Absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end ! One the best meal we've had in the Algarve. Definitely a hidden gam that is worth visiting. Quality food fresh and well prepared.

Dieses Restaurant ist durchaus noch ein Geheimtipp. Ein wenig versteckt in einer Seitengasse bietet es gute portugiesische Küche. Die Karte ist zwar nicht umfangreich, die Gerichte sind aber sehr schmackhaft und liebevoll zubereitet. Auch das Kindergericht ist nicht das übliche Fastfood wie bei den meisten anderen Restaurants.

The restaurant is empty. We are 10. The woman working here tonight just told us to our face they don't have tables. Well, I guess this is why it was empty.

Apesar de já ter jantado neste restaurante e ter ficado bastante satisfeito, hoje fiquei com opinião completamente oposta: às 20h30 não fui recebido porque o dono estava cansado e não recebia mais ninguém!! Tinha apenas uma mesa ocupada com um casal. Assim não vale apena ter estabelecimento aberto.

Estivemos lá há 10 min(21.25) e apesar de terem ainda mesas livres não nos quiseram servir dizendo que o restaurante estava fechado. Mas o destacou foi a arrogância e a falta de educação da empregada e do chefe que mandamos chamar . Um chefe francês sem classe e que deve envergpnhar o seu país ou qualquer outro onde trabalhe.

We're staying in Altura to celebrate my Mum's birthday and this restaurant was recommended to us. It could not have been any better; the food (in particular the goat's cheese starter and sea bass were spectacular), the wine was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely. I wish we had asked our waitress for her name as she couldn't have done more for us. A really special place.
