Be sure to pay your City tax, Nothing was mentioned during check-in or the 10+ times we saw employees and the fee had to be wired to the hotel after arriving home at a cost of three times the actual charge. Also the lock was broke on the door to the hallway where our room was located and remained broke for 2+ days. Location was great.

The doors are annoying you hear everything from your neighbors the rooms are smaller than advertised ... lots of stairs ... no window to look out just a window at the ceiling

방이 다소 작고 엘레베이터가 없어서 힘들긴하였으나 올라갈때 짐을 들어주셔서 괜찮았어요. 정말 친절했고 방도 정말 깔끔했어요. 밤에 너무 목이말라 미니바 콜라를 하나 마셔서 체크아웃때 말씀드렸더니 선물이라네요 정말 기분좋게 묵다 가요 I’ll miss guys!❤️

The staff is very pleasant, helpful and nice.Location is excellent.The section with the stairs is very sucks, there is no elevator and you have to climb 5 floors, the staff helped us with the suitcases.Our room was in the attic, not recommended for especially tall people, I was there one night then went fine, the hotel is recommended if you are not in the room of the roof top.

Location in the Chiado was terrific but the climb up five floors of stairs was daunting and low ceilings in room at top a challenge.Staff were absolutely wonderful however and complimentary breakfast at the pastacellaria down the street most welcome.

À fuir ! Sauf si vous êtes sportifs. L'hôtel est situé du 3ème au 5ème étage sans ascenseur ! Ce n'est évidemment pas annoncé par le patron et si la grande majorité des clients ont l'air de s'en satisfaire, grand bien leur fasse! Lorsque vous êtes comme moi, handicapé, et que vous découvrez cette caractéristique APRÈS réservation qu'on vous a décrite comme non annulable, et que vous présentez une réclamation, vous êtes débités dans les minutes qui suivent. C'est donc bien une margoulinade !

Great hotel, the room was clean and nice, the staff is so friendly and helpful. There is no lift but believe me it was amazing time! And the main thing is the great location in walking distance to the main nightlife area so you don’t need a taxi after bar hopping and clubbing.

LOVED this hotel! The location is just perfect, me and my boyfriend walked everywhere the whole weekend. The room was great with a lovely bathroom and comfortable bed and also with an amazing view. The two guys we met in the reception was super friendly and helped us with recommendations and where to walk! I even got a surprise from them because it was my birthday! Really great place to stay in the heart of Lisbon!

Super nettes kleines Hotel. Saubere , sehr kleine Zimmer, für einen Stadttrip aber völlig okay. Die Jungs an der Rezeption helfen gern mit Tipps und Organisatorischem (z.B. Regenschirm, Taxi, etc.). Beste Lage in Lissabon um alle Sightseeing-Spots fussläufig erreichen zu können. Wir kommen wieder!

Great location and the friendliest/most helpful staff around (seriously, they were pretty amazing.). The room itself was pretty basic but met our needs. The shower curtain smelled moldy and needed replacing (we shared this and the staff said they’d get right on it and apologized.). WiFi needed to be reset a few times but once it reset it was good for a chunk of time. Beware of the stairs (not a problem for us, but if you are mobility impaired this spot is not for you.)

Walked up about sixty stairs to my small but nice room. My bag was carried for me. Room was very quiet once other guests were in their rooms and no longer in the shared hall.Location was excellent, easy walk to water, market, shops, cafes.

We enjoyed our 7 nights stay at Chiado 44. It’s a very central location near all modes of transport. It is easy to walk to the centre of Lisbon and it is close to the shops. The staff were lovely and accommodating and made good suggestions on places for us to visit. The maid was lovely and done a good job. Overall great stay in Lisbon and very convenient as it was our first time.

Loved this little place. Lots of stairs but it is what you expect in a city. Everything you need in a place to stay with a great location and a good value. No breakfast or coffee. Super friendly staff. Loved the area. Room 301 has a balcony and a view!

Es un hotel muy agradable muy buen ubicado, el staff muy amables muy atentos. Se dieron cuenta que teníamos un cumpleaños y nos regalaron 2 pasteles de Belém y una botella de champagne muy amables. Lo único que hay que considerar que no hay ascensor y se sube varias escaleras.

I had an amazing stay at Chiado 44. The room was beautiful, clean and super comfortable, plus everyone is really nice. I recommend the rooms with the balcony. Definitely going back next time I’m in Lisbon.

In der Nebensaison passt der Preis für die Leistung. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Top Lage.Schönes altes Stadthaus. 3.Stock - nichts für schweres Gepäck. Generell nichts für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung! Zimmer sehr klein, fast keine Ablagefläche. Dusche war bei Ankunft nicht sauber. Ein Handtuch schmutzig. Keine schließende Tür zum Bad, fast keine Räumliche Trennung.

Крыша над головой, рядом с метро и трамваем 28-го маршрута. В пешеходной доступности вокзалы на площади Россио (на Синтру) и вокзал на площади Европы (на Кашкайс).
Прямо в соседней двери - суши-ресторан. Напротив - министерство экономики Португалии. Чуть ниже по улице - еще два ресторанчика. На параллельной улице трамвай и каскад кафешек.
Если вы хотите увидеть как выглядит душевая кабинка из мрамора и стекла - то это вам сюда )))
изотермический смеситель в душе будет для вас приятным бонусом.
в номере мне не хватало две вещи:
- электрочайника
- полотенцесушителя.
возмите с собой десяток прищепок и сможете посушить свои носки напротив министерства экономики Португалии (здесь все местные так делают и никого это не парит).
Ребята на рецепции просто замечательные! Если вам что-то надо - просто обратитесь к ним и они все организуют для вас, как для своих друзей! (распечатка документов, оставить вещи - вплоть до велосипедов, где лучший прокат велосипедов/авто, где поесть дорого/дешево...)
если вам от гостиницы надо чего-то типа турецкого "онинклюзива" - то вам не сюда, да и вообще не в Португалию )))

호텔은 깨끗하고 직원도 친절합니다! 냉장고 있구요, 와이파이 빵빵해요! 엘리베이터가 없지만 직원분이 친절하게 올려다줍니다(조금 죄송했음ㅠㅠ) 위치도 좋아요(식당,술집거리,광장이랑 다 가까움, 큰 마트도 있음) 별 하나 깐건 바닥 맨발로 밟으면 아주 약간 진득한거 ㅠ 하지만 지내는데 불편함은 없어요:) 난방시설도 됩니다(물론 에어컨도)

3층 이라고 했지만 실질적으로는 5층 높이 였으며 환기가 전혀 되지않았다. 기본적인 물품이나 옷장,냉장고, 전화기 없음. 엘레베이터가 없는데 계단은 좁고 울퉁불퉁하고 가파르며 높다. 방안에 커텐은 세탁을 안했는지 시커맸다. 그리고 처음 들어갔을때 심한 락스 냄새가 났는데 다음날까지도 냄새가 나서 머리가 아팠다. 화장실은 깨끗함. 직원분은 엄청 친절하고 상냥하시고, 이것이 이 호텔의 유일한 장점이였음. 이틀예약했으나 생각했던것과 사진이 너무 달라 힘들어서 하루만 머물고 나와서 다른곳에 감. 하루 자는데 곰팡이 냄새..?아무튼 겨울에 그렇게 꿉꿉하고 눅눅한 공기를 맡다니 상상도 못했다.

The location of this hotel in Chiado is great. But even acknowledging that it is low cost, there is one big problem. Nowhere in the description of the hotel is there a warning that one has to climb FIVE FULL FLOORS to get to the room--there is NO lift. Once there, the room was clean but the TV was an afterthought with no international channels and the toilet/shower room had a glass door which doesnt really close. Although we requested it, we were never given shampoo (admittedly a minor fault). The young Brazilian guys who run this are cheerful and friendly, but clearly not professional. All said, for the price, this would have been a great place if the room had been on the first or perhaps second floor. But the fifth? não obrigado!!

Excellent location and room was super clean and cozy.It’s close to everything but far enough from the noise.Beds were great and had amazing sleep every night.Fabiano and Jefferson were great hosts!One thing to note is there is no lift and we had to climb 5 flights of stairs. This is no problem for us as we are fit but if you are not it may be a problem especially if you have to move luggage.The staff can help you though so it’s really not an issue.

Amazing boutique hotel in great location central to everything. Easily able to walk to most attractions, 5 mins to Time Out market and 15 mins to Main Street.Wonderfully clean and great friendly staff. Be warned though- very steep and several stairs to room If mobility problems as no lift.

The place is so convenient to anywhere you want to go. It’s quiet since the building across is an office. Live to have breakfast every morning nearby. Freshly baked products and fresh brewed coffee.

The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities (wifi, TV, mini fridge, wardrobe or closet). It's in a central location, with stunning and adorable balcony views. But above that, the hosts went above and beyond to check in on us and help us with anything we've needed. The hosts really raised the bar for hospitality - - I've been to many hotels around the world and few are as helpful, personable, accomodating and attentive as the staff in Chiado 44. Yes there are a number of stairs and no elevators, but that's clear in the description of the hotel and they shouldnt be docked for that. Plus, Pedro carried our suitcases to our rooms. Highly highly recommend!!

Friendly staff that takes the extra mile to accommodate you. Very central hotel, with many places around for having a decent breakfast. No elevator but it is manageable! Would definitely love to return! :-)

The hotel is unique, its situated close to everything, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The ONLY downside is no tea or coffee facilities in the room, or any form of breakfast, but it is so close to everything that isnt really problem

My flight was delayed so I couldn’t make it before the hotel‘s reception staff left for the night. When I arrived at the hotel a bit after midnight, I tried calling the contact number 8x but no one picked up (and the staff didn’t even bother to call back in the morning, although they must have seen my 8 calls and be aware of the fact that I didn’t arrive before they left the hotel). A drunk guest staying at the property let me into the reception area where there was no staff, only the occasional cockroach and advertising booklets with the hotel‘s number that no one was picking up. I ended up having to book another hotel. Terrible experience that I would not wish to anyone.

Hotel situato nel cuore del quartiere Chiado di Lisbona, in zona molto comoda per gli spostamenti in città e tranquilla durante le ore notturne. La stanza in cui abbiamo soggiornato era piccolina ma accogliente e dall'arredamento moderno. Buon rapporto qualità /prezzo. Accoglienza, cortesia e piena disponibilità dei gestori sono un valore aggiunto!

Edificio storico. Ottima posizione vicino a tutto ma lontani dalla confusione. Staff eccezionale (ottimi consigli per i ristoranti) pronto nel risolvere ogni tua esigenza. Camera tripla grande e soprattutto pulita, idem per il bagno. Ci tornerei.
Peccato i 5 piani senza ascensore da fare (palazzo storico). Non approvo assolutamente la porta del bagno in vetro, consiglio vivamente la sostituzione con una in legno.
Detto tutto ciò, ci tornerei volentieri.

This place is dirty, small and run down. There is no one downstairs overnight. It is a 5 floor walk up with no one to help with your bags. I would never suggest staying here. I would be shocked if any positive review was not faked.

Schöne und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer. Wir hatte ein Zimmer in der 3. Etage nach hinten. Allerdings hatten auf dem Balkon zwei Klimaanlagen, so dass man Nachts immer ein monotones Brummen hörte.
Es gibt zwar keinen Aufzug, aber die Jungs von der Rezeption sind sehr hilfsbereit und tragen auch die Koffer nach oben. Auch bei Fragen zur Umgebung und Tips für Restaurants waren alle immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit!
Preislich ist das Hotel nicht die günstige Variante, dafür aber super zentral, so dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Nel cuore di Lisbona in un palazzo del 1700, Chiado 44 si trova nella zona più vivace e piena di ristoranti, wine bar, localini di ristorazione di ogni tipo. Le camere sono pulite e arredate in modo originale e moderno, silenziose, non molto ampie. Alla reception abbiamo trovato sempre la massima disponibilità e accoglienza. Consigliatissimo anche a ragazzi e coppie, non per famiglie con passeggini (non c'è l'ascensore).

Excellent tips ,great location , very clean! The staff is very nice, they like to share with you tips for sights seeing. Also, they were incredibly generous, as it was my birthday and they sent me a chapmagne and cookies in the room. We will come back for sure!

Small modern rooms, no breakfast, but the team is very helpful and friendly. The old building is quite atmospheric. Our room had a fantastic view. You're able to walk to the centre of Lisboa.

Un lugar donde descansar tranquilo y al lado del centro rodeado de restaurantes y panaderías artesanas donde cenar o almorzar, a un paso del metro y el tranvia, si te toca un piso alto con vistas al río. Totalmente reformado y trato amable.
