great location and setting, but hotel neds a bit of updating, I know they have updated most of the rooms but the main restaurant needs an update as does the food. However the Buffet at dinner on Wednesdays I believe ? Its really good!

Beste hotel in onze 40 jarige ervaring

I stayed only few hours invited from someone that stay on the hotel. Was fantastic the environment of the swimming pool and the restaurant (near swimming pool). Expensive but impressive.

Very obliging and kind service. These guys know what customer experience means! Rooms might be a little bit old-fashioned with carpet and limited outlets close to the bed. However, the overall impression is great!

Perfect service but too formal and a bit sad. Far isolated and this could also be a god point. Had a Swedish massage and was awful for me with backache for several days after

What makes this place unique is the friendliness of the staff along with an incredible breakfast buffet just to name a few.

Very nice stay. Great breakfast and well located. Only area for improvement would be to modernise bedrooms.

The pictures don't do this hotel justice. It's not the most modern to look at and the rooms could do with a bit of superficial modernising. That being said, the rooms are very well maintained and in perfect condition. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive, especially at breakfast, around the pool and during the evening meals. We are foodies and were very happy with the quality and variety of food on offer. We had a different bottle of wine each night and a few glasses of the house white during the afternoon and they couldn't have been nicer. No nasty cheap wines here. The pool was nice and there was always plenty of sunbeds (in July). If you like spending most of your time at the beach then this place may not be for you. There is a tidal nature reserve between the hotel and the beach so you have at least a 10/15 min stroll from the hotel. All the Quinta do Lago golf courses are around 5 mins drive away and the hotel will drive you there and pick you up free of charge. We will be back.

The service and the staff are the best I have ever seen! Definitely deserves the award of one of the leading hotels of the world! Everything is amazing.

It was a very nice hotel and close to golf.We enjoyed everything except the dining optionswere very expensive and should have some affordable options.

As per my rating all aspects of the hotel were excellent - staff unbeliveably helpful - lovely banter with bar at nite time when in for a night cap - fantastic to go down to breakfast and be meet with happy and welcoming faces - need car

Bel emplacement quartier "smart" très grandes suites bien équipées, super spa (piscine intérieure chauffée, 2 jacuzzis, sauna et hammam en accès libre). Rien à redire à recommander sans hésitation.

Hotel com espaços lindíssimos. Maior linearidade nos preços, dos diversos serviços, seria uma melhor aposta de Marketing.

We are part of a Cycling trip and arrived today at this 5 hotel .. I added a star .. We were greeted by friendly personnel and shown where to park the bikes inside .. When we walked in to the reception you knew this was a classy place .. you be the judge of that with my Piks .. Then we headed to our rooms .. Large spacious rooms and lots of storage area .. view is incredible .. as you can see the ocean .. you also see the well kept grounds and are a short walk to a giant pool .. Private balcony for relaxation or ordering from a TOP restaurant on location so you can eat in the privacy of your balcony .. Recommend .. Nous avons arrivé en Vélo ajourd'hui .. Le hotess nous a indiqué ou allait Les Vélo ensuite on EST retourner a la reception .. Le hall d'entrée de ce hotel 5 est exceptionel .. a ce point si vous savez que vous avez bien choisi .. Des que a rentrer dans Notre chambre tu constate rapidement l'ampleur de cette chambre I'll a également Beaucoup d'espace de rangement .. la disposition Des meubles de Bois ajoite a cette experience .. Le balcon de style privé vous donné in excellente Vue sur la mer ainsi que le terrain qui est très bien entretenu .. la picine est grande et propre .. Le restaurant est exceptionel comme cette endroit .. regarder mes Photo et jugé par vous même .. Recommend

Arrived today as part of a cycling trip .. We were welcomed and shown where the bikes would go .. after we registered for our rooms .. Just how the hallway is decorated you know this is a classy place .. we got our room and it's big .. these are large rooms .. there is lottsa storage area also .. bathroom is great also .. the attention to detail is amazing .. we had a complimentary gift on our bed .. This place has a Pool bar as well as a regular bar .. There is a swimming pool also .. Restaurant on site as well .. Recommend Nous avons arrivé ici aujourd'hui .. a notre arrivé on a pu storé nos velos a un endroit securitaire .. une fois enrigistré nous avons entrée dans Notre chambre .. ici Les chambre sont grande .. il y a également Beaucoup d'espace de rangement .. le balcon est très privé et grand .. Sur Les lieux on retrouve resto de qualité .. picine et bar .. Recommend

Excellent staff, very professional and nothing too much trouble, very thoughtful, excellent food and good amenities. Surrounded by 4 good courses and staff happy to drop off and pick up at any time. Excellent bar after dinner and great piano players. Highly recommended!

Over priced and over rated with poor management, dated rooms and overall very unsatisfactory. Not even close to a 5 star experience which I expect when paying over 500 euro per night.

Very good place to stay. What we liked most, was the team here. All people working we encountered, did more than just their job. Awesome stay, thanks to everyone.

The room was warn down, very old fashioned, dirty carpets and not at all what you expect from a 5 star hotel at the top end of the price range.

Food was only disappointing element - we tried a few different places and they were all pretty average and therefore not value for money as they were all priced similarly.

Everything was great, we had a really good time here. A little far from the marina and there's a long walk to the beach. Wish the gym was a little newer and bigger. The views are excellent and breakfast is great! Would definitely stay again.

Exellent service , friendly staff, food is pricy but delicious, a extremely well maintained hotel with a truly heated pool, A fantastic kids club. It is an expensive hotel so be prepared but definitely worth it !! I will definitely be returning !!

Food and other services can be slow to come out but rent a town house I did and you get full access everywhere and luxery houses and tge townhouse I stayed in was better than my own home

Great hotel, but a bit pricey in the current economic situation. On previous visits the hotel was usually quite full. However in gorgeous May weather, it was no more than 20% occupied, which is a pity given the quality and service levels. Nevertheless an excellent experience overall in a lovely hotel.
