I didn't visit here. Googles spy system must have malfunctioned and located me incorrectly therefore my review is based on what I expect a bar like this to be like.

Visited as part of the Algarve Rota Do Petisco 2019
We had ribs and beer. Which were excellent.
We were served by a very nice British girl who looked after us very well and was a delight to talk to.

It was St Patrick's Day when we were here so maybe not the best time to see a place in terms of being busy and crowded. I know this place is popular but it did not stir me. The food was adequate, we had the chicken piri piri and others had fish and chips and the Irish stew. The staff however were friendly and helpful although they were rushed off their feet.

Good little place to watch the football and enjoy a cold beer while the world passes by...welcoming no doubt about it.... prices reasonable too

Really good food, nice waiter (also speaks english), good prices! Soup of the day (lamb) with bread, 5,50€.

Not my typical type of bar when abroad but the young Portuguese/English waiter was extremely friendly and made it a great experience and the wine was good. Definitely will visit again. Trotters reunited!

Great little pub to watch the soccer match. Gooners not allowed as this is a spurs establishment. Just kidding they will probably allow you in but charge you double.

Excellent food and top class service. Staff are customer focussed and really courteous. Food is authentic high standard indian as you would experience in India.

The oldest sports bar in the algarve, great staff, food and beers etc. Very welcoming, highly recommended for a sit down meal or just a couple of drinks! Entertainment during the evenings, sports shown.

Average pub in Lagos. We've been here a couple of times during the last year's and always have the feeling that the waiters for the outside area are very disinterested in doing their job. Always takes a while to be served, even when seen entering the place and activley waiting for drinks. Otherwise good prices for drinks (e.g. 4€ for a pint of Thatchers cider)

Fantastic bar, and the food is amazing, and a big bonus was that we could bring our 2 little doggies inside to eat, which is great at this time of year. They have daily specials and the staff our great. Very friendly place.

Tasty bit of grub washed down with a chateau sagres. Lovely jubbly. No plonkers in there. You could believe if it was to carry-on being so debonair by this time next year there all going to be millionaires. You gotta have a visit. He who dares wins .

We absolutely adore this lovely little gem of a place. Eddie the owner is salt of the earth fella as is his son and other staff members, the food is delicious hence the 5 stone gain in the last 8 days haha nightly entertainment is great karaoke available. Just an all round great place.. can't wait to come back for Christmas and New year...

Eddie, Phil and Paulo are great hosts, they make you feel right at home. The food is very good (English and Portuguese food) and they have a wide range of drinks. This is like a typical English bar with plenty of banter and laughs. If youre looking for football they have 2 screens and all the channels, They have karaoke and great entertainment. If you want to go somewhere that looks after you this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I'll be sorry to go home on the 11th Sept but i cannot wait to return for new year xxx

Terminamos allí un poco de casualidad y fue todo un acierto. Marisco fresco, precios asequibles y carne bien cocinada. El camarero amabilisimo y atento. También hay música en directo a partir de las 10 de la noche, lo que hizo que nos quedaríamos un rato más tomando los algo. Eso sí la cocina la cierran sobre las 22;30 de la noche, tenerlo en cuenta si sois españoles y es vuestra hora de cenar. De hecho la mayoría de restaurantes para la cena abren de 17:00 a 21;00. Volvería a ir!

No Star! Nearly got beaten up by the owner/Bar man who is very aggressive. I had a very traumatic experience here. As you can see by Sarah’s review below sums it all up. Only we were leaving the next day we would have gave a statement to the GNR (local Police) for assault.

Fantastic people. Great and welcoming sense of community. I had fish and chips. Took the cod option. Not greasy. A beautiful piece of cod. Guinness on tap. Reasonable prices too.

AVOID - Minus stars for a disgusting aggressive owner and very hostile crowd. We had a terrible experience in this bar. We walked in to a lively atmosphere with music playing and lots of people. We went down the back and then went to use the toilets before getting a drink. As I was pushing the door open I was pulled by my jacket hood. Confronted by abusive language and told to leave. As I was walking out the owner then turned on my boyfriend, shouting at him. The music stopped and the crowd became aggressive towards us. I had walked out my boyfriend following, he was blocked at the door and when I tried to return the door was LOCKED. He was inside surrounded by aggressive drunk thugs I was outside. Only for the staff who diffused the row and OPENED the door this could have been very very nasty.

Commenting on guest's orders while they are still there is rather rude.
Shouldn't make guest feel like they are not wanted. We understand that you make more money on food orders, but you didn't know whether we'd order more than just the coffees.
The coffee was horribly bitter and nothing compared to the good espressos we have had in the algarve.

Most of the tables were still dirty because they hadn't been cleared yet. We found one to sit at and had to wait for ages before someone finally took our order. Then this happened.
Apparently the staff is 'sick to death of coffees' which was of course not meant for us. 'You weren't supposed to hear that.' Well, maybe you shouldn't have said it after walking by when your collegue just took our coffee order after we waited ten minutes without anyone paying attention to us.
Then we got our coffee, both a double espresso. The coffee cups obviously hadn't been cleaned: multiple dried up drops of coffee were visible on the outside of the coffee cup. Gross. The 'double espresso' tasted like a bad americano.

Great place, very English but most of the English staff speak Portuguese (very impressed) but like I said a proper family owed English joint. Very nixe, great drinks and the food made by Portuguese chefs is brilliant! Whether the English food or the traditional stuff all-round 5 star

Lovely British pub in Lagos. Sam made us feel welcome right away. Great pub to catch all your EPL games at - everyone is very friendly. Full English breakfast hit the spot after a long night.

Very nice food and service. Not expensive. Bartender is super helpful and kind. Good place for football and sports. The only negative point is that when people smoke outside the smell is spreading all over the place.

Nice place in a calm street. The dishes are cheap. We took the cheeseburger and the potatoes for 5€. Should not expect much from it but it feeds. Nice if you want to eat quickly and cheaply.
