Some of the most amazing dinner meals we've ever had. Fresh, cooked on point and with outstanding sauces. The restaurant staff is very friendly and provides perfect service. Highly recommended

Um restaurante que está dividido em três andares e a medida que vamos subindo as vistas são cada vez melhores, no último andar as vistas sobre a meia praia são espetaculares, só por isso já merece a visita.

We reserved 4 days prior upstairs by the window were we sat and were told to move. Food/fish was expensive and over cooked. Service was terrible and very rude! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Go to sebastian's in the square! Much classier and much better food. NOT HAPPY AND A WASTE OF OUR MONEY!!!

Cuisine correcte mais merite tout juste la moyenne... (sole et monkfish parfaits, thon tres moyen). en bref, nous n'avons pas ete emerveilles. Ne prend pas la cb ce qui devient de plus en plus rare dans une ville aussi touristique ;-(

Sehr gutes Essen. Vorbestellung aber für Sitzplätze auf der Innenterrasse unbedingt emphehlenswert. Nur ein paar Meter abseits des Trubels in der Altstadt. Zur Stoßzeit aber sehr stark besucht, sodass die Bedienung auf der Außenterrasse vor del Lokal leider etwas vernachlässigt wurde. Nachbestellungen und Abrechnung kaum möglich.

This was our third visit, this time with friends. Yet again they didn't disappoint. We all had 3 courses and we all loved each one..
All served by a friendly waiter. We asked for our compliments to be passed to the chef.
And all prices are very reasonable.
Thank you for making our evening.

Great position overlooking Maia Praia beach. Eat on the terrace if possible for lovely setting. Food is excellent and service very friendly. Pricing very competitive

First time in our lives we left without giving a tip. The young guy with mustache who let us in was the only friendly person there. Good food and nice view but that's it. The old, blonde waitress with glasses was simply rude not even saying how dirty her hands were. Disgusting. The other waiter was not friendly either. My husband spotted their attitude and decided not to order. I ordered sea bass, really tasty but served by person with zero manners. Hope those people will read it and think a little about learning some class. It's more than clear they are nice only for people who look like that had a lot of money. Waiters should think twice, you can easily misjudged things like that. Dirty forks were second thing we didn't like.

Gorgeous meal. The fish of the day (sea bass) was HUGE and really reasonably priced - not to mention extremely tasty. Really cute atmosphere despite being on the outside table on the street. Definitely go and try this place.

Was reccomended to us by a friend who went a long time ago. Food was very average, steak was cooked a lot less than ordered, and some of the staff were a little rude. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Um barman simpático e atencioso, que faz a exceção de um local único.
Um '' chefe de sala '' que deveria regressar à escola primária e aprender as regras da boa educação e bem receber.
Mesmo com uma casa cheia há sempre um boa forma de receber.

Etwas versteckt gelegenes aber gemütliches Restaurant mit Blick auf den Hafenausgang von Lagos. Das Essen ist ein Mix aus traditioneller Küche und Burgern. Meine Empfehlung: der frisch gepresste Orangensaft, die Scampi mit Knoblauch gebraten und Brandy sowie Portwein flambiert und Crêpes oder Mandelkuchen als krönenden Abschluss. Obrigado Navegador!

Le choix du Chef (qui parle aussi un peu français) était parfait et la banane flambée : une tuerie !
Les enfants aussi se sont régalés : super soirée avec un service top niveau ;-)

Food was ok, but slightly lacklustre for the price. Service was up to a decent standard; however our order was messed up. Overall relatively good food, but the rest left a lot to be desired... A. True tourist trap!

Un restaurant que je recommande a 100 %, étant touriste français c'est très dur de trouver un restaurant qui n'est pas un attrape touriste.
L'entrée, le plat et le dessert étaient délicieux très bien assaisonner, la cuisson parfaite et frais, l'accueil étais plus que chaleureux.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. My mother held her wedding meal on their roof terrace. The setting was perfect, looking out over the harbour at sunset and the owner put so much effort into making everything special. The food was INCREDIBLE, beautiful seafood starters, succulent steak followed by fruit and ice cream (which was cooked in front of us). This is by far the best restaurant in Lagos, a must visit!

Rülps, sorry das ich so anfangen muss. Hier gibt es nur ein Problem.
Wenn man eigentlich satt ist, dann muss man trotzdem so lange weiter essen bis der Teller leer ist. Ob Kataplana oder Tagesfisch Steak a la Portugal etc. Super Service und ein netter Chef. Preis Leistung stimmt. Toller Abend. Wieder ein Gassentip von der Algarve.

This is an old school restaurant. Had some wonderful fish there and I understand why its an institution in Lagos. With the building and location they have, their experience and knowledge they could go way over where they are right now which is pretty much what I'd call a restaurant surfing on their reputation. Giving 4* still since the fish was AAA

Qs posto all'interno è bellissimo,dal piano superiore ha un'ottimo vista mare,è molto accogliente,la cucina è in vista,il servizio è buono , ma non perfetto neanchè lontanamente dipende anche se è affollato oppure no..si mangia molto bene e i prezzi non sono bassi, ma accettabili.

In der Füller der Restaurantangebot in Lagos ist das NAVEGADOR ein super Tipp. Sehr gutes Essen, von Fisch über Fleischgerichte mit den passenden Weinen dazu und einem guten Service.

A lovely resturant leading to the terrace overlooking the main street/river. Food is excelent, good quality but slightly above average for cost. Excelent waiter service on terrace, very chatty, pleasant experience all together.

Wir wurden nach erfolgter Tischzuteilung wieder weg geschickt, weil wir lediglich Getränke und Nachspeise konsumieren wollten, obwohl das Restaurant bei weitem nicht voll ausgelastet war.

Went for family lunch (6 people). Had lamb rack, traditional Portuguese steak and fish/prawns. Everything was excellent, can recommend this place. If anything, service could be slightly improved.

Very good restaurant with friendly staff, good views too. Loved it on the first visit, went back 8 days later and at 12.55 all the staff were eating their lunch and were not interested in customers. Very annoying, went round the corner and had a much better meal than I'd had here. So the annoying staff did me a favour.

Ok but not great ... small portions and quite expensive. On the plus side the roof terrace has the best views in Lagos and the puds and wine were good. We have so far eaten in 5 restaurants in Lagos and this is our least favourite.

Had a great dinner here with tasty food and great service. We had fish and meat, both tasted great. I liked the mushroom-meat sauce to the Tornedo I ordered; the meat was perfectly medium cooked. We had a chance to watch the kitchen staff cooking, since we were seated directly in front of the kitchen - interesting!

Alright place. Nothing more nothing less. Food was good. Service got slower and slower for every minute. In the end we got our desserts separately, tasted good but they should have serves us all the same time. I had to watch my friends eat for 20 minutes.

This restaurant has loads of character, the food was good for all seven of us. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and particularly helpful with my dad in his wheelchair. Would recommend highly.

Cuidado sirven las cataplanas tan gastadas del uso, que el recubrimiento protector interios no existe. Estas expuesto al envenenamiento del cobre.
El resto de platos no tienen valor culinario.
La terraza es agradable con vistas al rio.
Te hacen la cuenta sumada a mano en un papel y no te cobran con tarjeta.
El trato del propietario es desagradable.

Nice experience. The restaurant was comfortable, waiters very close and kind and food wonderful. The menu was maybe a bit short, I missed some dishes typical from Portuguese gastronomy as rice. Specially remarkable their flambé desserts
