처음에 원하는 가격대와 맛을 물어본 다음 그에 맞춰서 와인을 추천해주세요! 시음도 가능했답니다. 그렇게 비싼 와인을 사지 않았음에도 불구하고 잘 설명해주셔서 감사했어요.
그리고 위탁수하물에 넣어야해서 포장 걱정했는데 생각보다 꼼꼼하게 해주셔서 좋았어요.

This place is amazing. They have so many different options and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable; they also offer tastings to help you narrow down your preferences. The gentleman who helped was so patient as we sorted through all the things we wanted to ship home. I can't wait to receive our package and crack open some delicious port wines! Thank you!

See all the good reviews? They speak the truth! I love this place, I have been there today with my boyfriend to buy some port wine. Jorge ( I am probably misspelling the name) was very helpful and guided us through the choice with his experience and knowledge. He gave us the opportunity to try the different types of port and explained all the characteristics and peculiarities. Last but not least, he airplane wrapped all the bottles! If you happen to be in Porto and want to buy some port wine, you should definitely visit them!

As a person who is wine illiterate, the staff who helped me was extremely helpful and patient. He offered tasting options and made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Also carefully wrapped my wines for airplane transportation! Will definitely be back in the future :)

I was looking for some good, basic, not too expensive port wine. The owner immediately grabbed a couple of bottles and gave me very clear and honest advise. He then wrapped the bottles for air travel. Great service, honest prices

Garrafeira/licoreria exquisita, el chico que me atendió me ayudó a elegir qué vinos comprar en base a unos que previamente había catado, incluso me dio a probar para que pudiese comparar, me llevé varias botellas de vino blanco de oporto muy ricas por 5 euros con poco y otra de 10 euros con estuche para ocasiones especiales. Resumen atención genial, precios estupendos y la atención todavía mejor. Por cierto me dieron una tarjeta por si quería hacer pedidos desde España!! 10/10 repetiría.

This is by far the best service I've ever experienced in a wine store. The range of wines is impressive and the quality is breathtaking, however the real kicker is the people helping out. Their deep knowledge about their wine is impressive and they guide you towards the right choice in a very modest way.

What an amazing (port) wine store. It looks pretty small, but it's got a huuuge variety of all kinds of port wine and a lot of other wines also. And if you're not sure which one to buy, they'll have a clue! You may also taste some wines of the open tasting bottles. I absolutely love this store. Here's another big "pro"... They also ship their wines to your home address.

시음도 할 수 있었고 가격도 다른데보다 좀 더 싼 편이었어요. 주인 아저씨도 매우 친절하셨구요. 포장은 꼼꼼히 열심히 해주시긴했는데 조금 불안했어요. 에어캡포장지 미리 챙겨가세요~! 시음했던 포트와인은 전부 다 맛있었어요ㅠ 더 사오고 싶었는데 짐이 너무 무거워져서 못 사갖고 온게 너무 아쉬워요.

Adorable petite boutique on l'on trouvera son bonheur ! Les vendeurs sont disponibles, parlent notamment français et prennent un réel plaisir à vous conseiller . En plus on a eu l'occasion de faire une dégustation de différents porto et très belle découverte du porto blanc ! Et les prix sont à portée de tous .
Pour 45 euros par exemple nous avons eu un très bon porto rouge, un blanc, deux coffrets de mignonnettes, du café, des sardines et une mignonnette de Ginja. Et le prix ici est inférieur à ceux qu'on peut trouver lors des visites de caves.

Très très bonne adresse pour trouver de bons vins, de bons Portos ou même d'autres alcools. Grand choix et accueil très sympa. Les vendeurs parlent, entre autres, Anglais et Français. La rapport qualité-prix est bien meilleur que dans les boutiques des grandes maisons de Porto.

Came in with an idea to buy nice porto tawny wine, got out with 10 year old tawny from white grapes and ruby from 2011! :) Amazing staff who will take the time to share with you a bit of history of the wines and also help you decide which wine is the best for you. Marvelous place, which I will definitely recommend to my friends if they are coming to Porto. I will surely come back! :)

Un petite enseigne qui ne paye pas de mine mais qui vaut le détour. Nous y sommes allés après avoir lu plusieurs avis et notre désir c'était d'être bien conseillé sur l'achat d'un bon Porto. Nous avons pu dégusté et trouver ceux qui nous convenait le plus et le tout en français s'il vous plaît. Mention spéciale pour l'emballage pour résister au transport.

Muy buen lugar para comprar vino. La atención es exquisita dándote a probar caldos sin reparar en si son más o menos caros. En mi caso y después de catar cuatro, me decanté por comprar COCKBURN'S , ESPECIAL RESERVE y la elección no pudo ser de lo más acertada.
Si tuviera que recomendar un lugar para comprar vino, sin duda sería este.

The experience here was truly great.
We got here to buy a bottle of Port wine for home. We did not know almost anything about Port wine prior to our visit here and we asked for some help in finding the proper bottle.
The staff was really responsive. They let us taste 6 or 7 types of Port wine, for free, while they explained about each of them.
We ended up buying two bottles, one white and one red.
We will definitely come back to this shop.

Amazing experience.
The staff is passionate about their shop and wines. I went there during my stay in Porto. They took the time to explain the wines, what would suit my taste and helped me choose. They never pushed for more expensive bottle trying to make a sale. As it was quite a bit of bottles (15) I asked if they could ship it to the Netherlands, answer is yes and for a very affordable and fair price. Only 1 week after I receive all the bottles. They packaged with care and nothing was broken.
I highly recommend this shop and would most certainly order from them again !

Great place to go. Very helpful people who will take the time to find out what you like. You can taste some different port wines and even though the small shop is busy, they won't rush you. There is a big selection to choose from, and if you have no idea what you want they can help to guide you. All price ranges are catered for and there is no hard sell. If you like they will bubble wrap your bottles for protection while traveling by plane.

Para mi, la mejor Garrafeira de Oporto.
Me resulta imposible irme de la ciudad sin pasar por ella. Siempre me llevo una par de botellas de vino dejandome aconsejar por ellos. Grandisima variedad de producto, muy buen precio, y espectacular atencion y servicio. Uno de esos sitios en los que dejarse aconsejar y dejarse llevar por los sentidos, vale la pena.

Le personnel est sympathique, accueillant, parle français et sont de bon conseil pour vous aiguiller dans vos choix, tout en respectant votre demande pour ne pas vous pousser a la " surconsommation".

The visit in this place is not a simple shopping, it's an experience! The staff is very helpful and can be proud of their knowledge about all of their selling items. You can find products of bigger better known brands but also products from smaller and local producers. There's a good choice of Port wine. I'm very happy I decided to visit this shop for some Port wine suvenirs ;) Also I was very pleasently suprised when I heard "thank you" after the shopping in my native language (Polish)

Perfect for tourists in Porto with prices for Portuguese wallets. Reasonable variety of Douro region wines and Port wines. Very nice people with knowledge about wines from these regions. If you want they can send the bottles directly to your door, even if you are a foreigner.

Arrived at the store today to buy port wine, seeing the good reviews online. The owner of the store spoke good English and asked me what I'm looking for and what is my choice based on. Then, seeing I have little information to choose well, he let me taste several different tawny ports (it was agreed I was looking for a tawny) from different producers and different ages, so I could know the differences and decide what best fits my taste. I ended up choosing a Pacheca 20 years old, that was sold for a very goos price. I must point out that the owner, whose name I don't know, was very kind and enthusiastic to share wine tasting experience and thoughts, making the shopping experience so much more than what you normally meet.
All in all unique experience, attractive prices, great selection of ports and still wines and terrific staff. Highly recommended.

좋은와인 두 병을 구매했습니다. (한국에서 30만원 정도이지만 여긴 50유로 정도에 팔고 있습니다.)
와인 가격은 시중가(핑구도스나 다른 와인샾) 보다 1~3유로 정도 저렴합니다.
포트와인이 주력상품이고 시음도 할 수 있습니다.
다만 안타까운것은 일반와인은 제대로 보존하고 있는것 같지 않습니다. 보통 와인은 눕혀서 보관하거나 교체하며 세워 놓는데 하도 오래 세워놓아서 인지 병에 먼지가 수북했습니다.
다행히 오랜 빈티지가 아니라 품질에는 이상이 없었습니다.
포트와인 시음이나 구매할 때는 좋겠네요.

Great selection, they let you taste to help you decide (if they have an open bottle), they will package your purchases very well for travel and the prices are good (better than at some of the port houses). They also have a small selection of Ginja. Highly recommended for all your port purchase needs!

Best port and wine shop in Porto. The selection, the service and the price cannot be beat. I found Garraferira do Carmo on my last visit to Porto two years ago and just went there again to say hello to my old friend George and buy some port and wine for our extended stay here in Porto. We will visit him again to choose some bottles to ship to US before we head back.
If you're not sure about names, variety and brands don't worry. Just tell them your taste preference and they steer you in the right direction.
Yes, they do have expensive and very expensive bottles like old vintage ports, but unless you ask for it, they never push you toward the expensive stuff. On the contrary, they recommend the smaller producers that make better port than the big names at much cheaper price. So, don't be hung up on the famous brands.

Variedad, mucho más barato que en las bodegas. Los chicos que trabajan en la misma te explican las distintas variedades de oporto, te asesoran sin prisas y sobretodo sin obligaciones de compra. Tienen oportos y licores de bodegas artesanas y nada comerciales. Muy recomendable la visita. Cierran desde las 13H hasta las 14 H.

Fabulous...had only slight idea of what we were looking for. He spoke excellent English. Asked questions, made suggestions. Easily spent 30 minutes in his store. We enjoyed a mini taste test, which was extremely helpful in making our choice. A great little store, stocked full of varieties. Well priced also. Worth the walk to get there. Very friendly staff. He even wrapped our bottles for travel, advising of duties & taxes if we shipped home. Go there!

Après une visite guidée en famille dans une cave de Porto où nous avons été déçus par les qualités proposées par rapport aux prix, nous avions décidé de tester une autre cave "visite organisée" avec la volonté de revenir de vacances les bras chargés de vins de Porto comme présents pour nos proches et amis.
Et nous avons découvert cette cave par hasard, devant un arrêt de bus touristique.
Déjà, les prix affichés en devanture étaient inférieurs pour les mêmes bouteilles proposées directement par le producteur vu la veille.
Et dans le magasin... quel accueil (comme souvent au Portugal !) et quelles compétences !
Avec nos filles aînées, nous n'avons pu qu'apprécier les vins que le responsable nous a fait goûter, quitte à chercher de son propre chef des bouteilles qui n'y étaient apparemment pas destinées, mais correspondant à nos desideratas. Rien à voir avec notre dernière expérience.
Nous sommes reparti avec une caisse chacun et chacune, plus que prevu, mais vu la qualité proposée, aucun regret sauf peut être celui de ne pas avoir eu assez de bras ce jour-là pour en prendre encore plus. Mais comme on peut commander sur Internet, nous ferons des réserves plus tard.
"Cerise sur le gâteau" , le patron reconnaîtra l'expression, nous avons aussi eu droit à des remises malgré les prix bas et un cadeau au moment de partir.
Bref, je ne pouvais noter qu'excellent pour cette cave : accueil, professionnalisme, prix, qualité, tout est parfait. Allez, un petit bémol : la boutique est petite, et on se sent un peu serré quand il y a du monde.
Je vous souhaite à vous aussi d'excellentes dégustations avec modération.

The best wine shop in Porto. Altough we arrived after the program, we were well recived and spend there at least 30 minutes (we were undecided). The guy there recomended to us better wines than we saw and tasted in the cellars and he explained to us why a worst wine is more expensive in the celars than in the shop. We really liked him and we are thankfull to him and his advices.

Excellent costumer service ! In English or in French if necessary (and well spoken too). The staff is aware of the restrictions in common countries (for instance, in Canada/Quebec). Possibility to taste some products.
The prices are lower than anywhere else (lower than supermarkets and other alcohol stores). Nor do the staff try to sell you more expansive products than necessary : they are very blunt and honest about quality vs notoriety vs price.
If you are going home by plane, your chosen products will be wrapped up to protect them. Wonderful experience !

Friendly expert advice (in good English if required) on their vast range of Port, Madeira, brandy etc. If your bottles are going home in your luggage, tell them, and they'll make an airline-proof lightweight package in moments.
