Excellent food and wine. The desserts were to die for. The place was very clean.Service slow but as the company was so good it didn't matter so much. Would definitely recommend it. Good value for money.

Best place to eat in Vilamoura? You know it's good when they are not in the street trying to get you in! Great food and attentive staff with a sense of humour.

My wife and I visited the place a few days ago. It was another choice as the place we had chosen for us was closed on Monday. We come from Denmark and love fish dishes, so being in Portugal is like getting a step closer to heaven. Despite coming from a country surrounded by sea, we ad Danes have a very problematic relationship with fish. Sometimes I think it is by law that the supply of fish and shellfish must be poor quality and very expensive. We quickly decided on the region's traditional law of Cataplana. We chose the version with seafood. In fact, the most expensive on the menu except lobster. The serving should at least be for two people. While we were waiting a small clay dish was served with a sausage that was grilled. At the bottom of the dish was some burning liquid on top of it, on a small clay grill lay the mentioned sausage which was slowly grilled. Very special. As an appetizer, it tasted quite good. After the initial exercises, we switched over to an English-speaking waitress. A happy and talking one of the kind. The main course was served after a suitable and not too long wait. It was a piece of equipment with various instruments for seafood, side dishes, extra napkins and a cute little apron for each of us. This is because sometimes it is a bit of a job to get the meat out of the crab claws in particular. We also got a small bowl of rice. The dish tasted great. It is served in a copper or steel bowl. Besides a considerable amount of seafood, the dish also consists of an incredibly tasty soup. So you start by scooping up some rice on the plate, then various seafood and a suitable amount of soup. And then it's about to get rid of shrimp, mussels and crabs for the shell, and then get a heavenly mouthful of it all. We couldn't eat it all. This is usually the case for us. I want to believe a very hungry man will also be full. After finishing the meal, it is time to inspect the damage and clean the hands and face. A few noticeable stains on the tablecloth were the result of our efforts. On the fall rope we got a little farewell dessert at no charge. A cold little things that were fresh and good. The court was not quite cheap, but the taste, quality, service and price are very good.

Restaurante portugués con el pescado como plato destacado. A parte de la carta, te ofrecen pescados del día. La atención del personal es muy atenta y amable. Los postres te los muestran en un carrito y apetecen todos. El precio es algo elevado pero está bien.

Great traditional Portuguese restaurant, when we went it was packed out which is a good sign. The food was very nice, I had the Argentine kebab and my partner had the chicken kebab. The prices are very reasonable.

Went here from reading other people’s reviews. We were very happy that we came here. The food was so delicious and the staff were very welcoming and knowledgable about the food. I had the very tasty monkfish “fisherman style”. We will certainly visit here again.

We go to Vilamoura 3 - 4 times a year and always make a point of visiting Branaca. The food and staff are fantastic and the wine prices are very reasonable. Great menu of traditional Portuguese food with excellent choice of meats and fish. As for value for money, you will have to go a long way to find food this good at comparable prices. Will be returning in February and April next year and will definitely be visiting on both occasions.

5stars+ , fantastic food (we had the sea bass and monk fish), very friendly people, good service, quite affordable. Make reservations if you want to be sure you get a place.

Pedimos la cataplana de pesacados para dos y podíamos haber cenado tres o cuatro. Tuvimos que esperar pero mereció la pena. El servicio exquisito, los camareros muy pendientes, sin duda un acierto en la mejor zona de Villamoura.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. I had the sea bass (pictured), which was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend chose the cod fish Portuguese style which was really tasty. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. They had run out of the single sea bass potions but I was offered half portion of the large one instead. We ordered the large beers. When they came out we couldn't stop laughing as the beer glasses perched on the table were nearly taller than us seated. I'd say they was about three pints in each! As far as value goes, we felt it was excellent value. We're only here for a week but will definitely be going back once more before we leave.

Went 2 times this September (2019). The first time I've ordered Paella. I can safely say that it was the BEST Paella I've ever eaten on my life, and I've been to Valencia, also. They don't leave the entire thing on the table, they put it on an adjacent table and serve you as many times as you would like (until it's over, of course). The second time I've ordered seafood rice, it wasn't the best one I've eaten, but it was really close to it. Again, same service as the Paella, all perfect! The guys and owner that are serving you, are amazing, super handy, and with a great sense of humour. Not to expensive also, especially considering it's Vilamoura. Each one of the dishes for 2 persons is around 30€. Will definitely come back. Best place in Vilamoura by far!!!! Honestly, every other restaurant I've been here is garbage, next to this one.

Been coming here for years. One of the best places in vilamoura. Food is exceptional and the owners are friendly and helpful. Can't believe someone slated the place because she had to wait a while for the food with a table of eleven people. That's a big ask for a chef, get a grip !! 5 stars all the way .

Food ok but it took ages for us to get served. Table booked for 9pm and food arrived at 1045pm. We were a table of 11 but even so you tend to lose interest after a while. I won't rush back.
