The best tour Ive had in Porto. Each has its own goods and lacks for the tour, but of all, tour in here had been the best for me—thanks to Maria, the best guide ever! :) Their white wine has been very special & recommend very highly of the place!!!!!!!

We walked into a tour & wine tasting by this small family-run company quite by chance, and were completely blown away by the quality of the port wines they make! Being small apparently gives them the advantage of being able to focus on quality vs. quantity. Swing by and find out for yourself how they beat the big-name competition. We took a suitcase-full of their ports back home.

Un sitio chulísimo. Fuimos un grupo de 4 amigos y salimos contentos. La entrada son 7 euros, incluye visita guiada con la explicación de como se hace el vino de Oporto y la cata de 2 vinos. Nos atendió María una chica majísima. Los vinos ricos ricos

Très belle visite explicative avec beaucoup de découvertes sur le Porto, qu'on ne connaît que mal au final lorsqu'on se contente du Porto de supermarché en France. Miguel très bon guide Francophone. 5€ la visite qui comprend une généreuse dégustation, ne pas venir à jeun ou alors avant le repas !

Wir hatten heute eine wunderbare Führung und hatten ein tolles Geschmackserlebniss.
Das Weingut ist klein und sehr exclusiv, aber ein Familienbetrieb seit der Gründung. Hier wird man nicht einfach nur abgefertigt. Der Guide ist mit Herzblut dabei.
Die Tour für 5€ mit 2 Verkostungsproben inklusive ist ihr Geld durchaus wert. Selbstverständlich steht auch der Verkauf im Vordergrund, aber man fühlt sich nicht genötigt! Da nutzt man gern die Gelegenheit auch Mal höherpreisige Portweine zu verkosten. Wenn man sich zum Kauf entscheidet kostet die extra Verkostung nichts. Wir haben verkostet und auch gekauft. Wir hatten einen tollen Nachmittag, vielen Dank!!

Bodega pequeñita, familiar, en la que puedes realizar una visita guiada y hacer una cata por 7€. Tienen visitas en varios idiomas, aunque cuando fuimos en castellano no tenían, la hicimos en portugués y el chico muy majo nos iba traduciendo alguna cosa que no quedaba clara.

A wonderful experience with Joanna, a young woman with a lot of passion for her job e for the wine, a well-done tour with a lot of information and a tasting of two kind of Porto, very good also the idea to not make you pay the tour if you ship the wine: so we could buy some wine and we decide to taste other two wine in free way buying the bottle. Thank you for the quality of the seevice and the wonderful wines. We'll wait at home the wines with happiness

굳이 큰 와이너리를 갈 필요없이 이곳에 가기를 추천해요. 20분의 짧은 설명이지만 알차고 잘 알려줘요. 어차피 칼렘이나 다른곳도 설명시간른 짧아요. 이곳에서 소수로 받는게 더 만족스러웠습니다.
2잔 시음에 7유로, 물건 구매시 돌려줌. 구매할 와인은 추가 시음 가능.

It was wonderful there. The guidance through the wine cellar was very informative and interesting. The wine tasting was very delicous! I can totally recommend this place for a typical wine testing! it made so much fun and was absolutly amazing!!

Muito bons vinhos, bom ambiente e serviço ainda melhor. Percebe-se a preocupação do staff em fazer com que os clientes sintam-se satisfeitos, dispensando uma atenção especial a estes. É definitivamente uma casa que zela pela qualidade, e nem tanto pela quantidade. Recomendo.

Okay visit... It's cheaper than the bigger houses but for 7 euros you only get to taste 3 low quality wines plus on a rush tour of their very small cave. The very same port the guide said that the Portuguese people only use for cooking and pouring on melon... The other samples range from 5 to 15 euros. We wanted to buy some bottles at first but the frustration took over...

Wir hatten heute eine interessante und persönliche Führung auf Deutsch mit Alex! Sie hat uns sehr charmant über den Port aufgeklärt und viele Tipps verraten. Man merkt ihr einfach an, dass sie mit Leidenschaft dabei ist! Auch bei der Degustation kamen wir auf unsere Kosten. Vielen herzlichen Dank für dieses Erlebnis! Wir freuen uns bereits jetzt darauf, unseren gekauften Port zuhause zu geniessen. :-)

El vino es un porto bastante especial se debe probar. La visita decepciona un poco no vale tanto la pena la cava es pequeña y sin michas infos. La cata es lo que decepciona podemos decir "turist tramp". La parte incluida en la visita ok (Un vino de mesa ok, un oporto blanco y un tawny) eso si la cantidad de una cata o sea una dose pequeña para probar. Ahora cuando pides probar otros sabores el mas barato 5€ hasta 15€ te espera algo más que 20ml por copa. Hay una promo cata de 2 vinos del mismo precio por 1, pero al momento del pago no se cumpre y te cobran los 2. Apesar de buena calidad veo super abusivo cobrar 10€ por 20ml de vino... No recomiendo. La botella del tawny con el descuento de entrada vale la pena.

Small wine cellar in comparison to more known wine cellars in Porto like Sandman etc. But that means small place are really original and awesome. The tour was very personalised and the guide was great !! I learnt from the guide girl very useful information about wines that I didn't know earlier. Taste wine was also good experience, You have to visit this place and convince on your own

Une vraie bonne découverte que cette cave ! Nous avons reçu un bon accueil, en Français . Après il faut dire qu'ils maîtrisent plusieurs langues. La visite nous explique au détail près, l'histoire et le processus de fabrication du porto familial. Très sympathique, Maria répond aux questions et nous fait partager ses connaissances. J'avoue avoir beaucoup appris et avoir même été surpris. Bien entendu, la dégustation fût mémorable tant les saveurs dégagées étaient une découverte et un réel plaisir. Nous avons été charmé par la différence que cette maison propose, fabrication artisanale de 4 générations, la tradition respecté, la rareté, le fait que ces vins soient en fut de chêne et non en cuve inox, etc etc... Vraiment, je recommande vivement d'aller y faire un tour. En souvenir et pour le plaisir, un bon porto en bouteille vous ramènerez chez vous.

Bodega pequeña pero acogedora. Personal muy amable y simpático. Visitas cada poco tiempo en español. No tiene hora específica. Según se van formando los grupos van entrando. Los niños si no beben vino no pagan entrada, independientemente de la edad que tengan.
La visita dura una media hora. Te explican el origen del vino, los tipos de uva, el proceso de elaboración y envejecimiento, recomendaciones de como tomarlo y con qué, etc. El guía es portugués pero su español se entiende sin problemas. Degustación final de 3 vinos (tawny, 8 años y blanco). Si compras botella te descuentan el precio de la entrada.

La visita fue un tanto rápida, y si bien el guía era simpático y procuraba expresarse lo mejor posible, había otros grupos por delante y en ocasiones resultaba difícil oír lo que decía porque se solapaban las voces. La cata consiste en probar tres vinos: uno de mesa, un oporto blanco y otro tinto. Quizás deberían insistir menos en vender botellas, un comentario recurrente por parte del guía, aunque no llegue a incomodar.

I was otw to one of the wine tasting shop (5€ for 5 glasses) and spotted this tiny little cave. Decided to give it a go for 7€ thinking its just 2€ extra. The decision was still a gd one as this was my first and only Port wine tour. Unfortunately it was conducted by an italian (Illara) who, although was really nice and helpful, spoke with an ascent thats not entirely easy to understand. More crucially, the way she spoke lacks passion nd feels more like shes trying to rush thru all her words to complete the tour sooner.
Eventually i did Bought 2 bots of port wine (16€ and 25€) and thought there were great. The 7€ was refunded eventually for the purchase of the Port as well.

Viste pas chère (7€, déductibles en cas d achat à la fin de la dégustation) comparé à d autres maisons comme Cockburns (20€). Par contre on en a pour son argent... Visite courte, on ne visite qu une imitation de cave, et la dégustation est peu intéressante...
Une forme de visite/dégustation premier prix comme beaucoup de caves sur le port. Suffisant pour découvrir le Porto, mais on est loin de l émerveillement des grandes maisons.

Super visite avec un guide passionné
Nous avons fait la visite en famille.
Nous avons été accueilli tres agréablement par le proprio. Les visites sont plus fréquentes, mais en petits groupes.
Notre guide Victor parlait 5 langues. Il est une vraie encyclopedie sur 2 pieds. Les garcons ont pose beaucoup de questions et Victor a répondu dans un language simple comme un excellent pedagogue qui est passionne par le vin.
Le prix de la visite est de 7 euro et est rembourse avec un achat. Ils contrôlent toutes les étapes de la production et produisent un excellent porto dont un excellent 20 ans qui est aussi vendu en demi-bouteille puisqu’il est le favori du proprio...
A ne pas manquer...

We decided with my friends to do a tour of this cellar and we had it!
The tour guide simply excelled them all in detail without getting tired.
The wine test left us completely satisfied.
Entry costs 7 euros, but if you buy a bottle they remove it from the bill.
So, in the area you are tastying at the end they give you a wine list to buy.
Of course we bought, but because you can not drink it there, we took it to drink it out.
I prefer you to do the same.
Also, we bought a bottle of wine of ruby variety, the staff very friedly, to immediately serve us..we had to open it.
As soon as we went out and we found a canteen to buy water to present 4 glasses ..... so we sit beside the river and enjoyed our wine watching the sunset and the city opposite..

Une des trois dernières cave portugaise située dans une petite rue en arrière des grandes enseignes internationales. Visite très intéressante d'une trentaine de minutes qui se termine par une dégustation. Personnels très agréables. Nous avons pas pu résister de repartir avec des bouteilles.

Even if it is not on the main street, the place worth it. Rather small winecellar but a famillial one. The guide explains you all you need to know about Porto wine (and speaks french fluently).
The visits ends with a tasting, witch comes with explanations.
After that, you can choose to buy some bottles directly or to be deliver at home.
Keep going like that, it's great !

日本語の上手なスタッフさんが居て、製法や特徴、用途など詳しく説明して貰いながら試飲することが出来ました。じっくり飲み比べて購入でき、良い買い物ができてとても満足です。試飲したワインを購入すると、そのワインの試飲料金は無料にしてくれます。
LBVが25€、30年物が80€とそこまで高くないので安心。小さい農場で生産量も少なく、輸出はしていないそうなので、現地に行って購入しないと飲めないという点も気に入りました。

Superbe visite passé avec Alexandra dans cette cave familial. Il faut s'aventurer dans la rue secondaire longeant le Douro pour découvrir ce lieu authentique. Cette cave loin des exportateurs internationaux de Porto saura ravir toutes vos attentes et ce pour un prix très raisonnable. C'est une visite concise mais extrêmement bien expliqué, allant de la découverte des cépages, aux méthodes de conception jusqu'à la dégustation. Une dégustation complète avec des conseilles de conservation des bouteilles, d'accompagnement, sans compter l'avis de consommateur. Encore merci pour cette découverte !

Un moment exceptionnel passé avec Alexandra, qui nous a fait partager ses connaissances sur le Porto (élaboration, conditionnement, idées d'associations culinaires ) ainsi que la façon de le déguster et l'apprécier.
Amis touristes, si vous cherchez une explosion de saveurs, n' hésitez pas à vous arrêter. 10€ la dégustation mais remboursée de moitié en achetant.

This is such a nice find! We booked a tour here and I'm so glad we didn't go to one of the big wine houses! This is a family business, the host is so nice and the presentation was interesting, we learned a lot of new things about wine in general and Porto specifically.
Its also a good chance to taste a wine that is not exported to other countries so it's pretty much the on the only place you can find it. Needless to say, it's a great wine :)

Horrible service and a scam. Came to buy just a bottle and asked if could try. They said of course didn't mention you had to pay to taste unlike the other houses. They explained if you got A bottle the tasting was free so we agreed. Once we decided to buy a bottle and went to pay and they said you had to buy two bottles which they failed to mention during the description of everything. Then complained to the man who got us in the shop and he through his hands up saying he didn't know after he just said yes the tasting is free If you buy a bottle. Avoid this pack of thieves!

Fantastic, friendly and welcoming family run winery/port house. Great tour and tasting for only 10 euro including 3 wine and port tasting (and 5 euro rebate on purchase). Only place with 20 aged white tawny port that was exquisite and delicious.

Très belle découverte par hasard. Maria nous a reçu avec enthousiasme et à su nous faire aimer sont métier. Je recommande cette petite cave indépendante qui vaut de l'or part rapport au grande caves industrielle. Si vous voulez un très bon Porto vous pouvez y allez les yeux fermés

Très bonne surprise. Cave familiale trouvée par hasard sur internet. Une visite d’une heure et deux dégustations de Porto (Blanc et rouge) pour seulement 5€ par personne. Notre guide était portugaise et parlee couramment français. Elle était dynamique et nous a appris beaucoup de chose sur le Porto. Je recommande cette cave pour une visite.
Petit plus : leur Porto est bon.

Was excited about visiting Quinta dos Corvos because of the reviews and because it is a smaller shop. Perhaps we arrived too early on a weekday morning. The employees were nice enough, but seemed very preoccupied with moving in cases and stocking racks, and not very interested in us. The wine and port were also not very good or memorable at all, there were no set tastings, and it just felt downright awkward. We had a much better experience at Cockburn's, which I highly recommend.

It was lovely! Our guide (his name was Rodrigo) spoke fluently beautiful english, his knowledge was impressing and he was really nice:) cellar was small but lovely. the wine was amazing, in price we tried 7years old white porto and 8years old red. Both were great, we even bought a bottle of the white one:) i definitely reccomend!!

Para empezar, no es una bodega. Es una nave muy bien decorada con barricas vacias y te explican tipo de uvas, tipo de vinos que venden y poco más. Solo se hace la visita en portugués y la degustación es de dos copas(blanco/tinto) y los precios a los que te pretenden vender un vino de esa calidad son casi una falta de respeto. Está montado para turistas ingenuos que no saben ni lo que es el vino.
Y discúlpeme por no facilitarle mi teléfono si viene a España, porque el tipo de negocio que usted tiene montado aquí, en España se llama timo y yo me precio de ser una persona honrada. Pero si es importante para usted yo le hago el favor y le enseño unas bodegas pero de las de verdad, y sin cobrarle, por supuesto.
P.D.: Solo añadir que el guía debería de cuidar un poco más su higiene bucal. Por momentos no sabía si estaba en una cata de vinos generosos o en una de habanos. No deja de tener gracia que un fumador te hable de los aromas que tiene un vino.

la visita fue en inglés,porque hace tiempo que grupos,de,españoles se,quejaron del castellano del guia(que personalmente he comprobado que el chico habla castellano mejor que muchos españoles,en fin...),tenemos lo que nos merecemos,una pena porque el chico se lo curra en la visita que ríete,un encanto,compré vinos(te descuentan la entrada del que te llevas),pues toda su cosecha solo la encuentras a través de su bodega,no le pongo 5 estrellas por no ser en español

Petite cave typique de Porto, visite très sympa, beaucoup de choses à découvrir, prix plus qu'abordable et dégustations sont au rendez-vous. Notre guide Steve a su parfaitement retranscrire l'histoire de la famille dans un français très correct. Excellente dégustation pour les amateurs comme pour les novices.

Vista per puro caso. In realtà è una vera Azienda a gestione familiare autentica di Porto. La visita è stata piacevole ,Maria è stata gentilissima. Gli assaggi sono due, notevole il vino. Lo si può acquistare solo lì o altrimenti spediscono in Italia.

Nach einer kurzfristigen und unkomplizierten Anmeldung am Vortag direkt vor Ort, wurden wir am Tag der Führung sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Führung fand trotz der kleinen Gruppe von nur zwei Personen statt :-) Wir erhielten einen tollen Einblick in das Thema Portwein und die Kellerei! Die Verkostung war sehr gut aufgebaut und hat überzeugt. Obwohl die Quinta dos Corvos zu den kleinen Kellereien zählt, hat Sie uns vollständig überzeugt. ( natürlich auch der hervorragende Portwein! ) Wir kommen, und kaufen, gern wieder :-)

Una bodega pequeñita con encanto. María nos explicó muy buen todo el procedo de fabricación del vino de Oporto. La visita cuesta 7€ que luego te lo descuentan si compras vino y te dan a degustar un vino blanco y otro tinto de Oporto, asi como, lo que llaman vino de mesa, nuestro vino.

Quand on arrive sur l'autre rive du Douro, je dois dire que c'est extrêmement difficile de choisir l'endroit où l'on voudrait déguster du bon vin de Porto : Oubliez direct toutes ces grandes enseignes à connotation Anglaise et venez découvrir sans hésitation ce tout petit domaine (quinta) qui se transmet depuis 4 générations, qui tient absolument à respecter la tradition, qui produit 45000 bouteilles par an et ne vend son vin qu'à cet endroit précisément !!
La visite était passionnante - visite privée car nous étions 2 seulement - et Maria a su partager avec nous sa passion pour ce nectar insoupçonné.
Nous avons terminé par la dégustation de vins incroyables, jusqu'à 29 ans de vieillissement en barrique, nos papilles s'en souviennent encore et que de surprises : Expédition du vin directement â son domicile, visite et dégustation gratuite en cas d'achat, et un accueil chaleureux en bonus.
Je recommande vivement cette découverte, des que je reviens à Porto, je reviens ici pour y déguster cette fois le 40 ans d'âge !

During my 5 month stay in Porto, I visited 3 wine cellars and this one was ABSOLUTELY the best.
Price - absolutely the cheapest, 5 Euro? And if you buy something in the cellar, the guided visit + tasting is for free (you get a discount equal to price of the tour)!
Quality and variety of the wine served (I mean the one included in price) - all of them as far as I remember 10 YO, whereas other wine cellars serve young wine. That includes Port wine: both white and tawny (no ruby because ruby is only young) + normal Douro wine (other cellars don't serve it at all).
Quality of service and guided tour was the best. We had a private guide for 3 people, whereas in other wine cellars there is usually 1 guide per random group of 10-20 people (sometimes mixed language).
The only disadvantage is that this brand is not so popular - so if you want to visit a wine cellar of a brand that you can easily find in a supermarket, you might want to try another one. But hey, they offer shipping to many countries in Europe.

A very small port cellar set back from the main avenue in vila nova de gaia. In fact, if you stick with the larger brands, taylors, grahams, sandemans etc. you may easily miss this place. They don't really advertise either, other than their strength on tripadvisor, instead, letting the quality of their port wines speak for themselves. The tour itself is quite personal, although a little rushed and automated in my opinion. However, the tasting experience and quality is up there with the very best. They produce very small quantities, using some traditional techniques which the larger brands just cannot match anymore. Their entire port wine range is exceptional, and there is something here for everyone. Aged tawnies, vintages and an extremely special 20yr white tawny. My advice is check out the other cellars, and save this place for last, you will not be disappointed.

Excelente atención. No hacían el recorrido en Italiano, pero igual se esmeraron por hacerlo y fue una explicación sencilla pero buena. No es una Marca reconocida, pero en la sencillez está el sentido de las cosas. Eñ equipo de la Juventus estuvo de visita en el 2014, así que tiene MUCHO nivel. Excelente! Y sólo por 5€. Excelente

Mooi porthuis. Kleinschalig maar van goede kwaliteit. De tour is wat kort, maar de uitleg en variatie van het proeven is perfect. Geeft een mooi beeld van de variatie van het huis en nodigt uit tot het kopen van een mooie fles port. Aanbeveling tov de “grote” porthuizen direct aan het water. Prijs is prima.

Rapporto qualità prezzo molto elevato, i migliori vini porto bevuti durante il nostro personale tour Delle cantine, specialissimi i vini invecchiati 20 anni. Gentilissima e molto preparata la ragazza al servizio; la vendita dei prodotti avviene solo in loco o tramite e-commerce dal proprio sito, sinonimo di qualità e di prodotto non commerciale. Consigliatissimo.

Kleine aber feine Kellerei. Sehr nettes Personal. Verständliches Englisch. Ohne Voranmeldung und trotzdem keine Wartezeit. Gruppe von 4 Personen. Fragen erlaubt.
Nichts für die Masse aber top Qualität der Weine. (keine Supermarkt Ware) Auch versand wird angeboten. Führung mit Verkostung incl. Keine Verkaufsveranstaltung wer will kann wer nicht will zahlt seine 5,-Euro und fertig. Schönes Ambiente. Wer den Busreisenden entfliehen möchte ist hier richtig.

The port is okay, but it's just not good. A 30 year tawny shouldn't taste of that much alcohol, it was far too sharp, and the 40 isn't any better, it's not even close to worth the price. We've visited a number of port houses, and this is our second trip to Porto, but we just don't like their products. The staff were fantastic, and it's a very pretty building, but the port just isn't good.

Very interesting Tour, We visited this place in Group of three People and it was fantastic. Wines are a bit expensive, but if you want to buy a bottle you have a free Tour with tasting.

Das poucas quintas que nos atendeu depois das17:30h sem ter feito reserva. Uma quinta pequena mas familiar, que prima pelo atendimento personalizado e pela simpatia dos colaboradores, em especial da Isabel que nos proporcionou uma excelente visita guiada. Recomendo a quem está à procura de uma visita às caves do Porto que não seja de produção industrial mas sim de uma produção familiar de excelente qualidade.

De lo mejor que se puede visitar. Pequeña y muy acogedora con excelente personal. Mejor visita que las grandes casas, grupos reducidos y con un trato muy directo. Se cata una buena variedad de vinos y por un buen precio. ¡Muy recomendable!

This is the best winery in Porto. Manuel is the best and the port wine is the best. I want to stay all day here - there is nothing better than Quinta does Corvos.

Bodega familiar que con apenas 25 Hs de viñedos propios hacen unos vinos de una calidad excepcional. Las visitas guiadas, son tanto en portugués como en castellano. Visita recomendada.
