Louise Higgins: An absolute must We traveled to Portugal for our 10th wedding anniversary and Douro Walks was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s an absolute must if you visit the Douro Valley. We couldn’t decide which tour to book, so we contacted Antonio & Silvia and they customized a day for us. It was spectacular and we left feeling like we have family in Ervedosa do Douro. Antonio drove us to Ervedosa and along the way, highlighted points of interest and shared information about the region with us. We walked from the village along trails and roads to the family vineyard where we met Silvia, her brother and father. We picked figs, vegetable from the family plot and walked through another part of the vineyard learning about grape growing, the harvest and family history. We harvested almonds with the family - so fun! We met Silvia and Antonio’s three children and Silvia’s mum who prepared and unbelievable lunch... they called it a picnic but it’s was a family Sunday dinner, in an old vines vineyard under an apricot tree. We feasted on homemade bread & baking, grilled pork and fresh vegetables... all paired with Mr. Sebastian’s homemade wine and port. This family meal remains our favorite experience from our trip to Portugal. After the “picnic” Silvia & Antonio drove us through other villages to viewpoints and taught us more about the region. On the way back to our hotel we stopped at their home and again were invited inside by Silvia’s mom for more food and time with the family. We were then given grapes, vegetables, almonds & bottle of port to take home! If you are looking for an authentic experience... look no further. We can’t thank Silvia and Antonio enough for an amazing day. Their generosity & hospitality made us feel like a part of their family and we look forward to visiting them again.

Eu tropecei neste lugar ao acaso e não fiquei desapontado. Fiquei surpreendido com a selecção de L.Ps que estavam disponíveis. Se você é um entusiasta de L.P. você poderia passar o dia todo apenas folheando as caixas para encontrar algumas jóias de verdade. Não só têm registos, como também uma enorme selecção de artigos funky/ cool. De knick knacks a qualquer coisa que você possa imaginar. Também o cavalheiro que é dono/trabalha lá é fantástico. Super útil e tem muito conhecimento sobre as coisas à venda. Também se pode dizer que ele tem muito orgulho na sua loja. Nunca pensei que um lugar fixe como este existisse na dena. Você deve a si mesmo verificar e pegar algo que não vai encontrar na maioria das lojas.

Fácil de trabalhar. Nós, como senhorios, compramos muitos electrodomésticos. O Ralf facilita as coisas para nós. Escolhemos, pagamos, damos-lhe a morada e o número de contacto dos inquilinos. É feito num instante. Sem canalizador para engatar mangueiras. Tão fácil em comparação com outros na cidade. O Lowes deixa cair aparelhos mas não os engata. Tem de se marcar um canalizador separado para isso. O Dewaard e o Bode Delivery são os melhores. Estou farto dos problemas da caixa grande.
