Cette Hôtel ainsi que booking sont des voleurs ! Ils ont annulés mon séjour pour cause de Covid19 et refuse de me faire un avoir ou de me rembourser le prix du séjour, sachant qu'ils étaient fermés ! Booking et l'Hôtel se renvoi la balle ! Ne faites pas confiance ni a booking ni à cet hôtel de voleurs !

Good sized secure car park. Clean spacious rooms with balcony. Maid service every day. Beach towels provided. Plenty of sun beds and good sized(unheated) pool. Would be good to gave it heated in the future.Very well stocked pool bar and food can be ordered.Afternoon tea can be ordered.Excellent choice of breakfast hot and cold buffet items.Safe in room. Mini bar fridge in room.All staff very helpful and pleasant.Excellent choice of tv channels including sky sport bbc1-4 itv. Bbc2 ch 4 ch5 music films etc.Lovely bar area pool table. Taxis to Albufeira and Vilamoura can be ordered at the reception.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Very very quiet during the night.
A 3 star hotel that is very close to a 4.
The room is big, clean and is equipped with confortable bed, clean towels, also complimentary beach towels, mini bar, safe, tea and coffe station, balcony , bath and the most important part for me that im italian, they have a bidet.
There are 2 bars a big lounge area with couches and a tv, a pool table and a piano.
Breakfast is a classic continental.
This hotel is not far away from the most relaxing beach you can find in Albufeira. You do need a car or a scooter to move around. But you could use taxi.
Only pity is the pool a bit to small for the size of the hotel itself. But this didn't affect our holidays at all because as mentioned is very close to the beach.

Lovely hotel! It’s in a great location with a few shops, bars and restaurants around it. There’s also an excellent beach 10 min walk away.The hotel is so clean and ha lots of nice little touches to it. The room is excellent with everything you need. Bed is the best bit - I’m 6ft and can lie in it length and width ways!

Lovely pool, sun all day. Room is spotless. Towels provided to use at the pool or beach. Beach 10 min walk away. Bus stop is close by for vilamoura and Albufeira. Breakfast is reasonable. Our shower temp kept changing from hot to cold, but of a nuisance.

Lovely hotel, fresh and pleasant place to stay. Staff very friendly. The pool is a bit small and was expecting it to be heated so I could at least swim. Temperatures were 23° bit water was like 6°c...ovrally the hotel is a good go. Breakfast loved it

Lhotel est a proximite des restaurants, le personnel est tres souriant et tres serviable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est excellente. Le petit dejeuner est tres copieux. Les chambres donnant sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes pour celui qui a le sommeil leger.

Sehr kreativer Einrichtungsstil. Gemütlich.Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Einfallstrasse und bei geöffneten Fenster war es einfach zu laut. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof buchen.

This is definitely a place where I'd say don't judge a book my it's cover. Outside might not be as fancy or pretty on the outside as other local places but inside is amazing. Very courteous staff, very nice lounges and rooms, very clean. Free private parking and wifi. Breakfast is a sub par honestly which is the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Le personnel est gracieux, compétent, très accueillant et très disponible.L’établissement est extrêmement propre et spacieux. Les petits déjeuners sont uniques et exceptionnels. Très bien disposé et très proche de la côte, cet hôtel dispose d’un parking appréciable.

Un servicio excelente, la calidad humana siempre es valorable en la estadía. La limpieza genial. Ubicado a 1 hora caminando del centro de la Albuferia.
El bar con mesa para jugar billar Pool, piano, y bien ambiente.

Great area, nice hotel. Clean comfortable rooms, helpful staff, good price. Breakfast was well worth getting. I would definitely book with them again. Just bear in mind the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from adjoining rooms - you may want to take ear plugs. It didn’t affect the enjoyment of my stay however.

Si vous recherchez des vacances pour faire des randonnés, découvrir un côté authentique du Portugal non transformé par le tourisme, sans être trop loin des moyens de transports pour avoir l'occasion de visiter d'autres villes plus touristiques pendant votre séjour, il faut venir ici !
Olhos de Agua est une superbe ville, l'hôtel se situe à 15/20 minutes à pied de la plage et une compagnie de Bus nommé EVA passe juste à côté de l'hôtel. Ce bus passe régulièrement et vous permet d'aller à ALBUFEIRA, une ville très touristique avec une immense plage très animée le soir et la nuit. Il faut compter 2,50€ pour aller là bas depuis l'hotel en bus. Avec cette compagnie vous pourrez aussi aller près des plages où il y a les falaises et les grottes les plus connus. Il y a également un bus pour aller à Faro ! Vous pouvez aussi revenir en bus, les derniers passent vers 20h00.
L'hotel est hyper spacieux, moderne et propre. Le petit déjeuner est à tomber !
Bémol : ATTENTION si vous ne prenez pas une chambre en classe supérieur, l'hôtel ne vous garantit pas d'avoir une chambre avec un lit double, même pour les couples. Vous pouvez vous retrouver avec deux lits simples.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem hervorragenden Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und werden täglich komplett gereinigt. Es werden täglich Handtücher gewechselt. Badetücher für den hauseigenen Pool stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Rezeption ist immer besetzt und hilft bei allen Fragen und gibt Tipps, wo man zum Beispiel gut Essen gehen kann. Die Zimmer verfügen über WLAN sowie Klimaanlage und ein Parkplatz gehört mit zum Hotel.
Nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man einen kleinen Strand und kann dort auch in der Strandbar verweilen.
Alles in allem haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wieder hier her kommen. *****Sterne von mir.

Dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas mieux achalandé. cest surtout quils ne font pas le vrai café. La machine donne un café au lait détestable. Le lait de cette machine a aussi un mauvais goût. Dommage!! Et le café tout seul aussi!!!!

An absolute gem of a hotel. There is nothing budget about this place. Clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. They do a lovely breakfast. The pool is like the Arctic though. Even when it's been in the hot sun all day, it's cold enough to take your breath away. We'll be going back. The staff are truly lovely and can't do enough for you. I strongly suggest, you try the Indian reastaurant, about 100 yards down the road. WOW! We went back 3 times. Amazing

From the moment you arrive at the reception you feel that you a valued guest.The receptionists are a fantastic advertisement for the the hotel.They are so pleasant and willing to do anything to make you stay a memorable one.Special mention for Telma & Joanna. The hotel is spotlessly clean as are the rooms which are cleaned everyday , towels changed as required along with bedding.There is a mini bar in the room and a kettle plus coffee & tea.All the staff are so friendly and professional.There is a nice Bar area and the drinks are reasonably priced.The breakfast is served in a lovely dining room, there is a mixture of hot and cold food with plenty of variety.All in all a first class stay. We will be back !!!

I have stayed at the Velamar Hotel many times over the past 7/8 years, and seen many management and staff changes during that time. On the morning of checking out after my recent stay, I removed a bottle of still water from the mini-bar with the intention of making a cup of tea before leaving. However I noticed that the plastic seal on the neck of the bottle was broken, so I took the bottle down to reception and handed it to the lady receptionist explaining that that the bottled had previously been opened, but not by me. I even offered to pay with a 1 euro coin, which she refused, and said payment was not necessary in the circumstances.This morning I received a credit card statement, showing a charge from the Velamar Hotel for 1 euro ( 91p ). I am surprised and disappointed that the hotel would do this. The amount is trivial, but the message they are sending is not good.

The shower turned hot and cold and the water had no pressure. Breakfast had allergy advice but dishes could be more separated from one another not to have contamination. Few vegan options. Room was clean and big, bed was very nice. The balcony gave the extra, as well as the garden with the pool.

No primeiro dia, logo após o checkin entrámos no quarto, estava tudo arrumado mas o chão estava sujo de areia. Chamámos atenção à receção e a partir daí ficou tudo impecável nos restantes dias da nossa estadia. O quarto tem ar condicionado tv com muitos canais mas a Internet é fraca. Na receção existe um bar, tv e jogos como snooker, xadrez, dominó etc... Também tem piscina. Mas o ponto forte é mesmo o pequeno almoço. Boa relação qualidade preço. Fica à 10min da praia, próximo de vários restaurantes e, para quem não pretende gastar muito dinheiro, existe um supermercado Intermarché a 5min do hotel. Recomendo!

Hotel que, apesar de não estar localizado no centro, fica relativamente perto de tudo, nomeadamente da praia de Olhos de Água, que fica a uns 15 minutos de caminhada e onde existem restaurantes, cafés, lojinhas e farmácia.
Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestáveis.
Os quartos são espaçosos, limpos e confortáveis. No entanto, os quartos que ficam por baixo da sala onde é servido o pequeno almoço são muito barulhentos.
O bar serve bons cocktails que têm muito mais qualidade do que os que são servidos fora do hotel.
O pequeno almoço também apresenta opções diversificadas e de qualidade. É servido no último piso, que tem uma bonita vista para o mar.
Boa relação qualidade/serviço preço.

Sehr schönes nicht so großes Hotel, mit Pool und Frühstücksbuffet. Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind neu, sehr sauber und werden täglich gut gereinigt. Nachteilig finde ich nur, dass es direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt und auch die Balkone dahin zeigen. Und es leider sehr weit zum Strand ist. Viele Gäste haben sich von einem Taxi fahren lassen... Aber sonst super und sehr umweltbewusst!

No está mal, es un hotel apartado del barullo que para mi es bueno para descansar. Los empleados muy amables y serviciales. El desayuno está bien y bastante completo. Le doy 3 estrechas por la humedad que había en la habitación, no olía a húmedo pero visualmente estropea la habitación, la limpieza podía ser mejorable, pero por lo demás es recomendable. Adjunto la foto de la humedad pero que conste, que es una crítica constructiva para mejora del hotel.

Hotel con cosas buenas y otras no tanto. La atención del personal de recepción es de 10!, pero las instalaciones se notan algo anticuadas y descuidadas. La zona piscina esta bien y tranquila. En el apacarcamiento privado hay sitio de sobras. Nuestra habitación era muy grande.
Me sorprende mucho la baja calidad del desayuno, con un cafe imbebible (ibamos al bar de al lado tomar el café).
La botella de agua que ponen gratuita en todos los hoteles, en este caso, solo es gratuita la primera. No es por el precio de un agua, es simplemente el detalle.
La localización es muy buena, tranquila, de fácil acceso y cerca de playas.
Relación calidad precio está bien.

Como bueno indicar lo tranquilo que es tanto en ubicación como por lo pequeño, de esta forma en las zonas comunes al no ser muchos huéspedes no hay mucho jaleo, y la limpieza, las zonas comunes huelen a limpio!.
Como negativo me sorprende que: te cobren 3€ si quieres renovar la toalla de la piscina; el desayuno es muy básico y con productos bastante simples y de calidad baja (los zumos no son naturales, el café de maquina de hospital...y eso que tienen Nespresso en el bar..ya podrían poner una en el buffet del desayuno); no tienen restaurante, solo un bar de piscina para comer sándwiches en la misma tumbona ya que la zona de mesas es cerrado, sin luz, con una maquina de helados escandalosa, y que da calor.

Best place to stay in albufiera, had stayed couple of more hotels even beach resort but Velamar hotel is best among them. Good hospitality, best ambience, you have minimum of 10 restaurants surrounded the hotel Portuguese, Italian, Indian and Thai. Hyper market is nearby.

This was our fourth visit to this hotel and we have always rated it highly until this year. We travelled with our 9 year-old son and the in-laws and we required a late room to change as our flight wasn't until 9pm , we asked and even offered to pay for a room until 4pm to shower and change but where told in no uncertain terms No room was available so unfortunately we will not be visiting again

Just got back from a week at the velamar. Rm very clean except for the day they forgot to clean it. Obviously no one checks them. Bar food very gd and breakfast was ok but after 9.30am ran out of cups and plates and had to wait for them to wash them. Staff very smart and would stay again. Decor very gd

Excellent hotel at this price point. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is nice and the overall experience is lovely. It's close to a supermarket, beaches and restaurants. Albufeira is a 10 minute drive in a taxi.

The front desk was amazing. They were so helpful in letting us use the luggage storage and in helping navigate rapidly changing travel plans due to CoVid19 and the American Travel Ban. I cannot say thank you enough!

Отличный отель. Хорошее месторасположение. Рядом есть множество кафе, ресторанов, супермаркет. К ближайшему пляжу минут 10 пешком. Также в отеле есть небольшой бассейн и терраса для загара. Если путешествуете на машине то в отеле есть бесплатный паркинг. Персонал отеля внимательный и доброжелательный. На мой день рождения подарили шоколадный тортик и бутылку шампанского. Было очень приятно!

What a fantastic hotel with friendly/helpful/welcoming staff. Was here for my birthday with my husband and toddler. The rooms/bathroom very clean and very comfortable bed. There was personal touches left in my room for my birthday which was so lovely. The breakfast was good and fresh every morning. They have private parking if you hire a car which was great. Lovely outside pool with sun loungers. They offer massages also which a great touch for a 3 star hotel. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a nice room to begin with but it was on the main road. Sleep was impossible outside the hours of 12:30 - 5:30 AM. We were moved after 2 nights to an inferior room away from the main road. The room was smaller and not in nice condition - so did we get what we paid for? We had 2 nights of relative calm and then the room above was occupied. The first night was very noisy until 3:30 AM. Hotel staff did what they could but there was noise every night until we left. Noise carries poorly through to floors - this is not a quiet hotel. A bit irritating as we paid the full amount over 8 months in advance and our original request for a pool view was never met. So disappointed really. We also had to ask for the bedding to be stripped as it smelt of vomit or similar. By the way, we did not know until we arrived that Velamar is a budget hotel. The hotel advertises as such locally but Expedia was silent on it. So in summary, the hotel is OK but it’s not for us I’m afraid.

Le personnel très sympa. Qualité /prix très bien. Par contre pour le service ménage ce n était pas tous les jours fait on mettait la pancarte tôt le matin et lorsqu on rentrait vers 16h celui-ci n était pas encore fait cela s est reproduit 2 fois mais ce est peut être facile à gérer. Sinon dans l ensemble très bon hôtel.

The Velamar was a delightful hotel to spend a few nights away at. The staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The pool, although small, was a bonus. I travelled with my daughter and requested a quieter room, which was exactly what we got. The breakfast was buffet-style and was plentiful with a wide range of food and drinks. We had an evening flight, and although we had to check out at midday, we were able to have our luggage stored securely and were able to use all of the facilities. I would certainly return to the Velamar in the future!

I have stayed here a few times - in fact this was my 3rd short stay this year. Too busy for me in August; breakfast very chaotic & pool too noisy with larger groups (this was the case in June also with very loud hen party) Not as relaxing ambience as usual. But overall it’s a fab little hotel

Manager was rude. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the curtains close next door. Avoid if you value peace and quiet. Actually avoid Albufeira altogether lol.

Lovely hotel, staff very helpful. The place is so clean inside, rooms cleaned daily, including bedding and fresh towels if requested. Nice little cosy bar area with a TV and pool table. Small pool with poolside bar area and drinks service, always plenty of longers and additional longer towels are provided with your room. The rooms are lovely and clean, we had a ground floor twin with balcony, facing the pool so away from road. Air con is free as is the use of the digital room safe. We had breakfast included, breakfasts are amazing, so much choice from healthy fruit and cereal to traditional English, eat as much as you want to keep you going till evening. All in all a great hotel with a lovely atmosphere with friendly attentive staff....would definitely come here again and would recommend to anybody.

Very lovely hotel .staff all very friendly and helpful but a few minor things that could do with improving . First of all my partner and i were put into room 105 , not the best , its very close to the main rd and there was 2 dogs that would always bark morning ,noon and night . I do realise this is not the hotels fault but it did drive us nuts that we asked to be moved and we moved to room 108 , much better overlooking the pool and much quieter , but there was a dog there too and a cockerel ,so not perfect .
The other problem was breakfast ,although it was good with plenty of choice , the sausages bacon beans eggs etc were always cold or lukewarm , even if we arrived as soon as it opened it was the same .
Although i have pointed these things out i am no way critising them and it would not stop me from returning . I was asked by the staff when leaving , if we enjoyed our stay ? I replied that if i come back i'd shoot all the dogs in the area first , we all had a good laugh .Keep up the good work and please keep improving

My wife and I have just returned home from a weeks stay in this lovely hotel. We couldnt fault it as we really enjoyed the hotel and location. The Staff were all very helpful and polite. It happened to be my birthday during our stay and on the day there was a knock on our door and it was two members of Staff with a slab of cake and an ice bucket with a bottle of sparkling wine for me. It was a really nice gesture and very touching. We would definately stay here again. Within walking distance of some really nice local restaurants that are very good value for money and serve lovely food.

Das Hotel sieht von außen erstmal nicht so schön aus, aber innen ist es sehr modern und neuwertig eingerichtet. Zudem war sämtliches Personal sehr freundlich und auf unsere Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Es gab einen kostenlosen Parkplatz und das Frühstück war auch ausreichend für ein paar Tage. Für 2 Wochen könnte die Auswahl etwas zu klein sein. Das Zimmer zur Straße war leider etwas laut zum Schlafen durch die vorbeifahrenden Autos. Direkt neben dem Hotel sind leckere, günstige lokale Restaurants. Uns hat vor allem der Inder (Richtung Osten) sehr gut gefallen. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen.

Stayed here for 10 days. Room was pretty good, bar area was nice. Did not use the pool (not very big), and the food was OK. Quite noisy neighbours (dogs and a rooster that likes to wake you up every morning). Location is good (some nice restaurants within walking distance) and short walk to Praia da Falesia. A supermarket is just east of the hotel, 4 minutes along the main road.

One of the nicest place I've stayed in year and the food round about is great quality and cheap look for the set deals and just add extra wine and little bits to the deal 5 courses for to the other night with wine €30 for two

We stayed for 7 nights at this excellent hotel, very welcoming as staff go out of there way to make your stay comfortable, this hotel is very well maintained and clean, rooms have everything you need , air con safery deposit boxs etc.. I would recommend this hotel to couples and elderly people as it seems more suited , quiet and comfortable spot, but not terribly far from few bars and great restaurants, the old town 15mins in taxi, beach 15min walk, ideal location for a nice quiet relaxing break. From the moment we arrived the service from Pedro on reception was amazing. All the staff very very polite, professional and very helpful. They provided an excellent breakfast buffet service (oranges, tomatoes and coffee) were exceptionally good. They provided beach towels which was extremely helpful and arranged our scooter rental. The room 303 (the suite) was luxurious. We will book again next year and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, more expensive hotels could take note this hotel is run. We arrived at Valamar for our honeymoon. I had emailed the hotel before arrival and asked if there was anything they could put in the room as a surprise to my new wife. Although we had arrived before the 'check in' the staff did everything to get the room ready. We was greeted with a lovely bottle of sparkling wine, petals on the bed and a fruit platter. More than I was ever expecting.
Throughout our stay all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Made the week a highly enjoyable experience.

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und motiviert. Unser Zimmer befand sich im 1. Stock zur Hauptstraße, daher leider schlafen bei offener Balkontür nicht möglich. Das Zimmer war top! Schien neu renoviert, TV mit deutschen Sendern, Balkon groß und das Bett traumhaft! Das Frühstücksbuffett war grandios und abwechslungsreich. Man hat auch die Möglichkeit auf der Terrasse in der Sonne zu frühstücken. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenfreien abgesicherten Parkplatz u die Poolanlage ist wirklich schön, gepflegt u bietet genügend Platz. Handtücher werden kostenlos für den Pool angeboten. Der Strand liegt zu Fuß leider 15min weit weg, was bei heißen Temperaturen und die vielen Stufen sehr anstrengend werden kann. Dafür wird man mit einem Traumstrand belohnt. Das Zentrum mit zig Restaurants u Geschäften liegt ca 2,5km entfernt. Ohne Mietauto wäre uns dieses Hotel zu weit weg. (Direkt gegenüber des Hotels befindet sich auch ein Restaurant, man verhungert nicht ;) )

El hotel está semi-reformado, no está mal en general, no está muy cerca de la playa, si quieres quedarte siempre en el mismo. Las habitaciones que dan a la carretera son bastantes ruidosas, por el paso de coches aún teniendo contraventanas. El desayuno no es muy extenso pero esta todo bueno.

The hotel is good, the room is very cosy, the staff are extremely friendly, they have a very good bar. The only think I didn't like is that they don't have a good variety for the breakfast. We were there during 5 days and everyday the breakfast was pretty much the same.

Strand nicht gerade nahe aber zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstück war lecker, man hat nichts vermisst. Die Angedtellten sind sehr nett und können ein bisschen deutsch. Die Lobby ist neu gemacht und die Presse sehr günstig. Der Pool ist sehr klein.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Velamar. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich, äusserst zuvorkommend und hat von sich aus anerboten, organisatorische Aufgaben zu übernehmen.Das Frühstücksbuffet war angemessen, man musste jedoch manchmal auf frische Kaffeetassen, Joghurt-Schalen und ähnliches warten. Das Personal war jedoch immer auf Achse und füllte ausgegangene Speisen baldmöglichst wieder auf.

The hotel is located around 1km from the beach which is a nice short stroll. The walk takes you past many bars and restaurants so allows you to choose on your way.
We had a double balcony room overlooking the pool. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with air conditioning, and a mini bar (we took everything out of it and filled with our own items which we bought from the supermarket to keep costs down).
Breakfast was on the third floor where you could eat outside and take in the view. The variety of food offered was good, 4 hot items, cold meat & cheese, fruit, cereal, bread etc. The coffee was particularly nice!
Staff were polite and professional, everyone spoke English which was helpful to us. We were checking out at 5am, and they even arranged a small packed lunch for us since we would miss breakfast.
Would definitely recommend if you're not into the all inclusive type holidays.

El hotel no está en la playa, ni tampoco en la zona de movida pero están lo suficientemente cerca como para ir y lo bastante lejos como para no aguantar las molestias. El hotel está estupendo, la piscina es pequeña pero encantadora, la wifi funciona muy bien y los desayunos son abundantes y bastante variados. Recomendable si quieres gastarte el dinero en diversión y regalos y no en un hotel que poco más puede darte.

Wir haben hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verlebt. Mit unserem Zimmer waren wir sehr zufrieden. Es war hell und geräumig und der Ausblick auf den Pool gerichtet. Wir sind zum zweiten mal im Velamar gewesen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und das Buffet am Morgen ist reichhaltig. Die Servicekräfte sind immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn wir wieder nach Olhos de Agua gehen, werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder dieses Hotel besuchen.

Positive:Nice atmosphere, helpful staff, clean room, huge bed, refrigerator, excellent breakfast buffet with a nice view, supermarket nearby, price is okayNegative:We had to wait for almost two hours until our room was ready although we were on time, no WiFi in our roomOther comments:One night there was loud music in the bar until midnight. Ask for a room on a high floor if you go to bed earlier. 10-15 minutes walk to get to the closest beach. 20-25 minutes walk to get to Praia da Falesia (one of the most wonderful beaches in Europe) but its definitely worth it! To get to Albufeira take the bus (make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand so you dont have to wait for too long!) or a taxi.

Der Pool ist recht klein und zum Strand ist es ziemlich weit, aber sonst gibts gar nichts zum Aussetzen.

En los desayunos había gran variedad y todo estaba riquísimo. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y la decoración era simple pero buena, no se necesita más, los muebles estaban bien. El personal del hotel era muy simpático y amable, incluso nos recomendaron restaurantes para almorzar por la zona (magníficos). En el bar del hotel los precios estaban bien también. El tercer año que vamos, y seguro que no el último. ¡Gracias!

Für einige Tage okay, ca. 10-15 min entfernt vom Strand. Frühstück wird allerdings schnell etwas eintönig, da quasi jeden Tag identisch und nicht besonders umfangreich .Allerdings tolle Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse.

it was my first time at hotel velamar and i was delighted by the hospitality of all staff. there is also a fairly good supermarket within 200 meters from the hotel (intermarche) and restaurants are aplenty, all within walking distance from the hotel.
walk down to the nearby fishing village of olhos d' agua if you wish to take a better understanding of the life of local fishermen!

Passei esta semana uma noite no hotel Velamar e gostei muito. Era uma oferta de aniversário ao meu namorado e procurei procurei e acabei por fazer a reserva no mesmo pois gostei muito do aspecto do quarto e do facto de ser apenas 20€ com peq-almoço incluído. O hotel é de pequena dimensão, com um aspecto muito moderno e creio que estão a fazer por isso. O pequeno-almoço foi bom, com variedade de pão e fruta, cereais, leite e café... Jantamos no cantinho do mar, um restaurante que fica mesmo a 15metros do hotel, e comemos menus completos por 7.50€ cada um. Ele adorou a noite e o hotel. Definitivamente recomendo :)

Enjoyed short break early January. Hotel staff freindly and helpful with any queries. Breakfast only cold meats,fresh and canned fruits plus bread selection to make toast if wanted, but eveything fresh and appetising.Hotel is on main road between Albufeira and Olhos da Agua but no problem with road noise. Buses to Albufeira and Faro stop outside hotel and run approx hourly during the day but stop at ~ 8pm so not suitable for nights out.
