First class restaurant we are here 4 times in 10 days we were in albuferia
They catered well for daughter and grandson who both have coliac disease. And have to follow a rigid gluten free diet .place is very clean staff are great .and menu really good wether you have tourist or off the menu will certainly be back and highly recommend

This was a very nice place instead. They do a selection of there menu of there 3 courses menu for €10 which is crazy! The quality is amazing! I hope we have time to go back and try the al a carte menu as there was some very nice sounding dishes on there. The service was good and the restaurant is very nice to. The wine selection was good to. If you i town you would be a fool not go here!

Accueil sympathique.
Nous avons pris 2 menu touristique. En entrée du pain l'ail, déçu nous nous attendions à une entrée plus typique qu'une demi baguette grillée avec du beurre à l'ail.
Pour les plats, mon conjoint a prit un filet de poisson excellent, pour ma part j'ai pris le poulet piri piri mais celui ci était sec et pas très assaisonner. Au niveau des desserts, nous avons été extrêmement déçu. Une crème brûlée qui ne ressemblait pas à une creme brûlée et une mousse mangue qui ressemblait plutôt à un sunday trop sucrée.

This is a fabulous restaurant with friendly service, food is extremely tasty with a varied menu. We went there for my 60th both were given a free glass of champagne and liquor end of meal. Prices are VERY reasonable.

Delightful restaurant. We had Cataplana and it was delicious! The hosts are so warm and friendly. Try the pumpkin in filo pastry dessert. We were offered -free of charge- a brandy or port tasting. Must try this restaurant!

Tienen un menú degustación por 10 euros para turistas con gran variedad de platos pedimos pan de ajo, espagueti boloñesa, lasaña vegetal y de postre brownie y tarta de calabaza con café. Todo muy rico y se ve que era casero un precio muy económico lo recomiendo. Eso si no tienen carta en Español pero los camareros se esfuerzan en explicarte lo que tienen de menú.

I ordered a fish "cataplana" it was worth it ,friendly staff and the chef is the owner so you can be sure the food is prepared with my colleagues ordered Sea bream "dourado"it was the larges bream that I have seen being served in a restaurant ,they had a good selection of wine and the Desert was outstanding I had Mango mouse with cream .And the best was the bill ,it was very reasonable for the standard of the food .

It’s hard to beat an affordable three course meal for ten euros like the one Uzonj offers. The selection is broad and the food is tasty. I rate this a four for a combination of value for money, ambience and to some extent quality of food. It’s not fine dining but its good food!

3 corse meal for 10 euro. Big main meal. And very very nice. And free glass or port or brandy after it. Deffo recommend. Friendly staff, excellent service. The one down side which let it down was my partner ordered the chocolate brownie for desert and it had nuts in and she can't eat nuts. The staff should warn that it has nuts in. Someone with a serious allergy could get hurt. But that was the only problem. If you are in albufeira, this place is a must.

This restaurant was recommended by our local tour guide. It it didn't disappoint. The three-course, ten Euro menu is a bargain and the food quality exceptional. Try the sea bass either bone in or out. The veggie lasagna was as good as you will get anywhere. The central location just south of 'The Worms' roundabout makes it walkable for many and an inexpensive taxi ride for most.

Had the best dining experience here. They have a 10 euro menu which has an excellent range to choose from. I had the soup both visits, sea bass one night and the lasagna the next and the pumpkin strudle both nights too. They were all excellent and the lasagna was exceptional....the best I've ever had. In addition, the staff are lovely. Friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is relaxing, warm and comfortable with a great atmosphere. I would have expected to pay double or more for this but the price was an extra joy.

come dolce una crema catalana deliziosa, da bere una birra sambuca e caffè.

Love this place! We went in by chance didn't read any reviews before hand. Greeted by the lady boss and a very friendly staff. We have chosen a lunch set meal £10 each with 3 courses . High quality food with great bargain price. At the end they even offer us a small potion of Portuguese wine and Marcia on the house. So pleased to find this place!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Fantastic food at reasonable pricing! The atmosphere and service is fantastic. Marianna is very warm and welcoming as is the other staff. For great food go to Uzonj. We ate there several times for lunch and supper.

Für 10€ gab es ein Touristenmenü mit Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Dessert.
Das Essen war sehr lecker und für diesen Preis eine große Portion.
Meine Freundin hatte Seebarsch und ich Fish and Chips - beides sehr gut!
Zudem ist das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir hatten Hühnchen Piri Piri und Cataplana de peixe. Das Hühnchen war wirklich lecker aber das Cataplana de peixe war grauenhaft. Einen von zwei Fischsorten in der Cataplana war nicht heiss genug, war lauwarm, Garnelen waren aus Aquakultur und haben nach garnix geschmeckt, außerdem waren Surimi drin (Surimi ist für mich kein Fisch und kein Seafood und hat in einem 29€ Gericht nichts zu suchen). Bedienung war anfangs sehr nett, dann habe ich sie darauf hingewiesen das da Surimi drin sind und gefragt ob das normal wäre, sie meinte das ist unser Rezept, lass es einfach liegen wenn es dir nicht schmeckt, sagte sie zu mir. Ich habe dann nicht mehr weiter gegessen weil es einfach nicht geschmeckt hat. Als die Bedienung dann abgeräumt hat fragte sie auch nicht ob es geschmeckt hat oder ob alles in Ordnung wäre. Ich habe dann mein feedback einem anderem Kellner gegeben. Er meinte das er nicht verstehen kann wie das mit dem Fisch passieren konnte, zu Surimi hat er nix gesagt, aber bei den Garnelen hat er zugestimmt. Im Endeffekt hat er einen Rabatt von 5 Euro gewährt. Meinung nacht ist dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlenswert.

One of my new favourite restuarests in albufeira. The food and service is excellent. It's a bit out of the way (which is great) of the crowds and offers a delightful experience. The sea bass was wonderful. The mascerpone and berry desert was awesome.... Thanks.

Abbiamo mangiato bene, il rapporto qualità-prezzo é ottimo anche se quello che mi resterà sempre impresso di questo ristorante é che siamo andati per la prima volta a cena sabato sera ed essendo molto affollato abbiamo dovuto attendere per sederci. Io sono diabetica e avevo fatto l'insulina. Appena seduta ho chiesto se era possibile avere subito il piatto ordinato e 2 minuti dopo mi é stato portato. Il giorno successivo torniamo per pranzo e la signora si è preoccupata subito di chiedermi se avevo fatto l'insulina e se avevo urgenza di mangiare. Sono rimasta senza parole! Mi sono sentita come a casa! Grazie mille per la vostra disponibilità e gentilezza! Torneremo sicuramente

QUE CAMBIEN EL NOMBRE DEL POSTRE. Porque no es mouse de mango .... era crema de queso mascarpone con sirope de crema de mango
Y que no pongan mucha lechuga de bolsa ... . Estaba muy rico el pollo piri pi.
Y el retaurante es adaptado . Al menos la entrada.

Heerlijk kunnen eten hier! En absoluut niet duur. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding slaat nergens op. Ik zou nog het dubbele betalen ook! War een top plek!
Daarnaast is de bediening ook super vriendelijk en staat et altijd een glaasje port van het huis voor je klaar!

Voy con mis dos hijos a comer, día de Navidad, nos preguntan si hemos hecho reserva, tienen dos mesas vacías en un salón, nadie esperando, y otro salón entero vacío con las mesas puestas y no nos quieren atender sin reserva. Me dio la impresión de que no nos quiso atender por nuestro aspecto de turistas de segunda. Puse mala cara, parece que lo notó, y al salir me quieren dar un menú para el día siguiente. Solo le faltó decir que viniéramos peinaditos, Estuve a punto de decirle a la buena señora lo que podía hacer con el menú.

Fast food or diner of Albufeira disguised as upscale. If you are looking for table service cheap food where all menu items resemble one another then this is your place. It is hard to find a plate of food without the most basic salad and french fries. Not only that but all the plates that have sauce have the same basic, flavorless sauce. I would have been happier going to be local fast food fried chicken place.

Tolle Atmosphäre.. leider war das T-Bone Steak anfangs nicht auf den Punkt wie man es gewünscht hatte. Nachdem dieses zurück gegeben wurde, kam das gleiche Stück leider komplett tot gebraten wieder zurück zum Tisch. Die bestellte Lasagne war jedoch gut.

Absolutely fantastic, grilled sea bass, chicken piri piri and grilled chicken breast all fantastically presented and tasted subline. Michelle was very nice he is the son of the owner/chef. All staff were very polite and extremely helpful!!! Definitely recommend their 3 course meal for €10 worth every penny

The best restaurant I've been to in Albuferia and one of the cheapest. Beautiful setting and great service. Only wish I'd found it at the start of our holiday. Highly recommended but you might need to book as it gets busy.

Regular reliable
When in Albufeira we try to come here at least once. Very tasty food at excellent value, especially the combination/tourist menu deals. Nice setting, friendly and efficient staff you won't leave disappointed.

Brilliant, great family run restaurant, great value set menu and a good selection from normal menu, over a 2 month period must have gone at least six times. The proof of how good it was is how busy it is out of season.

Food was meh... Manager was a huge A-hole, attempted to start a fight with a minor, made up story that I said "The Portuguese are stupid" never happened would not recommend this place to anyone, food was overpriced and fish was way to salty and was not edible, and they would not take the fish off the bill because he made up said story. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO TOURISTS! Manager called me a a--hole and called me a "stupid American." It's very disappointing because I love the area and the people are lovely and are much better restaurants in the area with lower prices and better quality.

Coming from the greater New York area and being a seasoned world traveler, I have never been insulted by a restaurant manager.... ever. The food was generally just Ok... certainly not outstanding, as was by reported by Google. My husband ordered the bacalau, which we've had before, and is indeed a typically salty dish, but this was way over the top heavy handed. We told the waiter, but instead of making a customer happy and making good, the manager dug in his heels and insulted us. Whether he agreed with us or not, customer service was not his priority. Not only did we not stay for coffee, dessert and after dinner drinks, but I felt it my duty to write my first EVER negative review anywhere! There are SO many wonderful restaurants to choose from in this area of Albufeira, do NOT waste your time or money here. As it was we dropped over 90 Euro. The meal left a bad taste in all four of our mouths as we walked out due to this one guy's shortsightedness!

Uzonj was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Tasty, simple, fresh Portuguese food for GREAT value. 3-course meal for €10 with plenty of options! Definitely worth a visit (or two like we did!)

Three of us had lunch from the €10 tourist menu. 3 courses. Great choice with some delicious Portuguese dishes included. A great selection of Portuguese wines on menu, arranged by regions in Portugal. A lovely, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful staff. Abrigado!

3 course meal for €10 is a great deal. The desserts are great. I expected vanilla ice cream for that price but had a wonderful berry mousse. Superb service. Seems very popular as we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table each time we visited. #worththewait

We were looking for a good restaurant around Albufeira, as were quite dissapointed with high prices and somewhat medium quality for the ones we've tried. Uzonj was a pleasant exception, which made our stay and dinner really enjoyfull. Menu is rich, with a decent pricing (they have a 3 step course for €10). Dishes were from OK to perfect; while some were a little bit weird like branded Uzonj salads - others were simple, but had amazingly fresh and juicy ingredients. And you should definatelly try their deserts - Mango mousse was just amazing! Thank you, well done guys!
P.S. Big cheers to the staff, which were close enough for a Michelin star with their service.

Went away to Portugal with 9 friends for a hen do, and chose to eat here on our last night. The restaurant staff could not have been any more accommodating, they were simply amazing! We ordered jugs of Sangria and they kept coming round the table to fill them up! The food was delicious and all of the meals came out hot, and fresh. Highly recommend going here if you're staying in Albufiera!

Lovely clean restaurant, very friendly staff, well spoken in both English and Portuguese. Dropped my room key less than a meter away and a waitress came over to pick up and made a joke with us.
food portions were very good, we had soup and mushroom gratin to start, both reasonably sized.
followed by salmon and the bbq ribs. both very nice, large portions, bbq sauce was slightly too tangy.
puddings we had brownies with ice cream again very nice.
very well priced, portions were really good and staff very friendly. would recommend.

My wife and two children (4 & 6) had a lovely meal here wife had prawns myself the pepper steak. Was recommended a nice bottle of wine. Kids enjoyed their burgers. All staff spoke good English so all in all an excellent evening.

OMG,what a fab place!!!!food and especially service was superb!!! Loveeee the touristic menu,3 course for €10,one of the mains was sea bass,superb!!!!the pumpkin strudel for desert was beautiful!!!! Definitely worth a visit,would recommend a reservation in the peak months as say it would be so busy!!!my hubby got the t-bone steak tonight and thought it was amazing!!!!enjoy xx

This restaurant is with out a doubt one of the best restaurants in Albufeira. The food is of the highest quality with professional service to match.
The tourist menu at ten euros which is available both at lunch time and in the evening is unbelievable value. Exceptional choice of fare beautifully presented.

This place caught my attention after passing by several times and decided to give it a try.
The waitress ( maybe owner?) was very friendly and guided us to the table.
The prices here are pretty good especially if you want to choose the 3 course prix fix menu for 10€ ( it’s a steal )
We ordered a la carte few dishes and it was more average.
Nothing was really standing out neither the starter nor the dessert.
Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad it was just average.
Recommend it if you are nearby and don’t want to overspend.

When my wife and I visited this restaurant we were very impressed by the staff who were polite and competent .The food was freshly cooked and of a high standard.The tourist menu was really good value and the drinks were reasonably priced.We recommended the restaurant to another two couples and they told us they also had a lovely meal.I would recommend that it is well worth a visit.

Good value for money, but extremely hectic. Staff were very helpful and, but seemed to be running around in a bit of a frenzy and got a few of the orders wrong. To be fair, soon corrected them, but it was all a bit of a rush. Food very good value for money though

Great restaurant. Best value we had in Albufeira. €26.40 for two 3 course meals, 2 fanta, 1 beer and a double espresso. Food was big and tasted fantastic. Lasagne was delicious and the sea bass was even better. Friendliest staff I came across in Albufeira too. I would definitely recommend it and if I'm ever back in Albufeira I will return.

Have just finished THE MOST DELICIOUS meal. Sea Bass and pork for the adults, spagbol for the littlier one. Mmmmmmm... the choc brownies was only beaten in taste by the pumpkin strudel. House white is perfect with the fish. Definitely will be back!

Friendliest staff I have ever seen in a restaurant! They were incredible. The lady at the door sang us a song to get us in and then as she was heading home for the night, gave us a sweet, heartfelt speech about how she wanted to help us have a memorable trip. The server was funny and extremely likeable.We had an amazing time. The food was great, especially for the price. 15CAD (10€) for a three-course meal? I have never gotten that before. Will definitely go back before we leave!

Простые блюда, но как все приготовлено! Вкуснейшая, свежайшая еда. К нежным сардинкам с крупной морской солью подают запеченную картошечку с травами, и салат руккола с каким-то соусом. Была сыта, но съела все без остатка. А в меню написано - просто сардины. Блюдо показалось изысканным. С пивом и бокальчиком порто в конце - 9 евро! Официанты с достоинством и гордостью принимают похвалы. Обслуживают мгновенно. Много постоянных посетителей.

Don't remember when I had to wait for so long for meal. Their "tourist menu" offer was so unclear that probably even staff didn't knew how it work. Two starts because long waited did was good.
