Sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundlicher Service. Preislich voll ok. Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Es wurde uns sofort ein Tisch zugewiesen und ein Kellner kam mit der Auswahl verschiedener Fische auf uns zu. Es gibt auch eine sehr große Auswahl an Desserts. Sehr zufrieden.

The 2nd restaurant we visited during our 5day golf trip. Superb is the word. I am quite fussy about food when on holiday and I would highly recommend this eating experience to anyone visiting the area.

Super Küche, super Service, Fisch war ganz frisch und bestens zubereitet.
Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Die Erwartung war vielleicht zu groß!
Der Schwertfisch mit Beilage war annehmbar, aber der berühmte Fischplatte was ein Eintopf im Sud ist war gefüllt mit Zwiebeln, Paprika und Tomaten beinhaltet für eine Person 18 € vier Fischstücke mit Gräten, drei Shrimps und vieeeele Muscheln, von denen nicht alle essbar waren.

Wir waren dort zu 6 Personen am Sonntag Mittag. Obwohl sich das Lokal erst langsam füllte mussten wir über eine Stunde auf unseren gegrillten Fisch warten, der leider auch nicht ganz durch gegrillt war. Der Servce war freundlich aber gestresst und der Wirt nicht mehr besonders interessiert, als wir nicht den grössten und teuersten Fisch wählten.

Ljubazno osoblje, hrana vrlo ukusna. Cijene su uistinu korektne a porcije ogromne. Restoran je svakako za preporuciti, doci cemo opet!

Excellent food and very friendly staff.
Rustic feel to the place. Staff very attentive . We were a party of 9 and we didn't wait long for food.
They served the kids first and kept speaking with them throughout the evening.
We arrived about 1930h and it was quiet. By 2030h the restaurant was full.
Great selection of food.... fish (huge choice), kebabs, steaks, kids menu.
Would recommend and will look to return before we leave.

As estrelas e pela pueira concentrada na decoração e vidros muito sujos. Um restaurante tem que estar impecável na limpeza da porta principal a cozinha.. Não é por ser um restaurante de praia que tem k ser diferente... Mas dou nota 4 ao atendimento.

Restaurante cozinha típica portuguesa Excelente! Já há anos que quando estamos no Algarve temos de vir à Ribeira ! Hoje comemos uma sopa de peixe deliciosa e um arroz de tamboril fantástico - como sempre -. O staff é de uma simpatia e profissionalismo irrepreensível e que faz com que queiramos sempre repetir. Parabéns ao proprietário por manter a qualidade ao longo dos anos. Parabéns ao Tiago que foi muito simpático! Obrigado

Amazing place to have an amazing food. I went with my partner and we both loved it! Food was incredible, we ordered rice with monkfish and prawns. The best rice I have ever had. Price is really good and reasonable for the food. Service is very nice, quick and caring. Thanks for the awesome experience!

Das beste Essen an der Algarve
bekommt man eindeutig im A Ribeira.
Ein patriarchaischer Chef wacht mit strengem Blick auf das Treiben der Mitarbeiter, die alle ihr Handwerk verstehen. Kein Gang ohne Blick auf die Tische der Gäste, ob nicht etwas fehlt, kein Teller steht leergegessen lange und wartet auf Mitnahme.
Am Eingang passiert man den Fang des Tages und dieser wird auf Wunsch auf dem Holzkohle Grill daneben frisch zubereitet. Leckere Beilagen wie Kartoffeln und angedünstetes Gemüse runden den Genuss ab. Auch sehr empfehlenswert für Fleischfans sind die Spieße mit Zwiebeln und Paprika ergänzt. Desserts sind der Hammer!
Am Ende wundert man sich noch über den kleinen Preis und prüft, ob nichts vergessen wurde. Wurde es nicht.
Ein unbedingtes Muss, wenn man in der Nähe ist.

Fantastic family restaurant serving beautiful fish . Plus if you catch fish locally on a fishing trip they will gut and cook it for you all for the price of your vegetables / salad and drinks . Wonderful place which has given us a great memory.

The best fresh fish from Alvor, here you known for sure that the fish they serve you is from the ocean and not farmed,
The staff is super knowledge about the product they served and always guide you through the menu, super attentive service, don't miss the local clams cooked in garlic and olive oil with fresh coriander and if you do so ask for toasted bread for dipping. The sea bass or golden bream are spectacular just grill with sea salt, a good variety of local deserts and finish with a local medronho, absolutely great experience... don't forget to go around sunset because you will be able to enjoy the sunset while having your diner, by the way the sunset is over Alvor bay super awesome
