Hotel in a great location - right in the missle fo the lovely little town of Faro. Minutes walk from shops, bars and places to eat in the heart of the old town. We would go back, an din fact extended our stay after we arrived. Cold Buffet breakfast was good. The bar wasnt very good but no matter as plenty of great places to go near hotel. Very comfortable beds. Engagement from reception could be better

Centrale et très propre... le petit-déjeuner était copieux et qualitatif avec spécialités portugaises !
La chambre fonctionnelle, la SDB quant à elle pas bien entretenue et avec problème d’évacuation des eaux de douche ...

This property needs updating.... our towels were all frayed (I mean every towel and all around them)!!!! So old! Gave us a bad impression.The front desk staff was either short on knowledge of the region or just unwilling to help us with information. They appeared to be constantly overwhelmed... not knowing what to do.

O quarto em que estive era pequeno, estava limpo e ajeitado. O hotel é localizado no centro da cidade, o que é ótimo, consegue-se fazer tudo a pé. Restaurante do hotel deixou a desejar, diz que é 24h mas quando fui pedir algo no meio da noite disse que a cozinha estava fechada. O banheiro estava com mofo nos azulejos e ferrugem no box. Falta frigobar e cofre. Achei o hotel caro perto do que oferecem.

El precio nos pareció excesivo para lo que es.
Buena ubicación. Cama cómoda. Desayuno original y bueno pero escaso en variedad. El hotel está reformado pero el baño no estaba limpio. Nos dieron una habitación que daba a la calle lateral, llena de palomas que no nos dejaron dormir.

En plein cœur de Faro, un hôtel sans prétention mais avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se détendre après avoir parcouru l'Algarve et ses beaux paysages. Le petit déjeuner composé de fruits frais, de pains et de gâteaux apporte l'énergie nécessaire. Bref just what you need

Hotel looks nice and modern. But rooms are very small and hairdryer in our room stopped working during blow dry. It's not very nice if you need to leave hotel with wet hair!

Zunächst das Positive: Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Stadt, die Klimaanlage funktioniert (was man leider auch deutlich hört) und das Personal ist bemüht Englisch zu sprechen.
Mehr als zwei Sterne kann ich aber nicht vergeben, denn ich hatte etwas mehr erwartet. Der Spalt unterhalb und seitlich der Zimmertür ist so groß, dass nicht nur nachts das Licht vom Flur ins Zimmer fällt, man kann auch problemlos jedem Gespräch auf dem Gang folgen.
Da Bilder mehr als Worte sagen, lasse ich die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer für sich sprechen.
Es gibt zwar einen Wasserkocher, allerdings in den drei Tagen in denen ich hier war nicht ein einziges Mal Kaffee dazu.
Im recht kleinen Bad sollten die schimmeligen Silikonfugen dringend erneuert werden.
Ob die Putzfrau den Mülleimer auf dem Zimmer leert oder ob es eine Flasche Wasser gibt, hängt von ihrer Laune ab.
Das Frühstück ist mit acht Euro pro Person zwar recht preiswert aber fällt dem entsprechend karg aus. Hier bieten die umliegenden Kaffees oder McDonald’s eine bessere Alternative.

Das Personal, bis auf das Reinigungsteam, waren unterste Schublade. Man hätte das Gefühl die "nette" Dame an der Rezeption mit der bloßen Anwesenheit zu stören. An Unfreundlichkeit fast nicht zu toppen. Das Zimmer war sauber aber einiges war reparaturbedürftig wie z.B. das Fenster und die Dusche. Mein Tip: Lieber ein paar Euro mehr für ein vernünftiges Hotel ausgeben oder eine Pension mieten, von denen es in Faro etliche gibt.

Stay Faro is a really well-kept budget hotel, that's close to the city centre, and perfect if you're staying overnight, or even for a few days. It's about a 10-minute walk to the train station (which we had to be close too to get to the train the next morning to Lisbon). They didn't have a fridge in the room we were staying in, which would have been nice (as we had breakfast for the next day), but it didn't ruin the experience at all. The staff were lovely as well, and they held our bags after we checked out for about 10 hours. They have breakfast downstairs, but we didn't eat there as we were off to Lisbon at 5 am. It's also a 2-minute walk to the main street, and about a 6-minute walk to the wharf. I'd recommend to anyone needing a budget stay, as that's what it is.

Conocemos la cadena Stay, porque hemos dormido en Évora y Guimaraes. Llegamos a la puerta del hotel, sin reserva. Tenían habitación libre, pero nos la negaro porque íbamos en bicicleta y no tienen espacio para dejar la bici. Es un poco extraño que un hotel no disponga de espacio para una bici (tándem), porque yo en el salón de mi casa guardo el tándem, un kayaksurf, una bici, un reloj de pared, una guitarra, y un televisor... entre otros bienes muebles. Cuestión de perspectivas.

Central location was the only positive note with this hotelThe negatives include unwelcoming staff, wanting to charge €15 for early check in even though the room was ready and we arrived an hour before check in. There was a smell in the room and dirty showers. We booked in for two nights but decided to check out after 1 night and went to Albufeira instead.Overall opinion is to avoid staying this hotel.

Doskonale!!!! Polecam hotel każdemu. Lokalizacja najlepsza z możliwych. Wszędzie blisko. Odległość niewielkigo spaceru z dworca. Hotel butikowy i takie też śniadanie. Nie ma mieszanych sałatek i jajecznicy, ale nikt nie wyjdzie głodny. Nic więcej nie trzeba. CZYSTO, bardzo miło, obsługa doskonała. Niektóre pokoje większe niż standardowe i nam się taki trafił. Widok z okna - jak się trafi, ale lepiej wyjść z hotelu i zrelaksować się w Faro!! Z czystym sercem polecam.

The rooms are very small and smelly. You cannot open any door in this room. You cannot sit on the toilet because you hit the shower door. There is a closet in the room but you cannot open it... and so on ☹️

This hotel was nice and clean but room 302 was an absolute nightmare. The bathroom was extremely small. The toilet was pretty much touching the shower. The shower was disgusting. The door wouldnt close and the drain was plugged. Thus causing the shower to overflow and ended up on the ground. We tried to have them fix the problem, however, no one took care of this request. All they could do was apologize when we left. Our room never got cleaned after we requested it to be, and the front staff led us to a few restaurants that were closed. The hotel is in a good are, but we just had the worst experience with our room

Very competitive prices and clean rooms. Centrally located and parking nearby is available (although it is public parking). I booked at shirt notice but they were very accommodating and good wifi available free of charge in the rooms.

Les plus : hotel très bien situé, à deux pas de tout. Bonne literie, chambre bien insonorisée. Bon petit déjeuner jusqu’à midi.

Les moins :pas de re assort dans les chambres ( eau, thé, verres...) le ménage pas fait à plus de 16h cela plusieurs jours , demande de 2 petites serviettes supplémentaires 3 fois jamais satisfaites. Les fuites venant de l’étage supérieur dans la salle de bain qui soit disant devaient être réparées.... Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre ce qui a été fait sans problème.
Pas de frigo ni coffre fort dans les chambres
La moquette dans les couloirs est très tachée, traces de fuites anciennes et d’humidite dans les salles de bain. Prises mal placées ou inexistantes.
Le personnel est souriant mais quand nous avons voulu réserver un taxi la veille pour le soir du nouvel an, il nous a été répondu qu’ Il n’y en avait plus. Nous en avons cependant trouvé un au premier coup de téléphone que nous avons passé. De même quand nous avons demandé où se trouvait l’arret du bus gratuit pour le centre commercial (Temporaire certes mais en place depuis un mois environ), Ils nous ont dit qu’ils ne savaient pas alors que celui-ci se trouve finalement à l’angle de la rue, à 50m max.
Je précise que tout ceci s’est déroulé sur les 9 jours que nous avons passé à l’hôtel ce qui est un séjour relativement long.
En bref, hôtel très bien placé mais ne valant sûrement pas trois étoiles.

The price is right if you don't mind a smokey smelling roon, frayed towels, and limited hot water. The location slmostakes up for everything else. Skip the breakfast. The shop across the street is cheaper and much better.

I stayed at this hotel on an independent holiday of ten nights. I chose it for its central position and proximity to the bus station and the fact that I could walk to many of sights quite easily.
The hotel is basic, clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others as long as they didn't mind the small size of the rooms or the limited cupboard space.

In centro a Faro quindi la posizione é comodissima, sfortunatamente la camera singola era davvero fatta male e risultava piccola e scomoda. Tranne il letto che era buono. Il bagno parte negativa perche piccolo e dalle pareti della doccia usciva l'acqua allagando il pavimento... La colazione insomma,non delle migliori,nemmeno un cappuccino disponibile....

existem vários pontos positivos e também negativos nessa hospedagem um dos maiores pontos positivos e a localização fica realmente ao centro próximo a todos os pontos turísticos internos da cidade, a maior estrela da hospedagem é o café da manhã ou chamado pequeno-almoço, uma variedade grande de pães queijos e frutas sucos yogurte e etc. Já as acomodações do quarto não são lá essas coisas cumprem com o trivial mas os quartos são muito pequenos, eu diria até desconfortáveis devido ao tamanho,se você gosta de abrir a janela e ver alguma Vista esqueça você vai ver paredes e no máximo teto e telhados de Outras casas.

Throughout my 3 week vacation in Portugal i stayed in 5 different hotels; somehow Faro Stay was the most expensive and far from being the best value for money. The staff is nice, however the room felt a bit ... tired? The carpet seriously needs an update. No sockets next to bed. How am i supposed to charge my phone while checking it in bed? Faro itself didn’t amaze me either. It’s only ok, had i known, would have stayed longer in Portimao.

Instalaciones y personal bien. Limpieza mejorable (nos encontramos botes de champoo de huespedes previos). Información sobre la ciudad nula (nos remitieron a la oficina de turismo). Nos cambiaron la habitacion sin problemes porque olia a tabaco. La cama comoda. En resumen, bien solo para dormir en estancia corta y calidad-precio en límite bajo.

El lema del hotel es “just what you need” y no lo cumplen en absoluto, debido a lo incómodo de las camas demasiado finl el colchón y almohadas demasiado grandes y sin posibilidad de cambio. Imposible dormir. Además desactivan el AC por la noche.

Ottima posizione per il centro. Per il resto un 4 stelle senza cassaforte ne frigo bar in camera con il condizionatore rumoroso che non ti lasciava riposare. Il personale molto premuroso nel farti pagare il parcheggio 12€. Direttamente al parcheggio ne avremmo spese 9. Assolutamente non consigliato.

Very good location with some of the staff very helpful, however, the rooms were cold and humid with bad smell. Walls cracked and full of mold. Bath was getting clogged easily. Poor cleaning and intercontinental overpriced breakfast.

Tiene una ubicación muy buena en el centro de Faro. Es limpio y su equipo es profesional. No es nada especial pero está muy bien para lo que es. Aunque la decoración es reciente y bonita, el edificio da la impresión de ser antiguo. Por ejemplo, el aire acondicionado de la habitación no funcionaba.

Es un hotel que cumple todos los requisitos de limpieza y cuidados higiénicos, sin embargo hemos encontrado que el agua caliente de la ducha tarda excesivo tiempo en salir caliente sin conseguir demasiado bien tal objetivo. De igual manera, la iluminación de la habitación es escasa para cuando el sol no está ya.Cuenta con un gran ventanal pero cuando se retira el sol, las lámparas de noche y una bombilla pequeña de escasa potencia proporciona buen ambiente pero no se ve.El personal es atento El otro problema no tiene que ver con el hotel, es genérico para todo Portugal, no puedes entrar hasta pasadas las 14h que es incómodo y ni siquiera estás un día

There was a problem with the shower: first the reception (nice lady) tried to fix it, but we got another room. Good idea That's why I give/rate 5 stars.
The food in the morning was good. So our stay was all good! And this hotel location is behind a popular shopping/restaurants street, a walking distance to the Faro bus- and trainstation (bus goes to the airport/beach). This hotel is recommended

Nice bright hotel, fast and efficient check-in, though I had to change rooms due to broken fan heater (much needed in cooler evenings in November). This room change was arranged quickly by reception staff. They were very helpful and followed up to ensure I was happy. Breakfast was very good with long opening hours (6.30am - 12 noon). Room was cleaned daily, beds made and towels changed. Great shower too.

Great location in old town Faro. Great size room, amazingly comfy bed and pillows! Room (309) was a bit tatty, as in it didn’t look the cleanest, needed a repaint and a new carpet. Also thankful that I was able to get in the gap between the end of the sink vanity unit to use the toilet- inches at best! But we only used the room for sleeping and showering, so great value for money for our weekend break.

At the same rates you could find far better variants...
Since in course of our 2-week-tour around the country (October-November, 2019) we stayed with six hotels incl. this one I could clearly state the benefits and disadvantages of each one.
This hotel's strong sides are:
1) its location (in the very centre of Faro) - from where without problems and within minutes you are to achieve the old center, the embankment and good restaurants with cafes; and at the same time it's possible to find a place for parking your car close to your living space;
2) space dedicated to have breakfast (you are to be ready in advance that in Portugal in 95% of all hotels the eating area is very-very small :( - it's like in beautiful hotels in Prague with one clear difference... - there the number of rooms could be just 6-10; and in Portugal - 4-5-fold of that);
3) Wi-Fi functions less or more reliably.
And factually the list of benefits is exhaustive; all the rest concerning this "Stay"... is awful....
· The cleanness of common spaces and corridors is very arguable.
The carpeting and floor-mates are so old and dirty as if you were travelling by some time-machine...
The towels are not white but definitely grey and so thin that seem to signal to operations management many years!!! ago - it's high time to change us...
The personnel is so lazy and slow that you are to be afraid of disturbing their sleeping on the way... - just to receive the salt asked you are to remind them twice of your request...
You are not to have any variability or variety in course of your breakfasts - even the smallest breakfast in Greece would be three times as bigger as in this hotel (an do not expect breakfasts like in Spain, or, at least in Germany - forget about that from the very beginning :))...
And even if to compare with their colleagues from Stay, Coimbra... even this internal competition to be lost by these counterparts...
Only one thing that could improve your impressions - you are reliably to taste and try - immediately across the street, in front of your central gateway you could see the bakery where you could find a very good apple tartlet with cinnamon :)...
And finishing your two-week vacations (if you have an opportunity also to live, for example, in Lisboa Legendary Suites, Dom Dinis Marvao and Porto Coliseum) you are to understand that at the same rates!!! you would be able to really enjoy comfort, service and towels and not just factually to "stay" somewhere for your money.

We chose Stay Hotel as we needed somewhere central before an early flight from Faro and it was pretty perfect. Great location 10 minutes walk to train and airport bus station and close to the main shopping area and plenty of eateries to chose from. It’s an older hotel that has been recently renovated and the room and bathroom were bright, modern and comfortable - particularly comfortable bed! The staff were also very pleasant and gave me exactly the room I’d pre-requested. So ticked all my boxes and I’d happily use it again.

Stayed overnight in this hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room itself wasn't that good. Table lamp was broken, the base was completely off. The shower tray filled up with water and spilled out over the tray and onto the bathroom floor, creating an indoor pool. The twin beds were only seperated by the mattresses, the actual bedbase was bolted together so I was still sleeping into my friends face! The shower tray sealant needed to be removed, cleaned and resealed.

Sadly I can only give Stay Hotel in Faro a below average rating. There were positives but I am afraid the negatives outweigh them.
Firstly. Apparently this hotel has recently been refurbished. OK maybe I am wrong but filling in cracks in the tiling does not indicate refurbishment.
Secondly. The lighting in the room. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my life and many have had. Low level lighting in the room. Stay took it even further. One light in the entrance. That was it for the ceiling. There was one desk light and two bedside lights. I hadn't packed my night vision gear. The toilets though had two bright lights.... these managed to highlight the cracked/filled tiles.
The shower was dangerous. Randomly, whilst showering the temperature increased. Not slowly but suddenly was scalding hot. Then it went back to normal only to flash hot again. I like hot showers but this was lethal.
For the positives though. Location was ideal. Central to everything. The beds were, for me, extremely comfortable. This is a major plus. We arrived early but we're allowed to store our bags whilst vee mooched around Faro as they prepared our room. Finally 24hr desk. We checked out at about 6am. No problem. Handed our key over and said ciao. That was it.
So in conclusion. OK for a short stay if you don't mind dark rooms and lethal showers at a semi reasonable price.

O hotel e o quarto são agradáveis, o pessoal é muito simpático e cordial. A temperatura do duche vai de escaldar a fria e vice versa sem que ninguém lhe toque várias vezes durante o mesmo e a limpeza do wc é sofrível. A cama é boa e confortável e o pequeno almoço de qualidade e inovador, o sumo de laranja ao momento é sempre refrescante.

Herausragend sind die wirklich zentrale Lage des Hotels und die guten Schallschutzfenster. Erweiterungsfähig ist das Frühstücksangebot. Zum Beispiel gab es nur eine Käsesorte und eine Sorte Wurst, aber keinerlei Ei (weder gebraten oder Rührei, noch nicht einmal gekochte Eier, die ja bekanntlich sehr algerungsfähig sind ...)

Experiência a não repetir. O atendimento no check in lento e nada eficiente. No geral as instalações são muito fracas. Quartos a precisar de remodelação em especial a casa de banho. A banheira tinha bolor nos azulejos e nos cantos (bastante). A limpeza deixa muito a desejar. O pequeno almoço muito fraquinho na oferta e na qualidade. Em suma, o hotel não corresponde sequer a 3 estrelas e o preço é exurbitante tendo em conta os serviços que oferece. A única qualidade que lhe reconheço é a localização pois está no centro da cidade.

I would reccomend planning late check out before you arrive, we asked when we arrived first night and told it would be ok to check again nearer leaving (we arrived late night)
Then when asked we were told it couldn't be done even though we had been told otherwise at the desk.
Breakfast is simple but nice to have, and runs a bit later than most hotels I've ever been to.

En general, la habitación estaba sucia. La terraza totalmente inutilizable por la suciedad en suelos y sillas, llena de excrementos de paloma y los cristales muy sucios. La ducha se salía y tras usarla había que recoger el agua del suelo, además de tener moho en las juntas. Lo mejor, la cama y almohadas, muy cómodas.

Nous avons passé deux nuits à 10 jours d'intervalle dans cet établissement Établissement situé à 2 minutes à pied du centre de Faro, 5 minutes de la gare routière. Le personnel est disponible et accueillant.
Les chambres sont correctes. Seuls bémols l'hygiène la salle de bain était sale, cheveux dans la douche, trace de moississure au niveau des joints, brosse des WC sale et cassée.
Ensuite beaucoup de brut du fait de l'emplacement en centre ville et de la vue nocturne du quartier, passage des voitures. Bon c'est normal en ville, il faut être indulgent, en revanche pour l'hygiène c'est limite même un hôtel low cost doit être propre.

I thought I was getting a good deal for an overnight stay at 100 euro for 1 night twin bedroom in Faro. However, havung spent the night there I got a bad deal. I could have chosen a B & B for 80 euro and in hindsight should have. No breakfast was included in this price which I knew when booking so fair enough. When we arrived at the hotel at about 21.15 there was no staff in sight in the reception area or in the bfast area off the reception. Two speperate couples came through the main door and straight up into the lift. The hotel is obviously not very security conscious. After about 5 minutes a young receptionist came and looked after us. My main issue was the dripping noise from the toilet cistern and a droning noise every 40 seconds from behind the toilet all night long. Also a large outdoor fan outside our bedroom window, which looked out onto a yard, constantly humming all night long too. A towel in the bathroom was so tattered with rips on it it was hard to believe housekeeping would ignore this fact. I mentioned to the male receptionist on checking out the next morning the fact that I did not sleep with the noises. He apologised said he would look into it and bid me a good day.

Notre première constatation en ouvrant la porte de chambre était lhumidité intense et une odeur de renfermé. Le système dair climatisé coulait et arrête de fonctionné après environ 2h. Nous avons demandé une réparation, car un lac était entrain de se créer dans la chambre, mais personne est venu. Nous avions un doute vis-à-vis le nettoyage de la salle de bain, car les joints de douche étaient plein de moisissures. Mis à part lemplacement de lhôtel, je déconseille fortement cet établissement.

In unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen Wasserschaden im Bad sodass wir in ein neues umgezogen sind. Die Dame an der Rezeption war nicht besonders überraschst davon. Im zweiten Zimmer hatten wir dann einen Ausblick auf einen Zaun, was uns sehr an ein Gefängnis erinnert hat. Außerdem konnten wir das Fenster nicht öffnen, da es draußen so laut war aufgrund irgendwelcher Maschinen und im Zimmer war es so heiss. Gereinigt war unser Zimmer auch nicht wirklich. Aus der Dusche kam kaum Wasser, sodass Haare waschen nicht möglich war. Das Frühstück war nicht gut, es gab eine Sorte Wurst und Käse, ein bisschen Kuchen und Obst. Wir hatten mehrere Hotels während unserer Reise durch Portugal und das war eindeutig das schlechteste.

Me ha gustado mucho, la habitacion no es grande pero es acojedora muy bonita y coqueta, las camas ademas de grandes son muy cómodas, además la 101 tenia un pequeño balcon para salir a fumar o colgar toallas, tiene mucha luz natural. La limpieza era bastante correcta. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba y en la ducha se salia el agua. El desayuno lo mejor son los croasanes , las mermeladas y el zumo. Bastante buena la experiencia. Y la zona inmejorable con bastante aparcamiento cerca.

D'abord la photo principal sur tripadvisor ne correspond pas à la réalité, cet hotel ne ressemble pas à un ancien monastère.
L hotel est très bien situé par rapport au petit port, aux commerces, aux restaurants, à la vieille ville c'est un très bon point.
Pas de parking mais à 500m on a trouvé une petite rue gratuite (rue Soto Mayorà où nous avons systématiquement trouvé une place chaque soir pour nous garer durant toute la semaine de notre séjour.
L'hôtel est moyen mais ne m'attendant pas à du luxe je n'ai pas été choqué. La déco donne l'impression de ces petits hotels pas cher de ma jeunesse, j'avais l'impression de redevenir étudiant.
La chambre était petite mais avec une terrasse (nous étions au 5ème).
La moquette n'est pas épaisse et déjà vieillotte. Les draps étaient parfois un peu troués et le matelas est en mousse mais de bon support.
La salle de bain petite et vieillotte avec serviettes élimées.
La douche pas ultra clean
Très bons points en revanche pour le personnel sympa et serviables et pour le petit dejeuner copieux, à volonté et bon.
Bref, hotel qui fait le job pour le prix

The hotel was great for the price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was adequate and had all the amenities; the bed was a double bed and comfortable.I got a single room so I cant comment on other rooms, it was very small and did not have any natural light. The room did not use the space efficiently. Breakfast was not included so I had to pay an additional 8Euros, it was not worth it. Suggestion go around the corner and have breakfast at a cafe in the square.

Das Personal ist ok. Nicht sehr freundlich oder zuvorkommend. Es wurde mehrmlas vergessen frische Tücher im Zimmer zu deponieren.
Als wir ankamen erhielten wir ein Zimmer im zweitem Stock, in welchem es so schlimm stank das wir nach 1 Minute ein neues Zimmer verlangten. Die dusche war im Zimmer 206 also im ertsen Zimmer stark geschimmelt.
Wir erhielten eines der "guten" Zimmer. Es gab auch i diesem Zimmer 104 einen seltsahmen Geruch. Wir nahmen es so hin. Auch hier war das gabze Badzimmer mit Schimmel überzogen. EineSauerei.!
Zimmer sind mit Tepich bioden der nie gepuzt wirde.
Bitte diesen Ort meiden!!

El hotel es limpio y el personal muy agradable. Está en el centro al lado de todo lo que uno quiere ver. Sin embargo, al llegar me dieron una habitación al lado de la escalera y el ascensor. Para poder descansar, pedí otra habitación. La única que me pudieron ofrecer fue una donde el aire/calefacción no funcionaba. El hotel no estaba ni mucho menos lleno así que la única explicación que he encontrado a ello es que deben de tener un número limitado de habitaciones para empresas como Expedia y no necesariamente las mejores... Además, vino alguien a las 4 de la tarde a preguntarme si necesitaba algo en la habitación y cuando dije que no, se fueron sin hacer la habitación. Es un hotel práctico y que se esfuerza en dar un servicio agradable, pero tiene todavía cosas que mejorar.

Para terminar a noite em beleza a recepcionista antipática rude e muito mal educada fez questão de chamar a polícia por termos as motas paradas no parque reservado ao hotel, não esquecer que estavamos lá ospedados, o mais caricato é que a própria funcionária tinha lá o carro pessoal. É de lamentar quando se fala em crise e funcionários destes mal tratam os próprios clientes.

Einziger Wehrmutstropfen aus meiner Sicht ist das eher einfache Frühstücksangebot - man(n) wird zwar satt, aber ich habe ein paar Klassiker wie z.B. Spiegelei vermisst. Für ernährungsbewusste aber auf jeden Fall ein sehr gutes Angebot ;-)

Hotel was nice and clean maid service was a little sporadic.rooms all have air conditioning that works ,hairdryer and tv with some English speaking movie channels only needed for when it was raining heavily...No safe in the rooms and for some strange reason they supply one black and one chamomile tea bag in a city that seems consumed with Coffee consumption ....baggage room is secure and your bags are tagged but you MUST have your ticket to be able to collect them.....There is no courtesy/changing room and you have to vacate room at midday or you can pay €25 to keep your room till 3pm only if there is availability

Great service! I was a bit worried from the other reviews, but turned out to be amazing. Had a queen bed room, with a/c which is much needed in this hot weather.
Bathroom was a bit small due to the bidet but I don't expect huge bathrooms in most older European cities.
Breakfast (7 euros) includes freshly squeezed orange juice, a collection of pastries, ham, cheese, fruits, cereal, coffee, tea and/or espresso.
Wish I could stay here longer to explore the city and use this as our home base.
I also arrived late and sent them an email saying so. They replied very promptly.
Kudos to staff for their welcoming hospitality.

Wir waren als Gast im Stay Hotel Faro. Im Flur zu den Zimmern ließ die Sauberkeit zu Wünschen übrig. Der Gesamteindruck ließ mich eher an Ikea Hotel denken. Dusche und Bett waren gut. Die Toilette ist meiner Meinung nach schlecht aufgestellt. Direkt an der Dusche ohne zwischenraum. Ist eher beschwerlich. Auf ein Bidet hätte ich dann verzichtet und die Toilette mit Platz positioniert. Personal ist freundlich.

Leider werden die zimmer verkauft, obwohl in 14 Zimmern Klimaanlagen nicht funktuonieren. Leider hatten wir so ein Zimmer. Drausen waren es 36 grad und man riet uns nachts das Fenster zu öffnen. Leider kam dadurch überhaupt keine frische Luft. Denn die Fenster gehen zur einer stark befahrenen Straße. Wie laut die autos auf Kopfsteinpflaster sind weiß jeder. Es war ganze nacht nicht an Schlaf zu denken. Leider. Dadür waren die Betten sehr bequem. Zustand war den 3 Sternen entsprechend.

Die Zimmer sind sauber und nett eingerichtet. Die Einerzimmer sind sehr klein und eng. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig und das Restaurant hell und freundlich.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a long weekend, and it did not disappoint.Being one of the few hotels in Faro which offers reasonable rates, the hotel is conveniently situated just outside the Old Town and shopping area, meaning that all amenities and major sights are within walking distance. The hotel supplies a selection of toiletries and also a hair-dryer in the bathroom; the cleanliness of the room was good.There is some noise if you are facing the main road, as there are numerous bars and restaurants near by so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room higher up, or facing away from the road.

Damp on most of the walls, the room safe didn't work, the heater didn't work and the bath plug didn't work. Most of the staff weren't very helpful.

Dobre jedzenie, czysto, miła obsługa, świerzutkie ręczniki, mydełko, szampon, czasem brakuje suszarek do włosów, raz nie działała klimatyzacja, ale w październiku można otworzyć okno. Na zewnątrz cicho i spokojnie. Można wyjść na spacer, do knajpki... Polecam!

Solo me gusta la ubicación, el resto absolutamente todo es mejorable y mucho.
No hay mantenimiento y si piensas descansar en una de sus camas ( hablo por mi experiencia) ni de broma, imposible.

Excellent staff location cleanliness the comfort of the bed is better than mine at home which is really amazing as I did a lot of research on mine before it was purchased. Bottle of lovely drinking water, kettle and tea bags in room most important, given great information on things to do, looking forward to breakfast, will keep all you updated on the rest of the holiday as this the second day of our stay at Stay. Después de más de 6 horas de viaje para llegar a Faro, mi pareja y yo llegamos a la recepción de este hotel sólo para llevarnos la mayor sorpresa en los muchos viajes que hemos realizados. Nos habían cancelado la reserva que habíamos hecho hace 2 meses y por la cual nos quedaríamos en su hotel 6 noches. Así que de buenas a primeras estábamos en otro país, otra ciudad, sin lugar donde quedarnos. Y ¿Cómo fue el trato recibido ante esta circunstancia? Mala muy mala. Nada más llegar a la recepción del hotel nos comunican la cancelación de la reserva sin ni siquiera mirarnos a la cara y dando como explicación que según la política del hotel después de las 19:00 pueden cobrar la primera noche y al no poder realizar la operación, por un problema con la tarjeta, cancelaron la reserva de 6 noches que teníamos, dándosela a otro cliente y que no nos podíamos quedar en ese hotel porque estaba todo lleno. Toda esta primera explicación sin mirarnos a la cara y haciendo otras cosas en vez de intentar ayudar a unos clientes que necesitaban en ese momento toda la atención. Pedimos explicaciones de porque no nos avisaron con más antelación ya que nos enviaron un e-mail a las 19:15 cuando no pudieron cargar la primera noche (el dinero siempre por delante) para poder encontrar una solución, porque no verificaron la tarjeta días antes de la llegada si hay que pagar con antelación como hacen muchos otros hoteles, como no esperan más tiempo ante la mas que probable llegada de unos clientes que van a pasar 6 días en su hotel. Ante estas preguntas recibimos un trato como si estuviéramos mendigando, dando largas, lavándose las manos, que el problema lo teníamos que resolver con Booking y no con ellos, diciendo que la culpa era nuestra por no verificar la tarjeta. En ningún momento sentimos que el personal del hotel tuviera empatía con nosotros, más bien nos hicieron sentir que éramos un problema, un estorbo, que les daba igual que unos clientes de otro país con dos maletas no tuvieran sitio donde quedarse ya que la solución nos la dimos nosotros mismo buscando in extremis otro hotel al que le quedaba solo una habitación 200 euros más caro ya que ellos no hicieron nada por buscarnos donde quedarnos. En resumen un muy mal servicio recibido, y si queréis quedaros en este hotel, que no lo recomiendo, verificar que no haya problemas con la tarjetas porque os dejaran en la calle.

Haben nur eine Nacht wegen Rückflug am nächsten Tag verbracht. Gute zentrale Lage in Innenstadt, Zimmer war sauber.Für 6 Euro gab es ein sehr gutes Frühstück!Fahrt zum Flughafen mit Taxi 16 Euro.

Lite strul med hemresan. Väckning gjordes en ½ timma senare än beställd.Ingen taxi hade kommit som var utlovad.Ingen frukost fanns att tillgå trots att man lovat ordna det trots att vi måste åka innan frukosten normalt serverades.Vårt plan hem avgick från Faro redan klockan 0605 .Någon frukost han vi aldrig äta förrän vi kom till Lissabon där vi hade över 2 timmar för byte av plan. Flygbolaget bytte gate från angiven 16 till en ny nr 19 utan att meddela oss som satt vid gate 16 och väntade vilket gjorde att flera som skulle vidare liksom oss missade planet.Det tog oss hela dagen att få ordning på nya biljetter och skaffa oss hotellrum till dagen därpå vilket vi själva fick betala trots att det inte var vårt fel att vi missade planet.

No sé como se califican las tres estrellas en Portugal pero de 3 estrellas nada.Buffet horrible. habitación cochanbrosa, ruido, falta de comodidad,armarios roto, cisterna defectuosa, habitación superpequeña, colchón incómodo, almohadas delgadas.Wifi defectuoso.

Nice staff apart from hotel Manager nRoom very small,nHad money taken from my room, reported to police they told me this had happen before at this hotel, they said i would be better to book out as there where lots of better safer hotels in Faro. Stay my last night at Hotel Faro nThe Manager was most un helpfull he ask me why i had not put money in room safe, had to point out to him there was not one,
