I absolutely recommend taking a visit here! The casual but well designed style made this experience unforgettable. I stepped in knowing very little and walked away with generous information. The staff is passionate about their products, as well as sharing their process and history. If you’re looking for an intimate and interesting experience for a reasonable price, this is your place.

An absolute gem hidden among the port houses, a stop at Vasques de Carvalho is a must for lovers of design and authentic, small producer wines!!! We spent an afternoon here savouring the full range with food pairings, and it was easily the highlight of our trip to Porto, in no small part thanks to Patricia who is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also very welcoming. These were the best wines we'd tasted during a 3 day visit, and the beautifully decorated tasting room is an equal feast for the senses. Highly recommended for serious port fans in search of an intimate experience with a passionate producer, and a refreshing departure from the hectic cattle tours along the river.

Had a great tasting. Tried four different ports for 15€ and they were all great. I was the only one there at the moment so had enough time to savor the experience. Just a heads up to anyone visiting. They don't have the cellars here so they only offer wine tastings.

This place is amazing! They have a nice little terrace at the back where you can taste some really good port wine! Service is amazing and there is not a lot of tourists!! I highly recommend and will surely come back when I visit Porto again!

We came here to try one of the smaller producers (they tend to be our favorites) and had easily our best tasting experience while in Porto. We sat in the beautiful garden at the back and Bruno provided great knowledge and passion. He even offered us a couple which weren't part of the flight that we ordered. Overall the ports are easily as good or better than the big houses and combined with the fantastic setting and great guide it made for a wonderful afternoon. Hands down our best tasting experience bar none. Would definitely recommend!
