Simplemente magnifico! Cogimos la degustacion tanto de vino como comida y estaba todo buenisimo, no sabria escoger que plato me gusto mas, impresionante el sitio, muy recomendado para experimentar diferentes sabores.
No le pongo cinco estrellas solo porque para lo que vale l degustación que ya se sabe que es cara, cogimos la d vinos y em alguna ocasion es el mismo para dos platos y no estaban muy pendientes de si te faltaba o no llenar la copa.. pr por lo demas un 10.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! The ambiance, the staff, the food was all amazing! I enjoyed things I normally don't like, like beets and celery. The wine was also paired expertly! You can feel and taste the thought and care they put into the food. And at a reasonable price for a large menu, we were very satisfied.

Que dire de ce resto si ce n'est qu'il est exceptionnel ? Les plats sont surprenants et excellents, l'association des vins venant compléter une alchimie réussie dans un cadre authentique. Les différents plats sont travaillés et jolis à regarder... Sans aucun doute un restaurant de grande gastronomie mais on ne ressort pas d'ici en ayant faim (ou soif...). Je ne suis pas un grand friand de dépense d'argent pour manger mais ici... je peux refaire l'exception les yeux fermés : on paie un service de grande qualité. Bravo!
PS : vive l'huile d'olive.

such a fabulous fine dinner restaurant with local ingredient, and nice staff and boss. Thanks them for giving me a fantastic night with my wife. It is a restaurant i love to back again certainly. If you are looking for a warming, relaxing and family restaurant, you will love it for sure! however, please make a reservation!
非常溫馨的一間家庭餐廳，選用非常美味新鮮且為當季的葡萄牙食材。老闆與員工都非常親切，讓我擁有一個非常棒的晚餐回憶，下次我還是會想來！記得訂位，座位不多。

Nous n'avions pas réservé et le maître d'hôtel à fait déplacer un monsieur (en fait il s'agissait du patron...) attablé en face de la cuisine ouverte afin de pouvoir nous accueillir.
Il s'agit dune adresse exceptionnelle pour une cuisine digne d'une table étoilée!
Le maître d'hôtel est une attraction à lui tout seul, cultivé et passionné par son pays et ses richesses, le tout dans un français impeccable!
Une expérience et un souvenir à tout jamais!
Si nos voisins américains lisent ce message, merci également à eux pour l'agréable soirée passée en leur compagnie.

We wanted to give this place a high score. Although we have given A 5 star. It’s done with a caveat the starter and mains where unequivocally brilliant and totally awesome the Pud and coffee where less so. The chocolate pud was dry and uninspiring and the expresso was a stale roast. So in short it’s kinda a like a very pretty but dum girl. Amazing to look at. But no real depth. Would I come again. Yes. Is it perfect. No. Worth a visit yes.

We have been here two years in a row and well worth the trip! Chef’s menu both years were unique and delicious. How this is not a Michelin star is beyond me. We will be back!

My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary here and it was such a wonderful experience. The team of waitresses and the head chef were exceptional, the food delicious and the extra touch of a nice dessert at the end was so very sweet. Yes it’s more money than others in town but if you’re here for a special occasion and want a nice evening, I couldn’t think of an evening better spent. Thank you.

Вспоминая Порту, вспоминаем Ode Porto!
Порту - один из самых прекрасных городов на Земле! Как здорово, что вечером, озябнув от прогулки, мы удачно попали в это невероятно уютное и по-домашнему тёплое место. Вся еда была очень вкусной, вино бесподобным (не зря же это wine house). До сих пор вспоминаем картофельное пюре с трюфельным маслом и шоколадную лаву (лучшую из всех, что мы когда-либо ели, а мой муж фанат и перепробовал их везде, где только можно!) это было потрясающе вкусно! В этот день в ресторане отмечали семейный праздник родители хозяина, и мы почувствовали себя частью семьи, дижестив-комплимент в виде портвейна 40-летней выдержки за здоровье родителей растрогал нас до слез!))) На прощание были обнимашки со всеми, клятвы в любви и приглашение в гости))) То место, в которое хочется вернуться!) Это больше, чем просто ужин!

Были в этом ресторане в октябре 2014. Столик на четверых заказали заранее( написали письмо на email). Очень уютный ресторанчик! Отличное обслуживание. Каждому гостю управляющий уделяет большое внимание: при встрече, несколько раз во время ужина, на выходе. Приятно! Чувствуешь себя особенным и желанным гостем. Еда- выше всяких похвал! Осьминог - вкуснейший!! Ягнёнок с карри - супер! Говядина отменная!! Спасибо большое! Вот куда точно хочется вернуться.

Absolutely brutal. Terrible service. Bland food and overpriced.
I'm astonished how anyone could give this place a good rating. Each course took 25 minutes, with the first course arriving after 70 minutes. A glass of Port which was supposedly complimentary, was added to our bill. The bread wasn't fresh, while the Octopus (tiny peice) was overcooked. The other courses were severely lacking in any depth or flavour. The broth was like luke warm water in vegetables.
I would avoid this place . There are far nicer and cheaper restaurants available near the river.

True Portuguese food experience like nowhere else. The finest place to spend time, and have unforgettable evening accompanied with food! Food was delicious, music in the room was absolutely finest, atmosphere was very nice, and staff was absolutely OUTSTANDING! We’ve been served first part of the evening by Marinda who was extremely nice, sweet, well spoken and helped us to choice right set, where for the secondary part of the evening we’ve been served by Mariana, and she was so much FUN! Very beautiful, very kind, and very nice to be around! Both of the girls made sure that we felt like in home, and their service was absolutely THE BEST. Food was great, but the quality of service made the entire experience unforgettable!
I recommend this place to everyone I will remember this evening for a very long time

I really enjoyed my evening here - the food is very good, the service is great, and it seems a lot of thought has gone into the choices of wine to go with the meal. For the price, this place is very good - it compares very well to places that cost 2 or 3 times as much in other cities.

Très bien dans l'ensemble, bon service et repas très correct (amusés bouche, plat et dessert) pour un prix abordable
Nous avons été cependant déçu concernant le vin. Nous avions pris une bouteille de vin blanc petillant, on nous a servi un premier verre puis le serveur est reparti avec la bouteille, nous avons dû demander le deuxième verre. Vient alors l'addition 40€ la bouteille sur laquelle nous avons pris 4 verres. S'ils font cela avec tous les clients c'est tout bénef.

Ввиду летней загруженности приличных гурманоподобных заведений в г.Порто, рискнули посетить эту ресторацию.
Если сильно и в подробностях не расписывать наш ужин, то резюмируя могу сказать однозначно НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ.
Возможно сыграло роль отсуцтвие столиков и нам пришлось ютиться прямо на против кухни, ощущая не "kitchen show" а атмосферу забегаловки... возможно шеф, сомелье и официант в одном лице... а может мы просто придирчивые и за 100€ на нос можно поужинать куда лучше.
Взяли дегустационное меню "Porto" + винное сопровождение. Все блюда были неплохо приготовлены, но сама винная подборка это полный и дешёвый отстой с сильным акцентом на касту "alvarinho".
Если будете рядом подымитесь на квартал выше и посетите что-то поинтереснее, благо предложений валом.
P.S. к нашему удивлению иностранцы, которые составляли 99% посетителей, уходили в восхищении. Как говориться на вкус и цвет...

It has taken me 8 months to get around to this review but a friend asking about my Porto experiences reminded me and I had to caveat this restaurant experience.
I had heard so many good things about this place from friends and online media but unfortunately left disappointed when I went.
It took over 30 minutes after we were seated before anyone paid any attention to us including bringing a menu. There was not much to review on the menu as it was a tasting experience but anyway it took another 15 minutes before someone came back to take the order. I did opt for the full wine pairing as well as I had gotten thirsty waiting for service. This pairing was disappointing in my opinion. Most bottles I found easily accessible online for under 15 euros a bottle and there wasnt a coherent story. The food was just ok as far as global fine dining is concerned although perhaps unique in Porto.
Overall an average experience but would upgrade to good 4 stars if you are a very patient person

Restaurant se disant gastronomique mais les plats n'étaient pas du tout à la hauteur. Manque de saveurs aussi bien au niveau des plats que des vins. Les serveurs étaient sympathiques mais maladroits et l'attente était très longue. Nous avons réservé une table pour une occasion spéciale et le résultat était décevant. Mauvais rapport qualité-prix.

Four stars for the creative, artistic and (most importantly) delicious dishes and delightful Portuguese wine pairings. It would be a very good choice for a special occasion but it’s way too expensive to be a regular visit.
Minus one star for being so expensive and not accepting credit cards; two people will need *at least* €200 in cash and most likely more if you really want to enjoy yourselves.
I’d go back but only if someone else makes the booking and invites me (and ideally picks up the check too ; )

Located off the main quay in the Ribeira district of Porto, ODE Porto Wine House provide an intimate setting for premium wine and modern Portuguese dishes.The food was excellently prepared, though the menu was rather limited. Portions were also noticeably smaller than a lot of similar restaurants, but this is to be expected given the premium ingredients and intensive presentations. The service was impeccable, and the presumed owner was very friendly, stopping by all tables at the end of everyone's meal. Note that this restaurant is cash only.

From the moment we walked into the door the service was impeccable. We ordered the wine pairing which was a great value. The appetizers of cheese and meats were stunningly good. This restaurant is amazing! The food is inspired by family and yet is so modern. It's absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairing and couldn't have been happier! Splendid fine dining experience. We chose the set price menu (appetisers, starter, main, dessert, water, coffee and the odd amuese bouche) with the classic wine matching (four generous glasses). Price for two €140. Romantic dining room on first floor, attentive service and splendid cooking (surely worthy of a Michelin star or two..). We were concerned that there might be too much food but portion sizes were small with intense flavours and this not excessive in total. An unforgettable experience. NB Google maps currently slightly inaccurate re location (~10m but entrance in a different street than shown).

ODE wine bar is an unforgettable food experience. The restaurant is stunning, and so is the service. This was by far the best meal we had in Porto, but probably one of the best we have ever had. The owner is incredibly accommodating and cares deeply about his restaurant and the quality of food and service.

Quero dirigir me ao senhor XOSE PERNAS, não concordo de todo com o que disse, pois eu estava presente no restaurante quando o sr, SEM RESERVA!, Pediu mesa para 3 e o empregado de mesa explicou todos os procedimentos. O sr fala em comida medíocre e nem sequer se chegou a sentar! Foi embora, quando lhe foi informado que não possuíam pagamento com cartão! Injúrias não! Quando realmente se sentar e provar a comida, aí, comente.

Exclusive atmosphere in which we felt treated like real guests. The smiles were genuine, the service was excellent and the food was superb. I've never tried oysters so gave it a go, they realized I didn't like it so the whole dish got replaced in an amazing fish soup. 9 out of 10 for this beautiful restaurant.

If you decide to go out there for dinner you need a lot of time! We had a reservation at 9:00pm and get first some cheese and bread at 9:15 and later a amuse-bouche at 9:50pm finaly we get our starter at 10:20pm and our main meal at 10:45pm....another half our later we had our dessert. Disappointing was that the couple who spoke portuguese and came at 10 were earlier finished with her meal than us.
The Food is absolutely fantastic dont get me wrong, but it tooks just too long for my opinion, way too long. The waiter was polite and good aswell, nothing to complaine.
This is the reason why i only can give 4 out of 5 stars

C'est un de ces restaurants dont le souvenir restera gravé à jamais. Entre le service impeccable, les différentes mises en bouche offertes, les explications détaillées et bien sûr les plats succulents, il est dur de donner une autre note.
Ils sont rares ces restos où tout, du début à la fin, est parfait, où le sourire des serveurs est égal à la qualité des plats. Les ingrédients sont choisis avec soin et leur qualité se ressent du début à la fin.
Le décor est simple et laisse la place à la nourriture, le service est chaleureux mais discret...
Certes, beaucoup vous diront que c'est un peu cher pour Porto, mais non, vous paierez ici le prix d'un resto commun pour un resto qui vaut clairement un étoilé, tant au niveau du service que des plats, n'hésitez pas une seconde et réservez ! Le resto n'est ouvert qu'en soirée, donc réservez à partir de 17h pour être sûr et laissez vous surprendre par cette cuisine portugaise locale et pleine de surprise, ici tout ce que la cuisine portugaise a à vous offrir est sublimé et transposé dans un univers qui ne pourra que vous étonner et vous séduire.

Slow service. The menu changes regularly, but what we had wasn't great. Octopus was very bland and tasted like imitation crab. Salad had the most God awful bee pollen that tasted like the nutsack of Neptune. I get that the place is small and exclusive but I did not see why this place is so highly rated. Literally any other meal we had in Portugal was better. Prices aren't that bad though. Maybe just a unique not so good experience but would recommend going elsewhere. No locals eat here. Tourist trap as advised my some tour guides.

Best experience in Porto! Been in a few restaurants for a long weekend and this one was far out the best! Very good food, nice host and well presented and cooked meals. Cebebrated the 50tht birthday and if I make it to a 100 will come back!! Thanks Ode for the great memories..
