I had a brilliant time at My Rainbow Rooms. I stayed in a dormitory room, was very clean and comfortable. Staff were incredible, Marlon & Allen were extremely friendly, welcoming and social. I would certainly stay here again

Everything was great at the guest house. Great location for trekking around the city and the staff is super friendly. Almost too friendly. :) My only complaint would be the fact that there is no exact address and without a phone that works in the city, it is impossible to get a hold of anyone to let you in. We walked around for 45 mins trying to locate the place. Luckily the house boy was walking up and saw us walking up and down the street. He said there is no exact address because of privacy. Which I get but it is super inconvenient and very aggravating when you've been traveling all day to not be able to check in with ease. There's got to be a better way. Other than that, the stay was nice. The house boy, Marlon I think, was very nice!

Wenn man an der Hausnummer 31 angekommen ist, einfach kurz anrufen. Freundliche moderne Unterkunft für schwule Männer mit kleinen gemütlichen Zimmern und geteilten Badezimmern. Kein Service in den Zimmern, d.h. niemand räumt dein Zimmer auf - den Müll muss man auch selbst entsorgen. Mehrere Doppelzimmer und ein Mehrbettzimmer und ein Gemeinschaftszimmer sind verfügbar. Kaffee so viel man möchte ist inklusive. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen.

The guys there were very pleasant and helpful. Very clean too. To have mini fridge with real milk at the coffee machine would have been good but all in all very good hosts! I’m curious to know what the venue is next door???

As the name suggests, My Rainbow Rooms is really a colorful, comfortable and safe place to stay! On my first trip to Lisbon I had the great pleasure to meet and stay in this very captivating guest house! Not only it's extremely clean, well maintained and located - being close to markets, restaurants and everything you need to enjoy the most of your trip - as the entire staff is amazing! I was really treated with affection and involved in an atmosphere of such warmth that I was almost forgetting to stroll through Lisbon haha! Marc, a dear person and a valued activist from our LGBT community, and his team have created an unforgettable space and made me feel like I was part of the family! I can say for sure that I experienced one of the best weekends of my life in Lisbon being at My Rainbow Rooms. The place's joy, the privacy and the respect for the guests was only some of the elements that contributed to the sucess of my trip. If you have the opportunity, do not hesitate or even think twice: My Rainbow Rooms is where you should stay! To make friends, to see the respectable work that Mark is doing and of course to have fun without any judgment.

I had a long stay between 2012 and 2013 while I was living in Lisbon and it couldn't have been any better. The guest house is located in Saldanha, a very nice neighborhood which is close from the city center but still safe and modern. The house itself is very cozy, with a nice kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything is kept very - very! - clean and Marc and his employees went to great lengths to assure I was having a good stay. At the end of it, they became my family in Lisbon and my place of choice when returning to the city. :) I highly and wholeheartedly recommend them.

We just got back from a fantastic 5 night stay in Lisbon... my boyfriend and I stayed at My Rainbow Rooms Gay Men's Guesthouse and we loved the place! Amazing atmosphere... the apartment is well designed and has just been beautifully redecorated... the small but modern rooms have very comfortable beds with lots of thoughtful details (like recharging outlets on each side of the bed!) The staff was friendly, courteous, very helpful and spoke perfect English... it's an excellent value for money and will definitely stay there again!

Really [really] late review. I stayed here a few years ago. This place was great. Really homey. Heated bathroom floors. Unlimited hot water. And a nice little social area to congregate at night. Close enough to train station. And easy to communicate with. Definitely staying here again when I come back to Lisbon. muito bom.
