Fresh fish restaurant. Small family run business down a side street. Came recommended to us and I have to agree. Not as fancy as the other restaurants around it but food is good.

Some of the best food I have ever had. The sardines where great and the paella was fantastic. We where a table of 11 and the restaurant was brilliant everything came out at the same time and the food was fresh. The staff where great will definitely return.

Such a lovely restaurant and the man running it makes you feel at home. Fresh fish and great good. Prepackaged dessert is a minor flaw in my opinion but this place is great for a nice meal in a quiet surrounding.

Wonderful place, REAL food especially the local fish dishes and their own home made desert is a perfect ending to the best fish entre. Highly recommended to everyone, even vegetarians!

Had sardines which were good. Also had squid kebab and grill seabass which were very average and did not have any seasoning. Overall I find the food pricey for the quality that you get.

Amazing! We asked for a suggestion and Joaquim, kindly recommended the cataplana. It was super tasty, we were impressed! The portions are big and prices more than decent for the quality and size. The staff was super nice, welcoming and friendly. I can't recommend the place more, obrigado Prazeres! :)

Cataplana muy buena y el camarero que nos atendió a medida que se iba soltando con nosotros un encanto! Es pequeña la entrada y te puede hacer no entrar, pero tenéis que entrar vale la pena.

Restaurante familiar y tradicional en Albufeira. Comida siempre buena y casera. Pescado estupendo. Bacalao a la moda de la casa y asado una delicia. Atendimiento maravilloso. No me canso de ir año tras año y una vez tras otra.

Buenas noches, hemos estado cenando, el servicio deja mucho que desear para los españoles, porque cuando han llegado un grupo de españoles a las 22.30 no les han dejado sentarse pero después unos clientes de alemania si les han dejado sentarse. Creo que este restaurante no le gustan los españoles.

Excelente restaurante , huyendo del tremendo turismo inglés y de los horrorosos restaurantes buscamos algo típico hasta que por fin lo encontramos ; el señor que sirve es muy amable y parece seco al principio;pescado de calidad y raciones abundantes; es un restaurante de comida casera portuguesa; 100x100 recomendable

A great restaurant, we have been here many times and always take our friends here when their visiting. Food is wonderful and service is always fabulous.
Love the monkfish kebabs, hubby loves the steak.

Petit resto avec des plats traditionnels correctes mais attention aux petits en cas pour l apéro car facturés 8€ ( beurre, paté de sardine, olives) un peu chère quand même. Personnel sympathique

Dans une rue piétonne qui mène aux dernières grandes artères avant la plage, ce restaurant est discret. Forte revendication , portugaise, locale, familiale, fait maison avec produits (nobles) frais. Tout est vrai. A l'entrée, la vitrine réfrigérée montre les produits frais que la cuisinière récupère selon les commandes. Salle moyenne et au fond, la cuisine où s'affèrent la cuisinière et le patron. En salle ( Nelly ?) est présente et fait tout pour parler "votre" langue.... Le service est rapide. La cuisson et les ingrédients, biens. Le dessert de la maison est appétissant, à l'oeil, et bon en bouche : un réconfort, pour un palais français. L'addition est plus que raisonnable.

Restaurant portugais situé dans le centre d'Albufeira. L'accueil est chaleureux et le service correct.
Les plats sont plutôt moyens et préparés avec des produits frais.
Les tarifs pratiqués par cet établissement sont abordables pour le Portugal.

Si quieres comida casera portuguesa, es de los pocos lugares en Albufeira. Lo bueno es que los guiris no van a estos sitios. Carnes espectaculares y pulpo maravilloso.

You don't have to photograph everything you eat. On this one occasion though, I wish I had. I was to all-consumed by the beautiful Cataplana that I completely forgot. We were recommend this restaurant by our Uber driver and we were not disappointed. Excellent Portuguese cooking in a homely and friendly setting. Highly recommend.

Been here a few times over the years and loved it! Just been there again and it was a mistake, I watched the chief try and break apart a frozen portion of cod witch was cooked for me! If I want frozen fish I would go to Iceland. Wont be going back.

Friendly and helpful waiter. Delicious seafood. We had the octopus special and Clams. Yum yum and of course fresh! Highly recommend. So glad we were able to find this gem among all those touristy bland looking spots.

Service was great, can't fault it. Food however wasn't good at all. I wouldn't recommend to order neither pasta or salad. Better restaurants next door. On a good note we got refunded for the really bad dishes.

Restaurant traditionnel et familial, service rapide et sympas. Carte variée et assiettes plutôt copieuses. Une excellente adresse si vous souhaitez éviter les restaurants de la grande place !

Super restaurant, bon accueil, serveurs très gentils, starters à 2€ énormes, et plats diverses et pour tous: des plats avec poisson, viande, et 4 plats végétariens dont les lasagnes que je recommande. N’hésitez pas :)

Comida portuguesa típica (se bem que não percebo o porquê das paellas) relativamente boa, excelentes petiscos com preços "normais" para Albufeira. A cataplana não tem nada de especial e poderia ser simplesmente designada como caldeirada que seria mais correto.

Hemos comido aquí nuestro último día en Albufeira. Y es el mejor sitio sin duda alguna en el que hemos comido GENIAL, el trato de la camarera que nos atendió(Que hablaba español sin problema) ha sido inigualable, ha salido todo muy rápido y riquísimo. Recomendamos sin duda alguna el sitio, y de el, el arroz de marisco, que ponía que era como para dos personas y hemos comido tres e igualmente puedo decir que podrían comer cuatro. Todo lo que diga se queda corto. Volveré si algún día vuelvo a caer por aquí. GRACIAS

We were lucky and got to sit outside. I had piri piri chicken with its own jar of hot paste, Dad had the seafood paella. Both were perfect. Lovely little unpretentious place away from the manic square

Service is basic. we orded a paella for two portion was so small that I complained about it the answer was: O we have put some mussels and scrimps in, this is the portion we give. We left the restaurant hungry and had a another meal at Shalom''s around the corner.

Great food. Fresh, light, tasty. Traditional Portuguese fare available. Get the clams, the tomato salad, any if the fresh fish. All good.
Staff are very friendly - we’ve been here twice on this visit. On our list for next year.

Das Essen und die Bedienung waren top, sehr individuell und sehr lecker. Wir haben die typische Cataplana probiert und waren sehr begeistert! Ambiente ist einfach und der Chef scheint recht Fußballbegeistert zu sein alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Wifey had the Paella. Reckons it was the best she's ever had! Ever!
So recommend this place. If you're visiting Albufeira, have a meal here. You won't regret it!

Die Paella (vegetarisch) für zwei Personen war ok. Etwas schwach gewürzt. Die Menge war ausreichend. Der Service war super! Ein echt lieber alter Mann hat uns bedient. Der Espresso war gut sowie der Hauswein (weiß)
