Wir waren 2015 dort. Ein tolles Hotel. Das Essen und die Küche waren ausgezeichnet. Super nettes Personal. Rundum perfekt. Toller Pool und Außenanlage

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Verfügt über einen größeren Balkon. Eine Vorrichtung zum Wäsche aufhängen gibt es auch.
Im Bad fasziniert Regendusche und Bidet. Ein Vergrößerungsspiegel fehlt leider. Der Fön befindet sich im Schlafzimmer, im Schminktisch mit Spiegel. Wir haben auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank.
Die Hotelanlage ist in bester Ordnung. Fasziniert bin ich von der Garten-Anlage mit Teichen, Bachlauf, Wasserfall und Bepflanzung. Karpfen und eine große Wasserschildkröte gehören auch dazu. Sehr schön.
Auch hat man die Möglichkeit mitten im Garten die Sonnenliegen aufzustellen, abseits vom Trubel. Da komme ich gleich noch zu.
Zum Frühstück ist ein Highlight der frisch gepresste Orangensaft, den man sich leider vor der Türe im Schatten selbst erarbeiten muss. Ein wenig durchgefroren und mit klebrigen Händen geht es an das Buffet. Durchweg englisches Frühstück.
Das portugiesische Brot ist spitze.
Selbstgemachte Marmelade fehlt und die abgepackte Marmelade ist nicht genießbar.Der Kaffee schmeckt mir nicht. Irgendein süßer Instantkaffee.
Hervorzuheben ist das Obstbuffet.
Abends locken die besonderen Vorspeisen. Einmal gab es Sushi. Sehr lecker. Es war mein erster Urlaub, in dem ich so viel Nachtisch gegessen habe. Lecker. Alles im allem, brauchte ich nur Vorspeise und Nachtisch.
Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Man fühlte sich, wie unter guten Freunden. Sie waren auch unauffällig schnell in allem, nicht aufdringlich. Ein besonderes Lob, auch an die Reinigungskräfte.
Der SPA-Bereich ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Das Hotel ist auf englische Gäste ausgelegt, die weit über 60 Jahre sind und die ständige Animation/Unterhaltung suchen.
Tagsüber geht das schon sehr laut am Pool los, jeden Tag.
Aus dem Grund sind wir in den Garten geflüchtet.
Jeden Abend gibt es u.a. musikalisches Programm, in einer Lautstärke, dass man sich noch nicht einmal im Eingangsbereich zurück ziehen kann. Das ganze Spektakel geht bis weit nach 23:00 Uhr.
Wir sind auf unser Zimmer zum Spielen und zum Relexen geflüchtet. Eine Unterhaltung mit anderen Gästen war nicht möglich. Viel zu laut. Mehr als zu laut und wer will das jeden Abend sehen. Wir nicht, doch das englische Publikum schon.
Die Abende haben aus dem Grunde den Urlaub ein wenig getrübt.
Es waren keine Räumlichkeiten für Andersgesinnte da. Es blieb nur das eigene Schlafzimmer.

Amazing hotel! Breakfast as lovely. Def try their fresh orange juice and sangria's. The staff is very polite and helpful. Very close to the beach. Room was clean and spacious. Spa services were also good. Very nice vibe to the place.

This hotel and staff were amazing was a little unsure as was an older person's hotel but was actually a nice mix! The tui reps Natalie, Harry and kiera were so helpful and not over the top the rooms were great especially the junior suite! Housekeeping was spot on every day and nothing was to much trouble cannot fault anything about this place its amazing thanks for a Great week the Lockwood Family

Very nice hotel with fantastic ambience. The parking on site is free and the pool is amazing. Very kind and helpful staff. I wanted my boarding pass to be printed, so had sent a link to the hotel email and just after a minute, heard a knock on the door with the printouts.
Very tasty breakfast buffet as well, just needs to be more variable.

Ich bin erst seit gestern da. Das Hotel und die Anlage sind sehr schön und sauber. Das Essen ist auch sehr gut, nur einige Senhoras könnten freundlicher zu den zahlenden Gästen sein.

Everything was nice, the extra large bed, the room, the staff, the buffet, the location, the pool. This hotel is perfect for English speaking travels, as almost every guests are English. You can get breakfast and dinner package, and the hotel have meals for lunch. We loved the time spend here, and we may return, the price/quality was very good, you won't regret.

En general hotel con buena calidad y limpieza, empleados muy atentos y agradables. Lo único que me asombró que siendo dos personas en la habitación solo dieran una tarjeta de habitación y no proporcionan otra según ellos por problemas técnicos. Algo que siendo un hotel de tanta categoría es incomprensible e inaceptable.

Établissement tout simplement parfait :Chambre spacieuse, literie confortable, propreté impeccable. Le personnel est adorable.La piscine intérieur avec son jaccuzi est super !La piscine extérieure est très jolie (mais mériterait dêtre chauffée car leau était a 17 degré).Le petit déjeuner et le dîner étaient juste parfait. Il y avait énormément de choix.

We stood at the hotel for one week with breakfast and dinner. The hotel facility was tidy and neat. The personal was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately we had a really small room (there are just a few of this kind) which was not that comfortable as we expected. The buffet both for breakfast and for dinner was ok but only few varying and therefore boring and not country specific.

This is a first class hotel - the staff are amazing - the rooms are so so clean and lovely, nothing is too much trouble at this hotel - we had an amazing stay and didn’t want to leave. Only teeny tiny niggle is it’s their winter at the moment so the air con is set for that so we got a little warm in our room :) but they were very happy to look for a fan for me when I asked but I suppose it might have been nice to have had something on the welcome sheet about it but apart from that everything was outstanding and I honestly cannot rate this property high enough :)

Sehr gutes Vier-Sterne-Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhaeltnis. Schoene, geraeumige Zimmer mitguten Matratzen. Gutes Essen mit grosser Auswahl zum Fruehstuck und Abendessen. Halbpension sehr zu empfehlen. Schoene Aussenanlage mit Pool und Teichlandschaft. Mietwagen empfehlenswert.

Very nice hotel. Very clean nice breakfast. Staff friendly. Nice pool and spa. Centrally located. Temperatures control is set by the hotel accordingly to the weather in the room. Very nice garden and the pool area. There is a paid and free shuttle services. Jacuzzi was nice. Turkish bath needs to be little warmer. Breakfast and Dinner had lots of choices. Very friendly restaurant staff. Even reception.

Das Hotel entspricht wirklich 4 Sternen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber (wir hatten eine Standard suite) und werden täglich gründlich gereinigt. Das Essen ist gut. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat ein Gefühl, dass alle Mitarbeiter wissen was zu tun ist.

Hotel magnifique aussi bien intérieur comme extérieur. Personnel aux petits soins. Buffet du petit déjeuner et du soir avec beaucoup de choix et très bon. Chambre tres confortable. Seul bemol la piscine netait pas chauffée et leau etait trop froide pour sy baigner alors quon avait 25 degrés. Nous sommes entièrement satisfait de notre séjour . L'algarve est magnifique. Nous avons vraiment apprécié que l'hôtel soit réservé aux adultes

This hotel lived up to the reviews for cleanliness. It is a bit isolated transport wise, and unless you are driving, then you have to rely on taxis and/or the hotel's shuttle service that runs once a day into Albufeira (€6) and Vilamora (€10) return. Buses are 20 mins walk away but the scedule is very unreliable especially at weekends. Because it is so remote, there is very limited entertainment around, a few restaurants and no clubs etc. Had to rely on the hotel entertainment (which kinda reminded me of a 1 man band in the corner of the pub). Although the hotel is Adults only, I found it really is 'Couples' only. The age group is 50 and over. It is favoured by European holiday makers. I stayed for 3 night's, and it's was very uncomfortable. I felt so conspicuous being female aged 45, and staying alone. The buffet was the same for 2 nights. The staff were friendlier to the groups, but overall ok.

Superbe hôtel ! Un vrai quatre étoile ! Un accueil très sympathique à la réception, un environnement magnifique, les chambres très calmes, propres, le dîner et le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet bien garnis et variés.
Nous avons beaucoup appréciés le gentillesse du personnel, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre rencontre avec Philippe... (il parle parfaitement le français et bien d’autres langues) Notre regret n’avoir pas pu y séjourner plus longtemps...nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Personal äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Schönes Zimmer mit Eckbalkon und Blick zum Pool. Frühstücks - und Abendbüfett sind ausgezeichnet und in angenehmer Atmosphäre ohne Hektik. Pool außen und innen, große, sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Shuttle zum tollen Strand mit guten Wandermöglichkeiten.

Tem uns quartos grandes e modernos muito confortáveis. É um hotel para adultos. Dito assim ( dito por eles ) até soa estranho. Aposto que muita gente foi ao engano e tantos deixaram de ir mas este conceito ( mal explicado ) deve-se apenas a ser um hotel que apenas aceita casais com crianças maiores de 16 anos. A ideia é ter uma estadia ausente de gritos,correrias,choros. É um conceito. Fiquei em trabalho , não consegui perceber se funciona ou não.

Bequeme Zimmer, guter Service und wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Zum Strand kann man den gratis Shuttle nutzen oder ein paar Minuten gehen. Supermärkte sind auch in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Einziges Manko ist das allabendliche Programm. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.
Wer also Lust auf eine kinderlose Unterkunft hat und kein Problem damit hat Englisch zu sprechen, wird hier eine wirklich gute Zeit haben.

Единственное, в ванне принадлежности не дотягивают до 4*: два мыльца дешёвых, два малюсеньких геля, по два полотенца и кучка начатых рулонов туалетной бумаги.

What an excellent hotel this is. Set in beautiful grounds and central to all amenities. Staff are wonderful and can't do enough to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Never seen such a lovely display of food at both breakfast and dinner. If you can't find something you like amongst this enormous display of food then there is something good sadly wrong with you.
Will definitely be back for another stay.

- Schönes und modernes Hotel- Pool und Garten schön gestaltet- Tolle Poolbar - HappyHour zwischen 17 und 18 Uhr (allerdings nur für Bier und Sangria), aber täglich ein anderer Cocktail - "Cocktail of the day" für dann nur 5,-€- Keine Leute die bereits um 5 Uhr Morgens die Liegen reservieren! Sehr angenehm. Wir waren Ende August und du hast egal zu welcher Uhrzeit immer Liegen am Pool bekommen- Hotel fest in englischer Hand, somit waren auch die Animateure von TUI aus England, was uns aber nicht wirklich gestört hat. Waren alle sehr nett und nicht aufdringlich.- Abendprogramm war nicht kitschig - gute Musikacts... natürlich aus England ;-)- Frühstück und Abendbuffet war sehr gut. auch kurz vor Ende der Frühstückszeit (10:30) war immer noch alles ausreichend vorhanden und es wurde immer schnell aufgefüllt. Mit Prosecco am Morgen fängt der Tag einfach gut an :-)- Das kpl. Hotelpersonal war immer freundlich und aufmerksam- Strand ist zu Fuß zwar erreichbar, aber man braucht gute 20 Min. Hotel bietet aber einen Shuttle Service mit Kleinbussen an. Diese fahren auch in die nächst gelegenen Ortschaften. Aber zur Erkundung der Gegend sollte man sich definitiv einen Leihwagen buchen. Dies kann man direkt im Hotel vor Ort buchen.

Hotel precioso, personal de 10, desayuno, comida y cena muy buenos, y comodidad absoluta. Lo único es la hora de la cena que está adecuada para los ingleses, pero no es un problema. Está en una zona muy tranquila si lo que buscas es relax. La playa de Falesia está a 5 minutos en coche pero el hotel ofrece transporte gratuito. Para repetir.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of sunbeds, towels provided for sunbathing that can be exchanged for fresh ones every 2 days. Good quality food, some dishes bit too oily for my taste, but that's just a personal observation. Drink prices reasonable and good choice of cocktails, all named brand spirits. Would come back again.

Residence tranquillo e in ottima posizione. Le casette mi ricordavano incredibilmente la pubblicità di Carmencita e il caffè Lavazza. A due passi ristoranti, bar, negozi e supermercatino. Altri due passi e sei in un paradiso ineguagliabile: le falesie!!! Camminate memorabili su una spiaggia fantastica.

My 3rd visit, the Hotel never disappoints. The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the room, pool area, dining room extremely clean and the food is superb; plenty of variety, fish, meat, salads - the list is endless. I will be back again

Wir haben dieses Hotel für 10 Tage gebucht um im Wechsel zu entspannen und das Land zu erkunden. Die Lage ist gut, ein Auto zu empfehlen. Tagestouren nach Faro, Lago und viele kleine Örtchen sind in 30-60 Autominten zu erreichen.Das Personal ist freundlich, zahlreich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich und braucht den Vergleich mit einem 5-Sterne Haus nicht zu scheuen.Die Zimmer sehr groß, sauber und modern.Am Abend ist für Herren eine lange Hose Pflicht, was richtig ist. Das Publikum war international. Der Anteil der Engländer sehr hoch. Das Publikum im mittleren bis höherem Alter und sehr gepflegt.Die zurückhaltenden Animation am Abend und am Nachmittag war dann auch eher auf das englische Publikum ausgerichtet und hat uns nicht so sehr gefallen.Wer bei einem excellenten Service ausspannen möchte, ist hier richtig.

Der Strand ein optischer Traum und angenehme Temperaturen .
Die Lage etwas abseits vom Tourismus, aber alles erreichbar. Mit dem Bus nach Albufeira, mit einem Mietwagen mal abseits von Tourismusstätten und eine sehr gute geführte Inlandtour. Da wurde das typische portugiesische gezeigt, das kann selber so nicht finden.

The Gold Hotel Falesia is an excellent hotel. The rooms are modern, air conditioned with huge beds with a roomy shower and all mod cons. The entertainment is a bit cheesy and samey. The house duo Panache are very popular and hard working but could do with a change every now and again. They also ship an act in from elsewhere some nights and also have the reps perform on the other nights which tends to be a bit hit and miss. The food is good and offers a decent choice. The real ace in the hole with this place though is the whole staff who go out of their way to make you feel a part of the Falesia family and make the most of your holiday with them. Well worth a visit.

Bar con actuaciones en directo.
Desayuno buffet muy bueno,en un restaurante precioso.
No es muy barato,pero se pueden encontrar ofertas en días concretos.

Sehr schönes Hotel, schöne Anlage.Zimmer und Bad sehr schön/modern eingerichtet und auch sehr sauber.Schöner, großer Pool und sehr gepflegter Garten.Personal und Service ohne Beanstandung und so insgesamt durchaus weiterzuempfehlen.Allerdings liegt das Hotel etwas ungünstig – der Weg zum Strand führt entweder weit außen herum über die Straße oder auch relativ umständlich durch eine 5-Sterne-Anlage, die das Hotel sozusagen umzingelt.Überwiegend britisches Publikum, auf das auch das Unterhaltungsprogramm ausgerichtet ist. Leider wurden gleich früh, noch vor dem Frühstück, alle Liegen mit Handtüchern reserviert, wogegen das Hotelpersonal auch nichts unternommen hat.

An adults only hotel. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent showers. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice as was dinner. Restaurant staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Bar area had entertainment some evenings. Drink prices were reasonable with a happy hour each day. Lovely gardens and pool area. Checkin and checkout was fast and efficient. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. A car is useful to explore the area but not essential.

Warm, friendly greeting on arrival. All hotel facilities explained fully. Booked a junior suite. Room spacious, modern, very clean. Nice outlook. Complete with fruit, bottled water, bath robe & slippers. Restaurant staff very polite, friendly & attentive with ample choice of food to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Spa services excellent. Had two treatments.
Reported problems with (2) tv’s and safe were dealt with efficiently and quickly. Relaxing bar and evening entertainment. I travelled here alone and I had the relaxing four days needed.

After leaving a pre booked apartment through Another booking website, we found it extremely dirty and in bad repair. We did not stay and booked the Falésia Hotel through Hotel.com, We found it so suitable we extended our stay by four days. Great staff, very clean, great location and very quite.

Séjour parfait !
Accueil et personnel très agréable, propreté dans la chambre et dans l'hôtel au top, lit king size, vue sur la piscine, situation calme, jardins magnifiques, beaucoup de choix au petit-déjeuner, cocktails au bar de la piscine super bons. Je vous le conseille vivement !

Hotel solo adultos. Lo mejor para disfrutar de una estancia en pareja. Tranquilidad total. Hotel muy bien atendido por su personal, que es bastante atento y educado. Solo tiene desayuno y cenas. El bufete es fantástico bastante variado y con una calidad buenísima. La habitación que nos ofrecieron tenía plato ducha, ideal para PMR. Estaba recién reformada y era bastante acogedora y con una decoración actual. Lo único malo que nos encontramos fue que el agua de la piscina cubierta estaba bastante fría y el Jacuzzi era minúsculo y completo durante bastante tiempo por las mismas personas (aunque esto último más por el poco civismo de la gente que no tiene miramientos por los que esperan)

We had a 2 night stay at this hotel . The hotel was very nice and our room (junior suite) was very comfrotable and well fitted out. Breakfast, snack lunch and dinner were all good . The only issue we had was the noise from the entertainment. We were above the entertainment area and it was very noisey. We had to leave before 6.0am to catch an early flight and couldnt get to sleep. I think the hotel should ask if you are someone who the entertainment noise would affect. Many guests attended the entertainment and so it would not have affected them but it did mar our stay.

Cannot fault this TUI hotel. All the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive but totally unobtrusive they are there if you want them but blend into the background if you don't. You are literally looked after from the moment you check in to the moment you check out. The rooms have recently been refurbished in a clean contemporary style, the food deserves a special mention everything is cooked to perfection and you serve yourself so you get as little or as much as you want.

A lovely hotel with friendly hard working staff. The only negatives would be that people are up early to reserve sunbeds. The beds in the room seem to be the memory foam mattresses which did not help my backThe age range was 50+, however, it did make it a friendly atmosphere and everyone said hello.Quite a few shops and restaurants also within walking distance.

Brilliant location, really easy to get transport to vilamoura and albufiera new/old town. Falesia Beach is just a short walk away. Staff are brilliant, Daniel and Armen are a great laugh, very good customer service at the pool

Das Hotel ist absolut Spitze. Die Zimmer sind toll und sehr sauber, das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Service ebenfalls top! Auch das Essen kann man nur absolut lobend erwähnen, es fehlte nichts und schmeckte super. Die Lage ist ruhig aber trotzdem nicht völlig abgeschieden. Wir waren super zufrieden und würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen!!

Un petit bémol sur la qualité de la cuisine pour un quatre étoiles.... Ainsi que le "pique nique" préparé à la place du petit déjeuner car nous partions avant 8h...pas du tout à la hauteur d'un quatre étoiles.... Personnel très gentil et disponible.

My wife and I loved this hotel. Our number one priority when booking somewhere is the cleanliness, and we were not disappointed. The place was spotless!The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed them (all spoke very good English). The only disappointing thing would be when I asked the hotel to help me book a round of golf at Pine Cliffs (which is conveniently next door to the hotel!) I wasnt told about the twilight offer (which was about half price). Maybe thats not the staffs fault but its worth mentioning for any potential visitors.The hotel grounds were vast, and very well looked after. As well as the poolside area, there was a nice garden with sun loungers (along with a pond).One of our complaints would be that we asked for a room overlooking the pool and didnt get this. However, I put this down to the following: Our shuttle bus arrived at 12:30 and check-in was 14:00. The hotel receptionist tried his best to find us another room which was already serviced and ready for guests, and I guess hes probably just given us whatever room was available.The hotel also offers a cheap shuttle bus to the Old Town (6 Euros) and a free shuttle bus to the beach (which is only a short walk anyway).A large bottle of water was provided on arrival. It would have been a very nice touch by the hotel to supply guests with a bottle of water every day when the rooms were serviced - but thats just a personal opinion.We absolutely loved our first Adults Only hotel!

Fantastic staff so helpful and friendly nothing to much when asked food tasty and rooms were very clean towels changed every day pools were clean and plenty of pool activertys during day time night entertainment was very good only problem nothing much around hotel apart from beach with free beach crossings during day time just ask reception for ticket .we went all inclusive which was worth it just up grade when arrived september 2019 will certainly go back.

We have just returned from our holiday, and can honestly say that this was one of the best holidays we have had. This was our third visit to this hotel and we had a fantastic time. The entertainment staff was outstanding, food fantastic, and the hotel staff was lovely and helpful. The rooms are done to a very high standard and very comfortable. The location is very good and just a short walk to the beach through a near by hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel. Exellent

Gestern spät abends angetroffen. Auf dem Zimmer waren 2 reichhaltige Imbisse. Das Zimmer und der Balkon sowie die Dusche sehr großzügig. Heute morgen das Frühstück sehr gut. Die Poolanlage gepflegt . Freuen uns auf weitere Tage.

L'accoglienza è stata ineccepibile ed il personale è sempre cordiale e sollecito nel venire incontro all'esigenza del cliente.
La struttura ha una bella piscina esterna ed una interna molto rilassante.
Il ristorante offre portate sempre varie e tipiche del luogo, nonostante la massiccia presenza di ospiti stranieri (nota decisamente positiva contrariamente ad altre strutture di pari livello che servono pietanze prettamente internazionali, di gusto tedesco)

A very well run adults only hotel. Tui Gold standard. In a quiet residential area close to Falesia beach. Seems to attract the more mature age group. Full board option. No all inclusive available. Excellent friendly staff. Rooms and all areas kept very clean. Large pool with plenty sun loungers. A scattering of umbrellas. Nice gardens with ponds stocked with carp and a turtle.
Not much entertainment in the local area. Mostly hotel based. Shuttle bus available to Albufeira, Vilamoura etc.
Many guests return year after year.

Despite the fact that me and my husband, young honey-mooners in our late twenties, were the only young couple in the entire place surrounded by old retired people; that did not stop the place from absolutely charming us. The service is a 5 star service and the staff were so friendly, we were given a room upgrade, the dinner is top quality with a huge selection of seafood (and other foods) and it is SO worth including in the nightly price. The only negative part I would say is that the hotel doesn't have direct access to a beach, and although their shuttle bus can drop you at the beach at anytime during the day, but you have to pay 6 eur for half-day access or 12 euro for full-day access (unless you bring along your own umbrella).

We both thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days in the Falésia Hotel.
The staff were excellent where ever you went. Friendly and helpful.
Mention for Phillipe and Carlos in the dining room and the hard working Tui team.
The cleaning staff were great and we both had the Back, Neck and Shoulders massage. 30 minutes of delight in the Spa. Well worth the €35 each.
Our room (304) was what we asked for, high and pool view, and not above the nightly entertainment. We are both early birds so no late nights.
The decor of the room was nice and we loved the walk in shower, could stay in there for hours, although the main towels were small and could do with being larger and fluffier.
It would be great if they had a few more clothes hangers. That said if we all brought 5 out and left them behind there would soon be plenty.
The free Wi-Fi was great and a good quality TV if you wanted it.
We figured out all the lighting which had plenty of choices, including the middle of night ‘wee-wee’ lights. The switch nearest the bed switches on a small light under the bedside cabinet plus, at the same time, a soft light under the hand basin in the bathroom, so you can go for those middle of the nights toilet trips with the minimum of disturbance.
And I’m sure plenty of the guests, like us, have the odd trip to the loo in the night!
Yes the age range is generally 40+ which is something some of the younger ones may want to be aware of. Even us mature people were party animals once.
The meals got better with every night, plenty of variety, and tasty too. And something you don’t always get in hotels; decent cutlery!
If you get a chance walk down and along some of the beach. It’s lovely although there didn’t seem too many places away from the roads to walk. But that could just be us not exploring enough.
We will definitely go back at some point and look forward to it.

Went to check this hotel out for family who are staying in July. Hotel looks nicely decorated & good quality in lobby & front garden but WARNINGS: (1) Major building work in progress in next door Pine Cliffs throwing up dust & noisy; (2) rooms that have balconies facing entrance or building site would have rubbish views. Ask for rooms on sea view side.

Se o paraíso existe na terra, então no Falésia Hotel eu encontrei o paraíso. Já estive com a família ( adultos) em alguns hotéis 4 estrelas mas neste hotel eu arriscaria a dizer que é digno de um 5 estrelas.
Começando pela recepção , todos de uma simpatia e profissionalismo extremos. Depois o quarto. ..LINDO! Muito bem decorado, super limpo. As colaboradoras de limpeza super atenciosas e de uma amabilidade tocante. Refeições...autênticos manjares de deuses! Alimentação variadíssima, qualidade inigualável, colaboradores duma gentileza tal que nos faz sentir super felizes! Simplesmente obrigada a todos vós! Voltaremos com toda a certeza.

Das Hotel liegt (etwas versteckt) in der dritten Reihe (no-beach-location), ist umgeben von einem alten Baumbestand. Da angrenzende Gebäude/ Grundstücke/ Straßen hinreichend weit entfernt sind, ist die Anlage sehr ruhig. Die Anlage ist sauber /gepflegt. Der großzügige/ tiefe Indoorpool nebst (Indoor-)Jacuzzi (etwas kühl) liegen im Untergeschoss und haben einen etwas nüchternen Charme. Der Außenpool ist nicht beheizt (und wurde insoweit praktisch kaum genutzt - Aufenhalt Anfang 04/ 2018).Hervorzuheben sind einerseits das ausgesprochen freundliche und dabei erfreulich unaufdringliche Personal und andererseits das gastronomische Angebot: das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet ist gehobener Standard; das wirklich üppige, täglich wechselnde, ansprechend-vielseitige Dinner-Buffet läßt Halbpension als sehr gute Wahl erscheinen. Die Getränkepreise sind moderat.

Das Hotel ist umgeben von einem schönen Garten mit Pool, ist sehr ruhig gelegen, das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.Zum Strand hat man den Umweg durch das Pine Cliff Hotel zu nehmen. Das Essen ist im Hotel gut und günstig.Der Spa Bereich ist klein. Eine Sauna und eine bessere Belüftung des Poolbereiches wäre perfekt.

Das große Bett war leider etwas durchgelegen. Das Angebot am reichhaltigen Buffet wechselte täglich und war beim Abendessen geprägt von Fisch in allen Variationen und leckeren Desserts. Alles in allem ein solides Hotel, welches ich wieder besuchen würde.

We've been here before and the last time the rooms were tired and dated these have been updated as has the free wifi which is excellent. Unfortunately the food which last time was excellent has gone the other way, cold, tinned or powdered rather then fresh, poor restaurant service so far. Gutted. Hope it improves during the week and i can put the Falesia back on top.

Hôtel superbe, très qualitatif tant au niveau des prestations qu'à la qualité de service.
Le personnel est aux petits soins, disponible et très aimable.
Jamais nous eu l'impression de déranger (comme en Espagne par exemple).

Last minute booking and what a find! Staff are just wonderful. The small things such as the maid making our towels into animals put a smile on our faces....to distract us from the miserable weather. Coming in to the room and finding a bottle of champagne and two glasses with a note wishing me a happy birthday ( must of got that from my passport) Indoor pool was fab. Hot tub cold and steam room smelt awful. Never tried any spa treatments. Outdoor pool looked great but way to cold for that! Our room was a suite MASSIVE! Robes and slippers included. Small bottle of wine on arrival and some fresh fruit. Shower huge and very awakening.. Bed super king or bigger was the most cozy comfy bed... Large fridge in room. Patio. Cupboards which lit up on opening! A safe.. Maids every day and always a smile. Rooms spotless..Bar staff fun, friendly. Cocktails excellent from the wee barman with a big heart. Restaurant lovely... Plenty of choices...Food scrumptious... If we could of changed anything it would be : larger cups in room, British t-bags. The service in restaurant seemed to diminish the later we went as we found the staff to be to busy setting up for breakfast. Also no descriptions of the desserts which ment alot of waste! It's a fair bit away from everything but we hired a car which was delivered to the hotel so it wasn't a problem... but they have a shuttle bus. Also bus stops 100 yards with few bars and shops.

This is a very nice hotel and with a couple of tweaks could be even better. It seemed that some services were still being developed. We stayed at a quiet time when there were no Gold activities which suited us. Unfortunately the weather was not very kind to us which can obviously cloud our views. Restaurant was good but could be improved with more salad/starter choices. Bar was good,Emmanuel the bartender excellent. Indoor pool very good. The real excellence of this hotel is the staff. Extremely pleasant and friendly whilst maintaining a professional service throughout.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel mit standardmäßigen freundlich eingerichteten Zimmern.
Leider entsprach "seitlicher Meerblick" nicht unseren Wünschen weil das Meer nicht, dafür aber ein Dach zu sehen war. Der Zimmerwechsel wurde problemlos und freundlich durchgeführt. Blick in den Garten auf die Hotelgäste, naja. Immerhin konnte man besonders gut die Unart des morgendlichen Liegenreservierungswahns beobachten. Auch das abendliche umkleiden im Garten der Poolgäste muss ich nicht haben...
Das Frühstücksbuffett wäre top gewesen wenn es denn tatsächlich bis zum Frühstücksende vollständig gewesen wäre. Spätestens ab halb 10 wurde zB der grandiose, frisch aufgeschnittene portugiesische Schinken nicht mehr aufgefüllt.
Die abendlichen Speisen waren teils grade mal lauwarm und das Fleisch durchgängig trocken. Andere Speisen hingegen waren teils durchaus lecker. Highlight war auch hier, wie so oft, das Dessertangebot.
Die Lage ist dahingehend optimal als das sie ruhig auf einem Algarvetypischen Plateau liegt. Der Ortskern mit öffentlichem Strand und entsprechenden Souvenirläden und Gastroangeboten ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Auf dem Weg dorthin kehrten wir mehrfach in eine Taverne ein weil es dort den besten landestypischen Schinken zur, hauptsächlich in Südeuropa verwendeten, Futura Melone gibt.
Um den Hotelstrand zu erreichen sollte man fit sein... Aufgrund der Plateaulage ist dieser nämlich nur über 300 Stufen zu erreichen. Die "Treppe" windet sich quasi durch die Steilküste, bietet Ruhrplätze, ist gut ausgebaut, bietet grandiose Ausblicke auf Küste und Meer und ist durch Stege"entschärft". Wir zogen dennoch den anderen Zugang vor dessen Start von einer anderen Hotelanlage aus erreichbar ist. Weniger schön, dafür aber weniger Stufen die zum öffentlichen, gepflegten, breiten Strand gehören. Den gönnten wir uns trotz des längeren Weges mehrfach. Der Atlantik wer um diese Jahreszeit sehr ruhig. Man konnte also relativ weit raus schwimmen.
Den Blick aus der Schwimmerperspektive auf die grandiose Steilküste
sollten sich jeder GEÜBTE Schwimmer gönnen.
Das Hotelpool empfand ich als eher klein aber ausreichend für die Hotelgröße. Optisches Highlight war für mich die kleine Kapelle auf dem Gelände.
Auch empfehlenswert:
Küstenseitig führt ein gut begehbarer Pfad am Gelände vorbei. Der Pfad endet nahe eines kleinen Leuchtturms oberhalb des Ortes. Den Sonnenuntergang MUSS man gesehen haben!
Das Service-und Reinigungspersonal empfand ich als durchwegs freundlich bis sehr freundlich und recht aufmerksam und kompetent.
Der Hotelier (Geschäftsführer?) lies sich auch mehrfach blicken und wirkte hingegen immer griesgrämig.
Fazit: das Hotel entsprach mMn damals nicht dem hohen Sensimar Anspruch und wurde umgewandelt in ein TUI BLUE. Die mühsame Strandlage hindert uns an einem weiteren Aufenthalt.

El hotel es muy bonito. La suite junior está muy bien, amplia y reformada, con dos terrazas. Muy limpio, tiene unos jardines preciosos, la piscina exterior está en un sitio muy agradable. Hay también piscina interior y jacuzzi de uso gratuito. Teníamos media pensión y la comida muy rica y variada. Tiene un bar también muy agradable donde también se puede comer. Todo el personal muy muy atento y amable. En la habitación teníamos a la llegada fruta y una botellita de vino.

Hotel Falesia zrobił na mnie ogromne wrażenie. Cudowne niezapomniane spędzone chwile. Przesympatyczna obsługa całego hotelu. Pyszne jedzenie, czy to śniadanie, czy kolacja, każdy mógł znaleźć coś dla siebie. Bardzo dziękuję, całemu personelowi za mile spędzone chwile. Plaża, ocean, piękne okolice, dla mnie bajka. Mam nadzieję, że jeszcze tam wrócę.

Nous avons été surclassé en suite junior : effet waouh à l'ouverture de la porte ! Hotel rénové récemment. Hotel parfait en tout point : personnel disponible et attentionné, piscine intérieur/extérieur, jaccuzzi, superbe petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix !
Animation en soirée un peu bruyante jusque 23h (il faut penser à fermer la porte du couloir pour ne pas entendre le bruit depuis la chambre) La salle de bain un peu petite en proportion au reste de la chambre !

6th visit here in 3 years. 7th one booked for Easter! This is an adults only 4* hotel just 10 minutes walk or courtesy bus ride to a fantastically long sandy beach. Breakfast or Dinner and breakfast (both extensive buffets) are on offer to go with your room or mini suite (bigger room with seating area and extra TV). Tea / coffee, milk and kettle provided.
This hotel incrementally changes between our frequent visits, clearly responding to feedback from guests. Changes found so far include free use of fridge (previously chargeable unless stocked as minibar); iced water available at reception for weary travellers and guests and improved buffet options.
There is free wifi that reaches into some areas of the garden as well. 4G wireless coverage is also possible allowing tv addicts to use their UK data allowances to keep up to date with their programmes. (Be warned - A1 hour programme uses approx 600MB of data!) Turn wifi off if using 4G otherwise your apps will not work.
The hotel offers BBC1 BBC World and ITV1.
The hotel appears to have good access for wheelchairs with 2 lifts and step free access to most areas. Mini suites have two steps down from the bedroom to the seating area and balcony. A walk in shower exists in mini suites and perhaps other rooms.
Entertainment is provided by Tui (formerly Thomsons) reps in the evening in the lounge and occasionally throughout the day by the pool. The gardens are a haven of peace and quiet. It appears that the British are main visitors with others from France, Germany and the Netherlands.
There are a few local shops, supermarkets and bars within walking distance appropriate to a non resort hotel.

Excellent helpful staff, from reception to housekeeping and he bar staff. The hotel is in a quiet let location, great for relaxing. There are some good restaurants and bars nearby, including Hugo's Bar and the falesia Restaurant (not to be confused with the restaurant in the hotel).

Das Hotel Falesia bietet alles für den perfekten Urlaub. Das Abendbuffet ist abwechslungsreich und für jeden was dabei. Zum Strand ist es etwas zu laufen aber auch locker machbar. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Chambre très spacieuse..personnel très gentil...hotel calme...par contre et seul bémol cest pour aller à la plage à pied...le trajet est de 15 minutes et quand il fait chaud ...cest long même un quart dheure

A great hotel in beautiful surroundings, excellent bar and restaurant, very nice pool, and plenty of fish, and birds to watch in the grounds. A nice walk to the beach through the grounds of the neighbouring Sheraton Hotel, and a lovely very small village on the beach a little further away (20 minutes).

Attention aux surréservations !
Réservation effectuée en ligne par l'intermédiaire d'Expedia. L'hôtel n'a pas jugé bon d'aviser Expedia que toutes les chambres étaient déjà réservées. C'est seulement une fois arrivé à l'hôtel que l'on m'a informé de la situation. Sans autre forme de procès, j'ai été envoyé vers un autre hôtel en centre-ville, très différent du Falesia.
Je n'ai pas obtenu de remboursement ni de dédommagement digne de ce nom.

Very nice hotel with free transport to (what we found) the best beach. The location is pretty far from Albufeira so not a great hotel if you´re going for a party vacation. If on the other hand you want peace and comfort look no further ;) Close by are many restaurants and a few supermarkets.Tip: Go to the close by restaurant Tania´s and order the Picanhia ;D

Min man och jag bodde här 25 juni-2 juli 2013. Ett hotell för par och andra vuxna vänner. Ett hotell om du vill ha lugn och ro, ladda batterierna och komma hem utvilad och på gott humör. Kanske för smekmånad. Lite långt till klubbar om du är ute efter det, men inte oöverkommligt. Maten och servicen är helt suverän. Ett hotell som inte tillhör någon stor kedja, utan är familjeägt. 169 rum men känns familjärt. Smart konstruktion på hotellet, det känns aldrig stort. En underpar park med fyra trädgårsmästare som hela tiden jobba med att underhålla och förändra trädgården. Inga myggor alls då de har små mygglarvsätande fiskar i dammarna. Poolen stor och härlig, solsängar fanns i överflöd, man blir aldrig utan.Alltså en underbar semester där man blir bortsämd av en mycket serviceinriktad personal som inte känns påträngande.

Sehr saubers und gut gepflegetes Hotel. Gäste sind mehrheitlich 55+, deshalb auch sehr ruhiges und erholsames Umfeld. Innen- und Aussenbald, dadurch ganzjährige Möglichkeit zu baden. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig. WILAN funktioniert bestens, Parplatz ist gratis und die Verpflegung entspricht einem 4* Hotel. Ich war in den vergangenen 10 Jahren 4x in diesem Hotel. Immer und immer noch ein sicherer Wert, keine Altersspuren!

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, ganz tolles Hotel. Halbpension wirklich zu empfehlen, lediglich das Weinsortiment erscheint etwas überteuert in Relation zu Qualität.. Ansonsten wirklich gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
