A very nice hotel but their greatest asset is their staff. Long term staff know their clientele and you cannot buy or train your staff for that.

Was an exceptional place to stay, the room was kept very clean by the cleaners. The size of the room took your breath away, the living quarters where massive, two sofa beds, table with four chairs and you still had plenty of room to move. The bathroom had a massive walk in shower and always had plenty of hot water. Bedroom, basic two beds pushed together with an enormous tiled picture behind them.The views from balcony was glorious, have your morning cuppa there and just watch the sea change colour. If i had my way I'd be back there tomorrow, i would definitely go back again

Great aparthotel,very clean throughout,lovely pool area,cant comment on food as went self catering,studio we stayed in was a bit small as well as kitchen as i do cook on holiday,but coukd still manage,staff all very friendly and nice bar terrace,would definitely stay again but would opt for an apartment next time.

Came to the Brisa 14th April suprised how nice it was the rooms very clean and spacious we just had breakfast which was plentiful. The pool was magnificent and not far to the beach pleased we weren't on the strip to far out a taxi ride to the nearest beach

Buen sitio para ir en familia, sin animación en Abril. La comida es buena, están atentos cuando falta algo. Habitaciones completas con ducha reformada. No me gustó nada que me llamarán 3 veces a la habitación para decirme que pagara unas bebidas en vez de cargarlas a la cuenta.

Went for new year last year hotel is very good close to the old town and the strip 2o minute walk to either the little train stops just outside hotel which goes to both places outside pool is good very clean around the pool we were self catering so can't comment on the restraunt but hearing what other guests say it is very good food

Just returned from 3 weeks in this hotel and we were very impressed. The rooms were spotless and very spacious. Cleaners in every day and beds changed twice weekly. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. I would love to go back and hope to be able to go again later this year. Really deserves its 4 star rating.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars but the prices in the bar and inability to make the cocktail they offer for sale let it down, otherwise a beautiful hotel, very friendly professional staff, rooms cleaned very well every day, games room good but could do with a bit of modernisation, beautiful outdoor pool and heated indoor pool, well equipped gym, outside snack bar, restaurant wasn't open during our visit but did look very nice, enjoyed staying here a good quality hktel

Simpatia e educação dos colaboradores, limpeza e higiene dos espaços privados e públicos, bem equipado e com imensas áreas de lazer, desde sala de jogos, passando por piscina e terminando em campo de ténis e squash. Muito central, próximo da praia, e com a uma pastelaria brutal à porta. Pequeno-almoço excelente, muito variado e com grande qualidade.

Dit is een mooi hotel. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. De ligging van het hotel is niet veraf van de zee. In de buurt van het hotel zijn winkels waar je boodschappen kunt doen. Verder bevinden zich er een aantal leuke kledingboutiques.

Can't fault this hotel and my family think I'm really fussy. Lovely views helpful staff. If I was to be really picky sometimes the food could be a bit hotter, but if you are in when it's just put out its fine. Great location for beach , old Town and the strip. McDonald's and KFC across the road, lots of restaurants near by. Just fantastic.

Hotel ok a bit out dated couldn't sleep last night so at 1.30 in the morning thought I would get dressed in go and sit I the lobby only to be told by the receptionist I couldn't sit in the lobby at that time due to the servilance cameras in all the 30 years of going away I've never been told I can't sit in the lobby late at night.

Loved it. This place is exceptional on all levels. Hard to find fault with anything. Staff service facilities layout , all come highly rated. 5 Star quality here. This has a real hotel feel to it, even thought. You have the benefit of a kitchen in your suite.

Fantastic Hotel, very clean, all staff very friendly, food nice in the pool bar and the restaurant. Situated in a very good location inbetween the Albufeira Old Town and the strip. Make sure you choose a room overlooking the pool and sea. Would 100% stay here again in the future.

I have just returned from Brisa Sol . This was my 2nd visit albeit 1st time was a few years ago. Hotel is one of the best in albufeira.. located just minutes from old town. We were half board. If you are a fish lover you will enjoy dinner but the meat was very limited in choice. Breakfast was great.. meals are buffet.. I wasn.t impressed with having to pay for a glass of water with dinner in all fairness the tea is included in breakfast.. pool area is great tho.. plenty of sun beds. For anyone with kids be aware as I didnt see any life guard but you could check hotel. No entertainment in pool area either which did suit us as we had no kids and went for total relaxation..

Hotel in great spot pool amazing loads beds
Rooms very nice well equipped only down side was we are half board breakfast is ok but most the food was just warm we not fussy eaters the evening meal well you can always find something but first time I've been away and struggled no meals for kids no chicken nuggets or pizza not lot food to choose from I will come back to this hotel definite with kids and grandchildren but only self catering don't be put off by food it's not that expensive to eat out

Nice hotel in a great location...however, very rude members of staff on reception! I booked a pool view and reception tried to say I had not! Even though I had booking confirmation. This was eventually sorted after calling the booking agent. The reception staff certainly allocated a room purposely on the lower ground pool view, even though the hotel was quiet in November 2017. I requested a room on a higher floor for the view. The cleaners are lovely and friendly. I did not try the food from the hotel. There is a large supermarket next door to the hotel.

Well located hotel with a good size supermarket next door for if you are self catering, staff are always freindly and welcoming good size room and bathrooms all with double size showers roim are always cleaned great size outside pool and warm indoor heated pool, hotel also has a gym and good size restruant on the lower floor and bar on the lobby floor they also have there own patersie which has recently been extended offering a fantastic range of fresh cakes at very good prices and now also sell fresh ice cream. I have been there for the last few years and always have a good experience.

Magnifica relación calidad precio. Súper limpio. Personal muy agradable. Cruzando carretera hay MacDonalds , KFC, kebabs, etc. Pegado al hotel magnífica cafetería pastelería con dulces de aupa. Estupenda piscina climatizada. Hay que pagar 3€ por día por usar sauna y jacuzzi o gimnasio. Buffet cena 18€ adultos sin bebidas.

Clean, modern & fresh. Staff were very helpful when a 3rd child had been dropped of our booking via an online agency. Very handy for both the Old Town and amenities (Continente Grocery store next door and McDs & KFC across the road). 2 pools: 1 large outside and a smaller indoor heated pool. There is also a small games room with crazy golf, pool tables and air hockey. My only criticism is that in this day and age you still have to pay for the WiFi. 3 euro per day PER DEVICE!

Two main things l never liked was no free WiFi even in reception, never had that before enywere in Europe. Could have in bar for a set time but don't open till 4in afternoon. Its steps all over just to get to room,not easy for old people lugging full cases up and then down steps we were given a room at back no sun at all,had 2lots steps to negotiate then had steps to get on to balcony, so had to upgrade 10€per day.apart from that all rest good.

Easily the best aparthotel in Albueira. Central location, two super markets within 5 minutes walk. First class staff, good service.
Top tip. Book your accommodation directly with the hotel website. Do not book with third party travel sites. The front office manager, Joao Jose Vincent is extremely helpful in this respect, but he attracts negative reviews from guests who book through third party sites. He is often beset by guests arriving having been given misleading information from third party websites. So, if you want the best deal for you and your party, in my opinion and experience, book directly with the hotel.

Lovely place to stay, and spotlessly clean. Only down side there was nothing in the room to make coffee in. Would have thought they could have stretched to at least a cone shaped drip filter. There is also no areas within the hotel were WiFi is available unless you pay a charge, 3 euros a day and 10 per week, I found this most unusual as most hotels do provide WiFi at the pool in the reception areas. Other than that I did have a lovely relaxing holiday.

Beautiful clean hotel...visited in November. Friendly helpful staff. Large outdoor pool with a lovely grass area around the pool. Indoor pool too. WiFi is not free but fantastic 4g signal. 10 minute walk from old town and the beach. KFC etc across the road if that's what you need. Nice cocktail bar with outside balcony.

Very welcoming, friendly & helpful staff run this hotel very well indeed. Lovely & clean the building has pretty much everything you need to see you through your holiday on site. The location is perfect situated so that no matter what kind of holiday you want to enjoy, whether it be a relaxing beach holiday, a shopping holiday, maybe golfing at tour level courses, perhaps you want to party? Whatever your doing this hotel is central to everything making everything at most 15 minutes away.
PS- The cake shop sell some incredible cakes, perfect accompliment to the morning coffee

Excellent hotel. Our apartment was located on the ground floor with it's own terrace and a walk out to the pool. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Barbara on reception who passed on her local knowledge for places to visit. She is an asset to the hotel.
The location for us was ideal, away from both the strip and the old town but close enough for a stroll to either if you wish. There is also the local train that runs between the old town and new town (the strip) and stops outside the hotel if you don't want to walk.
Overall an excellent stay and a very enjoyable holiday.

Location is brilliant if you don't want to be getting taxis everywhere and the room was clean, but certainly wouldn't call it a 4 star. WiFi cost extra, use of the safe cost extra and they don't even supply towels for sitting by the pool. Had to go by one. Staff were friendly though.

The staff are really helpful and pleasant. From the Hotel reception through to the cleaners. The whole of the building /apartments are spotless. The pool area gets busy and despite the signs warning not to, many people put towels down to reserve sunbeds and then left the area for hours at a time. And no this does not just apply to Germans, fellow brits were the worst for this.
The pool itself is a great size, clean, well maintained and despite. The area around it being busy, the pool itself was never cramped.
The hotel's location was great, pretty much equidistant from old and new town and the beach. All within about 15 mins walk. Plus plenty of nearby shops, cafés and a great supermarket.
Would absolutely stay here again.

The room that they gave us was on the -2 floor with a ground floor view of the parking lot and service entrance. Very bad internet, which they charge you for. We brought our own hotspot so it was not an issue for us, but if you dont have that, then good luck ! Hotel is within walking distance to the beach area which is very nice.

Este hotel está muito bem localizado, talvez não exista melhor localização em Albufeira do que está para um hotel, para quem queira estar próximo de supermercados, restaurantes fastfood, e da zona histórica da cidade onde encontramos a praia dos pescadores e uma grande variedade de bares e restaurante e lojas. A partir do hotel vamos a pé para qualquer um destes locais, demorando mesmo de 20min até ao centro histórico. O hotel tem um bom lobby e é muito fácil de encontrar. Também tem uma a piscina que é ideal para descansar e apanhar um sol.

The location is good being close to old town. It is situated on the main road which does mean traffic when your window is at the front. Unfortunately the apartment is a bit dated and there is no free WiFi or freezer compartment in the fridge. Therefore no ice unless you pay for it at the bar. The restaurant not great but the maid service is very good and is daily.

Banyoda havalandırma fanı göremedim. Bu yüzden duştan sonra buhar yapıyor. Temizlik iyi. Bölgede her otelin adında "sol" var. O yüzden otelin tam adını öğrenmeniz yararınıza olur. Ücretsiz otoparkı var. Açık ve kapalı havuzlar, sauna ve masaj hizmeti var. Her ünite her saatte açık olmayabiliyor. Resepsiyondan ayrıntılı bilgi veriyorlar. Çalışanlar ilgililer. Oldukça yardımcı oluyorlar. Konuşmalar düzgün ve anlaşılır. Algarve bölgesinde kalınabilecek güzel bir otel.

Stayed in hotel brisa sol for 1 week in Feb 2018. We both wer more than happy with the top notch service everything was just fabulous. Staff wer all so friendly and nothing was to much bother to them. Towels and bedlinen clean everyday along with cleaning the whole bathroom n kitchenette. Food was very tasty and at a normal expense. 1st class bar with lovely music most nights.
And one thing i have to include and soo much appreciate from lovely receptionist Locei, i forgot to lift my new blouse frm behind bathroom door and she made sure to post it of to me and received it a few days latr. We would def recommend this hotel. Loved every minute of our stay.. cu all soon lovely Brisa Sol x

Just spent a week there over Christmas, we stayed bed and breakfast and enjoyed everthing. Stayed in a studio room and it was spotless, it was cleaned and towels changed every day. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Could not find any faults at all. Thanks everyone.

The rooms are old and not very well maintained, but the corridors and the reception are good-looking. The WiFi is not free and overpriced regarding the slow speed of the connection. Also, if you don't want to pay the 8€/person/night for the breakfast, there is a McDonald's in the other side of the street where you can have breakfast for much less.

The hotel is well located and spotlessly clean.
The staff are friendly and approachable.
The room cleaners need a special mention as they work so hard and do a great job.
The drink prices are a bit steep but then it is a four star hotel.

The lower hotel rooms on the front street could do with some serious secondary glazing, as the noise from the main road traffic is really quite bad.
The hotel apart from that is very good both for the room sizes and cleanliness, the food in the pool cafe is varied and tasty, with the pool area being very clean.

Good professional staff all round. . Basic hotel, clean, unworn , well fitted out, Wifi, family oriented but not noisy.
Not for your romantic honeymoon, but probably fine for anniversaries !

A nice hotel within reasonable walking distance of old town Albuferia & the strip. Walking could be an issue for those with difficulties as the pavements are cobbled & can be slippy. Also the hotel is uphill from the beach & old town areas.
Very friendly staff here & the hotel is always clean.
Pool view rooms are huge & well equipped though bedrooms face the dual carriageway so can be very noisy at night with boy racers especially on motorbikes.
Breakfast is good with the usual continental & hot food choices which are regularly topped up. Evening meal choices are somewhat limited although what there is was always good quality & tasty. The pool snackbar serves a good selection & service is generally fast & efficient.
There is very little evening entertainment & none during the day.
I wouldn't rate the Brisa Sol as 4 star due to the lack of facilities. The hotel is definately more suited to an older clientele.

Beautiful place..no rushing for the beds..there are more than enough for everyone...10 mins walk from the Old Town ..would definitely recommend this Hotel !! Rooms are spotless and spacious ..snack bar is affordable and nice variety of foods available.. we are currently on our 5th day here (217 room ) which is at the side of the hotel..no complaints from us at all ..Think i would upgrade next time for. Pool view ...will definately be booking to come here again !!

Great family/older hotel. Chilled and very relaxed. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast with excellent coffee... major bonus, very very poor orange juice though. Ying to the Yang. Big pool. Loads of sunbeds that cant be taken till 8am. Nice walk to either old or new town. Mcdonalds and KFC to rear and nice cake eatery adjoining.

I'm currently staying at this hotel with my two sons, 15 years and 5 years. It is a nice hotel. The location is great. The hotel is kept very clean. Although there are many hidden costs. On the website the facilities include a football pitch, tennis court and gym. It doesn't mention that you have to pay each time you want to use these facilities. €12.50 per half hour to be exact. The wifi is also an extra cost of €10 per device per week. Now this wouldn't be a bad price if the wifi worked but it hardly works at all. I'm happy enough to have stayed here but I certainly wouldn't come again and don't recommend it.

Pasamos 4 noches en la primera semana de julio en este hotel-apartamento. Está en Albufeira, relativamente cerca del centro de la ciudad y de la playa (unos 15 - 20 minutos andando).
El hotel en general está bien:
- Las habitaciones son bastante grandes y equipadas con casi todo lo necesario para un apartamento. La única pega es que, en el caso de habitaciones para 4 personas, dos camas son "sofá-camas", con colchones finos y almohadas incómodas. Sin embargo, las camas normales son de buena calidad. Habría que mejorar ese punto. El resto de la habitación, muy bien. Se nota que es un hotel un poco viejo pero muy bien cuidado.
- En cuanto al resto de instalaciones: la piscina es bastante grande y hay muchas hamacas, aunque muchos huéspedes ponen la toalla a primera hora y se van a pesar de estar prohibido... hay spa y sauna (en temporada de verano están cerrados), gimnasio, bar de copas y un "snack-bar" en la piscina.
- Internet: el wifi es de pago, lamentablemente... no sé si será algo habitual en Portugal, pero me parece un atraso. Cuesta 3 euros el día y solo se puede utilizar en un dispositivo. El hotel dispone de una sala de ordenadores, pero también hay que pagar por usar el Internet. Menos mal que ya no hay roaming en Europa...
- Ubicación: lo dicho, se puede ir andando al centro y a la playa. Hay una parada de un trenecito turístico que te lleva al centro y cuesta alrededor de 4 euros. Al lado hay un centro comercial muy grande para comprar comida o cualquier cosa necesaria, y enfrente hay una zona de restaurantes y bares, incluidos McDonnald y KFC.
- Aparcamiento: el hotel dispone de un garaje privado, al aire libre, gratuito.
- Comidas: nosotros tuvimos media pensión. El desayuno es muy bueno, hay gran cantidad y variedad de opciones, desayunos británicos/americanos, mediterráneos... de todo tipo. En cuanto a la cena, la variedad es mucho más reducida. No es de mala calidad pero hay pocos platos y casi siempre se repiten todas las noches. Teniendo en cuenta que el hotel posee una pequeña cocina, creo que no es una buena opción la media pensión, aunque sí el desayuno. Además, para los que no tengan régimen de alimentación, el mismo comedor posee platos como si fuese un restaurante normal, aunque muy caros, cerca de 20€ el plato.
- Animación: el hotel no posee animación como los grandes resorts en España. Por las noches, en el bar de copas que hay enfrente de recepción, algunas noches hay una persona tocando la guitarra y cantando.
- Atención: en general, todo el personal muy atento y amable, desde los de recepción hasta los camareros de los bares, pasando por las limpiadoras. Todos muy atentos ante cualquier duda. Mención especial a la recepcionista Lucía, que con su poco español nos explicó con mucha amabilidad todo lo que le preguntábamos.
En definitiva, salvo por el wifi y los sofá-camas, creo que es una muy buena opción.

Good friendly hotel.clean.staff approachable. Central location.and would stay again.breakfast good but we don't eat evening meals in hotel as we like to go out. No iron in room but are happy to supply one when needed.pools are excellent and spotlessly clean.Cake shop next door does metals and lovely cakes .

The hotel was very clean and welcoming, but they assumed that because we were a group of guys, that we were the group that were very disruptive one night and blamed us for it with no comeback available for us. Apart from this, it was a very nice stay in a great location.

Stayed here a few times and we are always impressed with the accommodation the 1 bedroom apartment is a great size but we ask for pool and sea view. The whole place is spotless can't wait for our next visit

Great hotel very clean with good facilities, nice size pool that was one of the cleanest we've ever seen BUT so cold it was hardly used at all , the 8 euro Breakfast (not free as advertised) was buffet style and not to bad, we didn't have Dinner in the restaurant as we found it expensive for what it was , the charge for the health suite wasn't mentioned either but at 3 euros per day again wasn't to bad .
Why is it that some nations think it is their given right to do as they please and expect everyone else to tow the line?
EVERY morning we were there, at least 3/4 of all the sunbeds we reserved by 8am , even with numerous signs saying it wasn't allowed and that they could be removed , which we did a few times .
We did mention it to reception but nothing was done but other than that gripe a great hotel

A lovely very clean hotel very comfortable rooms. Food is plentiful and a wide variety of different meats fish vegetables salard an array of deserts with diffrent soup each evening. Breakfast is everything you need from fruit juice to full English breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff highly recommend.

Clean, great apartment options, great views, fantastic pool. Location is right in the middle of old town and new town, with shopping centre next door, pastry cafe in hotel, McDonald's and KFC across the street and a range of other cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. The pool is large but the queue for sunbeds in the morning at 9am is ridiculous. The reason for my low score is the staff. They are so rude particularly the reception staff. The bar staff are miserable. In fact the only happy staff members are the cleaners who were always lovely. Four star hotel let down by one star service.

Myself and my partner had a lovely time, hotel very clean, but sadly our rep for Thompson's bryany was absolutely rubbish, she needs much more training. sadly we found the staff and the Portuguese people very rude and unsociable. we stayed for 11 days, and on the day we vacated the reception did not say anything, not a thank you, or did you enjoy your stay, not even a goodbye. I thought Portugal as a country beautiful and clean, but the people were only interested in your money. Not friendly one bit.

Just returned from six week winter sun break at Brisa Sol, excellent, very clean well serviced apartments. Only irritation was the extractors in the rooms very loud and on for hours at a time, wi-fi is not free and is slow. Well appointed hotel with good access to shops, not far from beach, plenty of restaurants and bars locally. Hotel has a very small gym and spa at 3 euro each charge, spa very disappointing considering the quality of the rest of the hotel. (pools were free, good pools, but we were there in February/March so outside pool too cold to swim in as not heated. Better view from poolside, overlooks sea and gets all day sun worth paying a bit extra. Will certainly be returning. Really good would recommend.

Just back from a 10 night stay. Hotel excellent, kept spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Best part of the day was watching the quiet desperation of some of the other guests as they started queueing from 08:30 to get a sunbed when the pool opened at 09:00. Plenty of sunbeds by the way. Definitely going back.

Just got back from a 10 day holiday at the Brisa Sol this was our second visit here the place is spotless. Staff brilliant nothing is to much bother and the cleaning ladies were spot on . The only thing i can find to complain about is the fact we had to come home. We are going back next year can't wait
