dry with frozen chips. Prices are unreasonable, I would not return to this restaurant.

Chyba najlepsze miejsce w Faro, gdzie dostaniesz zajebistą świeża rybę i najlepszą Sangrię! Miejsce ma swój klimaty, jeśli lubisz trochę spokoju w domowym klimacie to musisz to sprawdzić.

Très bon restaurant niveau plat mais quelle déception niveau service : la serveuse qui se trompe dans notre apéritif puis oublie de nous ramener le bon verre.
Serveuses non souriantes et stressees.
Commande d'un dessert et d'un café :
Après 30 minutes d'attente nous décidons de partir car la serveuse a tout simplement oublié de les noter.
En allant payer, nous nous sommes rendu compte que les desserts sont industriels
Tout compte fait ils ont bien fait de les oublier.

Definitely over rated restaurant, fishermen salad was very basic with seafood ingredients from the can, tasteless. Fish very average. Hause wine terrible, taste like the cheapest vine from the discount. True is that prices were low, maybe not extremely low, I would not come back. On top when you go to the toilet, you will pass by the kitchen, which explains all.....

Ci siamo ritrovati in questo ristorante per necessità e per fame, dato l'affollamento di altri posti più caratteristici. Leggendo le recensioni le aspettative erano buone, invece la cena è stata una delusione: il personale è gentile ma stanco e maldestro (sarà per il ritmo dell'alta stagione), la scelta dei piatti è limitata, la sangria bianca è annacquata e come se non bastasse abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi un'ora prima di essere serviti!

We were served immediately and friendly, communication in English is easily possible. We had freshly caught prawns, clams, octopus salad and Portuguese sausage, which was grilled at our table. Also we had a litre of sangria for a measly 6€.

Se volete mangiare come se fosse un'osteria andate qui e non ve ne pentirete. In due abbiamo speso 28,50 euro e abbiamo mangiato un antipasto, un bacalhau alla portoghese, un baccalà alla brace, due contorni e acqua. Buonissimo!

Espaço relativamente pequeno. Sossegado, e com ambiente descontraído. Comida bem confeccionada e saborosa. Funcionários preocupados em servir bem o cliente e em garantir que nada faltava na mesa. Único ponto negativo a falta de estacionamento. Recomendo

Wonderful place with wonderful service. While going there we weren't really convinced as one of the street didn't look promising, but it was really worth it! Delisious food, we made a mistake and got the sides to our main dishes as they offered, portions of food are pretty big and one chips shared between two people would have been enough. You can't pay by card, but ATM is 2 minutes walk from the restaurant. Totally loved the place will definitely come back there while visiting Faro!

Staff: Incredible... Even though there wasn't an issue with waiting for our order (as we were too busy in conversation) individually they apologised when serving the food and later when we left.
Very helpful when asked for suggestions.
Location: Really nice little square. A great place to eat if you like to be in the middle of the action with everybody out to party in the street on a weekend.
Food / Price: Amazing... Really is.

Segunda vez en dos años que repito en este lugar, tienen un personal muy agradable , la calidad de la comida va acorde al precio , comida típica y tradicional, los postres son caseros y están muy buenos y tienen bastante variedad en vinos. Ambiente juvenil y tranquilo, con una terraza en plena calle, dónde los vehículos pasan a escasos centímetros.

Fatal.
La peor experiencia gastronómica de todo el Algarve. Nos recomendaron el restaurante como una alternativa autentica, lejos de las ofertas turísticas y con poco encanto. No podríamos estar más decepcionados.
La comida estaba incomible. Nos pusieron una almejas pasadas que olían a podrido, un pate de sardinas que más parecía comida de gato que de humano. El pulpo no podia estar más duro y como toque final, el vino de la casa estaba diluido con agua.
El restaurante es barato si, pero a no ser que quieras pasarte la noche en el WC, no lo recomiendo.

We were positively surprised by amazing traditional Portuguese cousin. We had ameijoas da ria, frango com ameijoas and other tasty starters. The staff was quick and friendly. We highly recommend!

Found this place accidentally and so happy we did. I had the big shrimps and it was delicious. From the potatoes to sangria to fresh shrimp I was very pleased. My friends had the fish of the day and they loved it too. Also, dishes under 10€! Would definitely recommend!!

A fresh caught local seafood restaurant that serves traditional Portuguese meals. The waitperson is multilingual fluent in English, French, Spanish, and who knows what other language. Good well cooked meal at a reasonable price and a decent passable wine list. Good place to di e low keys.

Restaurant familial et typique ouvert à partir de 19h. J'y ai mangé deux soirs de suite et c'était très très bon. Poisson frais, chorizo, desserts... La serveuse est d'une incroyable gentillesse !!! Je vous recommande ce petit resto !!!

Lovely little restaurant. Traditional Portuguese dishes, fresh fish/seafood and quite big portions. It doesn't have big signposts all over the place and probably that what makes it a bit more special. Kind of hidden little gem. Lovely find. The only down side was the a car park and cars passing very close to the tables outside.

Cute little restaurant with a few outside tables. Very friendly owners. Slightly odd combinations of flavours in the food though, we wanted really simple seafood but both dishes came smothered in garlic or swimming in oil. The ubiquitous boiled potatoes had a strange flavour

Really nice place which opens on evenings (honestly almost impossible to find when closed). Cosy atmosphere to sit in or outside. Reasonable prices and very tasty food. Includes meat dishes, starters, and also fishes. Fresh grilled fish (Dourada) was fabulous for 9,5€ incl. some side dishes, also Gazpacho soup is great and Bacalhau a Bras with salad was very good. Fish and the B. a Bras you can see on photo. Great housewine for 2; 3,5 and 6,5€ for glass, 0,5l and 1l covers not only white and red, but also you can order house Vinho Verde. Strongly recommend this place. We were there twice during our short stay in Faro

Wir sind gegen Abend durch die Gassen gelaufen und haben den Laden gefunden. Da die Angestellten sich schon auf Dienstbeginn vorbereitet haben, konnten wir direkt einen Tisch für später reservieren. Zum Glück, wie wir später feststellten! Gäste haben teils auf nahe gelegenen Bänken auf freie Plätze gewartet.
Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen super! Wir hatten Thunfisch, Seebarsch, den weißen Hauswein und einen Nachtisch aus Mandeln, Feigen und anderem. Dazu gab es etwas Brot und Salat.
Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen und es sollte ein Tisch reserviert werden.

This is actually one of the best restaurants in whole Faro. They serve extraordinary fish and frutti di mate which differs every day (depending on the fisherman's luck). Twice as cheap and twice as great than any other place in Faro. The place is a must to visit. The staff is great and helpful and speaks great English.

This restaurant serves Portuguese classics. The quality of the food was very inconsistent ranging from great to bad. The sides and some of the desserts might be microwaved. Because of the great reviews we honestly expected more and left disappointed.

Doesn't look like much during the day but this place has great food and lovely servers ensuring you have a great experience.The helpful server also informed me which dishes were not only most delicious but most ecologically responsible. Had some of the best fish I've ever had smothered in garlic, butter and herbs. 5 stars!

Please, do not come and eat here. The fish is frozen and they use a brand of frozen fish that has been out of business for years in Spain. What is worse is that they sell it as fresh fish... This is a tourist trap. If you go there, DO NOT ASK for fish.

Stayed a week in faro, and this was the best quality for price meal we had by far. Their fresh fish was perfect and very reasonably priced.

BOTTOM LINE: not recommended but not completely awful.
We ordered bread and patè sardines. The patè was good but the bread was stale.
Then we ordered vegetable soup and it came half warm and half cold, as if they didn't microwave it well.
We ordered clams and sea bream - they were both VERY GOOD.
The wine was good but it had something floating in it.
After having liked the clams we decided to order some mussels which were simply not fresh and tasted bad. We left them on the table and after having told the waitress they were bad we were not compensated in any way.
Overall the service was good, and the waiting staff was warm and friendly.
By the way they do NOT accept credit cards.

Most incredible fish of the day, amazing olives, beautiful service! Great wine and cutest set up. Cannot fault and was my highlight of Faro. Hidden gem. So reasonably priced. Wish I was hungry enough to have eaten more!

In this restaurant is definitely the best food in Faro. I do not want to boast not one dish in particular, because every choice excellent. The staff and restaurant owner Antonio will do everything to make guests feel at home.
