The Hotel Florida is located in a great location, close to old town, and close to the airport. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the location is close to everything. Price per room is competitive and there are several restaurants close to the hotel but parking is an issue.

Hotel céntrico y tranquilo, relación calidad precio muy buena. El personal es muy amable y la habitación (Jack Nicholson ) espaciosa, y predomina la limpieza. Muy recomendable.

Horrible. The room was very very noise. All the airco that are hanging outside are clearly hearable. So it is like sleeping with a vaccuumcleaner working next to your bed. Besides that it was not particularly clean (see pics) We had problems with 1 room and were promissed that we were being transferred to another room which would accommodate my mother better (she is elderly and the bath was too high so she couldn't shower and needed a room with a shower or a lower bath) . When we arrived at night, the room change did not happen and we were told it was not possible althought 2 seperate employees had told us it was the day before and the very same day. So they just gave a key to some random room which was pointless. Looking for answers/solutions and not getting any. I was promised I would be called with more information regarding the change of the room. Didn't happen. None of the employees know anything about what the other is doing so trusting the employees to do what we agreed upon is pointless. Problems happen, mistakes happen but false promises and no communication is an absolute 'no no' to me. The next morning, after spending nightly hours looking for another hotel, suddenly the promised room was available....

La situation de lhôtel est très bien, proche du centre et juste en dehors dans un zone calme, proche des départs des excursions en bus. Lapparence de lhôtel en général est un peu vieillot, ne reflête pas les photos vues sur le site, bon travail du photographe :-) Lisolation de la chambre nétait pas terrible, le restaurant de lhôtel dépanne si lon ne souhaite pas sortir mais pas plus. Le personnel était disponible, certains plus que dautres. La vue depuis la salle du petit-déjeuner sur la Place Marqués de Pompal est agréable.

Leider ein Zimmer Richtung Hinterhof bekommen, sehr laut wegen Dauerlauf der Abluft bzw. Zentralklimaanlage vom Nachbargebäude. Schlafen mit geöffneten Fenster nicht möglich. Winziges Zimmer, Mini Bad und WC. Personal aber sehr freundlich und Frühstück völlig ausreichend.
Zentral gelegen, direkt gegenüber der Hop-on Hop-off Busstation für Sightseeingtouren.

Nice hotel situated in a good area. Super close to metro and short walk to Avenida de Liberdade (literally around the corner.). The front desk staff is friendly and professional. The room was nice, but not out of this world. The TV didn’t work and the mini fridge was empty. I could’ve used some snacks up on a couple REALLY late returns. The bathroom is clean and everything you need, albeit a tad tight. I messaged the hotel via the Expedia message function to request than an iron/ironing board be in my room—it was! My only other complaint about this hotel is the lack of an operating bar. I would leave the hotel every morning and would’ve liked to stop at the bar for a coffee, but the little counter isn’t inviting and doesn’t appear to ever be used. Overall, the hotel is nice and perfect for those solo trips that I take. I would stay again if the price remains right.

Visitei devido a um evento. Não como cliente. Mas fiquei muito bem impressionado com o bom gosto e aparência interna do hotel. Visto do exterior na se deslumbra a pérola que é o seu interior. Não dou 5 estrelas porque foi visita e não desfrutei dos serviços nem dos quartos

Muitas vezes fui neste hotel mais não hospedei hainda passava para um beginhos minha filha que tinha loja de câmbio neste hotel...Está em uma das zonas mais requintada de Portugal Lisboa Marques Pombal lugar que lindo cheio de turistas lojas chique de marcas portuguesas cafés restaurantes Jardim lindos recomendo o hotel também tem uma equipe fantástica até onde pude perceber!!!

Amazing location, very nice receptionists, ok rooms, and good breakfast. I just didn’t like the interiors of the place (especially the animal print) and found the breakfast crew a little useless as they stand in a corner doing nothing most times and don’t even speak English for the most part. I was expecting more, I have to admit.

Greta breakfast. Located centrally in Marquis Pombal, with easy access to Metro station. Also easy access to hop on hop off bus service which is a great way to do sightseeing. Located near the area of bairo Alto, where you will find great bars and dining options.

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima e molto comoda, soprattutto per i mezzi. Credo che lo considererei più un tre stelle che un quattro stelle, ma questo è compensato dal prezzo non elevato. Le stanze sono spaziose e il personale è gentile. Purtroppo la nostra camera era rumorosa, dando sulla strada e in parte si sentivano anche rumori dalle altre stanze. Forse alcune camere necessiterebbe di maggiore isolamento sonoro.

Posizione ottima ma in quanto al servizio di sicuro non è all'altezza di un 4 stelle. Inoltre la mia camera era molto rumorosa poiché da una parte affacciava su una strada molto trafficata e inoltre comunicava con un altra camera molto chiassosa. Il fatto di avere una porta di comunicazione con un altra camera non è il massimo.

It started bad with the mess of the type of reservation (queen bed and smoking room) they gave us twin beds and there were no smoking rooms in the hotel. The receptionist understood and the next day changed us to the top floor with a queen bed and a fantastic balcony in which we smoked.Overall it was a nice stay. The breakfast is fantastic in my opinion

Nettes Hotel in idealer Lage zur Metro und Avenida, keine 4* im herkömmlichen Sinne, dafür fehlten Kleinigkeiten wie z. B. ein Schuhlöffel im Schrank oder Kosmetiktücher ect. Die Zimmer hätten wieder eine Renovierung der Bäder nötig, aber es war sehr sauber und auch die öffentlichen Räume wie z. B. der Frühstücksraum waren sehr schön, vor allem dort die Aussicht auf den Marques de Pombal Platz. Auch das Frühstücksangebot war gut und ausreichend. Wir hatten bei einem 3- Bettt-Zimmer im 3. Stock Ausblick auf den Hinterhof und das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte aber gut. Leider standen die ganzen 5 Tage bei uns ca. 15 polsterlose Stühle im Gang neben dem Zimmer, die wahrscheinlich auf einen neuen Bezug warteten? Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett, am letzten Tag konnten wir auch die Koffer problemlos noch deponieren. Der Preis hier bei Expedia war aber Ok, somit konnten wir über die kleinen Mängel gut hinwegsehen.

This room was not pleasant at all. The window faces the ground floor of a space enclosed by other buildings where theres a very noisy air conditioning machine. There were also several ACs on the windows of the other buildings facing the patio. I dont know if this is the cause of the unpleasant smell that was always in room after leaving it for a while. The bathroom window maybe didnt close completely and so this air came in. Or maybe the room had been closed for a long time.The bathroom was otherwise fine, spacious and clean. Service wasnt the best either. The bed was poorly made, the bed linen would always come completely loose very easily and there was nothing else between the bed linen and mattress itself, so you could feel the mattress texture. It also means nothing was protecting the mattress from possible stains. Two days in a row, service forgot to replace hand towels, even though they took the used ones. The room is small for two people carrying a bigger suitcase. The wardrobe is so thing that the hangers dont fit and the clothes get scratched on the door or just fall off.-> Bottom line, I dont recommend this room if youre staying longer than a couple of nights and want to enjoy the room at all. For this condition, it was not worth the price.The area is nice and practical to reach anywhere in the city. Also well served by restaurants. Except for the room, the hotel is nice and the staff are nice too.

Hotel molto carino ma soprattutto molto comodo per la posizione perfetta. Metro e fermata bus proprio davanti l'albergo! Molto pulito e lo staff molto gentile. Non metto 5 stelle solo perché siamo capitati in una stanza Interna che era piena di motori dei climatizzatori Delle varie camere e la prima notte il rumore era fortissimo. Fortunatamente l'indomani andandoci a lamentare ci hanno cambiato la camera(fortunatamente era disponibile) e lì siamo riusciti a dormire serenamente.
Un altro piccolo difetto, è stato il bagno: troppo piccolo, c'era poco spazio tra il water e il lavandino e tra il lavandino e il bidet, il che rendeva difficile l'uso degli stessi. Però ci siamo trovati nel complesso molto bene, soprattutto per la cortesia dello staff e la posizione perfetta.

Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. Great location. Front desk staff 'mostly' uncaring and inattentive; the odd one at reception desk was good. No ice machine and not always convenient to get ice cubes in evening, though there was a mini fridge that worked well. Not sure we'd stay here again; likely better choices/value within a few blocks which aren't well advertised.

Hotel un po' defilato dalla zona centrale di Lisbona, ma servito dai mezzi pubblici abbastanza bene. Abbiamo trascorso in questa struttura alcuni giorni dedicandoci alla visita della città e dei dintorni.

Great location and the rooms were quirky and cute. It was very close to the metro station and this made it really easy to get about. The bar wasn't open when we were there but they were still able to get us some ice for our late night whisky.

Eigentlich okay und gut gelegen. Aber sehr laut.
Trotz fast leerem Hotel zimmer hinter dem Fahrstuhl bekommen. Schlechter Service.
Fenster sind ein Witz.
Teilweise alles etwas abgenutzt könnte mit wenig Aufwand wie zb ein paar Schrauben wieder in stand gesetzt sein.
7:10 und das Frühstücksbuffet ist noch leer.
Für Geschäftsreisenden nicht empfehlenswert.

Entras en un hotel retro, con fotografías de Audrie Hepburn Humprey Bogart, y vas a tomar el desayuno en un modernismo comedor frente a los jardines presididos por el Marqués de Pombal en su figura ecuestre... Maravilloso...

Service très décevant. Nous avons signalé dès le 1er soir que la baignoire était bouchée; deux jours après, situation inchangée malgré plusieurs relances. Moisissures sur les joints du carrelage...

첫날 빼곤 조식을 뺐는데 빼길 잘했음. 직원들의 응대는 나쁘지 않으나 특별히 친절하다 느껴지진 않고. 처음에 배수 안돼서 뚫어주고 감. 좁고 조명이 부족. 창밖에 에어컨 실외기 등 기계가 잔뜩 돌아가 시끄럽. 대도로변 살아 백색소음 익숙한데도 힘들었음. 4성급치곤 가격이 저렴한거같지만 절대 4성급 아님.

Prenotate due matrimoniali. Arrivati alle 14 non sono pronte. Andiamo a mangiare e torniamo alle 14.30 è pronta solo una stanza x l'altra c'è da attendere 5 minuti. Dopo 15 minuti ci dicono di attendere ancora 5 min. Alle15.00 dicono che ci cambiano stanza e non più quella vicina alla precedente, saliamo e la stanza non è matrimoniale ma a due letti.
Bagno piccolo con dosatore per il sapone ed una saponettina per il bidet che in tre giorni non verrà mai cambiata. Camera pulita e personale gentile e disponibile.
Una grande curiosità anche serve il frigobar VUOTO senza neanche un bottiglia di acqua?

The room was 27 degrees and the young girl at the front desk was very rude and dismissive and wouldn't listen for two days when we told her the AC wasn't working. Only after their maintenance confirmed it did she respond with, "Oh. I guess there *is* a 'real' problem." Still no assistance or options given. Not worth the price.

Le personnel est sympathique et toujours disponible.Beaucoup de bruit extérieur malgré que l hôtel ait des chambres sur une rue plus petite que la principale artère. Un problème de bruit aussi d un appareil qui fonctionnait toute la nuit. C était une bombonne à eau apparemment. Mais le personnel nous a changé de chambre dès qu on les a prévenu. Petit déjeuner très copieux et de qualité. Je ne mettrai pas forcément cet hôtel dans une catégorie 4 étoiles. Par contre très bien placé pour visiter Lisbonne.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits ds cet hôtel remarquablement situé à côté de la place Marqués de Pombal. La chambre était de taille correcte (nous étions un couplé avec un enfant de 10 ans), bonne literie, personnel aimable, le nettoyage était fait correctement, petit déjeuner buffet copieux (seul le café express est en supplément). Seul bémol l'absence totale de vue et donc peu de luminosité dans la chambre.

Amplia habitación con terraza y vistas en la novena planta. Genial la cafetera y el surtido de cafés en la habitación. Dispone de sillas en habitación y hamacas en la terraza. Tambien tiene mini nevera en la habitación. Buena limpieza. Manzanas y chuches en la recepción. No termino de entender el humor de la recepción.

The check in wasnt good. The staff who welcome us wasnt gentle. Besides that she ask us if we could sleep with one of our daughters in our bed because they didnt have other bed for her until the next day. We didnt accept it. People from the breakfast staff were very gentle. And the shower were very disappointing (low flow and hot/cold water instability).

Hotel que parece já ter tido sua época de ouro, mas que está meio decadente. Não há frigobar nos quartos. Por outro lado, a localização é excelente, em plena Marquês de Pombal. Muito perto do principal ponto dos ônibus sightseeing. Além disso, os funcionários são prestativos.

Buen hotel. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Los baños son con bañera, lo cual a mí personalmente no me gusta demasiado, pero muy limpios. En el desayuno no esperéis un súper buffet, es pequeñito pero tiene de todo, varios panes, muy buena fruta, huevos, cereales, embutidos, zumos naturales (al menos el de naranja)... de todo! Un salón muy tranquilo y acogedor, y las vistas, espectaculares! El personal de recepción muy agradable. Sin duda un buen hotel 4 estrellas, a solo 15 minutos caminando del centro.

El lugar donde se ubica es inmejorable, es una zona de edificios burgueses y palacetes. Está a 15minutos andando del centro histórico,pero el paseo es agradable y en llano. Le falta cuidar los detalles, se ve algún desperfecto. Es una pena porque se nota que se diseñó con gusto,pero no hay un mantenimiento impecable. Las toallas están para renovar, y quizás algo más de esmero en la limpieza.Sin estar sucio no reluce al entrar en la habitación. Las camas son muy cómodas!
No hemos probado el desayuno porque por el precio de uno desayunamos dos en Paderia A Portuguesa, que está cruzando la calle.Barato rico y variado. sándwich con pan recién horneado,zumo natural recién exprimido, croissant francés con chocolate,cafes, Todo por 10euros los dos! Con todo, es recomendable,por ese precio no encontrarás nada por la zona,aquí está el Ritz, y hoteles así.El personal de recepción muy amables.

El hotel no está en pleno centro. No está muy lejos tampoco. Se puede ir caminando. Volver cuesta un poco más porque es todo el rato caminando cuesta arriba. Pero no importa está muy bien comunicado. Está junto a una plaza en la que paran muchos autobuses urbanos y los turísticos también. La parada del metro está prácticamente en la puerta.Nuestra habitación era estupenda. Y muy limpia.

El hotel no está mal, pero cuatro estrellas sería cuando abrió, porque lo que es ahora le daría tres justitas. Tened cuidado si reserváis que no os den una habitación que dé al patio interior, el ruido del extractor del restaurante es insoportable, además no estaba bien insonorizada, tanto es así que pedimos cambiarla, cosa que no pudieron hacer hasta el día siguiente. La nueva habitación algo mejor, aunque a los del al lado se les oía perfectamente. Igual es que estamos mal acostumbrados, pero a los cuatro estrellas que he ido han tenido mejores servicios y no me ha molestado nada ni nadie para dormir.

Déco sympa et dédié au nom de la chambre "James Dean"
Ma chambre disposait d'une terrasse (côté opposé à la praça de Pombal) avec sièges et petite table.
Le point noir est la chasse d'eau qui s'est cassé durant mon séjour et qui n'a pas été réparé.
Le petit déjeuner à 15e est un buffet a volonté plutot complet avec du saumon fumé, des gâteaux, des fruits coupés, des jus, des oeufs brouillés....
La situation de l'hôtel est centrale du fait de la proximité du métro et de ses lignes bleu et jaune.
Le bar ne dispose pas toujours des fruits pour les cocktails et ferme à 22h

Great value for the money. We went during the holidays in Spain and the price was one of the cheapest in London. Spacious rooms, clean and well located close to the main avenue where all the high end brands are located. Parking was 12€ but there was a chance also to park in the street in front of the hotel. After I talked to the Hotel Manager he took immediate action and informed the pest control the 2. day morning. During the day they switched my room and cleaned up everything possible. So after a very bad start it was a good stay in lisbon. The breakfast was ok and the new room also.
My only problem was the light in the rooms - it was dark, red and no chance to read a book, or really see anything in the room. In Germany we would call it "Puff-Beleuchtung" (whorehouse-lighting).

Very good place with an amazing location. The whole hotel is inspired in old movies, the furniture and all staff. Camere con arredamento simpatico dedicate ad attori e registi di film famosi ma che avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata. Cassaforte soltanto appoggiata e non fissata, TV con pochissimi canali, frigo bar vuoto e soprattutto senza parcheggio.
E per finire alla reception troviamo due che non parlano ne italiano ne inglese.

If you decide to visit Lisbon. DO NOT go to this hotel. The sheets are dirty, the beds are uncomfortable, the wall are so thin you can here the neighbors brushing their teeth (honest truth). The breakfast is really not good and the communication between the staff is obsolete. My sheets were dirty ( pee spots everywhere) and were changed after 7 hours and 2 requests made to the staff. There are better hotels in Lisbon than this one!!

Ich hatte ein Zimmer, das man besser nicht vermietet. Hinter den Kopfteil befand sich ein Lastenaufzug und der für das Personal. Ab 4:30 war es richtig laut. Das ganze war nicht auf den ersten Blick erkennen. Fenster ging in einen Innenschacht wo die ganzen Klimaanlagen gelaufen sind. Es war unerträglich laut. Von Aufzug ist mal mehrmals aufgewacht. 818 sofort ablehnen! Denke die anderen x18 sind nicht besser. Viele aus meiner Reisegruppe hatten ähnliche Zimmer. Somit ist das kein Einzelfall.
Sonst ist das Hotel schön und zentral gelegen. Hätte tauschen sollen, auch wenn es nur paar Nächte waren.

I really liked my stay at the hotel, most of the staff are friendly and understanding for any problems. The hotel is Hollywood themed and looks fantastic in some parts. With all the rooms being themed.
Me and my brother got the Marlon Brando room which was brilliant as it had the rooms with the beds in and another relaxing area with a sofa.
Breakfast is definitely worth the extra price, especially the hot chocolate (Nestle Quente) which tastes amazing. The city is also known for it's custard tarts which are also a highlight.
There is also a gallery to the left of the hotel which includes; shop, barbers, money converstions and an american diner.

Air condition was not working which they knew before we checked in but they still put us in that room. Asked for an electric fan from the grumpy manager for the night which they said they dont have anymore because they gave to two guests which their air condition was broken as well. Surprise ! Surprise ! One of the cleaner came in the room in our second day without knocking while i was having a shower while my wife was having breakfast. I freaked out seeing her in the room who doesnt even speak a word of english. What the hell is this hotel?! Poor facility, boring hotel and not friendly staff in this place at all, everyone seems to be on a grumpy mood all the time. Not recommending this hotel and not coming back anymore.

Staff were welcoming and informative when asked a question. The room was a decent size and beds comfortable with reasonable sized bedroom. We noticed a slightly damp smell when walking into the room which we later realised was probably coming from a small area where the wallpaper was coming away. We did not notice it unduly and didnt report it to anyone, which on reflection we probably should have. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. We were able to leave our luggage on our last day when we had a late flight and the staff arranged a taxi to the airport for us.

Very Nice location to transport service, markets, hotels etc.Very nice helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable rooms.Really enjoyed our stay for four days.

Service de chambre médiocre. Poils sur le lit. Lors de la 2 eme journée il manquait une serviette de bain. Les serviettes pour les mains ont disparues. Équipement de la chambre insuffisant .

Not within the city centre but a great place to stay and relax, and is quite accessible to different modes of transport.There are nice restaurants nearby for a more relaxing, less-touristy meal.

Bastante cómodo, habitaciones muy amplias y limpias, bonita decoración de películas clásicas.con la estación de Metro Marqués de Pombal prácticamente en la misma puerta. Cerca del centro, pero no en el meollo. Fenomenal para hacer turismo y a la vez situado en una zona tranquila.

Wir waren als Pärchen ein Wochenende in Lisboa und es war eine sehr gute Basis für diesen Trip. Nettes Ambiente, im 60/70 Jahre Style. Badewanne, Wifi, TV, Kingsize Bed + zentrale Lage um alle Sachen zu erreichen. Heißt mitten drin und die Metro vor der Türe. Personal war auch freundlich, Roomservice auch gut,...Gelungene Reise und schönes Hotel, gerne wieder....

Super Lage, ca 15 min Fussmarsch bis ins Zentrum. Hotel sauber, im Bad jedoch etwas Schimmel vorhanden.Den ganzen TAg und vor allem nachts sehr laut, auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern, da Hotel an einem Verkehrsknotenpunkt liegt!!

Bien situado, a un paso de la principal avenida comercial y a 15 min. de la zona peatonal. Metro y buses a la vuelta de la esquina. Hotel sin grandes florituras. Quiere ser tematico del cine, pero se queda en el intento. Limpio y el personal amable, pero como 4* es mas bien justito.

The hotel is perfectly located steps away from Avenida da Liberdade which makes it easy to just walk around the city center. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The great advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the metro station. The hotel and its rooms are quirkily themed on the motion picture industry. The Humphrey Bogart room that we were allocated was dominated by two large single beds and had a working fridge and air conditioning. The wardrobe only had one half door which was rather odd! When we arrived even that half door wouldnt slide open. (It was fixed promptly when we advised reception). We were put off having breakfast there by the high price tag - certainly in comparison to local cafes.The staff were mainly very friendly and helpful and we were very grateful when they handed us two items that we had somehow omitted to pack when we returned to pick up our luggage for a late flight home.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff polite and helpful.There were a couple of relatively unimportant issues which could greatly improve things.1. The bar was a small uncharismatic area tucked around a corner of the reception area and not really the place to have a nightcap.2. The tea and coffee supplies in the room were very welcome but the staff looked surprised when we asked for milk, they handed us a small tumbler of milk each time we asked but it would have been better to have the small cartons in the room, all else very good and perfectly adequate for a weekend stay.

Very comfortable stay for a week. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect, being just a minute to Marques de Pombal metro station.Didnt use hotel for food, but nice pastry shop left down the road.Certainly recommended at this level of budget and no problems whatsoever.

Had a lovely city break. Was well impressed with the friendliness of the Portugese people. Location was just perfect. Saw all the major sights,and enjoyed learning about the History of Lisbon!

We spent two nights in the hotel Florida, the room was modern an clean. The location is quiet and just 1min from the metro station. Supermarket and pharmacy are just next to the hotel. Wifi is not free and only available for one user at the same time...

Hotellet är bra på alla sätt och mycket fint med stora rum (2 stycken). Dock ligger det bara okej men inte perfekt (ca 1 km att gå till det som väl får kallas centrum).

Detta är ett prisvärt hotell som ligger relativt centralt i Lissabon. Standarden är hyfsad och det hålls rent och snyggt. Det ligger vid en tunnelbanestation och cirka 100 meter från en hållplats för flygbussen. Taxin til/från flygplatsen kostar cirka EUR 10 och tar 10 minuter. Flygbussen kostar EUR 3,50/person.

The room I received was the smallest on the floor but more annoying was that it looked over a fetid air shaft and the air conditioning was turned off when I arrived. It took awhile for a staff member to come to the room to explain how to activate the a/c (I was unfamiliar with the remote controlling it.) Then I was advised of a nearby restaurant which was very pricey and had a basket of obviously stale bread on the table to begin with. I was glad my stay was for one night only.

Upon arrival at this hotel, my husband and I were not even greeted; when we were, it was in a very unfriendly manner. The person at the front desk, was rude and unwelcoming. Was in a TOTAL state of disrepair; there was dust everywhere, the one elevator they did have was not working properly and debris from the construction was falling into the elevator car as you walked in. We were given a remodeled room which we were very satisfied with. The bathroom was clean and modern but everything around us was sub-standard, dusty and dirty. The breakfast area was nice and the food was okay. The location of this hotel is very, very good. The metro station is right in front and the general area is nice as well. Given the circumstances, I think we definitely over paid for our stay at this place.
