It seemed to be a very local place. The night i went there (i think it was wednesday) they had a tapas tasting menu where you could lots of stuff for only €10. There was Feijoada, sweet potatoes, carrots, fish and seafood. Staff is really friendly

Wir haben da für 9 reserviert. Kellner kam 1 Mal, dann sind wir selbst gelaufen um Getränke zu holen. Soweit nicht schlim. Auf 1 Omlette 40 min gewartet + 5 Erinnerungen. Ich bin nicht annähernd satt geworden ,da es viel zu viele Menschen gab und zu wenig Essen. Teilweise angebrant und geschmacksneutral . Wir haben in Portugal schon ungeheuer gut gegessen, HIER NICHT! Dazu war es verhältnismäßig teuer.

Really great food. If you want tapas before dinner come here. Smoked sausage was amazing with their cheese plate. Delicious!

Das Absolute Highlight auf unserer kulinarischen Reise durch Lagos!!! Von außen ganz unscheinbar liegt das Almadraque in einem weniger belaufenen Gässchen im Zentrum von Lagos. Angeboten werden frische und ausschließlich selbst zubereitete portugiesische Speisen. Wir waren zwei Mal hier und hatten jeweils zur Vorspeise eine Variation der köstlichen Tapas. Anschließend gab es das Gericht des Tages (Dorade, Tintenfisch, Kaninchen) welches immer unglaublich lecker war. Das selbst gemachte Mouse o Chocolat ist ebenfalls ein Traum. Alles in Allem ein herrlicher Laden für eine schöne Zeit mit gutem Essen oder auch einfach nur zum Fußballschauen an der Bar. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hinzu unschlagbar. Immer wieder gerne. 5 Sterne!! *auf keinen Fall vergessen darf man die überaus herzliche und kompetente Besitzerin mit ihren Unterstützern

Preço de um bife que está na carta não pode ter aquele valor visto que não tem acompanhamento. Para comer amostras de bife vou a um k seja gourmet aí sei o k me espera.

A great find!! The food was fresh and delicious. A small family owned restaurant (in fact their kitchen is at the bar), and you can see that they take pride in the freshness and flavour of their dishes. Tapas based menu with only a handful of seafood options, but we loved every thing we tried! We’d recommend their sardines and shrimp. The octopus and chicken sausages are also worth trying! :)

Excellent tapas. Very friendly people. Loved the carrots, the octopus and poultry sausage in particular but it was all very good. Recommended if you want local food.

Stumbled upon this place and had delicious and great value food. We had a party of seven and were accommodated very well with brilliant food and lots of sangria. The black bean stew and octopus were lovely and we were so full we didn’t even try the prawns we had planned on ordering!

Stopped in here on a whim with my family. Small, local-seeming place. The staff was very friendly and the food was incredible. We got an assortment of food, including the amazing wild boar special. The food was delicious and inexpensive :) Best meal I ate in Portugal!
