Absolutely fantastic food. Highly recommend for customer service and the banter! Food amazing. Cannot fault it. Only wish I had found this restaurant on my first night of holiday.

Fuimos a comprar un agua ,nos atendió un chico muy mal educado diciéndonos que estaba cerrado ,una compañera suya que estaba en la barra le dijo que nos diera la botella de agua que no pasaba nada ,fue a buscarla a regañadientes y cuando volvió dijo que no había agua para vender que solo había del staff y que eran de ellos ,la chica de la barra muy amable de nuevo le dice que nos de una de esas botellas que no pasaba nada ;fue a buscarla de nuevo y dijo son 2 euros y se partía de risa delante de nuestra cara diciendo que si vende todos los días así el agua estaría genial ,en fin un maleducado sin vergüenza que no tiene respeto por los clientes ni por nada ;teníamos pensado ir al día siguiente a comer pero después de ese detalle jamás entraremos aí por culpa de ese maleducado ,la verdad esque me arrepiento de haberle cogido el agua ,debería de decirle por 2 euros bébetela tú y tiratela por la cabeza de paso .lamentable

We had amazing food and great service here, also the rosé sangria was delicious!
I had the monkfish and prawn kebab and my husband had the lamb, which he said was the best lamb he's ever had! We will be returning for out last night before we go home as it was so good.

Kwalitatief was het ok.
Maar het personeel was onvriendelijk.
Een groep van 10 man moest op het terras over 3 tafels verspreid zitten want een tafel bij een andere zetten ging niet.. man man
Een koffie duurt gemiddeld 5 minuten en de manager snauwt zijn personeel bij de regelmaat af.

Waited over 40 minutes for 2 toastie and some calamari, there were literally more staff than customers. Toastie was fairly mediocre.
They pre salted the chips which I detest as I dont like overly salty food.
Had a daiquiri, strawberry on it was battered.
Just avoid it. Absolute joke

Wir hatten 2 Fruchsäfte, diese waren auch recht gut. Die Pizza hingegen war eher durchschnittlich bis schlecht. Wenig Gewürzt und unfassbar viel Käse drauf. Bedienung war auch ok.
Ich müsste das Restaurant nicht unbedingt nochmal besuchen, aber vielleicht haben wir auch einen schlechten Tag und oder das falsche Gericht erwischt.

Super resto avec des steaks de 250 grammes très tendres, bien présentés. Steak à la portugaise pour mon conjoint et steak avec une crevette et sauce à l'ail pour moi, vraiment excellent. Service agréable et souriant.

Endroit très simpa nous avons pris un riz au fruits de mer pour deux mais a quatre vous êtes très bien il ya la quantité et le goût j'ai retrouvé mes saveurs étant d'origine portugaise. Nos serveurs très simpa.

Voor een prijs van € 49,50, 2 personen, een gevarieerde visschotel die ruim voldoende bleek.
Ook de huiswijn stak ruim boven het gemiddelde uit.
Daarbij kwam een goede bediening.
Kortom we komen zeer binnenkort hier weer eten.

An oasis in the middle of Albufeira's old town's abundance of fast fod, pizza's, pasta, steaks....... Sat upstairs on the balcony and ate good food, drank the best rose sangria, all served by the most friendliest staff. Thank you.

I had the salmon with fries and salad, the salmon was cooked to perfection and so tasty. My friend ordered the peppercorn steak rare and it came medium-well but she was happy with the flavour so decided to not send it back.
The service we received from a lovely young woman was great. We would come back for dinner!

La tanto famosa cataplana, servita in questo ristorante e risultati un ammasso di cipolla,peperoni,sugo. Con pochissimi frutti di mare e crostacei stracotti e duri come il ferro. Metto 2 stelle poiché potrebbe essere anche una questione di gusti, noi italiani siamo abituati ad una cucina più semplice quindi per me non merita...

Talvez seja um dos melhores restaurantes de Albufeira! Qualidade a toda a prova com as melhores iguarias do mar e não só! Foi-me aconselhado por alguns amigos que nasceram e ainda moram nesta cidade, que me deram a conhecer a história de vida do proprietário deste e de outros restaurantes da zona de albufeira que é de gente de trabalho desta terra e que alcançou o triunfo na sua vida comercial. Tem ainda bares em albufeira que complementam o negócio! Sinto - me profundamente admirado com o senhor e a sua vida de trabalho que pondo em primeiro lugar a pessoa dos seus clientes atingiu obra prima! Parabéns a ele, portanto.

8 of us ate here several nights in a row after getting food poisoning else where.
When we were all so happy and there was such variety on the menu we thought why bother with the great restaurant debate.
All the dishes we tried were good to outstanding.
But it wasnt as much the food that kept us coming back as much as the staff.
They did everything the could including countless little changes to the dishes to make us all comfortable.
Reuben and Paulo in particular took the time to talk to my little niece and nephew and really bring them out of their shell. They encouraged them to try different dishes and let them help serve and clear up our table, for them it was a pricless experience.
Im sure the little free bits didnt cost the restaurant anything in the scheme of our bills, but little tasters, a round or two of free port or coffee, an ice cream for the children when they were particularly good. Giving us some language lessons and advice on excursions it made us feel like family.

Lovely restaurant booked a table on the balcony we was made to feel so welcome nothing was to much trouble even supplied wraps to keep you warm in the cool breeze the waitress was so nice, funny and very polite. The food was delicious we will certainly be returning.

The best restaurant in Algarve the food are the best quality, staff very friendly and efficient, channa the managing director knows how to organise such nice menu , really recommended if you want have nice meal in holidays ....

Muito bom Excelente Camarão ao Alhinho Picante, um grande Bitoque de Carne de Vaca e uma Pizza Caseira deliciosa. Vale a pena visitar. Muita simpatia e grande sinceridade por parte dos funcionários. Preços adequados ao esperado nestes locais.

Потрясающее место, мы были там не один раз и на завтрак, обед и ужин! Очень вкусно, но,что не мало важно, очень красиво! Подача блюд всегда красиво оформлена и все подберут под тебя, исключат, что не любишь и добавят, что хочешь! Я его советую! Советую попробовать шоколадный домашний мусс!

I’m giving the restaurant a 2 star review only because the scallops were bomb and the Cod dish I had was pretty good. Aside from that, the waiter we had was far from attentive and didn’t seem to have a concept of what customer service meant. Waited 20 minutes just for someone to come take our drink and appetizer order, another 15 to receive them. Then I witness how attentive, chatty and responsive he was to customers who spoke Portuguese as opposed to foreigners. His friends got their drinks and appetizers within 5 minutes of them being seated, meanwhile another couple who sat before the group were still waiting to the point I had to make them aware that the guests haven’t been greeted yet. Needless to say wife and I didn’t end up enjoying the New Year celebration in Oldtown after we’ve been outside for 4 hours with little heat and to experience horrible service.

Super lekker gegeten. Wat een mooie ossehaas en mijn man vond de lamsracks ook geweldig. Hier komen we zeker nog terug. Ook bijzonder vriendelijke bediening. Het zit hier niet voor niets heel de avond vol. Top.

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen, Châteaubriand, super Fleisch mit Gemüse und Kartoffelgratin. Das Personal war sehr professionell und gut gelaunt. Ein schönes Erlebnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Well after reading reviews, we decided to try this place and was not disappointed, we were sat chilling watching the world go by. What we enjoyed, we were not rushed and the staff were excellent, we have found, that most restaurants want to get you in & out, NOT THIS PLACE. The food was excellent my wife had the leg of lamb with mash & veg lovely, I had the monster tiger king prawns with veg & rice, wow this was just amazing. A great meal with a bottle of red & water 68 euros

Once again had an outstanding meal in this restaurant. I had the swordfish again which is amazing, and husband and our friend had the steak on the stone which they both loved. The staff also make it such a great place to eat and make you feel so welcome. You need to give this restaurant a visit when in Albufeira

5 of us eaten tonight. Food was lovely. I had the pork with clams and traditional corn mash which I would recommend trying as it is a great alternative to chips, mash or rice. Husband had steak on hot stone, daughter had monk fish skewers and 2 of our party ordered pizzas. We all enjoyed our food which was very tasty with good service. A little pricey compared to some other places but was worth it as we all enjoyed our meals. We commented on a couple of service issues and received feedback from the manager who took our comments on board. We will definitely go back during our stay.

Restaurant situé dans la vieille ville sur un site piétonnier .
Rien à dire sur le burger que j ai pris.
Par contre le coca servi directement dans un grand verre avec beaucoup de glaçons dont le goût m a fait pensé à celui que l on sert chez MC D... Bof. ..

Nice spot away from the neon lights of the main strip in old town. Portuguese style steak and Pork were really tasty. The highlight was the goat cheese starter. Well worth a visit.

Restaurante com muito boa localização, boa qualidade de comida, um espaço acolhedor com obras de arte como companhia. Numa noite fria de Dezembro de 2017, o ambiente quente do Bailote, uma óptima refeição sublinhada pela simpatia da empregada souberam muito bem. Menos favorável é o preço das refeições, de certeza mais apropriado aos turistas (eram a maior parte dos clientes quando lá jantámos, tendo naturalmente outro poder de compra), mas pelo que já constatámos é assim por todo o Algarve, mesmo em epoca baixa, se é que isso existe no Algarve....em todo o caso, demasiado caro na minha modesta opinião.

Gutes Essen. Sowohl lokale Küche wie auch die Touri-Klassiker. Sehr aufmerksame und nette Bedingungen + gute Lage im alten Teil von Albufeira. Preise sind für die Region üblich. Würde wieder dort Essen gehen.

Ate at this establishment twice.
First time was ok service was good and food ok so decided to go again.
Unfortunately the second visit wasn't so good.
Peri peri chicken was very dry and chewy.
When we asked the waiter why the chicken was so dry he replied with "that's how it is".
If you like chicken nuggets the kids said they were great.hmmmm.
Management offered no reduction in our bill even though the chicken was returned not eaten.

Wir haben hier Pizza und Pasta gegessen. Fazit: Sehr teures Essen für etwas ungenießbares. Meine Nudeln habe ich zurückgehen lassen. Der Service wirkt sehr arrogant.

Wij hebben 75 minuten minuten gewacht om vervolgens zeer matig te eten. Het eten was te lang doorgebakken en veel dingen waren al een tijdje niet meer warm. Ook het personeel was zeer matig. Er werd heel vreemd opgekeken toen wij vroegen waar ons eten bleef. Vervolgens kregen we het eten geserveerd maar was het blijkbaar voor een andere tafel.

It took over 1 hour and 20 minutes to serve 7 people. The beef was overcooked, the chicken was dry and the spareribs was mediocre. The only thing that is "restaurant" with Bailote is the prices.

Es muy caro, para la comida que ofrecen. Además no es comida portugesa sino mas bien estilo inglés.
Poca cantidad, pedimos costillas y nos pusieron 1/4 parte de un costillar.
