I don't dislike it. However 4 star rating is misleading for world travellers. Reception staff are always friendly. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast not the greatest so I choose to not have it

Bel hôtel pour une nuit à proximité de l'aéroport, de notre loueur (Drive on Holidays) et du centre de Faro. Très calme, bien équipé, navette gratuite. Seul le PdJ est assez moyen: pain frais mais croissants et jus de fruit pas bon, fruits pas mûrs. Néanmoins, étant donné le prix: 78€ pour 2 avec le PdJ c'est imbattable (merci booking).

Hotel looks nice and clean, but despite of the fact that wifi had to be provided signal was so bad, that even card mashines in bar didn't work. So literally there was no wifi. Also breakfast was disgusting- unbearable coffee and juice. Apart abovementioned hotel is good. Swimming pool is nice.

Decent hotel with outdoor pool. Not very modern and doesn't have a restaurant. Serves limited bar food (pizza and burger) and self service breakfast is the same every day (cereal, toast, ham, cheese, muffin) and it gets a bit boring. About 45 minute walk into Faro along a nice cycle/walking track and an Aldi nearby. There are some restaurants a short walk away.

clean comfortable room with good bathroom. Outside of hotel lets it down as it needs maintenance and painting.Hotel convenient (within 3 miles) for airport, beach, shopping centre and town. (Shuttle or $10 taxi ride)One reason I booked was because the hotel website advertised a restaurant but when you get there they say NO - only for groups of 20 or more which is annoying. Bar food not brilliant and not a good area for decent restaurants.Polite helpful reception staff.

Très belle hotel.
Un sourire des l'arrivée, nous avons été surpris par la qualité de l'hôtel et des chambres en particulier qui était vraiment spacieuse. Une chambre double avec 2 lit de 140 Cm. Le rapport qualité prix est au rendez-vous. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et le personnel est vraiment très professionnel. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel

We booked and payed for 7 nights, from Stockholm Sweden, to care för my brother who was very ill. The hotel Monaco seemed nice enough and close to the hospital intensive care. Tragically he died the first day. We were than complied to take care of his family in Pera. When we explained the situation we were told that the manager would call us two days ago and help us with a refund. Nothing happened so we called again three days later. We received no sympathy and no refund...

Very far from center and station. not very friendly welcome.breakfast included, in the cellar floor, on the walls with advise that there would be a punishment fee if anybody takes any food out of the room (which I usually do, because I only eat little for breakfast).On Sunday morning at 07.30 a lot of noise from group leaving.

Das Einzelzimmer war sehr dunkel mit Blick auf eine Einfahrt. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen. Das Frühstücks lunch Paket war sehr einfach.

Sehr einfach gestaltetes 4-Sternehaus. Pool war leider während meines Aufenthaltes dauerhaft geschlossen. Frühstück ebenfalls sehr einfach und kein Wasser. Der Trainingsraum hatte nur 4 Geräte. Zimmer einigermaßen sauber, Dunkelvorhänge und Recht ruhig. Wenn man die Wahl hat, kein Zimmer zur Südseite nehmen, sonst brutzelt man trotz Klimaanlage ganz ordentlich.

Très bon hôtel, la réception est ouverte 24h sur 24 et le personnel est accueillant. Les chambres sont correctes, vous y trouverez une climatisation, un bureau, une télévision donnant quelques chaînes françaises, le nécessaire de toilette (serviettes, savons) et un sèche cheveux. Il y a également du wifi dans les chambres avec une connexion sécurisée pour les accès professionnels

Prima hotel voor direct na aankomst in of voor vertrek van Faro. Goede bedden weinig last van andere gasten. Allerlei voorzieningen. Zelfs een zwembad. Ook in de directe omgeving kan je eten koffiedrinken of boodschappen doen bij de Lidl.

The reason we only give it 3 * is because
- the pool area needs updating, the sunbeds are very uncomfortable and the pool wasn't very clean. It needs TLC
- our room had a view of the car park ramp and it was very hot
Apart from that was clean and the breakfast was good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location if you have a car and you can easily get too far out in the surrounding cities. Hotel had air conditioning in a pool which was nice especially when the weather is really hot.

Nice hotel and staff. Little bit in the middle of no where but only a short taxi ride away to some lovely places. Breakfast is not so good , choice of 3 meats and cheeses with hot dogs !! Other than that it's cerial or fruit.

I don't know how this hotel got more then a 1 Star rating.
The room we had was old and came with Ants which was nice. The shower curtain had the name of the hotel with a 3 star rating. I don't know which rooms are pictured in this, but our room was nothing like it.

Nice and quite hotel, the staff is also nice and helpful, the room are clean and comfortable. WiFi connection is good and they offer a shuttle bus to go to the airport/Faro/beach.
I put 4 stars just because the breakfast is not that good the quality, is it placed in the most orribile point of the hotel and is actually dirty.

There is no luggage service, the checking in was very slow, the room is average, it looks the furniture was updated to modern but the room is very small, the bathroom is great, spacious and clean. Breakfast is OK but located down to the basement in a salon with very old furniture that looks quite cheap, I asked if it was possible to fry 1 egg for my child and the answer was no.

Já lá fiquei várias vezes, já tive boas e más experiências principalmente com limpeza deficiente, mas foi uma ou duas em que o quarto apresentava-se com pó nos móveis e mais alguns detalhes pouco abonatórios como cabelos. Todavia deixei de frequentar pelo constante leilão de preços, pouco correto, pouco ético, mas prática cada vez mais habitual entre todos os hotéis, devem rever essa conduta. Preço consoante a cara do cliente...
O pequeno almoço é bom em todas as vezes que frequentei talvez umas 10 datas distintas ao longo do ano e em vários anos. Boa localização principalmente para quem anda a trabalho. Tem próximo shopping, restaurantes, aeroporto e até uma sex shop Afrodite 100%.

A FUIRE !!! Comment vous expliquer, séjour réservé pour une famille au mois d'aout trois chambres. On est arrivé il nous demande nos cartes identité on leur donne mais on avait un bebe de 6 mois, qui avait son livret de famille ainsi que son papier de déclaration de naissance. La suite devient moins drôle, la directrice de l'hôtel se déplace en personne pour nous refuser l'entrée dans son hôtel 4 étoiles parce que le bébé n'avait pas de carte d'identité en lui expliquant par tous les moyens du monde que la norme est un livret de famille et la présence des parents avec leur carte d'identité elle ne voulait rien savoir et nous a mis à la porte. Plein mois d'aout 34 degré sans hôtel et laissant toute une famille à la rue. Elle nous a quand même dit trouver un autre hôtel qui vous acceptera alors sur ceux bonne vacances.
Hotel Monaco 4 étoiles sur le papier mais réellement zéro. Je le déconseille très fortement et en plus ils sont hautains et irrespectueux.

We stayed here as we had an early morning flight to Tenerife as convenient to the airport. That said, the front desk staff was very friendly and made sure we had a take away snack for breakfast as would miss the buffet and assisted in getting us a cab very early in the morning. Nice lounge with comfortable seating to enjoy in the evening if no time to go elsewhere.

Os empregados são muito simpaticos. Mas o Hotel em si não podemos considerar 4 estrelas mas sim um 3 estrelas. Pequeno almoço muito pobre, local de refeição devia ser mais cuidado. Quartos muito antigos.

Um excelente hotel em Faro,sul de Portugal, com excelente infraestrutura, um grande restaurante, com um ótimo café da manhã, um bom living, recepção excelente, um atendimento de bar excelente,apoio de transporte terrestre ( van ) para o aeroporto e praia, Wi-Fi operacional e um excelente piscina , seus colaboradores sempre presente são o diferencial neste hotel. It near the airport, as expected the parking is just next to the hotel and it’s free. It’s about 6-8 minutes drive to the old Faro center, during the is easy to find the hotel, but at night we were lost because there is no street sign and the road make crossing rather complicated.

Gostei imenso do hotel, apesar de não corresponder às instruções específicas que tinha dado aos serviços que fizeram a reserva. O hotel - em si - é muito razoável, o pessoal é bastante simpático, o pequeno almoço é muitíssimo razoável e os quartos igualmente. Os serviços oferecidos pareceram-me interessantes, mas como estava em trabalho não tive oportunidade de experimentar. Do meu ponto de vista, a maior fragilidade deste hotel é a sua localização, que implica que a pessoa disponha dos seus próprios meios para se deslocar. A vista também não é propriamente um espetáculo, mas se nenhum destes aspectos é um obstáculo, então trata-se de uma excelente opção em termos qualidade/preço.

Scheinbar wurde nach den Bewertungen der letzten 2 Jahre renoviert/modernisiert. Zimmer in gutem Zustand und sauber.
Frühstück weiterhin im Keller und nichts besonderes.
Gutes Hotel für eine Nacht aufgrund Nähe zum Flughafen. Shuttleservice zum Flughafen!

Relatively close to the bus line into Faro, a few restaurants and to the airport. Pool, bar, some bar type food available, breakfast buffet was pretty good. Check-in time was 2 pm and we were checked in at 2 pm, but a slightly earlier room availability would have been nice as our travel landed us there at 8 am.

Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood with friendly staff. Hotel has a shuttle (following a timetable) to go and come back to Faro old town, airport and in the summer to beach of Faro.
My flight was very early in the morning, before the breakfast started to be served and they provided a bag with the essentials. I really appreciated that.
Swimming pool is really enjoyable and the water is always in a good temperature.
Rooms are well presented, toiletries are provided.
The bar has a beautiful decoration and big TVs broadcasting sports.
The improvement points are:
The road next to the hotel is really noise even during the night and the acoustic isolation in the room is not so good. It means that even with balcony’s door close and airco on you can still hear it.
Gym has only one equipment for workout and it was broken.
Cleaning ladies are really noise, talking to each other in a very high volume. The vacuum cleaner also is really noise and both woke me up every afternoon during a nap after lunch.
There is wellness center in the hotel, but several attempts to schedule a massage were fruitless.

The hotel is situated within easy reach to the town centre and beach. They offer a free shuttle service to these destinations as well as to the airport. The snack bar serves lovely food and drink and is reasonably priced. Rooms are air conditioned, spacious and clean. Reception staff are very friendly and will give advice for travelling further afield using public transport and give recommendations for good local restaurants. Also, there is a supermarket and some cafes within a 10 mins walk from the hotel.

Hotel ottimo, camera prenotata per tre adulti , due adulti e due bambini di 7 e 5 anni , vanno bene, stanza molto ampia, l,hotel è provvisto anche di piscina. Posto auto esterno pubblico , non si paga, posti in abbondanza, c'è bisogno di noleggio auto , ha anche navetta con inizio alle 8 ... Avevo volo prenotato per le 9.50 sono andato via dall' albergo alle 8 per arrivare puntuale all'imbarco

Horrible personnel et accueil.
Nous avions réservé 3 chambres pour le mois d'août, un bébé de 5 mois était avec nous mais il n'avait pas encore fait sa carte d'identité mais nous avions livret de famille, certificat de naissance et carte d'identité des parents, l'hôtel nous a refusé le séjour ! Donc ils ont tout de même proposé de nous recevoir sans le bébé ! On a demandé si c'était une blague mais non il étaient sérieux. Ils ont laissé une famille entière avec enfants et bébé à la rue en plein mois d'août et à Faro, comment retrouver un logement pour le soir même ? C'est totalement honteux, ça se veut un hôtel 4 étoiles mais ça n'en a pas la classe ni l'envergure ! SCANDALEUX.

Chambre qui chauffe en permanence, même après avoir aéré pendant des heures avec 18°C dehors. Obligé de laisser la fenêtre ouverte la nuit ou de mettre la climatisation (seul hôtel dans ce cas pendant tout le séjour).

The hotel is just so dated and stinks as it has carpets everywhere. We felt quite disappointed as it looked much more modern on the pictures. Glad we only stayed for a night. The “pool” was dirty and the bar is only open from 3pm in the afternoon.

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt. Parkplätze sind alle kostenlos. Die Zimmer haben absoluten 4* Komfort. Das Frühstück könnte allersings besser sein. Das heisst: mehr Auswahl. Dennoch absolut ausreichend.

Overall comfortable accomodation. Close to the airport and to a bus station connecting to the beach. However no bus available to get to the city centre. Wifi in the Hotel a bit slow. Breakfast not particularly rich, just acceptable. Of note, bar open until late fro drinks and food. Swimming pool and gym available.

Buen hotel muy cerca del aeropuerto de Faro y a 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad y la playa, aunque indispensable ir en coche. Suele haber sitio en los alrededores para aparcar. Recepción pequeña pero acogedora y bien atendida. Habitaciones algo pequeñas pero limpias y cómodas con todo lo necesario. Baño bien equipado aunque algo pequeño. Buen restaurante aunque algo pequeño también. Hotel recomendable.

We stayed here for one night bcuz of Ryanair flight’s cancellation. They offered us this hotel. This is not a 4 stars Hotel. Hotel’s snack bar is pricey and the foods were not good enough for the price. Room has very bad smell kind of paint...

Sehr nette Rezeption, sehr Hilfsbereit!
Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Für die Durchreise (eine Nacht) war es in Ordnung.
Allerdings riecht der Ausguss sehr stark, das ist nicht schön und auch die Sauberkeit ist nur okay.
Die Dusche ist Morgens sehr lange sehr kalt... (4. Etage)
Kleiner TV, defekter ekeliger Kühlschrank und Zimmer an sich sehr gebraucht/ verbraucht.
War in Ordnung,… könnte man mehr draus machen, war sicher mal ein schönes Hotel und liegt sehr zentral (Flughafen / Strand / Stadt)

Близко к аэропорту! На машине 3 мин, пешком 25 мин:) есть бассейн:) Отель находится в очень симпатичном районе, в окружении небольших вилл:) есть траснфер, нужно просто позвонить из аэпопорта и за вами приедет транспорт из отеля!

A nice hotel close to Faro airport Portugal.
Handy for airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms have TV, WiFi and hair dryer. There is a minibus shuttle to the airport at Faro. Lounge nice. Snacks available during the day. Eg if you have to vacate room to wait for flight. Have to vacate rooms by 12 midday. Check in 2 pm. There is a little pool with sunbeds; bit cold end May/early June. Breakfast room requredr a refurb but breakfast was good with choice. There is a masseuse called Marysa, gives great massage. Annie Kelly UK

Poco higiénico. Presencia de insectos. Tuvimos que pedir que retiraran telarañas del techo de la habitación, y finalmente, tras ver cucarachas corriendo por la sala del desayuno ( del que lo único pasable era pan con mantequilla y café), pedimos que nos devolvieran el dinero de las noches restantes y nos fuimos.

Hotel ansich ist gut. Man darf hier bei dem Preis nicht an der Leistung meckern.
Aber beim Frühstück erwarte auch ich bei auch nur 4 Tagen Aufenthalt eine gewisse Abwechslung bei den Auflagen und nicht nur eine Sorte Käse und Wurst
Lage ist schön zentral gelegen da man mit dem Bus 15 min bis zum Strand und 15 min in die entgegen gesetzte Richtung in die Stadt benötigt.

Booked in here by easyJet as flight cancelled. Room ok, extractor fan in bathroom not working, bathroom door didn't close, pillows with the comfort factor of an envelope. Breakfast was on the long life variety (of the tinned and UHT type, not of the quinoa porridge sort)! Hotel very clean, staff helpful and friendly, nice bar area.

Very nice place, hotel has a nice location, astaff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, with AC. Very nice bathrooms. Breakfasts are cool, a little bit everyday the same thing but very tasty. Bus stop is near so you can go to Faro or beach instantly. And there is a swimming pool :)

Arrived very late after a long disruptive journey. Hotel Monaco staff very quickly and efficiently provided a comfortable place to rest and a lovely breakfast the following morning

Nothing special about this place. My stay was okay but not impressive. Staff ok but not very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast - typical Continental breakfast without any extra local food. Hotel in quiet place, good rather for one night stay. Swimming pool was clean, not too big but good enough to stay in there for a bit in very hot day.

Very dirty surrounding i wasnt impressed at all...the pool was disgusting in mid summee seems abandoned..wouldnt recommend at all..my visit was a hell without the pool cus of sand and dirt.

Two good things: 5min from the airport and the staff at the front desk & the bar was polite. All the rest was very bad! I would be curious to know who was brave enough to label this place 4 stars! I believe Stevie Wonder did it cause it's barely a 2 stars! The room was so old fashioned that it seems to be in 1981 in East Berlin....the elevator is slower than my grandma and I wish I have photos of the breakfast....it looked so awful!
I feel really sorry for the gang of British geezers who checked-in after me. Their faces were really proven.....I spent just a night there but I still feel scammed for how much money I paid.

Great little hotel. Slightly outside of the main bit of Faro and you can't walk in easily due to the motorway but an uber only costs around €5. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to the town and to the airport! Breakfast is basic but good. I'd stay again.

Para marcar um evento ou uma reunião de trabalho que envolva um grupo de pessoas, com respetiva refeição, é uma péssima opção. O departamento comercial é complicadíssimo, qualquer decisão passa pela direção do hotel e a morosidade da resposta ao cliente organizador compromete qualquer compromisso. Não demonstram muito interesse no cliente. Não recomendo.

Poucas condições para um hotel 4 estrelas. O ginasio é pequeno. O restaurante/bar fica numa cave sem janelas. O pequeno almoço buffet tem pouca vatiedade. Tem transfer que pode ser reservado mediante disponibilidade e esta muito perto do aeroporto. O staff é simpático.

Bonjour , j ai séjourné du 25 au 29 septembre , c est un hotel qui est bien situé , entre aeroport et Faro centre , ligne de bus passant a proximité , facilité de stationnement .Points positifs , l accueil , le personnel , et les services proposés , le rapport qualité prix .
Les points negatifs , vétusté , propreté , le petit dej. au sous sol dans les garages , en cohabitation avec des cafarts , la piscine dont le font est recouvert de petits carreaux qui se font la malle , vetuste .

Hotel simpático estive hospedado várias vezes é bom para quem vai para a praia de Faro ou para a universidade isto porque fica longe da cidade. Tem de ter carro ou chamar taxi. Fora esse detalhe é um hotel recomendável. O staff é simpático o bar é agradável e a piscina também muito bem conseguida.

Excelente relación calidad precio. Estuvimos tres días en agosto y el trato de los empleados fue siempre correcto, muy amables, educados y profesionales. El viaje era mitad trabajo, mitad vacaciones, pero cuando vuelva a la misma zona volveré al mismo hotel. El barrio es tranquilo y se aparca bien, está bien comunicado. Lo que yo creo que se puede mejorar es la TV, son pantallas viejas y los canales son pocos y casi todos locales. Por lo demás, está bien.

8 napot töltöttünk itt. tiszta, csendes, segítőkész személyzettel. reggeli benne van az árban (bár minden nap ugyan az), van ingyen tranrszfer a városba, reptérre és a strandra is. wifi, klíma, medence használat szintén a leírtak szerint ingyenes.

El hotel está bien situado. El personal bastante soso y reaccio a comunicarse. La habitacion amplia pero el mobiliario deja bastante que desear esta muy desgastado e incluso roto aunque limpio. La terraza bastante sucia y descuidada. Lo unico bueno es q se descansa bien ya que se encuentra en zona residencial. Los aires acondicionados renovados.

Personalen rekommenderade den bästa sidan av hotellet(soliga). Swimming-poolen var väldigt ren. Det fanns alltid solstol till förfogande. Parkeringen var fri. Hotellet ligger i Montenegro väldigt nära Faro det var lätt att hitta.

Als wir dieses 3 Sterne Hotel gebucht haben, hatten wir keine riesengroße Erwartungen und letztendlich hatten wir uns dafür entschieden wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen unseren Urlaub dort zu verbringen. Leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht, was Sauberkeit und Service anbelangt. Zimmer und Bad wurden zwar täglich saubergemacht aber nur ganz oberflächlich. Der Safe im Zimmer war defekt, was wir auch am ersten Tag gemeldet haben, der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption meinte nur lapidar, zurzeit sei niemand da, um ihn zu warten. Die Minibar war am Anfang gefüllt danach nicht mehr(?) Und am allerschlimmsten war der Frühstücksraum, eher ein Kellerraum, wo schmutzige Tischwäsche die ganze Woche nicht gewechselt wurde. Alles in einem nicht empfehlenswert.

Un hotel perfectamente ubicado en una de las mejores costas europeas. Habitaciones cómodas y más que agradables. Sin embargo, su mayor ventaja competitiva es el magnífico servicio de los trabajadores.
Todo mi respeto para el Director del Hotel, que solventó una serie de incidencias de la mejor manera posible.

Próximo a la concentración Motard de Faro. Para este caso la mejor ubicacion. El Hotel no esta mal. Desayuno aceptable.
