Also, eine 5 Sterne Anlage ist dieses Haus definitiv nicht! Da haben wir schon bei 4 Sternen mehr Leistung & Qualität erlebt. Das Haus ist einfach in die Jahre gekommen, leider wird gegen das Altern nicht viel getan. Die Gartenanlagen in diesem großen Resort werden kaum gepflegt, die große und festliche Empfangshalle ist eben nicht alles. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer ganz ok, der Vogelkot auf dem Balkongeländer hat uns die gesamte Woche begleitet. Bei einem Hotel am Meer hätte ich mir mal ein Stück Fisch zum Frühstück gewünscht... Weiterhin werden in diesem 5 Sterne Haus die englischen Gäste im Stranddress mit Badelatschen zum Abendbrot geduldet... Warum? Weil sie das Geld bringen! Für eine Woche war es ok, aber eben mehr Schein als Sein!

Frühstück, abgesehen, von frischem Obst und frisch- gepressten Orangensaft, war nicht gut. 12 Tage die gleiche Wurst keine frische Gemüse. Abendessen war ok , aber nicht vergleichbar mit anderen 5 Sterne Hotels die wir bis jetzt besucht haben. Das Hotel war sehr oft ,8 mal in 12 Tagen für Hochzeiten gebucht . Teil des Hotels war für die Hotelgäste abgesperrt und dürfte natürlich nicht benutzt werden. Ich kann absolut nicht verstehen, woher kommen die sehr gute Bewertungen. Für uns sind höchstens 4 Sterne. Für unseren nächsten Algarve Urlaub würde ich dieses Hotel nicht buchen.

Nice resort, but lack the small extras to be 5 star. Rooms appear nice, but I miss Iron and ironing board. One has to crawl behind the desk to find socket for the water boiler!
There is enough equipment in the gym, but it is old and could need6an upgrade.

The best hotel we stayed in by far. Very friendly and helpful staff. My family went self catering and found the apartments very clean, spacious with AC , 2 TVs and fresh towels and beds made every day. Highly recommended 5

5 Sterne sind das niemals. Frühstück immer das gleiche. Kalt, abwechslungsarm und nicht mal showcooking. Getränke aus Automaten, Gebäck nicht frisch, nicht selbstgemacht,. Der Hammer ist aber das Abendessen. Es wird in Töpfen mit Deckeln bereitgestellt, wo jeder Gast jedesmal mit seinen Dreckhänden den Deckel öffnen müssen. Desenfiktion ist nicht möglich. Es fehlen Duschen für Füße und Körper nach dem Strand. So muss man da sandig durch die lobby. Wahnsinn, und das soll ein 5 Sterne hotel sein

Just came back from a 5 day stay at this hotel. Highly recommend. Clean and spacious room with a see view (113). Plus, its very close to the beach and easy accses even for buggies.

Resort was excellent. Staff could not have been more helpful. Only problem was at breakfast there should have been an area outside for smokers only. We sat outside for breakfast every morning and had to move because of the smoke. If they had an outside area for smokers only which would also allow non smokers to sit out in their own area then this would sort the problem out. Not much to ask for considering the size of the resort. Apart from that an excellent stay.

I travelled here out of season (the week before most UK schools broke for May half term) for a 5 night, self catering stay, in a one bedroom apartment with my boyfriend - We had a wonderful time! The resort is spacious, the beach is beautiful, the apartment we had was clean, extra-mile equipped, set slightly aback from the rest of the resort, so nice and quiet and with a separate pool. And for those who it matters to, the wifi works everywhere! Including the beach... The hotel staff were friendly and informative, the hotel, decor and layout was lovely. The only reason I have not given 5* is the quality of food that was on offer at dinner - Although self catering, we opted to eat in the hotel on the first night for convenience. The BBQ/buffet lunch was lovely, but the dinner was predominantly cold -as in majority cold options, and the hot food that was available was cold - the quality of food was also not very good, over cooked and a bit tasteless - not a good representation of the wonderful flavours that Portugal and the Algarve has to offer. I would absolutely visit again again out of season and self catered. Should I ever be travelling with children, then I would not hesitate to consider coming here with them.

Lovely hotel with a great restaurant and very helpful staff.
Stayed here for 5 days for a work training conference and the team here were very accommodating and friendly.
The restaurant here is very good, especially if you can do the seafood BBQ and the breakfast is also excellent.
Rooms are immaculately clean and modern and I had a great sea view, no complaints at all.

The hotel was beautiful with lots very views of the see, great food and very clean. Service let it down a little- when we arrived when I complained about access to our room being up and down stairs which was difficult baby and pram. As we had asked for a cot in our room, I just think that they should have used common sense and put us in a room on ground floor or with access to a lift. The only way around it was to pay more money for a room which we did. Also, once they wiped all table but not a filthy high chair. I think they are just set up for adults but not really children.

Experiência negativa, barulho horrível na piscina com música alta e os empregados não fizeram nada, hospedes a beber cerveja e a cuspir para o chão da piscina, recebem grupos estrangeiros sem qualquer critério de selecção, para isso ia para um hotel 2 estrelas e não um 5 estrelas, ar condicionado do quarto 123 faz barulho mas nao refresca nada, a porta de acesso do resort para a praia avariada, qualquer pessoa entra no resort sem control, não recomendo que levem crianças, os grupos admitidos pelo resort são do pior. Foi tão mau que a queixa vai seguir para a Entidade Reguladora devidamente documentada.

Profissionais simpáticos e prestaveis. Piscina muito boa, a das crianças tinha água morna. Pequeno almoço bastante completo. Já o quarto deixou a desejar para um hotel 5 estrelas.. banheira supostamente de hidromassagens mas não dava para fechar. Ar condicionado não funcionava. Mini bar vazio.

Absolutely fantastic place! We stayed in one of the studio apartments as self catering. Very clean and had everything we could need had we wanted to actually cook there. Blender, microwave, hob, fridge all cutlery and plates. Bottle openers whisks the works. The only place we ate was the atlantico and that was for a breakfast which was disappointing food wise (the view was amazing) Hotdog sausages do not count as sausages in an English breakfast! And for €8 a rip off, a 5 minute walk down the road brings you to lots of good restaurants that do a huge English breakfast for €5. The private beach was gorgeous and so so quiet.€10 go us 2 sun loungers and parasol all day. Will definitely visit there again.

Worst stay of my life!!!!!
Being used to 5 stars hotels this establishment is definitely not a 5 stars hotels.
How to describe my stay... My boyfriend and I were supposed to stay 2 nights but we only stayed 1 night.
As soon as you arrive within the resort you can see things who cannot belong to a 5 stars hotels.
The letters and stars of the hotel on the wall are rusty and about to fall, nor door man to great you neither people to help you with your luggage.
Staff doesn't provide the service and attention that you deserve when you book a 5 stars hotel.
If you choose half board you will receive a paper to have access to the restaurant (thing that I've never seen in a 5 stars hotel...)
To go to your room, you will have to go through a long dark and dirty corridor.
The carpet is smelly full of stains and biscuits paper.
Our room wasn't what we were expecting.
As soon as we entered, we've noticed that the bed was two single beds but we've asked for a king bed.
We went back to the reception to complain and they told us that they will fixed it for us.
We went back to our room, indeed we found a king bed but let me mentioned that they didn't change mattresses. They just but both mattresses together.
We were disappointed.
After this bad mattress experience, we found oily steps foot on the floor and hair and let me add MORE HAIR IN THE BATHROOM!!!!
It was not acceptable for us.
We choose a 5 stars hotels because we wanted a special treatment that we didn't received at all.
The main restaurant is totally and simply disgusting.
We were the only one inside.
Our chairs were greasy, table was shaking, curtains and walls full of stains and the food was cold blend without taste it was a buffet but the worst that I had in my life.
We were so disappointed so we decided to leave the next following morning.
We took photos of the dirt in the room and went to the reception to complain directly to the manager.
We cancelled our stay there and went to another hotel.
Leaving the hotel we met a woman who complained as well about the food.
If I can give you an advice SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL.
This hotel is maximum and I'm king by saying that a 3 stars hotel BUT DEFINETLY NOT A 5 STARS HOTEL.
THAT'S A LIE!!!!!

Hotel situado en una zona tranquila, con acceso directo a la playa de Santa Eulalia. Se puede ir andando al centro de la playa de Oura, donde hay variedad de restaurantes y tiendas, y a unos 7 minutos en coche del centro de la Albufeira. Servicio del personal fantástico. Instalaciones muy buenas. Habitaciones grandes. Parking gratuito. Servicio de toallas de playa incluido. Autobús gratuito a la Albufeira. Recomendable visitar el Spa y darse uno de sus tratamientos.

Wonderful Hotel...truly worth the 5 star rating ...good facilities.. good service ..super clean ... child friendly ....one down side for the spa ...adult have to pay to use the facilities and only for one hour ..paying no issue but one hour ...bit strange ...we booked one bedroom apartment and I have to admit we are surprised with the quality and size ...highly recommended...also the place offer private beach and 5 pools included

Das Hotel macht einen sehr schmuddligen Eindruck. Schon bei der Begrüßung an der Rezeption möchte man am liebsten wieder umdrehen.
Die Zimmer machen im ersten Moment einen sehr schlechten Eindruck. Die Wand hatte Flecken..Das Bett war schief und man rollte aus dem Bett. Die Matratze war überhaupt noch cht bequem. DIe Bettwäsche wurde nicht jeden Tag gewechselt. Das Zimmer war immer nach der Reinigung schmutzig. Es sind Insekten (Ameisen) aufgetaucht. Schlechte Gerüche im Zimmer. Der Balkon wurde nicht einmal saubergemacht.
Das Essen:
Insgesamt sehr schlecht. Jeden Tag lange Schlange vor dem Restaurant, warum ? kein freier Tisch. So was habe ich nie in einem Hotel gesehen . Für Wasser muss man extra bezahlen . Das Essen schmeckte nicht gut.Die Portionen viel zu klein.
Der Weg zum Strand war super und auch das einzigst positive an dem Hotel.
Beschwerden wenn man hatte, wurde man zunächst belächelt. Man schilderte das Problem. Dann wurde dagegen geredet und so dargestellt, als wäre da nichts. Erst wenn sich der Chef selbst davon überzeugt hat und man ihm gezeigt hat, was kaputt ist, kommt die Einsicht...
Die familiäre Stimmung im Hotel, die angeblich da sein soll, haben wir nicht gefunden.
Man merkt schnell, dass die Mitarbeiter sehr gelangweilt sind. Weniger von den Gästen als von der Stimmung untereinander. Die Kellner hatten keine Gelegenheit mal zu lachen, weil sie nur am hin und herfetzen waren. Aber sie waren sehr nett. Wenn man was von ihnen brauchte, dann erledigten sie es auch sofort.
Wir ware von dem Hotel sehr enttäuscht. Die schlechten Bewertungen sind richtig und können nur zustimmen.

Really nice resort for families with young kids. There is an all day kids club which runs many activities between 9-6, creative arts and craft etc. Age 3-12. Wonderful heated pool at the front of hotel. Perfectly warm in April even for the young kids. Direct access to a beautiful sandy beach. The beach really is perfect. Plenty of parking on site at the hotel too. At low tide you can take a nice walk to the next beach along the cliff side. The village Eulalia close by has lots of lovely shops and restaurants. The restaurants in the resort are slightly over priced and much better options lie within walking distance. The ATM at the resort charges 3.95euro each use. Yikes!!! There is a free ATM at Intermarché supermarket which is close by to the east of hotel.
Edit...Can't thank the staff enough for making our trip amazing. the reviews were very accurate. the staff on the front desk and the kids club staff especially deserve special mention. I've stayed in a few 5 star beach resorts and this is top of the pile. thank you again. :) Perfect.

From check-in to checkout every bit of our stay went well. This is 2nd time for us here after last year’s trip. We are already looking to come back again next year too. Very polite and friendly staff. Credit to the team. Breakfast has lot of choices too and so much fun for kids. We enjoyed our trip once again.

Stayed here with my partner and my 5 year old. Absolutely beautiful hotel, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean, great food (especially the burger bar and beach side cafe), stunning views, lots of pools, great alartments and everything you need for a holiday in this beautiful place. Lovely touch with the free shuttle to old town and new town too but also has great facilities of its own and in 10 minutes walking distance of local amenities, such as shops, restaurants and right on the beach. Absolutely stunning views. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for our next visit to albufeira.

Manque quelques produits essentiel dans les appartements tel que produit vaisselle, éponges, sel etc . Sinon rien à redire côté hygiène et services. Prêt de serviettes pour la piscine ou pour la plage. Personnel accueillant et aux petits soins. Hôtel bord de plage, C'est un plus ici.

Hotel com pouca qualidade !! paguei upgrade de single para duplo, o valor mais caro que paguei no Algarve, não tomei o pequeno almoço, causado pelo cãos instalado na sala, verdadeiramente surreal, um dos elevadores avariado enfim !!! nunca á responsáveis, fiquei prejudicado, mas em Portugal nunca se passa nada fica tudo no esquecimento, Portugal no seu melhor !!!

Stunning location!!
We were staying in a suite withing the hotel.
A few minor updates would make this place even better, but even if not made I still recommend it 100% for family, older couples and couples....everyone!!
Food was delicious and Mojitos are to die for! For those with kids they have English channels like CBeeBies (life saver).
Staff are friendly and helpful and always try and accommodate requests or issues.
Little tip: most trips can be booked through front desk..like ZooMarine and CrazyZoo.
Updates needed:
Movable Vanity mirror in toilet or full length mirror in rooms - was rough putting in contacts and makeup from such a distance.
Water in room each day as it's expensive at €3.50 to purchase each day and meal. Also glasses and simple tools like beer/wine opener all helpful.
When full or half board allow vouchers to be used in all restaurant locations on site. We were told this was the case @checkin but turns out not! Not a big deal as food delicious everywhere.but for those with kids dinner doesn't serve until 7pm, so that's quite late.
Again such small things but may make a difference
We will be back!!

We picked up this hotel as it looked like the right place to chill and relax. It proved our assumptions. Hotel is perfectly located on beach but not to far to city center, on top hotel has its shuttle service to the center. Kitchen in restaurant was very high quality, stuff in restaurant very kind and funny. SPA in the hotel amazingly clean, all design progressively futuristic but still keeping the relaxing and calming grooming.
Special thanks is to the staff (J.Cruz) at check in who helped us with room choice and gave us very nice tipps. With fun and constant smile on their faces!
We would definitely return to this beautiful place.

Prachtige accommodatie, alleen de appartementen met extra slaapkamer liggen achter het gebouw en hebben geen fraai uitzicht. Wel compleet en comfortabel ingericht: zowel in de woon- als in de slaapkamer tv bijvoorbeeld. 1e etage heeft een klein balkon zonder beschutting. Maar wij zijn in Lagos verwend waarschijnlijk....

Really weak and cheap coffee latte, i could say the worse latte i've ever had in portugual but the worse was the service and staff attitude in cafe. Whatever beautiful view, we were not deserved this kind of bad customer service from this hotel cafe. You could find a beautiful seaview on another side of town. Won't return.

Grand Real Santa Eulalia is a great hotel. This is the best hotel I have stayed in. There is a kids club all year at the hotel and elevators/lifts throughout the hotel floors. There is also 3 pools 2 heated 1 small one big and one not heated also some restraunts near the private beach they own. Superb!! Brilliant!! Marvellous!! The is super clean. I love it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✨✨✨✨✨

Stayed here for 5 nights. One of the best places I have stayed hotel fabulous. Staff amazing can't do enough for you. Had a spa experience was wonderful. Big shout out to our massaures ulieses and Debora they were amazing. Would highly recommend thus hotel...I would come back in a heart beat.

Das Hotel war gehobene Ausstattung, Pagenservice und Bestellung von Essen auf das Zimmer. Es gab auch viele Wellnessangebote, aber die habe ich wegen dem Preis nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Zugang zum Strand. Hier kann man romantische Abendspaziergänge machen. Einziger Nachteil war, dass die Speisekarte im eigenen Hotelrestaurant in der Nebensaison nur wenige Gerichte umfasste. Das Essen war zwar sehr gute Qualität, aber nach einer Woche Aufenthalt konnte man partout kein neues Essen mehr auf der Speicherkarte finden.

Spend weekend in early February. I was very excited about to use Thalasotherapy pool but..if you dont swim this is to deep. We have the same type pool in my town, and it is suitable for all, swimers and non swimers as it's 120cm deep. Overall hotel is good. I didn't tried food as we were to busy by exploring area before summer heat. Lived in 1 bedroom self catering appartment, 3 adults. Enough of space. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Great long weekend for daughters birthday. Surprise in their room of a birthday cake & bottle of champagne. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Fabulous hotel. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous food. Choice of restaurants. First class breakfast including champagne if you wanted it!

Guter Service. Sehr freundlich. Gutes Frühstücks-Buffet (leider an allen 3 Tagen das gleiche) und gutes Abend-Buffet (an allen 3 Abenden variiert). Bei 5Sternen ist zwar beim Essen noch "Luft nach oben" aber es gibt nix zu nörgeln. Atmosphäre in Lobby und Restaurant sehr angenehm. Zimmer sauber und ok, in unserem Zimmer wäre aber langsam ein Austausch der Badezimmerarmaturen und Hocker nötig gewesen. Die Betten sind sehr hart. Unangenehm aufgefallen sind uns die Betttücher und Laken aus Polyester unter denen man unangenehm schnell schwitzt.

Rooms were clean but towel change were erratic.Some days changed some not. Sometimes no mats or bidet towels left. One day no loo paper. No water left in rooms. Our outside patio area was almost on roadway in and people were walking across it to gain quicker access to their own apartments. Breakfeast was just ok. The bacon and sausage and scrambled eggs rotten. Also their bread selection of Wheaton or oat bread was nil. If you were later than 8.45am it was like a zoo. I found it hard to find a seat one morning as I went for a walk first..big mistake. They were setting up for lunch. Only the dregs left and they were not interested. No hotel entertainment on new years eve except for a nice fireworks display at midnight.

gentili sia all'interno che esternamente il popolo portoghese e piacevole e accogliente abbiamo viaggiato in gennaio le temperature ore centrali intorno ai 18/20 gradi molto piacevoli al sud al nord Lisbona un po più freddine

Hotel très agréable. Accès direct plage, spa calme. Point de depart de ballades sympas le long de l'océan. Ensemble du personnel très aimable et souriant. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Bref, séjour détente et serenite.

Na restauração dentro do hotel é mt bom, mas se nao estiver no seu pack é um pouco caro. Os bares de piscina estão todos fechados o que é pena para os turistas, principalmente o da vista para a praia. Bom ano pra todo o staff.

El hotel está sobrevalorado, las habitaciones no son de buena calidad ni demasiado espaciosas y tienen muy mala iluminación, la atención tampoco es la mejor. El internet es pésimo y lo más importante el hotel no tiene ningún tipo de servicio médico, es más , no hay ningún médico a menos de 30 min en coche. Lo cual es una vergüenza de decir para un hotel supuestamente catalogado como 5 estrellas

Wonderfully beautiful location.
The Hotel itself is a must stay place with extraordinary sea/cliff views and sunsets to wow you! There was nothing (well only one thing*) that could be improved upon: amazingly hospitable, helpful staff; delicious fresh food; comfortable accommodation and a fabulous location. Gorgeous, just gorgeous!
(*The 'gold' restaurant tables were very looking very "tired".)
Can't wait to stay again!

Supermooi hotel,lekker rustig,alles superschoon,fijne bedden(zagen heel veel recencies van te harde bedden maar zeker niet (meer)waar ),vriendelijk personeel en op loopafstand van het rustige centrum. Het drukke centrum(voor de jeugd) is wat verder weg,maar daar kwamen we niet voor. Ontbijt is geweldig en het uitzicht ook.Wij waren er in november.

Hotel elegante, muy bien decorado, personal muy amable. Buenas instalaciones. Habitaciones muy amplias. Ubicación perfecta. Acceso directo a la playa. Todas las instalaxiones muy limpias. Desayuno buffet muy completo, mucha variedad.
Contras.
Cama un poco dura.
Para la categoría del hotel que es, en la bañera no hay mampara de cristal, hay cortina de baño.
En la televisión, solo dos emisoras en español.
Si pagas con tarjeta al final de la estancia, como es de forma habitual, hacen un cargo previo que estiman ellos, te lo muestran en el checkout y firmas la nota de los gastos reales, si la cantidad es superior, deben devolver la diferencia pero no lo hacen de forma instantánea tardan algún tiempo.

Excelente atendimento, todo staf mostrou empenho e simpatia durante toda estadia.
A alimentação é de excelente qualidade, muito bem confecionada e com apresentação de encher o olho.
Condições e localização do empreendimento são muito boas, tendo acesso direto à praia (embora a não pudesse utilizar nesta época, é sempre relaxante e reconfortante ver e ouvir o mar).

We stayed 3 nights in a resort-facing suite in the main building. Can't fault the service and the room. Breakfast choices each day were quite similar, however you had a lot to choose from so you could try something different each day. The Santa Eulalia beach was one of the most beautiful beaches in Albufeira and was a 3 minute walk from the resort and it had direct access through a back gate. The free shuttle to the new town and old town was an added bonus as the location isn't great. However, the last bus was at 18:10 so you could take a taxi back, which was under €8

Very nice hotel and spa, very nice gym. Few things for old teenagers (16-20), and pools are very cold unless it's 30°+ C. Rooms are clean and comfortable, balcony is good, and room service is perfect. However, some items on the menus don't fully explain all the ingredients etc in them - creme brulee isn't meant to have nuts on it. A few new paths connecting the apartments to the main hotel wouldn't go amiss. Also, watch out for lizards, they are often around outside.

We stayed in one of the self catering apartments and it was nice. However, it would be nice to have access to a broom as over the days with access to the he beach, it does get sandy. The couches were old and dated but the beds were comfortable. Staff were all friendly.

Unbelievable spot.
This hotel is amazing. We visited in November and the staff were amazing, the hotel was amazing.
The breakfast is second to none. Well worth including in your stay.
The shuttle buses are a great help.
Would recommend anyone going if they are in the area. The bar is great, the Spa downstairs is amazing also.

Lovely hotel. The apartments are great very spacious and have everything you need in the kitchen. Staff are friendly and the cleaners are in every day and do a brilliant job. Fresh towels and bedding. I would definitely come back.

Excellent hotel. We went self catering in a studio apartment which was brilliant. Lovely room with big bathroom and great kitchen facilities. The actual hotel is beautiful and staff were lovely. It was out is season so quiet and not everything open but still had fab time. Free shuttle bus into town and within walking distance of new town. Next to lovely beach with private access to hotel. Big spa as well and treatments not too expensive. Would highly recommend and would go back there definitely.

Das Resort ist gut gelegen, die Haupthalle sehr übersichtlich. Der Spa Bereich klein, die 2 Staunen waren nicht im Betrieb. Restaurants und sonstiges relativ teuer, bis zu teuer. Wir verbrachten 5 Tage in einem Apartment [mit Wohn-und Schlafzimmer]. Die Einrichtung sehr spartanisch und uralt, sowie verschlissen. Uns sieht das Resort nicht ein zweites Mal, es gibt günstigere und deutlich schönere Anlagen.

Plusy: piękne położenie. Przy interesującej plaży z piaskiem i klifem. Większość budynków mieszkalnych jest oddalona od szosy, więc jest cicho. Wiele bezpłatnych odkrytych basenów na terenie obiektu. Jeden basen zewnętrzny odrobinę podgrzewany.
Dwupokojowe mieszkanie w bungalowie - czyste. W kuchni większość koniecznych sprzętów. Tarasik.
Korzystanie z fitness w cenie pokoju.
Parking bezpłatny na terenie obiektu.
Minusy: basen wewnętrzny wysoko płatny i wstęp na niego jest tylko dla dorosłych!
Byliśmy w tym hotelu zimą, pogoda nie pozwalała na kąpiel w lekko podgrzewanym basenie zewnętrznym, więc w sumie dziecko nigdzie nie mogło się wykąpać. Nie jest to dramat, ale gdy oczekuje się takiej atrakcji - rozczarowanie.

Superbe Hotel ! Etant dans un appartement deux chambre, c'était super! L'appartement est spacieux, mais manque de luminosité dans l'entrée et la salle de bain avec baignoire. Les piscines sont très agréables. Déception que le snack soit fermé et les autres restaurant aussi. Il aurait aussi fallut que une des grandes piscines soient chauffée car la petite ne suffit pas. Hormis cela, superbe hôtel, très très propre. Nous reviendrons!

Staff very friendly, room was very nice and clean, plus there is an indoor pool & gym as well as 3 outdoor pools. I had a sea view room and the view was exceptional. There are multiple restaurants, which I can't comment on as I had not paid them a visit, however I had breakfast each morning and there was a big variety of breads, fruits, croissants etc. Considering the hotel isn't very expensive I highly recommend it.

El hotel es para escapada y si quieres tranquilidad (relativa) busca una oferta de todo incluido así ni te mueves del hotel con una playa de arena dorada a sólo bajar una escalera.
Esta aislado de albufeira... Debes coger coche. Hay una zona más nueva un poco pero solo un poco ceca del hotel que es de restaurantes.
No le pongo las 5 estrella porwue es un enclave muy grande y las dependencias como piscinas y restaurantes los veo pequeños y se forman unas filas impresionantes. Los camareros hacen su trabajo muy bien.. Tanto quete quitan el plato de la mesa aún masticando la comida. Que en más de una ocasión le he tenido que decir que Porfavor retiraran cuando ya no esté en la mesa.
Ah!!! Del bufet de desayuno probar los froster potatoes.. Un pure hecho tortita y crujiente es lo mejor del hotel!!! Jajajaja
Otra cosa es el WiFi que no llega algunas habitaciones... Lo reports y te lo arreglan... No obstante se va y viene.
En definitiva es buen hotel y sus empleados tienen un trato también bueno

On arrival we went to check-in, we were greeted by a young man who seemed vaguely interested in giving us the information on the hotel, he barely made eye contact at all throughout the checking-in process. Once in our room we checked the fridge so as we could store a little fruit, it was warm inside, we complained to the relevant person and they sent out a maintenance person, he checked the fridge and said it was fine. We left the fridge for a day and once again complained that the fridge was not working. On the fourth day of our stay, that finally replaced the mini bar fridge and we now have a fridge that works. We also noticed that on returning from a day out that the room attendant had left out room door ajar, our room had been left open for a number of hours that day, we spoke to the hotel manager whom seemed less than interested, we explained that there were a few issues with our stay, he remained uninterested. On numerous occasions when visiting the restaurant, it has been chaotic, as though the hotel weren't ready to deal with the number of guests. The breakfast queue can often reach the top of the stairs in the lobby, making the line-up for breakfast a rather long wait.
The tap water in the hotel room is not potable, we tested it, yet the hotel does not provide complimentary bottled water, this I find shocking as most hotels across Europe and the USA provided botteldd water when the hotel water is not safe to drink.
How this hotel got it's 5th star is a mystery, at most this hotel is a four star. But still only really a three. We still have one more week of our stay and if any thing changes, I will update my review.

Stayed before many times. Beautiful location with a wonderful beach to stroll along. Internal décor is very tasteful and lots of open spaces. I would appreciate as a guest to have the bus service to and from the Old town available on weekend days also. The hotel is in quite a remote location and on arrival on Friday we had the service of the courtesy bus to and from the town. This service sadly stops at the weekend. I think it would encourage guests to return if the bus was available maybe just a couple of times each weekend day please

They have great service. The staff are really nice and easy to speak to.
The spa was great too.
The pools were pretty cold, in the summer they'd be hot, so didn't get to swim. The heated pool was hot enough during the day. They were clear and clean.
The place is clean, and gets cleaned every day which is amazing.

Отель требует реновации! Вода в бассейнах холоднющая, но к вечеру нагревается. Были в июле месяце. Океан тоже ледяной был, я так ни разу и не искупалась в нём. Хамство горничной просто убило напрочь. В первый день не поменяли халат. Сказали об этом на ресепшене, так в последующие дни нам каждый день оставляли по 2 халата, не меняли, а именно оставляли в дополнение к уже имеющимся. На 4ый день когда стопка халатов была уже приличная (9-10 шт) я застала горничную и сказала чтобы она не просто откладывала, а меняла халат если он использовался. Она (наглым тоном) ответила: "А , теперь мадам не нравится что халаты есть!" Я конечно обалдела,но объяснила ей "кто в доме хозяин ". Номера в отеле уже "подуставшие" на 5 звёзд явно не тянут. Just back from a week staying here and really enjoyed it. The hotel, grounds and local beach are beautiful and well kept, the main building lobby area with it's grand marble staircase is spectacular and the facilities are top notch.
The staff are warm and friendly, with plenty of help, advice and information on offer. The rooms are cleaned well and often and are bright, comfortable and well equipped. There are stores fairly local for supplies which we took advantage of as we were self catering. We ate at the in-house burger restaurant where the food and service were excellent.
There is a bus that stops right outside the reception entrance several times a day which offers free transport to the new town area and the old town, both of which have plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. We used Uber a lot to get around as there are plenty of drivers in the area.
Overall I would highly recommend staying here, especially as it's a great spot for visiting the surrounding areas in the central parts of the Algarve.

Just got back from a few days away at this gorgeous place, beautiful apartments, beautiful views with private access to the beach, great touch is the free bus to both old and new town, the on site restaurant by reception was lovely, had the most amazing hamburger (yes really) would recommend and would love to go back

Nice resort with plenty of swimming pools, close to the beach. Friendly and accomodating staff, spacious and clean apartments. They have a play pen for kids. Most of the woodwork needs maintenance and a good lick of paint though.

Great, clean, family friendly hotel, even the grounds staff greet you with an hello or a nod! Facilities are top notch, gym and spa on site and beach (immaculate) only a 2 minute walk away! Free shuttle bus into oldtown and Newtown daily. Nightly entertainment in the lobby. Only downside is you would need an engineering degree to figure out how to work the air-con!

Very pleasant way to relax. Lovely rooms, ours with a sea view. Good but not excellent food and good service. Very helpful reception staff and the room was well maintained. We were there for a folk music festival (Oct 2919) which was held in the grounds and in a large auditorium. It all went very well, a good sign of preparation. Most of my photos will be of music acts. I'm posting them for posterity.

Hotel excelente, ótima localização, beira da praia. Tivemos problemas na chegada com o ar condicionado do apto, mudamos para outro apto que tb estava com o ar funcionando mal. Felizmente conseguiram consertar esse e não tivemos de nos mudar novamente. O café da manhã é incrível, o melhor! O hotel tem piscinas e o serviço de todos os funcionários é impecável!

Lovely hotel and peaceful location. All the staff were very pleasant and professional and kindly drove us in the buggy as the appartment was further from reception. It would be better if hotel provided or had dispenser machine for appartment kitchen supplies like washing liquid. Also would prefer more light in bedroom as bit dark but overall nice 5 star in main hotel and more like 3/4 star appartments

Ich bin schon in vielen guten Hotels gewesen und kritisiere selten.In diesem Hotel hat mir ein bisschen das gefehlt, was ein 5Sterne Hotel ausmacht.Die Person am Empfang, die uns eingecheckt hat,war nicht sehr freundlich, ebenso einige der Servicekräfte im Poolrestaurant.Das Essen dort war auch mittelmäßig. Ein einfaches Essen kann durchaus schmackhaft sein.Auch die Cocktails waren schwach.Deshalb haben wir dann nur außerhalb des Hotels gegessen und getrunken.Am Strand mussten die Liegen bezahlt werden.Kenne ich so auch nichtu.s.w.Es fehlten einfach die vielen Kleinigkeiten, die ein gehobenes Hotel ausmachen.

Hotel overall was nice but perhaps somewhat cold and pretentious. They saying a “house does not make a home” without friendly honest hotel staff.
The approx 6ft dark haired 30 yr old man (should have got his name) that I dealt with smiled and presented me with fake charm and professionalism. I just landed from a CANADA and didn’t know the area so I wanted to stay one night and see if I liked the hotel and the area before I committed for the week. I explained this and he offered me a double the price versus online for the one night and said he could get me a better deal if I booked for the week. I explained and showed him online Priceline deal was far less for better ocean view room. After a few calls etc he said he would come close to matching on a different currency price. I said sure. I said if all is well, I would book for the week as discussed. He then told me they only had one other night available now a large group was coming in Monday?! Five minutes prior he had offered a week for a fake discount! Now suddenly no rooms because my rate was less than rack rate? Mmm..smells. After waiting a bit (4pm) to get the room ready I came back then another staff had to convince him to offer me the room key while the floor dried? Gladly checking out in the am I explained I’m going to Old Town and need transportation and he called me a taxi. I waited outside and I recalled the night before checking in he said there were regular complimentary hotel shuttles to Old Town. I went back in asked him to confirm shuttle and yes indeed one was leaving in 5 minutes. I asked him to cancel my taxi and off I happily went away from this smiling unhelpful person. He obviously puts profit ahead of client satisfaction and my guess is he was trained this way by this hotel. Run fast staying at much better Hotel in a Old Town on Ocean amazing staff and hotel.

Staff friendly and installations great. The only bad thing is only the kids pool on the main building was a little warm only one day. All the pools at the resort were cold and not heated, so if the weather is not hot the water is cold. Another thing is on arrival they inform to us somebody has rented the complete resort so we needed to left the premises on our check put day by 12. For us wasnt a problem we were leaving anyway to Lisbon that day but not sure about other guests at the complex who were expecting to enjoy the premises after check out.Beach was good though and the views amazing

Resort bellissimo ma molto deluso da reception, non è possibile che una struttura con circa 1000 persone non abbia una persona che parli almeno un po' di Italiano e perlomeno si sforzi di capire un cliente che ti porta i soldi.
L unica persona che si è sforzata a capirci un po' e stata la Sig.ra Ines (credo di aver capito sia la responsabile).
La risposta della reception e stata, siete in pochi ! Però i soldi li prendete!
P/s , in tutto il Portogallo, perché abbiamo fatto anche un tour, taxisti, noleggio auto, ristoranti, negozi ecc.....ci siamo sforzati tutti a vicenda e ci siamo capiti tranquillamente.
Unico posto che non ci capivamo alla reception del grande Real hotel santa eulalia. Vergogna!!

I dont mind kids enjoying themselves and laughing loud etc

Strange that they call it 5 star hotel. It's not even close to 4 stars. For the first time in my life, during the summer holiday, we left the hotel after 2 days and didn't stay for a week that we booked. IT QUALIFIES AS THE WORST VACATION IN MY LIFE SO FAR. Where in the world you could spend 15 minutes in line, waiting to be seated at breakfast??? I have a video proof if you don't believe me.
The breakfast is mediocre, by the way.
The rooms are dated, with damaged furniture in need of upgrade.
The swimming pool is small and thus full of screaming little children - no room to swim. Normal 5-star hotel would have a separate shallow swimming pool for the little ones and the normal swimming pool for adults.
When we tried to get back the 100 euro for the massage that my wife booked (because we wanted to leave this place as soon as possible) the receptionist told us that he couldn't do that. My advice - don't pre-pay any service here - you won't get your money back!.
In august the beach was overcrowded and the ocean temperature was 17 degrees. Nice conditions for seals, but not for average humans.
There are many bungalows that this hotel rents to the tourists. These bungalows are next to the hotel. I suspect that people pay much less to stay at the bungalows than in the hotel. BUT! All the people from the bungalows have access to the hotel's facilities!! - this is why the hotel is overcrowded.
I suggest that the management of this hotel goes to any 5-star hotel in Miami, Cancun, Side, Viareggio, Nice, Marbella (or in their own country - like Avenida Palace in Lisbon) to learn how the 5-star hotel and service feels like. Upon arrival we were told by the receptionist that he is giving us a room for the disabled. We replied that we are not disabled and would like to have a normal room with a seaview like we booked, and after 15 minutes of waiting we finally got it. The prices at the restaurant are exorbitant comparing to the salary of the ordinary people in Portugal. In the menu you will see the price for the kilo of certain fish and prawns, lobster and squid. But what is the weight of one squid??? how many squids are in one portion? - you don't know in advance, don't you? Should I bring a calculator and weights to the restaurant to weigh the fish and calculate the price of one portion?
I could spend much more time describing how this hotel is not worth your money.
Simple advice: Go to Albufeira only if you like english breakfast at every corner, pubs with sky sports, drunken youth partying at multiple tourist-trap-places with karaoke, cold ocean water, restaurants with prices per kilo... and if you do go to Albufeira, avoid this hotel at all cost! Don't repeat our mistake.

Eine grosszügige Anlage mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Die Einrichtung ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen, gerade die Fugen im Bad sollten mal erneuert werden. Wir waren jetzt aber das zweite mal da, weil es trotzdem ein schönes Hotel ist und der Service im grossen und ganzen tiptop, man darf von den Servicemitarbeitern einfach nicht den selben Standard wie in der Schweiz erwarten, aber die Vorgesetzten machen einen sehr guten Job. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Estuvimos en Albufeira por las supuestas maravillosas playas y nos llevamos un chasco grande, pero si los días de estancia merecieron la pena fue gracias al servicio recibido por todos los trabajadores del hotel; camareros todos súper profesionales y agradables y recepcionistas igual. La comida del bufet estaba riquísima y todo lo tenían muy limpio y organizado. Por no hablar del hotel que es absolutamente precioso con unas vistas increíbles. La única pega que podría poner son las almohadas de las habitaciones que son un tanto incómodas. Por lo demás todo increíble. Repetiremos seguro!

1) o espaço do buffet do pequeno almoço é muito reduzido para tantas pessoas. O horário também é muito curto: termina apenas às 10:30h. Resultado: as pessoas empurram-se, passam à frente umas das outras, muita confusão, um stress enorme. Enfim, extremamente desagradável. Com muita frequência, faltam ovos estrelados e panquecas, sendo a reposição deficitária face à procura. Formam-se filas com, por vezes, 6 pessoas.
Como se isso não bastasse, quando passa a hora do fim do pequeno almoço, os empregados arrastam as cadeiras com muita força, não se preocupando com o barulho excessivo que provocam; muitas vezes fazem-no deliberadamente para provocar desconforto e mal estar nos clientes e assim, expulsá-los da zona do restaurante. Numa ocasião, eram 11:00 horas e um empregado, já com alguma idade, disse a outro, sabendo perfeitamente que estava a ser ouvido por clientes (nós) e que esses clientes eram Portugueses: "já são 11:00h, ouviste? ONZE" (dizendo com uma voz mais alta e mais lentamente).
2) Fui fazer o check-out do hotel, paguei o valor e disse que ainda tinha que ir ao quarto fazer as malas. Contudo, temos um bebé pequeno que entretanto começou a chorar sem parar. Resultado: atrasámo-nos uma hora face à hora do check-out, que era às 12:00h. Estávamos a acabar de fazer as malas quando, de repente, uma mulher funcionária do hotel entra no quarto, sem bater à porta, estando eu em tronco nu, a dizer de forma rude, áspera e mal educada que "tínhamos que sair dali porque eu já tinha feito o pagamento e já tinha passado uma hora das 12:00h". Fiquei completamente em choque e boquiaberto com a situação. A minha privacidade e intimidade bem como a privacidade e intimidade da minha Família foi completamente desrespeitada. Isto num hotel de 5 estrelas após 7 dias de estadia (!!) Em choque, sem conseguir dizer muito mais, disse-lhe que íamos sair em breve. Passados poucos minutos o telefone do quarto começa a tocar; atendo e um funcionário do hotel homem disse-me que eu tinha que sair imediatamente porque as pessoas que iriam ocupar o quarto a seguir já tinham chegado ao hotel. Era claramente mentira porque o check-in é apenas às 15:00h. Demonstrei o meu desagrado com o comportamento da funcionária mas o funcionário do hotel respondeu-me que "ela apenas tinha feito o seu trabalho" e que eu "tinha de sair do quarto imediatamente". Exaltei-me e desliguei o telefone. Passado uns momentos esse mesmo funcionário bateu à porta do quarto e, de forma agressiva, começou um bate-boca comigo a dizer, entre outras coisas: "o senhor já pagou, tem é que se ir embora." Inacreditável: após 7 dias de estadia em que sempre tratei bem toda a gente fui escorraçado, expulso, humilhado e mal tratado só por causa de uma hora de atraso no check-out. Tratou-se de um comportamento manifestamente desadequado, desnecessário e desproporcional. Como já tinha pago, já não era «cliente», já não era importante, já era um lixo que importava retirar do Hotel. Os funcionários, muitas vezes os mais velhos, não têm a formação adequada para um hotel de 5 estrelas.
3) as piscinas são muito pequenas para tanta gente.
Enfim: péssimo, horrível. Os factos relatados nos pontos 1) e, sobretudo, ponto 2) estragaram-me a experiência toda, que até estava a ser globalmente boa. Tenho pena porque alguns funcionários foram excelentes; outros, apenas bons. Contudo, há efetivamente algumas maçãs podres nos funcionários.

For the $200 we paid a night, you'd think that we wouldn't have had a broken toilet seat/broken shower drain. My husband had to pry the drain out himself. The pillows were horrible, they don't have any shape to them and were very uncomfortable to sleep on. The fridge isn't cold in the room. There weren't any amenities in the room other than soaps and instant drink mixes/tea pouches. There wasn't a coffee maker but there was a hot water pot.
Breakfast was poor. You'd think being on the coast and in Portugal that they'd offer at least a pickled fish, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail... Any type of seafood with breakfast. They offered powdered scrambled eggs, fake bacon, and the juices were from concentrate.
Any cocktails at the bar were very expensive and lacked alcohol. We walked down the street and purchased much stronger cocktails at a cheaper price.
The walls were very very thin. We stayed on the second floor and could hear everyone all the time.
While we were eating breakfast at 8 am, we watched many people walk out, throw their belongings on chairs and walk away for breakfast/etc. After we ate (9pm) we watched an entire family take up 5 chairs with their things. They didn't swim, they didn't eat. They didn't come back for the 3 hours we were poolside. It's very frustrating seeing all the seats taken all the time with very few people in the pool/in the chairs.
On the website they say the beach is right there, which it is. What's disappointing is that the hotel doesn't have their own chairs/umbrellas. We saw a bunch of people from the hotel, using the hotel towels, and laying them down on the chairs so we thought they were hotel owned. But someone came over and said it was going to be 10 euro for a couple of hours to use them. We already paid for the hotel because of the beach, it's ludicrous to have to pay an additional fee for two chairs on the beach, especially when all the chairs at the pool are claimed.

Хороший отель, твёрдая 4ка. Большая территория, отличный персонал, просторные бунгало, стабильно одинаковые завтраки. Восхитительный вид на океан, удобный пляж. Теперь к недостаткам. Это уборка. И питание на обед и ужин не впечатлило. Ужинать ходили в их же ресторан по меню на пляже, тут чудесное обслуживание (как раз на 5*) и вкуснейшая еда, особенно рыба, такой вкусной ни в одном ресторане Португалии не ела.

Vast 5* hotel right in front of a fabulous beach.The hotel rooms and bathrooms are faded and show wear and tear. The hotel group that owns this property really need to invest major financial funds to bring this nice hotel up to a proper 5*category. Breakfast is very good with great choice of food.Dinner at 30 euro is ridiculously expensive particularly in the middle of winter when the clientele is mainly mature people. Top marks to the excellent staff who deserve an award for the high level of service, in particular the reception people who are teriffic.

Un recinto muy agradable y tranquilo. El apartamento está muy completo, aunque con algunos desperfectos de pintura, nada importante. La animación del hotel está tan escondida que si no preguntas ni siquiera sabes si hay algo. No hay actividades muy atrayentes para los niños, y para los mayores igual, aunque hay actuaciones en directo, están en lugares que ni sabes que existen.

My best impression from the hotel was the staff, they were very polite and well trained. The rooms were big and comfortable. My family and I are veg, it seems like not many people are veg so there were barely any veg options, not even a pasta bar. They tried to accomodate us minimally. For meat eaters there was plenty. In the hotel, there were 2 small pools and they get crowded as well as the beach. The animation wasnt the best, more effort could have been put into organising activities.

Beautiful five star resort. A little lacking in evening entertainment but overall lovely stay and very helpful staff. Great variety of breakfast foods in the buffet and you could always ask the chef to make you omelettes to order in front of you instead of taking the fried eggs on offer.
We stayed in a fantastic resort view suite with two bathrooms and a separate living area room which could also be used as a bedroom- this was a great bonus!
There were several pools and many sunbeds free everytime we decided to visit the poolside and the atmosphere was great.
Kids club was okay, my eight year old enjoyed visiting a few times.
Lovely sea views and access to beach was very convenient.
On site burger restaurant was on the pricey side but we arrived in the evening and this was convenient but be aware that you can always order in pizza for half the price, which we did one night. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis.
Lovely hotel would recommend.

We are here in the resort for the 7th time. And we still are surprised how nice, politefull, friendly and helpfull the staff is here. For us is like coming home After being a longtime away. The beach was perfect for me--small waves and quiet. The apartments are further from the beach than the standard rooms. Housekeeping will clean your dishes for you The buffet was delicious and there is also good food at the beach cafe. The beach front seafood restaurant was great. There are plenty of live music events. The hotel caters to families. Its ok if you are traveling with friends but its not really good for couples. Bring your own beach towel. The hotel towels are too small.

A localização do hotel é perfeita, staff profissional e muito prestável, óptimos serviços pequeno almoço dentro do habitual, único ponto a salientar de negativo a carpete de acesso aos quartos deixa já muito a desejar já merecia uma remodelação e modernização.

Bom Alojamento e profissionais dedicados e amáveis. Localizado em zona de excelência (sobre a praia da falésia) reune todas as condições para se disfrutar de umas boas ferias ou escapadinha. Estando perfeitamente enquadrado com os enúmeros espaços verdes predominantes e espécies de aves, que o distingue dos demais, nao se compreende porque motivo pudemos verificar a retirada varios ninhos ( quica de de andorinha) destruídos e espalhados no parqueamento.

The grounds are beautiful, staff friendly and helpful. Great location but the quality of rooms let's it down - these are not 5* hotel rooms, more like 3*. Room decor tired and have issue with insects like ants etc.
Hotel restaurant/bar prices however are 5*. Buffet dinner at 32 euro per person is IMO an overkill.

Hôtel très bien placé, en bord de mer et proche de la Ville d'Albufeira. Personnel très accueillant et serviable, très bon buffet avec beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner. Un magnifique séjour chez vous ! Il y a trois piscines des bars et restaurants sur place. Beaucoup de place de parking pour les véhicules plus un garage. Les chambres sont un peu vieillissantes ( vieux mobilier ) mais très bien équipée avec des grandes pièces.

Para um hotel 5 estrelas, deixou a desejar com meus pedidos. Paguei a mais para ficar em um apartamento com vista para o mar. Quando cheguei no hotel, fiquei no andar subsolo, e quase não se via o mar. Pedi para trocar de quarto, mas não fui atendida, com a justificativa de hotel lotado.
Fui pedir no bar do hotel um balde de gelo para levar para meu quarto e me deram 2 copos plásticos com gelo e ainda achando ruim... atividades para adultos , quase todas precisando pagar.... recepção do hotel bem atenciosa e café da manhã, ótimo .

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans ce très bel hôtel. Nous avons réservé un appartement nous avons une vue sur la piscine. Il y a plusieurs piscines mais elles ne sont pas chauffées. Nous avons été très bien reçus par Jérome Fernandes au niveau de la réception il parle très bien le français et nous a très bien conseillé tant au niveau des activités et des restaurants. L hotel est très bien situé, il y a un accès direct à la plage. Nous avons été visité la vieille ville dAlbufeira nous avons mangé dans un petit restaurant O Catriao prix super abordable et bonne cuisine avec spécialité portugaise (produits frais).
