It was a wonderful place! Great service, friendly accomodating, hospitable, great location, felt as if we were staying in an old Portuguese home. Only sugestion would be elevators. Other than that, LOVED IT

Found this family owned boutique hotel in Sintra online was overwhelmed by the property. The Geñeral Manager Rio was absolutely fantastic and answered all our questions and looked after all our needs. His staff were also very customer focused. The rooms are Fantastic, breakfast was very good and the outdoor patio facing the street was very comfortable. Would stay here again and again, with no hesitation. Well done!

Rude front desk and very judgmental and racist! No wonder when we stayed here it was almost empty.
Stay away from this hotel! You can find other better hotels with this price where you will be treated with respect as a human being

Chambre élégante, décoré avec goût. Très propre, lit super confortable, le personnel parle très bien le français et se dévoue pour que rien vous manque. Je recommande ce lieu.

Ambiente pulito, e personale gentile. Purtroppo non c'è l'ascensore, potrebbe essere scomodo poichè le scale sono tante e abbastanza ripide. Non c'è un paecheggio privato. Posizione comoda, a due passi dalla stazione.

Discreto para ser hotel de villa. Acogedor y céntrico, con buen desayuno. Lo peor, el ruido de los huéspedes hablando a las 2 de la mañana, no tener lugares reservados para aparcar y las interminables escaleras para subir la maletas.

La gente muy amable, Una zona muy tranquila y muy céntrico.
Las habitaciones son pequeñitas pero muy acogedoras y lo más importante están muy limpias.
Para ser un hotel pequeño el desayuno está muy bien.
Sin duda repetiremos

We loved staying at this place. The owner and staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. We couldn't have felt more at home! Our room was bright, clean and offered a spectacular view of the Castelo dos Mouros. Also the location is great, just a 5 minutes walk from the railway/bus station that takes you to all the castles and other sights in the Sintra mountains.

This is a great little hotel in a handy location in Sintra just a couple of mins from the train station. Main tourist destinations are only a short stroll away as well as handy bus links.
Really well kept and can really feel the love and attention put into the place. Has an amazing terrace area with views of the castle up on the hill. A great spot to end the day with a drink or two. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable enough beds and pillows. Breakfast is also quite good with a wide selection so everyone should be covered. Last but not least the service of the place is fantastic. Rui does an incredible job to go out of his way to help and to make you feel welcome. Thanks Rui

Un trato muy amable y cercano. El personal te ayuda en todo lo posible. El desayuno buenísimo y muy variado. Lo único peor es el baño que es más antiguo, por lo demás genial. Muy recomendable.

Suite à des problèmes de ferry entre Fogo et Brava, la compagnie Interhillas nous a fait séjourner au sein de cet hôtel. Nous étions dans l'immeuble plus enfoncé dans la ville (l'autre se trouvant à l'entrée). Le personnel était très aimable et disponible. Bonne literie, salle de bain personnelle, bonne connexion wifi. Repas pris à la pension très copieux et correct. 2 bémols : le jeudi soir un bar assez bruyant se trouve dans la rue, prévoir les boules quies. Quelques fauteuils ou siège sur la terrace afin de profiter de la vue.

Very friendly staff. Loved the vibe and "homey" nature. Great view of the hill and the Moorish castle which is lit up at night. Beautiful spot on the patio to enjoy with a beer after a day of touring. Solid breakfast and rooms too!

Nous avons passé deux nuits à l'hotel Nova Sintra. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse infinie, la chambre était propre. La terrasse est garnie de divers plantes et de fleurs, idéal pour le petit déjeuné avec vu sur la montagne.

יש מדרגות כשעולים וגם לחדר ללא מעלית , מרפסת יפה עם נוף ,חדר נחמד,שימו לב : יש תחנת רכבת קרובה ,שמענו את הרכבת בבוקר מוקדם,למלון יש חניה קרובה ,בעלים נחמדים

Один из лучших отелей которые я посещал, а я путешествую достаточно часто. На что хочу обратить внимание так это на обслуживание. Персонал всегда идёт вам на встречу, и помогает справиться с любыми неожиданностями. Если я когда нибудь ещё раз буду в Синтре, то я остановлюсь именно тут

Amazing place. Hotel is beautiful and clean. Room was grey and had a private balcony. The terrace is amazing and has a beautiful view of the Moorish Castle. Staff go above and beyond for you. Location was perfect for us also.

Sin duda una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida!! El Hotel es precioso con un encanto inigualable, unas vista increíbles al Castillo, nos dieron a elegir la habitación con vistas al Castillo era amplia limpia y una decoración perfecta. Las vistas tanto de la habitación como de la terraza exterior eran preciosas. La amabilidad del personal del hotel es espectacular, te tratan con mucho cariño y calided, se preocuparon por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta y lo consiguieron. Sin duda volveremos en cuanto podamos. Gracias por hacernos sentir cómo en casa, os faltan estrellas dos son pocas.!!!

Great hospitality of Hotel Staff, everybody od very helpful and kind. Hotel has a very good location close to train station and just few minutes of walking to Sintra's center. Rooms are cosy and nice. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for stay in Sintra.

La elección de este hotel, fue la mejor decisión del viaje. El personal del hotel es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a hacerte la estancia mas confortable. Los desayunos muy ricos y con vistas. La habitación tranquila, limpia y confortable. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta tanto si visitas Sintra, como si quieres hacer un tour por la zona tanto en coche como en transporte público. Per sin duda, lo mejor del hotel es el trato cálido del personal que siempre te recibe con una sonrisa.

Stayed there for 3 nights Nov. 7-9, 2016. It is located within a 5 min walk from the train station. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us during our stay. It felt very cozy and relaxing. Would highly recommend it. B'fast was included and was better than most hotel b'fasts I've had.

Hotel Nova Sintra is a great choice for your stay in Sintra. It's well located within the city, with easy access to the train station and a 10-minute walk from the city centre.
The staff - two gentleman we crossed - were very nice, communicative and made us feel at home.
The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are big and are well equipped for the type of hotel it is.
The breakfast is very good for two stars, comparable to many others I've seen at three star hotels.
A definite choice when I return to Sintra.

The hotel has a very special and captivating feeling. The owner, Sr. Rui is outstanding. He will give you support 24/7 if you need--and he does that with his heart. Breakfast is included and is also prepared and displayed with absolute care. Hotel has a great view to the castle and the beautiful green hills of Sintra. The terrace is large and magic with tables and chairs - - great to sit with friends or a companion. It is well located. Lots of restaurants around. Also next door you find a pharmacy and a holistic center (with shiatsu, supplements, and other natural healing treatments). I would come back here whenever I am in Sintra.
