La comida es muy buena, grandes cantidades y muy buena calidad. La única queja posible sería que los baños quizás necesitan una reforma, pero se ha ganado las 5 estrellas!

Très bon accueil. La jeune serveuse parle très bien le français et le patron est un pitre mais très sympa .
Bons plats et bon service. Ambiance très familiale. À découvrir.

Excellent food and service. Great for kids, they are really looked after. Was given a bottle of wine at end of the meal by the owner to take home. Really nice touch and I'll be back.

We had seafood stew for 2....plentiful and tasty. Staff were super friendly and the place was full. Definitely return.

Got to be our favourite restaurant in Carvoeiro!!! Not because of Joel's culinary skills but for his skills in making a meal at his restaurant an evening to remember. Don't worry if he flirts with your wife, it's just that the way he is!! His is the first restaurant we visit for our first me and the last we go to prior to our flight back to Manchester, plus several in be tween! S an N

Best food and fantastically funny staff. Complimentary drinks come in a carafe of port or fruit liqueur which you can sit and enjoy without obligation.

Restaurante localizado na praia do Carvoeiro. Bem localizado, na rua principal, boa comida e gente simpática. Peca um pouco pela esplanada, devido a estar tão próxima da passagem de automóveis e de pessoas. A comida é fresca e feita com qualidade. Local limpo e asseado.

Estuvimos cenando hace dos noches. La atención por parte de los camareros fue muy buena, la comida muy rica, de calidad, con cantidad y muy buen precio, nos gustó mucho,”. Fue todo muy agradable. Os recomendamos que lo proveis y que no os engañe su humilde imagen!!

My Chicken Piri Piri was over cooked and dry as sawdust. The Piri Piri "sauce" was just some not very spicy chili oil. My wife's fried shrimp were way over cooked. Service was OK and wine was good but there was no excuse for the poorly prepared main dishes.

We are always given an enthusiastic and friendly welcome at Jota Lita. Last night I had fish soup followed by fresh sea bass, which was cooked perfectly. The house red wine is really good too. The staff are great fun whilst remaining attentive and professional. Great place!

The staff are fabulous here, they make you feel like family. The table cover is a meal by itself. Cataplana was delicious as was my prawn cocktail. The complimentary port and liquor at the end was a nice touch.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff... (They were really engaging with our two kids). Probably the best lamb (loins) I've ever had (which is tough to admit too coming from new Zealand). The fish was also excellent. Highly recommend

Trevlig, personlig och familjär betjäning. Stora portioner och vällagad mat till bra priser. Vi blev rekommenderade lammfilé och den var perfekt. Hit återkommer vi gärna.

Super Petit restaurant typique portugais
L entrée (une soupe) etait parfaite
Le plat, une de leur spécialité, la cataplana est à tomber et très copieux
Le dessert, une tarte aux figues et pâte d amande est une tuerie
Bref, un repas parfait où tout est fait maison
Cerise sur le gâteau, les serveurs et le patron sont adorables

Very good. The fish is soooo fresh and we love the casual vibe and reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly. We willl definitely be back to try everything on the menu

Sehr empfehlenswert! Kleines Restaurant, aber sehr gemütlich und äußerst nettes Personal. Alle probierten Gerichte waren frisch und lecker, unbedingt die empfohlenen Tagesgerichte (auch bei den Nachspeisen!) beachten bzw. bestellen (siehe Fotos). Preislich völlig in Ordnung, Beilagen können ohne Mehrpreis nachbestellt werden. Selbst jetzt in der Nebensaison sollte man reservieren. Guten Appetit!

We have been here a few times. As usual the food was excellent, and the service was very good as well - always very friendly. I would happily recommend Jota Lita any time.

Ein Restaurant genau nach unserem Geschmack! Nicht so riesig sondern Klasse statt Masse. Essen nicht nur geschmacklich sehr gut sondern auch appetitlich zubereitet. Die Bedienung äußerst angenehm und witzig, selbst gegen 20 Uhr wenn der Laden voll ist haben die Drei alles im Griff. Zusammengefasst, egal ob man Fisch oder Fleisch mag, dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Great spot for some grilled fish. We had the Sea Bream and Sea Bass 'fish of the day' and both were delicious. Properly grilled, not overcooked and the service was excellent. They do get busy so if you don't arrive early (before 7:00pm), you may have a to come back later.

We have been coming here for 11 years, approx 4/5 times per year and the food has never deviated from being excellent. The staff are delightful and professional. The owner Jon is a true character who never ceases to entertain his clientele. Thank you Jon and staff for your excellent service and food.

Excellent food, friendly helpful service. The fish (salmon, bream and bass) and lamb chops were all delicious! Excellent value! At the end of the meal they served us complimentary port. Will definitely return!

Producto de gran calidad (tanto pescado como carne) y perfectamente cocinado. Destacable el entrecot a la pimienta, que estaba MUUUY bueno. Los entrantes también a la altura, y el trato excepcional. Recomendable 100%, te sientes como en casa

We originally trying to get into Happy's but they were booked for the night so they suggested Jota Lita across the street. The decor was a little heavy on the English football theme but the food was superb. And the service was equally great.

Friendly staff all the way. I've ordered my steake medium and after receiving it realised it's too rare for my liking. Sheff had no issues sizzling it for me for few more minutes.
This place also had most interesting looking "high" chair I've ever seen.
They offered some Porto in the end on the house, nice gesture
