El local es muy pequeño pero no te sientes agobiado. La comida muy buena a un precio razonable. La única queja seria que tardaron una hora en servirnos el segundo plato (pulpo al horno) supongo que por limitaciones de la cocina, pero echamos de menos que nos lo comunicaran.

Octopus is the specialty and it’s amazing. We also loved the friendly service from the owners and the fun music. We tried a bunch of dishes including dessert and it was all fantastic. The wine was great too. Get their early to make sure you get your food early or their could be a wait.

Been eating here for 5 years and hands down best restaurant in the area. Consistently excellent in Burgau village. You won't be disappointed except if it is full.

Proper food mate, always some great mucic and the owners, who run the kitchen and the bar, are such lovely people.

Absolutely amazing!!! They managed to squeeze in 17 of our friends into their lovely restaurant. The tapas food was delicious, we tried there entire selection and it was all beautiful, definitely try the octopus! The white sangria was also amazing!!

Auf Empfehlung unseres Gastgebers haben wir dieses kleine, aber feine Lokal besucht. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Speisekarte ist handgeschrieben und vermittelt somit einen guten Eindruck. Das Essen war einfach genial. Dazu wurden wir sehr freundlich beraten. Auch der Weißwein aus der offenen Flasche war genial. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal :)

We've spent two months in Burgau and I'm regretting we didn't visit this place early enough into our stay to savor this delicious Portuguese cuisine. Bar #9 is always busy. But this is for the reason: they serve genuine homemade food wrapped with a personal touch Octopus and abras dishes are delicious. Prices are reasonable. Decor is welcoming and with sustainability in mind. I love their unique take on the menus, decorations and service. Don't miss this place if you are here. Get on a wait list, enjoy a craft of rose while waiting and embrace all they have there for you ‍

Fabulous food, ambience, and staff. Pulpo is unique and very delicious. Other dishes are also authentic and excellent. My favorite place in the Algarve. Just be prepared for there to be few seats left!
